The SpaceThis is a great room at a great rate in a modern 2 storey brick home. I have just recently put in a queen sized bed - there is still plenty of room in this room. Ceiling fan, built-in wardrobe, duchess with huge mirror, a TV. Great view of Brisbane city from the window. Just outside your door is a kitchen, with all the facilities including complimentary tea and coffee, free condiments eg sauces, free cereal, also shampoos etc in the bathroom. The kitchen has been installed just for guests - so that you feel that you are not imposing on my space. This kitchen has all the facilities of a full kitchen - oven, good sized fridge, hot plates, microwave etc The bathroom has a bath and separate shower and the toilet is also separate. There is also a 2nd toilet downstairs. (Other guests also use these facilities.) I live downstairs and the guests live upstairs. Washing machine is also provided with washing powder free of charge. You are only 2 mins walk to all the shops here, including Aldi, cheap fruit and vegies, butcher, warehouse chemist etc (These shops would have to be the cheapest here in Brisbane.) Bus 100 (3 min walk) will take you direct into the city - about 25/30 mins depending on traffic. Bus 101 will take you to the Oxley train station - which will take you to the City as well. Wifi, cleaning fees, and all other expenses are included in the nightly rate. Plenty of free off-street parking. The room is lockable from both sides. I am helpful - (also respect your privacy) All of my guests have enjoyed staying here at Oxley. Please feel free to ask me anything you may need to know to make you stay the best possible. Guest AccessGuests have access to their own kitchen/dining area. Bathroom with separate toilet. Laundry and 2nd toilet downstairs if needed. I have recently added extra common areas - all new. 1. Shaded Pergola area - this is a long area with ample seating, electric barbeque and bar. Great for relaxing. You are also welcome to use my huge tuition room through the day for spreading out laptops and documents. Interaction with GuestsI respect the guest's privacy but at the same time available to chat and help out at any time. My area of the house is separate to the guests. The NeighborhoodEven though, I am not at the city's doorstep - everything is within walking distance to where I live - or very accessible by bus. For those travellers who don't have transport my place is ideal - as the shops are 2min walk, many eating places, tavern, take-away places etc. Bus is 3min walk. Getting AroundBus 100 leaves every 15mins and will take you direct to the city. Train is about 25 min walk - also take you to the city. The SpaceThis room is downstairs in a huge two-storey brick home. It is a comfortable room which has a single bed - great mattress, a comfortable couch and a wardrobe. The room has a new air-conditioner. Towel, soap, shampoo, etc provided. Main kitchen - installed for guests, with big fridge and all appliances are upstairs. Also main bathroom upstairs - with second toilet. Bathroom has shower and separate bath. You also have a toilet (powder room) close to your bedroom. For price will not be disappointed. (Best value for money on airbnb.) Guest AccessEasy access - room is near front door of house. Also you have walking access to the cheapest shops in Brisbane and Bus to city. If you have a car - access to free parking on my grass in front of house. Access to laundry - free to use. I have recently added extra common areas - all new. 1. Guest AccessYou have access to a beautiful kitchen - all new with modern stainless steel appliances. This kitchen has ample cupboards so that food and pantry items can be stored separately. Bathroom, separate toilet and powder room. (Please note that this bathroom is shared with others.) Lounge room - with 55' TV and DVD (sound bar), supply of your favourite movies, for those nights in. Coffee machine, (must supply own pods). Complimentary tea and coffee. Ample fridge space - 3 fridges and separate freezer, if needed. If you need a large desk space, I have a tuition room full of desks, bright lights for those who are here to study. (Not available between 3.00pm to 5.30pm) I have recently added extra common areas - all new. 1. The SpaceThe room has a Queen bed and is on the ground level, We live in the upstairs area. The ground level has a separate entry. The room is lockable from both sides. The downstairs area has two rooms available for rent, ideal for 2 couples travelling together or a family of 4. If you are just by yourself or a couple and just want one room, that's fine, and if you would prefer to have the area for yourself, this may be arranged for a small additional cost. The downstairs area facilities are shared and include a lounge area, outside area with seating and BBQ for guest use. There is tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, microwave, toaster, plates and cutlery and the BBQ for cooking. Guest AccessThe downstairs area has a separate entry and there is a large lounge area and outside area, including the BBQ for our Guests use. Interaction with GuestsWe respect our guest's preferences. If solitude is what you're after, we respect your privacy, but if you need information, or just a friendly chat, we will be only to happy to assist. The NeighborhoodEven though, we are not at the city's doorstep - everything is within walking distance - or very accessible by bus or train. Getting AroundWe are only a short 10 minute walk to the train station, which is a 25 minute ride to the city, and from there you can get connecting trains or buses to many other areas of Brisbane and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. There are also bus stops within a short walk as well. Close to the train station is a Woolworths Supermarket, Coffee Shops, Cafes, Bakers, Doctors, Chemists and more. There are other take away foods and a tavern within an easy walk. Other Things to NoteWe have an Outside cat, Billy, and he is not allowed inside.

Hi, My house is a single story large 3 bedroom house around 13 years old. It's in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. The house has a large bathroom and ensuite with a double garage. I have a lovely garden and outdoors entertaining area. For the snooker fan, I have a beautiful full sized snooker table in the rumpus room. I also have a spa bath. I lead a fairly quiet life with very few friends visiting. I have a partner that lives with me. Brett

So if you need that quick meal on the run, or unwind with a hot beverage - it's all at your fingertips. Tea and coffee are complimentary. I am not right in the city...but bus 100 is a direct route, and will take you straight to the city - approx 30 mins depending on time of day. It is 2 min walk to bus stop. Train station is 25 min walk but there is a bus that will take you there also. (Ipswich motorway is 2 min away by car.) Shops are also 2 min walk. (Cheapest shops in Brisbane.) The room has a Queen-sized bed with a latex 7cm mattress topper and a spare queen-sized mattress that will fit comfortably on the floor, if needed- for those extra guests. It has air-conditioning and two ceiling fans. It a a 42" plasma TV connected to surround-sound DVD/stereo player. Also has a bar fridge, mirco-wave, toaster and kettle. The room also has a desk with swivel chair. Full length mirror. Towels supplied. Wireless internet. So enjoy the privacy of this beautiful room. The bedroom is lockable from both sides. Just outside your door is a kitchen. It is fully equipped, with plenty of fridge and pantry space. This kitchen is entirely for the guests. It has a oval table with 6 chairs and a ceiling fan for those warmer nights. Tea and coffee are complimentary. Laundry room is downstairs which you are welcome to use. Please note that there is no extra charge for electricity/water or cleaning. I live in a lovely, quiet area and yet have all the conveniences of everything at one's fingertips. I can safely boast that the shops near me (2mins walk) are the cheapest in Brisbane. There are also plenty of eating-out places, if you don't feel like cooking. Tavern/pokies/tab - less than 2 min walk. You do not need a car if you stay here but if you do have a car there is plenty of room for parking (off street). The bus 100 (which again is 2 mins walk) will take you direct to the city - about 25-30 mins depending on the time of day. Also bus 101 will take you to the train station - this is even quicker into the city. Guest AccessI have recently added extra common areas - all new. 1. New lounge room with 55" TV - sound bar, DVD player, leather lounges, coffee machine, pop-corn maker, free tea, coffee, sweets, bar fridge, freezer if needed, tastefully decorated. 2. Shaded Pergola area - this is a long area with ample seating, electric barbeque and bar. Great for relaxing. You are also welcome to use my huge tuition room through the day for spreading out laptops and documents. Guests will have access to the laundry (free). Will always help with advice about the local area and how to get around etc. I live separately to the guests. The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is quiet, lots of nice trees and parks. Other Things to NoteThis room comfortably sleeps four - so is ideal for two couples or four adults. Also my goal is to provide the best, most affordable accommodation in Brisbane. I am a 22 year old, female, real estate agent, my partner (male) is a psychology student and our housemate (female) is a social sciences and editing student. I work long hours and the others study at home part time and head into university part time. We all enjoy heading out to the park to kick around the ball, eating a lovely meal together at the end of the day and lounging around the house listening to good music.     The SpaceWelcome! I am renting a comfortable room in my home in Corinda. Breakfast is included - either a cooked breakfast or cereals and toast. My chickens are free range so you will have beautiful eggs for breakfast!! ....whatever you prefer and depending on your morning routine. The kitchen is not available for cooking but other meals can be provided by negotiation or you can re-heat or do simple meal preparation. There are an outdoor outside space in the front yard to enjoy in summer and a lounge/dining area with space if you need a table for your notebook computer. My house is close to the Queensland Tennis Centre and only 20 minutes by train from the centre of Brisbane city. The room has a double bed, an overhead ceiling fan and/or heater as required. I have cotton sheets, cotton and wool blankets as well as feather pillows or non-allergenic as required. Corinda is 9kms from the centre of Brisbane and is on the main train line to the city. There is a large supermarket and some restaurants in the suburb. It is a 20 minute walk to the train station. There is easy to access all of the attractions of the city of Brisbane and Southbank. Pick up from the train station can be arranged by negotiation. Guest AccessGuests have the sole use of the bathroom in the house and are able to use the outside space for relaxing.     This lovely old queenslander has been recently renovated and the room available has its own ensuite. There is a lounge, kitchen, laundry and small balcony available for your use. The place has 11 ft ceilings with fans and air conditioning in the lounge. It is close to most amenities including buses and trains. The station is a block away and the train, which goes every 15 mins, will wisk you into Brisbane city in about 20 mins. There are takeaways, cafes, a supermarket, a pub, a club, a bottle shop, health centre, gym, and even a hardware should you have need of one. allwithin a few mins walk. This suburb is well established with tree lined streets and lots of older style houses unique to Queensland.

The NeighborhoodJamboree Heights is a beautiful quiet neighbourhood, family oriented that enjoys fantastic access to the whole SEQ area - you are 15 minutes drive from the CBD, 45-50 from the Gold Coast, 1 minute from a very big shopping mall (Mt Ommaney) and the DFO (Outlet retail) for fantastic shopping! Rocks Riverside Park is very close as well as Lone Pine Sanctuary which is an amazing spot where you can hug Koalas and enjoy the company of Kangaroos (you can freely hug them and feed them as they are tame!). Getting AroundThere is public transport to the city (about 20-30 minutes bus ride) and surrounding areas, as well as a train station about 3 kms away (Darra), however as it is suburbia - it is more convenient to have a car. There is a fantastic bikeway all the way from a street next to mine to the CBD, 90% of it completely seperate from both pedestrians and cars. Other Things to NoteWhile it is soundproofed to a very high degree, please refrain from making loud noises at night, slamming doors etc and do respect my wonderful neighbors who have little toddlers. Absolutely no parties, drugs or drunken behavior.

    Our place is home to our family of 3, close to Lone Pine Sanctuary, local parks and natural walks, 2 minutes walk to bus stand to city centre (45minutes) and Indooroopilly shopping centre (20 minutes). You’ll love the location, the outdoors space and the ambiance. We accommodate couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. We have a lovely Golden Retriever who is very friendly. Quiet and peaceful yet very convenient: 1 minute drive to a huge shopping mall, 15 minutes drive to CBD, and 5-10 minutes to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. 45 minutes easy drive to Gold Coast. You get the whole top floor of the house, which is completely separate from the lower floor and very private (and also completely sound proofed). A huge deck with stunning views to Pinjarra Hills and the west, A big living room with leather sofas (some wear but very comfy!), 55" UHD TV and a dining table, and a very big kitchen with a stove, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. Very happy to provide tips about the area, things to do etc. The NeighborhoodJamboree Heights is a quiet family oriented suburb with the benefit of being very close to everything thanks to excellent roads connecting to the rest of the area. You are very close to some great attractions like Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Rocks Riverside park, wild kangaroos and a very big shopping mall 1 minute drive away. 15 minutes drive to the CBD, or 25-30 minutes by bus. You can walk to Mt Ommaney Shopping centre which has Coles, Woolworths and Aldi as well as KMart and Big W and many other stores, as well as 3 different Sushi take aways and many more food options. There are many authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Darra that are fantastic and very cheap! Getting AroundIf you feel like driving to the coast - it's only 45-50 minutes drive on the M5, M2 and M1 at 100-110 km/h with only ONE traffic light! It's about 15 minutes easy drive to the CBD area (mostly freeway standard) and about 30 minutes on a bus (every 10-30 minutes depending on time of day) or by train from Darra station.

    The SpaceMy house is quite spacious and relaxing with an outdoor BBQ, entertainment area and 12m pool with a spa set in the seating area. Being out of the city makes the area nice and peaceful with conveniences such as supermarkets and coffee shops still within walking distance. Guest AccessYou will be able to access the entire house and yard except for my study room, bedroom and ensuite. Interaction with GuestsDepending on my work and other commitments I would be happy to take people hiking, camping, kayaking and sightseeing around South East Qld. Getting AroundHaving your own car (transport) will enable you to get around much easier (as is the case for the majority of Australia), but it is still possible to access great places easily from my place. There is a bus stop 100m away and cycle paths leading to the city centre.
