The SpaceStoickly built in the 1960s, this apartment building sings songs of retro charm. Brick external and internal walls are great insulators - cool in Summer and cosy and warm in Winter. The apartment is on the first floor of a six unit building. The first floor is below street level tucked away from the road making it peaceful and quiet.
The interior has a contemporary Nordic feel – light beech timber furniture pieces compliment the crafted timber parquetry flooring. Warm white walls welcome golden sunlight and plants add pops of fresh green.
The spacious bedroom has a queen size bed with a super comfortable pillow top mattress dressed with crisp quality linen.
Adjoining the bedroom, the bathroom includes a shower, toilet, vanity and fully equipped built in laundry with a front loading washer/ dryer. Towels are included.
The compact kitchen has a fridge, four burner gas cooktop, gas oven, microwave, electric kettle and toaster. Functional and fully equipped, the kitchen has all necessary cookware, crockery, cutlery & utensils to cook delicious meals.
Bright and airy, the living area has a dining table with chairs, a sofa, which easily clicks into a double bed and two single lounge seaters. This welcoming space opens onto a quant balcony perched over greenery.
All rooms have ample built in storage available to guests. There are ceiling fans in the living room & bedroom to make hot summer nights cool & comfortable. Guest AccessYou will have access to the entire apartment and balcony – enjoy and make yourself at home. Interaction with GuestsI will not be at the apartment. I will leave the key in a lock box with a code for you to help yourself to on arrival. I live just a twenty minute drive away and am reachable by mobile phone - I'm always happy to recommend restaurants, my favourite coffee stops, cultural attractions and local neighborhood tips.
