Large Family home looking out to Mangroves, Trees and Water. 5 Minute walk to Cafe Strip of Shops, Restaurants, Cafe and Local Pub. Walk the other way to the waters edge and bay. 15 minute walk to train station. There are lots of people walking and riding in our area. The house has 3 bedrooms, large kitchen and family/eating area. its a very peaceful, calm Mediterranean style home. You feel like you are out in the country but only half an hour to Brisbane City. One Hour to Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

The NeighborhoodI love the peacefulness and watching horses gallop past my window! Being so close to the city and to both coasts and Brisbane Islands as well!! You can catch the bus to the ferry terminals and see the islands or drive to the train station and catch a train into the city. Or take a bus/train to Byron Bay or the Gold & Sunshine Coasts. Whatever is your fancy! :) Getting Around Public transport is good and i'm happy to give you a lift as well :) Other Things to NoteI do have a dog a German Shepherd named Hunter, he is my world and my baby!! He is very loving kind natured dog, as you will soon see! :)

The SpaceBeautiful open plan home, the 180 degree views from each level are amazing and ensure you capture the cool sea breezes. The house is three levels - top level is entertaining, dining, with a pool and 2 decks to relax on, the middle level has 3 x bedrooms (master = King Bed, Bed 2 = Double Bunks, Bed 3 = Twin Bed. Note downstairs playroom has a double fold out bed) and 2 x bathrooms (master with ensuite) and the bottom level is all about the kids it has the big playroom (with xbox, Wii, table tennis, games etc) leading out to the backyard for the kids to play as well as another bathroom, seperate toilet & laundry. Each level is private and gives you the space a family often needs. The house is rented fully furnished and unoccupied, guests will have access to use all of the houses facilities, including pool, Foxtel/Cable, bikes, sporting equipment etc (Internet access is not included) We will not be at the house during a guests stay. Manly is a fantastic neighborhood, nestled on the shores of the beautiful Moreton Bay, and is the ideal place for families and couples alike. With fantastic parks, ocean & public pools, great transport (train/bus), shops and restaurants. There is always something to do with weekly (Sunday) art & craft markets as well as Jan Power Farmers Markets on the 3rd Sat of the month and free Movies in the Park on the 1st Sat night of the month. Manly is also a great place to get out and get active; with great walking/running paths on the foreshore, excellent roads and tracks (check out Strava) if your into riding, and local lap pool for swimming. There are also plenty of clubs that welcome casual members - triathlon / cycling / running etc. There is also a local Parkrun on Saturdays and plenty of bootcamps on the foreshores as well, all welcome casual members and we would be happy to put you in contact with any of these clubs. The marina also is a boaties heaven, choose from anyone of the clubs (RQYS, Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club, Wynnum Manly Yacht Club) if you into sailing, fishing or just want to get out on the bay, most of the clubs will have casual sailing and many yachts often need crew so contact a club. If you advise us of the time we will pick you up from Ormiston station. • We suggest that if intending to make good use of the trains/buses/ferries you look into organizing a visitors GoCard. It makes travel much cheaper and more convenient. At the end of your stay you have the option to return the card and get a refund for any unused deposit. (refer the "Visitors Information" on the Translink website). We also have 2 GoCards available for loan during your stay. It's a 10min walk to the train station and a 50 min train trip will take you into the heart of the Brisbane CBD, and the cultural riverside areas such as Southbank. From the Brisbane CBD trains and bus services can take you to the International and Domestic airports Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. Street parking is available at the house. You'll probably wake to the sounds of our 'pets' - the local family of magpies, butcher birds and any other bird life! The room has plenty of cupboard space with room to hang clothes and fold away in 'shelves' and store bag on separate shelf or on floor in cupboard. The guest room has its own bathroom fully equipped with shower over full-sized bathtub, with basin, and toilet. The guest room is on the upstairs level of a two-storey home. I live in a quiet leafy suburb 40 minutes from Brisbane and the Gold Coast by train. There are walking paths in the parks and a 8 km walk along the water front 500 meters from the front door. Central to everything but with the touch of the native Australian wildlife too.

We are close to shops, clubs, pubs and restaurants. We live in a quiet street and our home backs onto a creek. The backyard is full of many native animals, possums, kookaburras. If you are wanting to wake up to the sound of birds it is guaranteed in our shelter. Getting AroundWe are 500 metres to Birkdale Station and the bus line runs from the end of our Street. Pick up from the Airport depending on time of arrival at a cost of $25. The SpaceThe property is newly renovated. It is situated on 2 1/2 acres surrounded by vegetation yet only 25 minutes from the City. It offers accommodation comfortably for four. The NeighborhoodRansome is a semi rural suburb located approx 25 mins from Brisbane City, 10 mins from the waterfront at Manly and Wellington Point and 20 minutes from the airport. Getting AroundRansome is an ideal central location for the many tourist activities Brisbane has to offer. There is a bus which stops at the end of our street which has buses going to both Capalaba and Carindale, changing at Carindale bus depot for buses onto the City. The local train station is a 10 minute drive away and provides a regular service to the City. Carindale Westfield shopping is a 15 minute drive away. For sport facilities the Sleeman Centre is a 10 minute drive. There are local bush walks within waking distance. It has one bedroom plus a second larger space with a second Queen sized pull out futon. * We have a portable cot and also a small bed we can set up for young children if requested (no additional charge for bedding). Our maximum occupancy is 4 including children and babies. * Basic kitchenette with bar fridge, convection microwave (that can grill and bake), hot plates, kettle, toaster and rice cooker. * We provide breakfast supplies for about 2 days to get you started. We normally provide full cream milk and white bread. Please advise if you want something different. Koalas! and over 200 species of birds recorded in our neighbourhood, we also gets lots of other animal visitors. Cheap and Cheerful accommodation. It's not fancy but it's got everything you need. Please note we do have lots of wildlife here so please take a torch/flashlight with you at night as it's really dark and you don't want to step on any surprises. Getting Around350m to the train station which takes approximately 45minutes to brisbane city (lots of our trains have free wifi now). 1 hour drive to Gold Coast theme parks and 1.5 hour drive to Sunshine Coast. 30 min drive to Brisbane Airport. 1.5km walk to shops and restaurants and supermarket. We have Thai, noodles, 2 x fish & chips, 2 x Indian, Mexican, modern Australian, German, American ribs, Gourmet burgers, Pizza and great coffee cafés 1.5km walk away. Very good food, we are very spoilt for choice! 10 minutes drive to water taxi (20 mins) to beautiful North Stradbroke Island. Brisbane's best kept secret. It's easy to get to the water taxi by train too. You can survive without a car here but most people hire a car mainly because taxi's are so expensive from the airport and the train from the airport takes forever. There is a local car hire place at Cleveland with great rates if you want to just hire a car for a day or two. Other Things to Note* All people must be accounted for in the booking. I don't charge for children under 2 BUT until Airbnb sorts out the booking system you need to include them, we cannot go over our occupancy of 4 including babies (currently it is setup so they are not included in the booking) I will do a manual adjustment on the booking. Please let me know if you would like a cot (with sides) or a little bed (with no sides) made up for your child/children. * We have a well behaved black Labrador dog. She lives inside our house (not flat) but if we are outside she will be with us. If you are scared of dogs please let us know. She will be upset if she doesn't get to meet you but if you are worried we can put her on a lead. She doesn't jump up or bite and she loves children and being told to 'sit' in lots of languages. Sorry we do not accept other pets, i have worked hard to keep the flat pet free and intend it to keep it that way. * We have a washing machine in our main house that you are welcome to use but will need to ask first so i can let you in (before 8pm). I provide laundry liquid free of charge. * We don't have a clothes dryer but you can use our patio to dry clothes if its wet or there is a nearby laundromat that cost about $3 for a load. I only use the laundromat about 3 times a year so it's not worth buying a dryer. * We have tried to make our house as sustainable as possible so please conserve water, recycle and be energy conscious as much as possible. This helps us keep our prices affordable. * Please don't buy bottled water! Our tap water comes from a nearby island, it's filtered through sand over hundreds of years and is some of the best on the planet. I keep a bottle of tap water in the fridge for guests that you can refill. Spend your money on other important things like beer. * We do have quite a few herbs/vegetables that we share when possible so please ask me if you need something. * Security Deposit - For new airbnb users. This doesn't get charged upfront anymore, it's just there in case i need to make a claim (have never had to do one in 3 years hosting!) So please don't let it put you off.

The SpaceOur home is a 19th Century Colonial cottage in semi-rural surroundings with natural timber floors and walls and a fine collection of period furniture. Cool in summer/cosy in winter We are situated 2 minutes from train station and in easy reach of Brisbane CBD (50 minutes by train or 35 minutes by car). We are also only a 1 hour drive to Gold Coast so there is plenty to do and see. In easy walking and cycling distance you will find the sandy beach at Wellington Point with an island that can be reached by foot at low tide, the picturesque harbour towns of Cleveland and Manly, and a boat ride away lies North Stradbroke island, famed for it's great walks, surfing beaches and seeing dolphins, turtles and sharks. Also in the area are the Moreton Bay islands, a few koala hotspots and the fertile Redlands. We can provide you with bikes and plenty of ideas! The two rooms are situated at the back of the house with their own enclosed veranda and own separate bathroom. You will have access to washing facilities, WiFi, TV and an extensive collection of books should you wish to spend some time relaxing on the veranda. We do ask for non-smokers and that you do not bring any pets with you. We are usually flexible regarding arrival and departure times and these can be arranged to suit us both.       The SpacePrivate relaxing space with restored or original antique furniture. The house was built in 1919 and so the decor reflects the 1900's. The 1924 grenola couch fits nicley with the 1936 radio and a mid 1800's rug binds it all together (wall mounted 55" flat screen is new though!) The fridge is a painted chalk board and i update the art on it regularly. Always renovating the space. Always collecting interesting items in my travels. The Manly Creative Markets are on in the park opposite every Sunday, and the Jan Powers' markets are on every second Saturday morning. You are a 5 min walk to the waters edge of Moreton Bay, which you can go sailing on in a yacht for free every Wednesday afternoon... just ask about this on arrival. We live in a quiet neighbourhood, 10 minute walk to local shops, several restaurants, hotel and public transport. Includes off street parking space. TOURIST ATTRACTIONS You are 1 hour from the Gold Coast theme parks. 5 min walk to waterfront where you can fish or take a stroll along the esplanade. 8 min drive to Wellington Point with jetty for more fishing and walk out to King Island at low tide.       The SpaceMoreton Bay Beach Lodge is a beautiful waterfront Lodge, less than 1 k from Raby Bay Harbour and all it's lovely waterside bars and restaurants and Marina. This spacious 2 bedroom lodge overlooks Moreton Bay, with the gentle bay waves lapping at your feet. This accommodation is separate from the main dwelling and is very private and spacious. The galley kitchen looks onto the large open plan living area which has 2 sofa beds and a dining table for 8 - along of course with excellent views. This overlooks the superb outdoor entertaining area and the fabulous pool which has a spa jet seating area. The views over the water from this villa are incredible, perfect for long lazy lunches or sundowner cocktails. You can even drop a fishing line off the deck. You might never want to leave! Guest AccessThe master bedroom has a queen size bed and the 2nd bedroom has a set of bunk beds. There is also a double bed. There is a bathroom with shower (wheelchair accessible) and a shared, fully equipped laundry. There is also off-street parking. The kitchen is modern with a large fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher and there is also a fabulous Webber type barbecue. Interaction with GuestsI live upstairs which has been made completely separate to the lodge for your convenience and privacy. The NeighborhoodThe Heritage listed Grandview hotel is a 2 minute walk away and is a fabulous spot for dining and entertainment. The award winning Courthouse restaurant is an ideal location for weddings is 500 metres away. A short 10 minute walk will have you at Toondah Harbour where the ferries daily depart for the incredibly beautiful North Stradbroke Island. A short 10 minute walk will put you at Stephanie's luxury spa for that much needed massage or The Harbour Day Spa located 1.5 km away. Both these Spa's are rated very highly in Queensland.
