We live a 3 minute walk from the beach in the seaside location of Brighton. There are many cafes, restaurants and shops within walking distance. There are bus routes nearby and the train station is a short walk from our house. From there it is a 20 minutes train ride to Adelaide city centre. We live in a 2 storey townhouse with a spacious outdoor BBQ area which we love to use. We have 2 living areas - the one upstairs is next to the guest room and guest bathroom so visitors are self-contained. We do not have children but have a friendly cat called Simba. We are a pretty relaxed household!

It's a completely separate building so you have plenty of privacy. It can comfortably accommodate a couple or can sleep a family (with a bit less living space). There is an open plan dining, kitchen and study area with queen sofa bed. In the bedroom, there's queen bed and a single folding bed. It has a separate bathroom with a basin, toilet and shower. We are happy to speak to you in English, Latvian or Russian. ¸„.-•~¹°"ˆ˜¨LOCATION¨˜ˆ"°¹~•-.„¸ We live in a quiet neighbourhood in suburban Adelaide, about 30 minutes drive from the airport and the centre of the city. It's 3 minutes drive to the beach and 2 minutes drive to the largest shopping mall in South Australia. McLaren Vale wine region is only a 30-minute drive away. ¸„.-•~¹°"ˆ˜¨ACCESSIBILITY¨˜ˆ"°¹~•-.„¸ The apartment is on the ground floor and guests have direct access from a dedicated driveway and garage. Wheelchair access will be fine to the apartment however inside the bathroom is too small for a wheelchair to enter. Door handles are at 1100mm and light switches higher than that. ¸„.-•~¹°"ˆ˜¨PETS¨˜ˆ"°¹~•-.„¸ Pets are not accepted - we don't have any grass area for them. Guest AccessGuests will have their own access via the driveway and garage. The backyard is shared with us. Our shed / storage is under the same roof with the unit and has a separate entrance. Interaction with GuestsWe work mainly from home but tend to be in and out a lot (school and extracurricular activities, travel and working with clients). Usually, someone is home at night and always available from the phone in the apartment or via text/email. Guests should also feel free to knock on the kitchen door if there's any help needed. The NeighborhoodWe love the location of our neighbourhood - right between the beach and the shopping centre. We're also on a small street so there's very little traffic passing by. But this is an average suburb in Adelaide (not a tourist location) so going to the shopping mall or beach will require a walk or a short drive. Getting AroundThere's a public bus stop very close that goes to Marion Shopping Centre and a train station that goes to the city. But be careful when planning your time in Adelaide - generally, we recommend hiring a car if you intend to travel around. However, there is absolutely no need to have a car as public transport via bus, train and cab are at your doorstep, ensuring a restful holiday. Bedroom 1 features a king bed, en suite with bath and bidet, large walk-in wardrobe and TV. Bedroom 2 features private access to the alfresco BBQ area, a queen bed and 2 clothes hanging spaces. Bedroom 3 is huge and contains a queen bed, TV, large wardrobe and a seating area with lounge. Bedroom 4 is equipped for children and has a bunk bed, games and toys.           The SpaceThe house consists of two areas, the main house and the attached "West Wing" which can be rented separately (see separate AIRBnB listings) or as a whole. Individual rooms with queen or double beds and shared facilities may also be rented if the whole house isn't booked. See the separate AirBnB listings. The main house has a full size kitchen with gas stove, full size fridge, bathroom with double vanities, large mirrors, heat lamps and separate WC and shower room. A living room with large sofa, 42" TV with DVD player, Bluetooth soundbar and large dining table opens off the kitchen. There's a slightly out of tune piano for those who wish to relive 1955, the year my late parents came to live here. The West Wing has one bedroom with queen bed, a separate living room with TV and sofa bed (suitable for children or up to two people who don't mind sleeping on a sofa bed), and a bathroom with full size bath and separate WC. The West Wing shares the main kitchen and laundry with guests staying in the main area of the house. The leafy backyard features the Dionysus Bar under the shade of a large old tree with gazebo for year round shelter, a gas BBQ, rainwater tanks and a 1970's Yamaha Electone organ is you're so inclined. There is off street parking in the driveway (which doubles as an excellent cricket pitch) and plenty of on street parking. Guest AccessIf you choose to rent the whole house, you have access to the entire property except the garage (which is full of my worthless junk which I'll get rid of one day.) If you just require the main house (with the 3 bedrooms) without the West Wing, there may be guests in the West Wing who will share the kitchen and laundry. And the Dionysus Bar, a great place to meet new people. Individual bedrooms may be available for rent for up to two guests per room if the whole house is not rented (see separate AirBnB listings for each room). I'm always a phone call away. The NeighborhoodWarradale was built on vineyard land in the early 50's, with a lot of the homes built for war veterans. My parents moved to this house in 1955 and lived here for the rest of their lives. Many of the old homes are now long gone, and the Great Aussie Backyard is a dying breed. I'm delighted to be able you an opportunity to an experience that's becoming harder to find by the day. Getting AroundWe're well served for public transport around here... There is a train station an easy seven minute walk away which will have you in the CBD of Adelaide in 22 minutes or near Brighton beach in 5 minutes. Located in the southern suburbs of Adelaide and close distance from Flinders Medical Centre, Flinders University, Westfield/Marion Shopping Centre, Adelaide Aquatics Centre as well as the best beaches in Adelaide! Ella House offers three well sized bedrooms, the master has an ensuite with double shower and a window in the ceiling for natural light. There is a second bathroom to service the other two bedrooms. Bedrooms one and two both have a queen bed and built in robes providing ample shelving and hanging space. Bedroom three offers a single bed, pull out trundle (on request) and a desk for our guests that need a space to do some work or study. Linen is supplied to all beds including electric blankets and towels. The fully functional open plan kitchen offers a stone bench top, a large walk in pantry, stainless steel appliances including a gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave, coffee pod machine and dishwasher. Shopping is plentiful at Marion and Glenelg. The McLaren Vale wineries are just to the south of us. Getting AroundThe train station is 10 minutes walk away, buses are 2 minutes away. The airport is 20 minutes by car and I can collect you if possible. Taxis from the airport cost about $30 AU.

                Quietly located in the beachside suburb of Brighton this spacious and original beach house villa offers space and tranquility. A private getaway, so close to all facilitites. Within the main home there are 3 oversized bedrooms consisting of either 2 Queen Beds and one King Bedroom or 2 Queen Bedrooms and one Bedroom with 2 X Long Singles. There are two bathrooms, the main bathroom with dual showers and the second a two way en suite with bath which leads out to the decked pavilion and services the deluxe studio adjacent. The lounge has leather sofas and French doors leading into the large kitchen area that has a distinct casual beach feel. Adjacent to the kitchen is the large decked entertaining area, complete with lounges, breakfast table and BBQ facilities. A great place to sit and relax day or evening. A beach shower is available for a rinse after a swim. The 4th separate bedroom is spacious and private with a queen sized French bed, flat screen TV and split system air conditioning/heating. The pavilion and studio overlook established tranquil gardens. The main house has polished floorboards throughout, evaporative cooling and wood combustion heating. White shutters feature throughout the beach house. Off street parking for two cars and a high fence offers privacy and security. Perfectly positioned Sea La Vie is 60 seconds walk to the beach and 60 seconds walk to train/bus transport to the City of Adelaide some 12 Km away. A 20 minute taxi ride from the airport at approximately $25.00 Sea La Vie is pet friendly upon booking. Please be sure to advise us if you have pet guests. Bedroom 1 features a king bed and en suite with bath and bidet, huge walk-in wardrobe and TV. Bedroom 2 features private access to the alfresco BBQ area, a queen bed and 2 clothes hanging spaces.
