Guest AccessThe cottage has been classically decorated, and comprises of four comfortable, good sized bedrooms (main with en suite), large country dining room / lounge area with picture windows and French doors that lead to the beautiful outdoor, sandstone paved, alfresco area. Kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with shower/bath facilities and ample off street parking for your cars and boat. Ideal for families, or a catch up with a close group of friends Enjoy a movie night on the big plasma TV in the family room or watch TV in bed in bedroom one and two. Ceiling fans are installed in all the bedrooms. We can supply linen and towels for you at small extra cost of $30 per double bed and $15 per single bed per stay, or you must bring your own. All the beds have pillows with mattress protectors and quilts with covers. We offer free linen and towels for the first two weeks in December and the last two weeks in January ! Minimum 4 Day Booking. Interaction with Guests Our guest will be able to contact us anytime during there stay should they have any requests or minor problems. We will always make sure that they enjoy there stay. In the winter enjoy a day of whale watching then warm yourself by the open fire with a glass of a local red and good company. You’ll really feel like you’ve had a holiday after you’ve stayed at the Gainsborough Cottage. Getting AroundAn hour and fifteen minutes drive from Adelaide airport, rent a car or catch a bus or a shuttle, there are many leaving regularly for the Fleurieu peninsula. Other Things to NoteAn extra fee of $100 for cleaning will be asked to be paid with 50 per cent of rental fee on reservation, and the balance 7 days before moving in.

The SpaceOur BEACH HOUSE just one hour south of ADELAIDE is available to international guests to enjoy beautiful Goolwa Beach and Dunes. Walking, swimming or surfing. Hear the waves crashing just 100m away. Large block 750sqm and 3 bedroom house on posts with large front balcony overlooking 2ha council reserve. Great to chill out. Two large living areas, two bathrooms and one with spa bath. Normally you bring your own linen but we can supply to visitors. All other bedding and pillows are at house which has cd and ipod connection to stereo, dvd, TV, split system Air cond, microwave and fan forced oven and fully furnished. You'll need a hire car so that you can travel along the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula coastline. Our Japanese friends were even lucky to make whale sightings. The SpaceThe house itself has three bedrooms, two with queen beds and the other with single bunk beds. It has entertaining spaces out the front as well as the back for those BBQs on the back deck or pre dinner drinks or morning coffee on the front deck. Separate dining room and lounge within the house and one bathroom with separate laundry. Pets are welcome too. This house is pet friendly so no family member has to stay home. Fully fenced rear yard. Guest AccessBed linen and towels are provided for all beds and there will be some breakfast provisions such as milk in the fridge and bread in the freezer plus some bacon and eggs. Interaction with GuestsThe keys will be left for you at the property in a spot revealed to you once payment for your stay has been made. The NeighborhoodFrom our beach house you can enjoy the many activities/sites that the Fleurieu has to offer. From bike riding to bush walking or surfing & fishing your adventures really are endless. Make sure you check out the weekend markets at the Wharf & for dining out we recommend the Aquacaf, Hectors on the Wharf or why not try the Currency Creek Winery just down the road. The SpaceEach room opens up to a long sunroom which in turn connects with the decking and garden courtyard. A moon gate invites you to a quiet garden with citrus trees, native and imported plants. If the season is right and my gardening up-to-scratch, you are welcome to use the herbs, fruit, and vegetables which may be growing. Amenities include, three bicycles, a tandem kayak, fishing rods, undercover parking, and a small sound system. There is an undercover eating area with a barbecue which can be wheeled out into the open for cooking. Our house is a 10 minute walk away from Goolwa town centre for great food and coffee and drinks. We are also a 20 minute walk to the beach and enjoy the wonderful views, great food and coffee at Cafe Bombora. Guest AccessAmenities include, three bicycles, a tandem kayak, fishing rods, undercover parking, DVD player, small sound system and a television. Interaction with GuestsWe send messages prior to arrival to ensure we have preparations right. Then, we like to check that all is well shortly after arrival and at some stage during your stay. Usually we do this by phone. We welcome calls at any time. The NeighborhoodOur house is located in the back streets of the town on a quiet street and hidden behind a front yard with plenty of bushes and native shrubs. The feature of the house is it's focus on the courtyard through full length windows and sliding doors, and a moon-gate which invites the visitor to explore the garden beyond. From our house it is a 1km walk through streets and river frontage and to the old Goolwa wharf. Stop there for coffee, beer, wine, a meal, or catch a river cruise. From there it is just a few minutes walk away from the Goolwa town centre for great food and coffee and drinks. The Goolwa beach is a few minutes drive or a 20 minute walk. Enjoy the wonderful views, surfing, swimming, etc as well as the great food and coffee at Cafe Bombora. We have bikes available for those who wish to ride around and explore the lake, beaches, island, estuaries and township.

The SpaceGlamorous this is not. It is a nice little beach house in a good location, and a wonderful area to relax. Great for body or board surfing or walking at Goolwa Beach, easy car access to the restaurants and cafes of Goolwa and the attractions of the South Coast. Guest AccessWe have left check-in and -out flexible, but we would prefer a check-in after 2 pm and a check-out by midday. If that doesn't suit, please ask for different times. In BR 1 there is a queen bed & a bunk with single beds above & below. In BR 2 there is a bunk with a double below & a single above. In the alcove there is a couch with foam cushions that can sleep a child. Interaction with GuestsWe will need to make arrangements to hand-over and return the keys. Otherwise, it's your own time. The SpaceSea Shack is a modern Family Home with views to the ocean, river and hills. Spacious open plan, large dining and living areas, the kitchen is fully equipped, with dishwasher, and microwave.The large front deck offers views to the coast, while the rear deck offers the hills view. Floor to ceiling windows with glass sliding doors to the decks, light filled rooms. R/c air-conditioner upstairs. Main bedroom (Q) is upstairs with an en suite and walk in robe, and plenty of space. Downstairs bedroom (Q) with views over garden, the 3rd bedroom has single bunks for 4. The lounge area downstairs has a double sofa bed. Separate Bathroom and Laundry also on the ground floor. Outside - the yard is fenced with an outdoor setting within the garden, great for kids. Electric BBQ available and undercover parking for up to 6 cars and room for the boat. The House can accommodate up to 10 people, with two living areas and plenty of room inside and out, the house is a great holiday getaway and very comfortable. Should you have any special request i.e. portable cot or something else, just ask and we will certainly assist you. Guest AccessGuests have access to the whole house, with plenty of storage space available for guests. Plenty of car parking on site. Guests do not have access to the rear shed. The township of Goolwa is a 15 minute walk from the house. Large Woolworths supermarket and speciality shops located in town. The house is close to everything, but still quiet and relaxing. Visit the many ocean beaches, great for surfing, fishing, sightseeing, walking and bike tracks, winery's, shopping, scenic flights, historic sites, cockle train, many restaurants, cafes, markets and much more to see and do, its all here at Goolwa. Getting AroundGoolwa Beach is just over 1 hour south of Adelaide. There is a bus service from the city of Adelaide to Goolwa and the surrounding areas. Taxis also are available in the area. Other Things to NoteBase price of $110.00 per night for 2 people. $20 .00 for each additional 2 people up to 10 people Minimum stay 2 nights. Check in time is 2pm and check out time is 11am. The SpaceThe views, the decks with daybeds and the separate lounges w TVs and DVDs all make for a relaxing shack holiday. Suitable for 4-6 people for weekends and longer for small families. Outdoor hot and cold shower is very convenient. Our apologies, the steep stairs and decks are not suitable for crawling babies and toddlers. Showers only. Guest AccessThe whole beach shack is yours! We have a few cupboards w our stuff put away. All linen (except towels) now included. If you have any special requests such as beach towels, boogie boards or beach chairs, we can arrange for you. The NeighborhoodThe tiny township of Goolwa is always bustling w festivals and markets w cute cafes and pubs. Goolwa beach and the walk to Bombora cafe is really special. The owner is German and a lovely host. We are also really close to the Murray Mouth and the Coorong! If you have a 4 wheel drive car, you can take the sand road behind Bombora Cafe and drive along the beach! You are close to surf beaches including Middleton and great cycling tracks. There's wineries and so many attractions all listed in our booklet or just ask us! Getting AroundWe are also really close to the Coorong! If you have a 4 wheel drive car, you can take the sand road behind Bombora Cafe to the Murray Mouth. The fishing is excellent. You can also go in any car over to Hindmarsh Island and see the Murray Mouth, just follow signs! We recommend a car to get about but bikes are great as the bike trail runs along Underwood Ave to Middleton and all the way to Victor Harbor. Adelaide is 1.15hrs away and driving via McLaren Vale or the hills through Strathalbyn are both interesting drives. Other Things to NoteNo children under 2. No pets. No smoking. Fines will be incurred. Steep stairs and balconies!! Not suitable for very young children. (I used to be relaxed about this but we have had some terrible damage of late, sorry) Smoke outside if you have to!!!
