The SpaceCharacter filled 1918 bungalow with charm and all the comforts to make your stay a delight. Your light-filled private bedroom has a superb double bed & there are two lounge areas, complete with large screen TV and sound system. Your room includes double full-length mirrors, ample hanging and drawer space. Guests are provided with towels and toiletries and personal hairdryer in the top drawer of your dresser. Both bedroom & lounge have stunning views on to a shady palm fringed garden & outdoor entertainment area. Easy private access is provided for late night arrivals. Smoking is allowed only out in the outdoor lounge, and please use the ashtrays provided. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Cheers, Elizabeth Guests have access to their own lounge area and can step straight out onto a shady outdoor dining, lounge and palm fringed garden. A second lounge area provides a spacious reading/chill room with a large library of books. A gourmet kitchen is the hub of our house and includes dish washer, where guests can cook, eat and enjoy a relaxing conversation and a glass of wine. There's kitchen cupboard space for guests who want to do their own cooking, and you are welcome to use our condiments and fresh organic herbs from our garden. A spotlessly clean bathroom (complete with spa), and separate toilet & laundry facilities are shared. Guests are welcome to: - wifi - tea/coffee/sugar/milk/condiments/fruit etc - street-side parking (no time limits) - laundry facilities - a large library for lazy or avid readers to enjoy. You can also enjoy time with our two cats. If possible, I can greet guests at the airport; its just 15 minutes away! I find most guests enjoy our help in getting know Adelaide over a glass of wine or a coffee. I'ma true Adelaidian, I know my city very well and can advise you on the best day trips and night life to make your stay memorable. Whether its shopping, cafes and restaurants, bars and pubs - I have local guide books, booklets and maps, including regional wineries, beaches and other attractions. I can help with info about public transport and answer any questions re getting around. Cheltenham is a great place to stay to experience Adelaide.l We are well serviced by public transport with train, bus and tram links. There are cute coffee shops & village shopping along the train route. The western beaches are simply minutes away by train. We're only 15 mins from Adelaide Airport. Local shopping is a short walk to the end of our street. All you need is there: supermarket, chemist, speciality produce, liquor store, cafe and take-away shops. Plus a delightful Sushi Train restaurant as well. Cheltenham is central to the best authentic Vietnamese cafes & restaurants in Adelaide, and so close to western beaches. Port Road is a multicultural haven for different cuisine restaurants - Italian, Indian, African, Thai, Vietnamese and more! Getting around is so easy. The city just so close and public transport is a breeze - a short 4-minute walk to the train & you're there in 15 minutes. Train and Tram lines run to several beaches as well. Free bike hire is available nearby from our local council and some great bike lanes and rides. If you are travelling by car, the roads are easy to navigate and wide and straight. We are so close to western beaches! Semaphore, Largs Bay, historic Port Adelaide and Grange. You can cruise with dolphins on the Port River, check out great local pubs and shopping. Semaphore beach hosts an old fashioned Fun Fair Park with carousel and sideshows. If your passion is Cricket, Australian Rules Football or Soccer matches, we are effortlessly close to both stadiums by public transport. Guest AccessGuests have access to the whole house. Free wifi. So easy, the best way to get into the city. Trains are frequent, un-crowded and comfortable. Buses run in all directions, just a 10 minute walk. You will need to pick up the keys from our home in Medindie. It is a 9.2km (18mins) drive from the airport to Medindie and 14.3km (23mins) from Medindie to Semaphore Park. The SpaceThere is "no short walk to the beach". Neither is there a road between you and the dunes. This hidden gem is right on the beach and just 20 minutes from the CBD. The two bedrooms can sleep up to seven people. It has new furniture throughout and bathrooms located upstairs and downstairs. Guest AccessThe property is located between cosmopolitan Henley Square, historic Semaphore and has easy access to Westfield Shopping Centre.

The SpaceThis is a very quiet section of the Adelaide metropolitain beaches which is surprising considering that it is arguably the nicest beachfront and still has the benefit of conserved sand hills. The open plan kitchen, lounge dining area leads to a large balcony through double glazed doors, which hosts a four burner barbecue, small table and chairs. The modern kitchen boasts Miele appliances and stone benchtops and will please the most discerning cook. The dining table will seat eight if a dinner party is in order and the lounge area has a leather lounge suite to relax on whilst viewing the big screen plasma with FOXTEL or simply listening to music through the Denon sound system. Ducted reverse cycle airconditioning makes your stay pleasant in all weather conditions. Both bedrooms have queen size beds, mirrored built-in robes, flat screen digital televisions and individual bathrooms. We can provide a trundle single bed if required. Guest AccessA 20 minute drive will land you in the city or if a quieter shopping experience is required then a two minute drive will see you at West Lakes Mall. There are numerous eating experiences available both here and up and down the coast(URL HIDDEN) Getting AroundWe recommend you have a car but there are bus stops 20 meters away on Military Rd if public transport is needed. The Largs Pier hotel is beautifully restored and provides sumptuous meals. There are a few other cafes, and shops around the corner. Semaphore shopping district is a short 5 minute drive. Located on the corner of the Esplanade and Semaphore Road, the foreshore is watched over by the ‘Semaphore Angel’ positioned on top of the War Memorial Clock which was built in 1925 after the First World War. The first Christmas Carnival was held in 1920 to raise the money to pay for this Memorial Clock. Highlights of the foreshore include the Waterslide Complex, the Fort Glanville train rides during the warmer months, an historic carousel, the Semaphore Summer Carnival and of course the beach and jetty. There are also some great shops, cafes and restaurants on nearby Semaphore Road.

      We have a three bedroom house with one large dedicated room for homestay guests. The available room is 7m x 5m and has its own heating/cooling, bar fridge, couch, television, internet, coffee table, desk, microwave and kettle. It comes with a breakfast and tea and coffee provided in the room. It is ideal for a student wishing to live and study in Adelaide. We are 5 minutes walk to the train which takes 20 minutes to get you to the centre of Adelaide. We are also 10 minutes walk to the beach and a high street with cafes and shops. I am a single father with two children aged 4 and 6 whom stay with me 50% of the time. We have one bathroom and a moderate size kitchen with dining table. There is also a back deck and backyard. It is a nice place to live and we love having guests and helping out as we can.

The balcony is great to have a glass of wine while watching boats and ships pass under the shimmering sunset. On a clear day you can see the other side of the Spencer Gulf. Its a lovely long strip of beach, stroll for hours or watch it from the hammock on the balcony. There are two bathrooms (one ensuite), each with shower, toilet and vanity. There is even a stunning beach landscape mural in the bathroom painted by Adelaide artist (and son of the owners) Ned Bajic. Step through the front door and into a world of artistic ambiance. This fully furnished cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The living areas are warm and welcoming, the generously sized kitchen is well equipped, and there are two double bedrooms. A sofa bed is included for an additional guest. Guests are also encouraged to make the most of the delightful private rear garden, complete with a bar and barbeque. Two smart new bicycles are included and may be used to explore the surrounding area. In winter, the cottage is a cosy and inviting hide-away; in summer, it offers a welcome respite from the heat. The cottage is close to the beautiful and unspoilt beach at Semaphore where you can also enjoy a ride on the historic carousel. Semaphore Road is alive with popular cafes and charming shops.                   The SpaceOur home is warm and welcoming. It is full of light and very cool in the summer months as a result of the building type. The rooms are spacious and provide more than enough room for two people. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a dresser and coat hanger for your clothes and other things. The house is filled with quirky pictures and photos as well as souvenirs from our travels. You are welcome to use as much or as little of the house as you like. There are two bikes available for use at your leisure ( Westlakes shore is 2 mins and Semaphore is 7 mins, Port Adelaide is also 7 mins by bike). There is also ample car parking space in the drive way (4 cars). We are very friendly and love to meet new people. Please note we have a very sweet cat. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the whole house, the yard, front and back and the bikes as well as the barbeque if they wish to use it. Please bring your own towels for showering and swimming. The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is very quiet- you will certainly be able to get a good nights rest. There is also a beautiful wetland at the end of the street. We have excellent access to public transport and to the medical centre. There is also a supermarket near by (10 mins walk). There is a small family park 1 mins walk from our home and there are several churches in the suburb (if you would like more information about them please contact us). It's a lovely place to live! Getting AroundThere is one bus that services Old Port road (118) (stop 34a) which will take you directly into the city (about a 45 minute ride). This is 2 mins walk from our house. There is one bus service on New Port road (150) (stop 34) and this takes you directly into the city also (about 30 mins). This is 7 minutes walk from our house. Walking a little further (15 mins from our house) will take you to the Alberton train station and a train will take you directly into the city (17 mins). Other Things to NotePlease note that we have a cat. She is very sweet and loving, but can get a bit scared of strangers. She is an indoors only cat- so please be careful not to let her out. If cats are a problem for you then please let Danijel know- he will be able to place her elsewhere in the house. If cats don't bother you too much but you don't want her in your stuff (she will try with all her might!), then please be sure to close your door.
