The SpaceSouthern Ocean Lookout is a modern two storey house, with a large balcony overlooking magnificent sea views. Whilst only a young building of 16 years, it has recently been renovated in 2016 to maximise the socializing space upstairs looking out over the sunset sea. Situated on a natural bushland block where the wild kangaroos and emus graze. Close to cafe, museum, shop and sporting club. 3 bedrooms, sleeps maximum 10 guests. We have two queen bedrooms overlooking the bay and the third bedroom has a double bed and one set of single bunks. There is also a queen fold out sofa upstairs. Fully equipped kitchen makes self catering a breeze, with large fridge/freezer, gas stove top and oven, Family Q Weber BBQ and outdoor setting, undercover and overlooking the sea. There is also a private courtyard at the rear. Large turning circle and ample space for cars and boats. Wood fire in the lounge for romantic winter nights, air conditioning to keep cool in the summer. Boat hire available on site to holders of a boat licence. I like to meet the guests and ensure they have everything they need. Shelly Beach is a short 400m walk down the driveway, a beautiful spot to enjoy the afternoon sun. Farm Beach is only 6km away where you can drive onto the beach for a days picnic or launch a boat. Mt Dutton Bay jetty and boat ramp with floating pontoons is an easy launch inside the bay only 3km away. For those seeking adventure, four wheel driving in Coffin Bay National Park is 15 mins drive from the house. Greenly Beach is just another of our spectacular and virtually deserted surf beaches 20 mins up the coast towards Elliston. If coffee shops are what you need or grocery supplies then Port Lincoln is 35 mins (50km) away. Catch a flight to Port Lincoln from Adelaide with Qantas Link or Rex and then hire a car from one of the agencies located at the airport. Alternatively self drive and/or catch the SeaSA ferry from Walleroo on the Yorke Peninsula to Lucky Bay on the Eyre Peninsula. Guest AccessBoat hire available on site to holders of a boat licence.           The 3 bedroom house is situated on the corner of Pine and Aleppo Avenues, sleeping up to 10 people on 2 bunks, (4 singles), 2 single beds which can be pushed together to make a Queen, and one Queen size in air conditioned bedrooms. The property also has a sofa bed in the air conditioned lounge room. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge and chest freezer, separate laundry with toilet and shower, and an airconditioned living area with TV and DVD. Outside you have a gas flat plate BBQ, outdoor toilet and shower, fish cleaning area and parking for at least 4 cars and a boat or a camping area. The patio is massive with a great view of the bay and direct access to the kitchen through a sliding door. Enjoy the serenity or check out the visiting wildlife. We are a short walk from shops and restaurants, 5 mins to the jetty and yacht club and just around the corner to the fabulous Oyster Beds Restaurant. Coffin Bay is situated on the Eyre Peninsula just 25 mins drive from Port Lincoln on bitumen road, on the doorstep of the glorious Coffin Bay National Park. There are panoramic views from our elevated position in almost every direction. The house looks out over stunning sea views which encompass the most northern part of the Coffin Bay waterway. The panoramic views also include Mount Dutton and vast areas of native bushland. Many of our guests have written delighted comments about the view, but this comment from Josh and Rachelle on September 24th 2013 probably says it the most graphically- "Quite possibly the best view in the state! We have loved every minute of our stay.....Thanks so much for sharing this gorgeous place!" Claire, Denny, Bailey, Kye and Nash wrote "Wow! what a beautiful spot! The views amazing!..." The Lookout is in a serene setting on 125 acres of open, original coastal bushland which is roamed by kangaroos and emus and frequented by a wide range of birds, including sea eagles and wedge tail eagles. Apart from the owners' adjoining house, your nearest neighbour is more than 200m away and the next 1km! The shores of Salt Creek, which have two small shallow beaches are about 400m down the drive. You can drive onto this beach, so not only do you do not have to slog on foot to get the family and all that paraphernalia onto the beach, but you also have the choice of any section of this long beach. During summer a concrete and timber ramp provide easy access to the beach even for two wheel drive vehicles. Along the coast north of the Lookout there are spectacular rugged beaches ideally suited to land based fishing and surfing. The nearby Coffin Bay National Park has a great mix of very calm and surf beaches also. Mark- "...I suggest to drive to Coles Point and Greenly Beach..." This is a prized fishing location and we are pleased to offer our guests who have a boat licence the rental of our 4 metre Quintrex boat with flat floor and 25hp Yamaha motor. If hire of our boat interests you, please enquire at the time of booking to avoid disappointment. A boat gives a greatly enhanced opportunity to fish this area. The Lookout is favourably positioned for the best land based and boat fishing options on the west side of the Eyre Peninsula. Farm Beach (only 6km from the house) provides direct access to the best fishing grounds avoiding the long run from Coffin Bay. Boats launching from Coffin Bay township must endure choppy seas whipped up by the sea breeze. Access to the more sheltered Coffin Bay waters is simple via the concrete boat ramp, complete with floating pontoon only 3km away at Mount Dutton Bay East. Mount Dutton Bay at the foot of Mount Dutton on the edge of the Coffin Bay waterway is the perfect spot to base yourself for a relaxing break away from it all. You can enjoy the almost deserted coastline fishing, surfing, sampling the local seafood or just sightseeing.

                      Seahorse villa is a century old house set on the shores of Murat Bay in Ceduna. There is access to the beach across the road and magnificent views from the front rooms and verandah. It is only minutes from shops, hotel and takeaways. Fully self-contained suits couples or families. Secure parking. If one night is required a 50% loading is added to the nightly rate. Ceduna and surrounding areas are great for surfing, fishing, swimming, picnics in the bush, beach BBQs and in general a relaxing atmosphere. It is also a great place to begin the trip to the Head of the Bight to view Southern Right Whales close-up from the viewing platforms. This is area is 300 km from Ceduna on a good bitumen road all the way in to the facility. People can choose to make the trip in one day or stay overnight at Nullabor Station only 15 km from the entrance to Head of the Bight. Ceduna is a coastal town on Eyre Peninsula in Ceduna. Beginning the trip across the Nullarbor is an ideal place to rest before starting the trip. A 'wing' has been added at the back of our home which includes a new master bedroom and ensuite, Family room/kids Zone and separate toilet. A large island bench & fully equipped kitchen opens onto a private sunny outdoor entertaining space. Guest AccessThere is ample off street parking at the rear of the building for boats, cars and caravans etc. If extra people are staying in caravans on the premises a fee of $25, if using power, or $20, if not powered, per couple will apply. Interaction with GuestsMy husband, Tim, and I live in the adjacent building and run the local post office which is attached to our residence so there is always someone around if any problems arise. The beach is less than a 500m walk where you can swim, fish, kayak, surf or even be lucky enough to spot a dolphin or a whale from the water's edge! This property is reliant on Rain Water ONLY therefore no washing facilities are offered to our guests and we ask everyone to use our water sparingly. All rooms have ceiling fans and the living area has a reverse cycle air conditioner available for your comfort. All linen and towels are supplied apart from beach towels. The Cleaner/Caretaker of the property is situated next door therefore in the unlikely event that you have any problems they are happy to assist you. Please note that No Pets Allowed. So, all you need to bring is your food, drinks, a few changes of clothes, your beach towels and sunscreen and you'll be set for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Park to walk your dog, at your front door. Getting AroundHi Guests, You asked for some tips; best restaurant is in the Lincoln Hotel. 7minute walk. Coffee and pizza at Del Giornos middle of main street (Tasman terrace-the esplanade street)15 min walk. Best fish and chips are at the processing factory at the back of town called the "Fresh Fish Place", south side across from the race course. Its an unlikely location but a surprise as it has eat in tables and chairs and is very pleasant. A regular stop for sea food trail tourists. You can also get fresh fish at Aus Star seafoods in Kirton Point (the high part of town), opposite the new fire station on St Andrews Terrace. The tavern at the Marina hotel is also a very pleasant location for a beer wine or coffee. The food is pretty good also, more pub style. Very relaxing location on the Marina. Best fresh fruit and veg market in Porter street market , near Kmart, toward the silo end of the CBD. Coffin bay is worth a trip~45km NW and you can buy fresh oysters. The new "Oyster beds restaurant" is supposed to be great. The location is excellent, on your left as you drive into Coffin bay township. This place has been featured recently on TV as a must do for sea food lovers. For that total mediterranian breakfast experience and wine tasting Dellacolline boutique vineyard only 5 minutes by car, up the Flinders Hwy is a must do. Boston Bay vineyard on the North shore is also worth a visit for tasting. For the kids, Glenforest farm is a chance to cuddle a cute wombat and the like. This is a 25min drive out of town. The tourist info centre...middle of town, near front street, on Adelaide Place has plenty of info. on all activities to do while in Lincoln. Hopefully the weather is great and you have a great time.
