The sunroom is bright and warm with a second lounge area next to lawned backyard. The neighbourhood is a relaxed suburb close to the sea, with plenty of restaurants and great cafes. For those who like a beer, a local hotel (pub) is just down the road. Our property is a chemical free environment. Internet is available via cable ADSL2 or WiFi. No smoking inside the house.       The SpaceA double room with options to use the twin room too. Both have fitted wardrobes, large windows, fan and ac. The double has a standard bed, the twin room has two small futons. Very well suited to families, work travel or for longer holidays - this relaxed, clean and tidy house is semi-open plan with all the comforts you'd expect. It is home to two very laid-back hosts who have travelled a lot and know what makes a good stay. The large, west facing terrace has hammocks, bean bags, a big dining table and BBQ - the perfect place to watch the sun set over the ocean or to relax in the sun or shade. The garden is full of roses, fruit trees and vegetables with lots of cute corners to explore. The beautiful city of Adelaide is accessible by a fast, regular and inexpensive train (an easy daily commute, station within walking distance) and the beach is probably one of the best in the state - a unique place with excellent surf, top quality diving and snorkelling, canoeing, fishing and walking in the national park as well as good cafes/restaurants and a cycle route to the McLaren Vale wine region. Port Noarlunga is part of the Adelaide Metro area but has all the charm of a small holiday town. The reef is in a marine reserve and is great for snorkelling and diving (gear & instruction available) ! .. or just spend a lazy day on our beautiful beach 2 min walk from the front door. Walk to one of the many beautiful restaurants in historic Port Noarlunga! Your room on the ground floor has a double-bed, heating & cooling, and you'll have your own bathroom with shower- linen and towels included. We had a few enquiries where 3 people wanted to stay. It is possible to fit a single mattress at the base of the double-bed. We can supply a basic mattress and there won't be much room left to move around, but it is possible. We changed the maximum number of people for the room to 3. Please be aware that this is a squeeze and the room is meant to be for 2 only! There are no views from your room, but you are of course more than welcome to share the upstairs living-area with its balcony and enjoy the 180 degree uninterrupted views! We occasionally use the kitchen so you'll have to share that one with us! There are also two super-friendly dogs living here so if you're not a dog person stay well clear of this fantastic offer. 'Other pets' are two carpet pythons securely locked away in their vivariums. Enjoy the sunset with drink in hand from the balcony and surf the internet using wireless broadband. Laundry facilities available. If work allows then Airport & city transfers are available ($40). Off - street parking available and motorbikes will fit in the garage. Unfortunately I can't host your pet as Narta the dog might get very upset.. Public transport to and from shopping centres and the city is available although your own transport will make touring the area a lot easier! We are looking forward to sharing our spot with you!         It is a spacious ground floor apartment on the esplanade with a grandstand view of Gulf St Vincent. Pat and Ern Kelly have gone to a lot of trouble to make the apartment well-equipped and comfortable as possible to meet the needs of everyday living. "Just like home" is a common comment of clients.. This is a holiday destination 30kms from the city centre and close to the beach and National park, kayaking and bike riding, and a diving school in Port Noarlunga. It is a very quiet neighbourhood one street away from the beach, a few blocks from 3 supermarkets, a vegan restaurant/grocery store, some take away shops, restaurants, gift shops, a great bar and cafe, plus a couple of gyms. There is a regular bus and train and bus service to the city and back, HOWEVER THERE IS NO DIRECT BUS SERVICE FROM THE AIRPORT. For this reason it is best to book flights that arrive in Adelaide airport before 9pm so you can make your way to the city and then to the train station. From there you will need to get a cab to the house as it is a few blocks away. Australia is a very big place so a few blocks is not the same as a city/town or village in Europe. The bus that runs close to the house to the Noarlunga shopping centre and connections to the city is the 734 The buses that run to the city from the Noarlunga shopping centre and train station (which currently has not trains) are 721, 23 and the trains. The house is a 60's brick family home, with a huge back yard and polished wooden floors in the living areas, carpet in the guest room. Guests have access to all shared areas of the house ie bathroom, lounge, kitchen, backyard with driveway, parking if you need to park a car. Check in and out times are strictly 11 pm at night to avoid guests arriving from late flights and not taking the bus directly from the city. Vegetarian household - guests must agree to maintain the vegitarian household, non smoking and drug free. Other Things to NoteThe best place to eat here is the Vault Cafe at the bottom of Beach Road. There is a bar next door called by the same name, outside tables and drinks are fabulous. Look it up online as this site wont allow links or contact details such as phone numbers, mobile numbers, addresses etc. The best restaurant to eat at is the Ampika Kitchen at Port Noarlunga. The best pizza in the area is Russells Pizza at Wilunga. However it is always booked out so book ahead and dont miss out! It is in an historical building and in winter time there is a fire outside and the kids love to sit out there and eat their pizzas. The menu is very diverse so check out the desserts! There is a great place to have lunch in Wilunga called the Green Room. It is on the main street adjacent to Russells Pizza. It is a good place for families as it has a good menu as well as seating outdoors and playground for the children. There are several markets and food co-ops in Wilunga, which is close to the wine area. Maclaren Vale is teeming with wineries and if you are interested watch this space and I will detail those that have been recommended by other guests as well as friends and family. I will be going to check them out and will post the results.

                      Mentone Pet Friendley Holiday Beach House is located on the coast in one of the southern suburbs of Adelaide. It has 180 degree sea views from all of the main rooms. We allow small to medium dogs to stay. The back yard is fully fenced and there is an extensive permanent off lead dog beach adjacent to us. "Mentone " is also close to all the main attractions south of Adelaide and yet is only about 30 Mins by car from the airport and C.B.D.

Pat and Ern Kelly have gone to a lot of trouble to make the apartment well-equipped and comfortable as possible to meet the needs of everyday living. "Just like home" is a common comment of clients.. The beach out front has everything for people wanting a beach holiday, but Christies Beach is also a convenient base for exploring the popular tourist destinations to the south throughout the Fleurieu Peninsula such as the scenic coast, the Goolwa district near the Murray River mouth, Kangaroo Is and the extensive wine regions.
