The SpaceWelcome to our charming 1857 slate floored miner’s cottage, situated in the Fleurieu Peninsula playground, forty minutes drive south of Adelaide. It has self contained accommodation for up to four including two bedrooms, sitting room, kitchen and bathroom, nestled in a magical garden in a peaceful nook of Willunga. The Fleurieu Peninsula has a real beach culture. Surfers jog down to the water each morning with boards under their arm. Families lay on the sand, eating fish and chips. You’ll be sure to enjoy the sun, food and outstanding wine in this little slice of heaven. The Fleurieu Peninsula is a hive of activity in summer. You will love the laid-back lifestyle. There’s a different atmosphere in winter. See wild, thundering seas and whales slapping their tails in the water. Guest AccessWith uninterrupted vineyard views, a synthetic grass tennis court and a solar heated swimming pool you will not want to leave. Interaction with GuestsWe love sharing our piece of paradise with others. We live in the homestead on site and are always happy to provide you with recommendations during your stay. Having said that, the cottages are completely separate to the homestead and are fully self contained.

The SpaceYou will have your own living area downstairs (bedroom, bathroom & lounge room) however feel free to spend time with us upstairs if you like. The bathroom is share but we stay out of your way as additional is upstairs. Share kitchen upstairs along with dining area. We can also provide dinner for $8 per head. Please also note this listing is 'private room' this is one house so please remember we do need to walk downstairs to exit the house. We do however limit this as much as possible. Please note we are a farm with lots of animals. We have 7 horses, 9 dogs, 2 cats & 5 chickens. Feel free to interact with them. A dog may visit inside the house however we can keep them out if you wish. Also same applies with the cats. Guest AccessEntire house, we have a lovely deck upstairs with views of the vineyards to enjoy over a glass of wine. Our property consists of 5 acres, feel free to wander and spend time visiting our border collie dogs & horses. There is also a 2 person infra-red sauna available for use. Please note sauna use is only recommended for use once per day. We also have a 11m saltwater pool with attached spa jets for your use. The pool is solar heated so weather depending warm for swimming from October to April. Interaction with GuestsWe can interact as often or as little as you like. It's your holiday so all up to what you want. We love to enjoy a glass of wine on our deck watching the sun set over the vines so why not join us? The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is famous for its wine! However food is also now a very popular aspect in the area with some really spectacular restaurants. We now even have a few micro breweries if you feel like mixing things up. And don't forget our beaches, they are some of the best around. Directly across the road is Shingleback winery. Fridays 5-8pm there is live music, wine, beer and tapas on offer between November-March. Yes you can walk :) Also across the road is the visitor information centre. All you need to know about the area can be found there, they even have events on some Friday nights also. Another great restaurant is The Barn, this also less than a 5min walk away! Getting AroundAs we are on the Main Street, you can walk to most things in the vale. However there is also a bus stop less than 1 minute walk which takes you to Seaford (train to city), Willunga or Aldinga. Other Things to NoteLast min specials do not apply during the holiday season

The SpaceWelcome to Rosebank' Cottage – a spacious, modern two bedroom Cottage, with rich timber floors and eclectic furnishings, offering warmth, interest, comfort and class, all within walking distance of McLaren Vale's main street. A welcoming bowl of fruit and home-made cake and a bottle of McLaren Vale's finest awaits you, as well as ample continental breakfast provisions, coffee and tea. Guest AccessEntrance to the cottage is from the southern deck which is accessed from the carport by a paved walkway. From the time you enter, the cottage will surprise and delight you. The open living/dining area with large TV, DVD player,sound system, couches and lamps open onto a north-facing decking with BBQ, table and chairs. You will find everything that you need in the kitchen – stove and microwave,dishwasher, and a host of electrical appliances, an espresso coffee machine (and beans!). The two large bedrooms with their plush carpet and ultra-comfortable queen-size beds offer luggage racks, overhead fans, plenty of storage space and reading lamps. Dressing gowns and extra blankets are also provided. The bathroom has a shower,and bath, heat lamps, great lighting and mirrors, hair dryer, scales and toiletries. There is a separate toilet. The laundry is equipped with a washing machine (and washing powder), clothes dryer, a portable clothes line, iron and ironing board. The second toilet is off the laundry. For your enjoyment there are books, games, CDs, DVDs, a picnic set and rug, beach towels and chairs. There is also an ipod alarm clock radio and to keep you connected, wireless internet facilities. An “emergency pack”, consisting of a first-aid kit, torch, candle and matches, fire blanket and extinguisher is located on the bottom shelf of the pantry cupboard.         The SpaceThe Studio in the Vines is a rammed earth building, open planned, self contained accommodation with separate bathroom. Seated on top of a hill, the expansive 90m2 studio has views out to the coast and nature on the back door step. While only 20 metres from main family home, the direction of the magnificent views and strategic screening allows for the feeling of complete privacy enjoyment. Guest AccessThe Studio in the Vines is self-contained, with linen, towels, beach towels and basic condiments provided. All you need to bring with you is your food. Interaction with GuestsGuests can be met on arrival and shown though the property, depending on arrival time. Otherwise keys are left in a security box for guests to retrieve and return on departure. The NeighborhoodSituated on a rural property in the heart of some of McLaren Vale's best known and awarded wineries and a short drive to the magnificent Fleurieu Peninsula coastline, The Studio in the Vjnes offers guests the opportunity to be as adventurous or relaxed as they choose during their stay. Only a short walk from a selection of the best cellar doors and restaurants, you may choose to spend a day on foot, experiencing the ultimate foodie day combining wine tasting and a long lunch with no concerns about who will drive. On the 10 minute drive returning from Willunga, you may wish to stop and enjoy Karena Armstrong's exquisite meals or one of their 230+ gins at the Salopian Inn, just a 3 minute drive from The Studio. Beautiful beaches are only ten minutes drive away, offering cliff walks, snorkelling, hang-gliding and paddle boarding. A little further south you'll find Aldinga with it's vibrant community of shops and Port Willinga, a favourite with locals where you can sit on the beach with freshly cooked fish and chips. Or a short drive north, you can visit Port Noarlunga's reef and take a guided snorkel or scuba tour. If you are travelling to Victor Harbour or Kangaroo Island, McLaren Vale is an ideal half way mark to stop and have a break. Being only 40 minutes from Adelaide CBD and the airport, this is the perfect holiday rental for a romantic getaway, to celebrate special occasions, relax and unwind and to use as a base for vine or coastal adventures or as a venue for activities such as team building workshops. Getting AroundIt's best to have a car to explore the region. Once you arrive at The Studio in the Vines you can choose to visit local areas of interest which are mostly less than 20 minutes drive away. McLaren Vale township is only a 2 minutes drive, or 10 minute walk (including a couple of hills) and there is plenty to see and do within walking distance from the property. Other Things to NoteThe Studio in the Vines is a spacious, open plan room and with separate bathroom. There are ceiling fans and a reverse cycle air conditioner. The kitchen is fully stocked with crockery, glassware and pots. There is a selection of local teas from the Fine and Dandy Tea Co as well as some basic condiments. The kitchen is well appointed for those guests that wish to take advantage of the fabulous choice of regional produce and stay in and cook and there is a Webber BBQ on the terrace for alfresco dining. Each bed has new luxury bedding with linen, towels and beach towels supplied. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. There is free wifi and a wireless audio speaker provided. Some books and games are available for your enjoyment. A Port-a-cot, high-chair and stroller are available on request. The living space opens out onto a terrace with views of vines and the occasional kangaroo. Here you will find a 4 seater table with an umbrella. On the verandah, we have placed a couple of chairs and a side table for you to enjoy the stunning sunsets over McLaren Vale and the surrounding area. There is plenty of room for parking on the property. The Studio in the Vines is a non-smoking residence.

        The SpaceThe studio room has been freshly renovated. The faux leather recliner couch sits in front of a 64" TV to relax from a hard day of wine tasting. We have changed the walk in wardrobe into a small kitchenette, with a convection microwave oven, kettle and toaster, which will allow snacks and meals to be made. The ensuite is original with a shower, toilet and sink. The king size bed only adds to the comfort. Guest AccessTo make it more convenient we have installed a key code for the main entrance door, which will allow you to come and go as you please. All we need is a 4 digit pin to program in! The Studio Room is off to the left once you're through the main entrance. Interaction with GuestsWe are a very friendly family that will be able to tell you what the Vale has to offer. The NeighborhoodWe are a small stroll from the fantastic Serafino Winery that is in the top 5 for eating out. With the availability of the bikes, we are also in biking distance to several cellar doors in the area. Getting AroundWe are 15 minute walk to the main street with a bus stop next to the bandstand. There are several wine tour buses that can take you to the hidden treasures. Other Things to NoteWe do have a very friendly Staffy called Lexi. She loves letting us know when someone is at the door. Not so good with other dogs so unfortunately no pets. We do not offer laundry service but there is a Laundromat in the Vale.

          The SpaceExperience the Australian countryside in a converted shearing shed with all modern comforts just 45 minutes from Adelaide set in a secluded spot in the McLaren Vale wine region on a 90-acre property. We are local wine makers who live across an orchard paddock 200 meters away. Enter your accommodation through the traditional shearing shed to arrive at a cosy and romantic dwelling that has fantastic vineyard views and stylish interiors. Comfortable queen size bed, great shower and a fully equipped kitchen, reverse cycle air conditioning, wi-fi and a deck that overlooks a small winter creek. Explore the surrounding cellar doors, vineyards, local beaches and great restaurants. This is a wonderful place to just relax and take walks around the property, help yourself to produce from the orchard, chook pen and vegetable garden (when in season). Two bikes and helmets are available on request so you can explore the area. Curl up with a good book by the wood fire in winter and eat on the spacious deck in summer. The shearing shed space can also be used for artist retreats. The Shearing Shed was recently renovated to a very high standard, and although rustic in appearance, it has a beautiful interior, with all of the modern conveniences that you would expect from a boutique country escape. The period galvanised shed has an inviting South East facing deck where you can sit, relax and enjoy the fresh country air. It is the perfect setting to cook a BBQ and dine together, either with friends or alone, while enjoying some of the region's wine. Weather permitting in wintertime, there is a camp-fire in the paddock to enjoy outdoor cooking. If it is too cold outside then why not sit indoors by the combustion wood fired stove enjoying the view from large picture windows? The Shearing Shed is a great place to stay if attending weddings, anniversaries or other events in the area. A 20 minute drive will take you to fantastic beaches such as Maslins, Port Willunga and Aldinga where you can fish, swim and take beach walks. We can recommend restaurants including the Salopian Inn, the Star of Greece, the Victory Hotel, Fall from Grace, Russells Pizza Bar and the restaurant in our own winery at Coriole Vineyards. There are a number of bushwalking tracks in the area and the Shiraz Trail is a biking track that runs between McLaren Vale and Willunga. We also invite you to take walks around the 90 acre property with its pretty vineyard and spectacular hillside views. For the keen golfer there is a tranquil golf course at Willunga. We are only a few easy minutes walk to some of the best cellar doors and the renowned 'Currant Shed' restaurant. Historic Willunga is only a ten minute drive with its famous Saturday organic market a must visit. Also on the doorstep are Mclaren Vale township (5 mins drive), Maslin beach (10mins) and Port Willunga (15mins). The rest of the Fleurieu peninsula and Adelaide hills areas are a delight to explore by car, motorcycle or even by bicycle on the renowned Shiraz Trail. Should you wish to see the area from the air, Aldinga airport is close by and offers scenic flights around the area. For those really adventurous, it is possible to take to the skies in an amphibious open air plane and explore the Coorong national park. These activities can be arranged on request and are weather dependent. Getting AroundThere is off road parking for two vehicles and driving around the McLaren Vale area is a pleasure due to the low traffic density and no traffic lights! Adelaide CBD is 45 minutes drive away or easily accessed via the new train link a short 15 minutes drive away at Seaford. There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk away taking you to McLaren Vale where buses can be caught to the beaches or the train station.           The SpaceThe perfect place to take a couple of days off from the weekly routine. Unwind has been tastefully decorated throughout with two queen beds, compete with electric blankets for added comfort, a full kitchen and comfortable living areas inside and out. There is an abundance of quality wineries within a 5km radius of Unwind, all with their own unique cellar doors and boasting fantastic selections of wines. There are several cafes, souvenir and art and craft shops as well as the one and only Fruchoc shop within 600m of your front door. If the kids are coming away for your quick break there is a playground and BBQ just down the road that will give them enough space to run and burn off any extra energy due to the excitement of being somewhere new. McLaren Vale and surrounding areas offer so much, apart from the obvious of wineries, you are within 10kms of the beach, 35 minutes from the city with the new expressway and 35 minutes from Victor Harbour, it truly does give you a perfect base to explore the area. Please not that the cleaning fee is only charged for 1 night stays. Please send a request for longer than one night so that I can remove the fee for you.
