The SpaceNOTE: $68 FOR ONE PERSON/NIGHT AND $50 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL PERSON/NIGHT. This price includes dinner on the first night and brekky the next morning. If you have already eaten, discount may apply. We are a bit of a drive out of Euroa township with no postal delivery and no rubbish collection. You have to be prepared to come to the country! But when you get there, you will see why we live here. There is plenty of interesting land to walk around. Guest AccessThere are 2 bedrooms available; one has a double bed and the other has a trundle (2 single beds). Share bathroom, kitchen and large open lounge with whole of house. In summer, there is a great outdoor area. Great tv and phone reception (better if Telstra). Interaction with GuestsI work from home in the main and so am always around to help with directions or how things work etc. I love the area and so more than willing to suggest where you can go for the day. We are constantly renovating this old girl and so there may be some 'building' going on when you get here! The NeighborhoodEuroa and the surrounding area has some beautiful scenery and great walking or cycling tracks. People are extremely friendly and helpful. We are close to Shepparton where you can get great fruit (visit the SPC factory outlet) but also close to Mansfield or Beechworth or Wangaratta etc. There are some great eats at some of the local pubs - and you get to hear a yarn or two while there. Getting AroundYou will need a car - preference would be a 4WD if you want to travel around the area and take in more of the views etc. If your car is close to the ground, it may scrape a little bit on some of the roads including our driveway (which is about 1km long). Public Transport out of Euroa is limited but vLine trains run ex Albury through to Melbourne and return. Taxi service is available in Euroa but you have to book well in advance. Other Things to NoteBecause we are out of town, you need to shop for your needs. Don't think you can just zip down to the local store and grab a block of chocolate or an icecream - it will take you approx. 20 minutes to get there - and then it may or may not be open. Euroa shops are open Monday to Friday until approx. 6pm and then Saturday and Sunday until about midday.

Bonnie Brae Farm Stay Holiday is comfy and friendly and takes you back in time to when the world was a little less hectic. Nestled in a 400 acre working farm that includes both Goulburn river flats and hills and gullies leading up to the Terip Terip Ranges. Its a unique property that holds a wealth of indigenous flora and fauna. It is at the foot of Molesworth Scenic Road with stunning views and intimate landscapes and only a short distance to the Rail Trail which travels the old Highlands train route. The farmhouse is comfy and friendly with beautiful gardens and often livestock and local wildlife surrounding it. Molesworth is a hidden jewel, a valley town in between Yea and Alexandra many of the properties, including Bonnie Brae have been owned by the same families since the turn of last century. We are a working farm and if you are interested in seeing how things work at the farm let us know and we may be able to include you in some activities. Some people prefer a quieter stay to relax and recharge so just let us know what you are hoping for. Most pets are welcome but please let us know in case there are any difficulties with stock. Any pets brought onto the property need to be under control at all times as there are often young animals around. Well behaved children are very welcome also and a joy to have around.

The SpaceIdyllic rural property located amongst the stunning granite boulders of Victoria's Strathbogie ranges. Gorgeous peaceful walks and places to just sit.... and sit some more....perennial mountain creek borders this working farm - easy access to the iconic Ruffy Produce Store and local wineries. Guest AccessSuper comfortable king size bed, upmarket bathroom facilities include toilet, basin & shower as well as luxurious bathsheet towels. The kitchen provides a pod coffee machine, microwave, fridge, sink and all crockery/cutlery. Complementary Coffee and Teas Very comfortable lounge suite with extensive range of DVDs for your entertainment. No TV! Can you cope? Indoor & outdoor eating areas including your own barbeque and fire-pit. Peaceful gardens and granite boulders to reconnect yourself to nature; the silence is also complementary! Interaction with GuestsYour hosts are available for local information or guided walks - ask upon booking. We are a couple of "tree changers" so we have a complete understanding of the desire for privacy, solitude and silence if that's what you are seeking. Our guests' needs are always our top priority. The NeighborhoodThe Strathbogie Ranges are one of the last largely undiscovered but beautiful rural regions in the state of Victoria. An easy 2 hour drive north of Melbourne, the village of Ruffy sits on a tableland at the southern end of the ranges and is accessible by sealed roads. The local landscape is peppered with stunning granite boulders and pristine creeks & gullies. The region is a traditional farming district with a community of around 200 people. The air is fresh and the night skies are perfect for star-gazing as there is no light pollution. Birds abound and whilst we are sometimes reluctant to share our piece of paradise we can't be too greedy so come and visit....soon, before everyone else discovers it! Getting AroundAbsolutely no public transport ....How wonderful....Food shops are half an hour drive away. We are on an all weather gravel road that is good for 2WD vehicles and mountain bikes. 3 minutes to the Ruffy Produce Store and 30 minutes to Alexandra, Euroa or Yea for shopping. Other Things to NoteWe welcome babies in arms and we can provide a portable cot, however as this is a working farm with dams, creeks and electric fencing we cannot accommodate toddlers or children. Your dog is also welcome - as long as your pooch is happy to be an "outside" dog. Our friendly pooch already claims ownership at the farm but he's very sociable and will "share." A kennel and secure sheltered lock-up is available for your dog. Please tell us when booking if you wish to bring your dog.

The SpaceBonnie Brae has been in our family since 1900 as a working farm. It is a unique and beautiful property that shares rare glimpses of history and present, farming and natural environments. Backing onto the hills of the Strathbogie ranges and nestling down into the billabongs along the Goulburn river it is an amazing environment full of life and interest. It is beautiful, peaceful, wild, nurturing and ever changing. It is our home and we love to share it with visitors who also appreciate this beautiful place. Guest AccessGuests have use of the fully furnished 3 bedroom farmhouse with a small enclosed front yard available for our doggy visitors. Guests do not have access to the farm area unless arranged when they arrive. Interaction with GuestsAs a working farm there are sometimes opportunities for guests to be involved with farm activities although this is not always possible. For guests who would like to explore we can often provide opportunities for walks through areas of the farm to see some of the amazing views and sometimes wildlife. We are a working farm though and our work with livestock takes precedence over the farm stay. Some guests like to have their own space and quiet and we're very comfortable with that as well. The NeighborhoodWe're a hop skip and jump from the snow fields, its a beautiful place for walks, close to towns full of shops, markets and festivals. Local eateries, fishing and the rail trail. There's a heap to do in the area and a good half way stop for other longer trips. Getting AroundThere is a bus that stops at Molesworth that comes from Lilydale, southern cross station and also additional buses during snow season. Other Things to NoteDogs need to be under control at all times and are often not able to go into areas where livestock may be present. Some areas of the farm are restricted and visitors are asked to check for areas they can access and respect any restrictions. We are rural and so while there is a huge range of dvd's to watch there is no television and depending on your service you may not have phone access or internet. Alternatively you might like to watch movies, talk to people, play music, board games, go for walks, cook and eat and relax, just for a while. The house is full of books, dvd's, knitting, board games, kids toys etc. To some is clutter and to others is fun. It is a farmhouse so its not new and its full of things from the past so if you are looking for clutter free, sterile, white towels and spa then please look elsewhere. We are a working farm and it does take our priority and this probably shows at times. The farmstay is for people who enjoy this type of environment, the sheets are clean but not ironed, sometimes there's wombats making a racket under the house, the animals wake you up at first light and there's always something new going on. Again, it's an old farmhouse, nothing is new, it's all pre loved, needs a lick of paint and is not perfect. If you are looking for a clean, uncluttered, impersonal, sterile, motel room there's a good one down the road. This farm is our home and we enjoy having guests that appreciate this beautiful place, it's not for everyone though so please consider an alternative rather than give us a poor revue if this is not for you.
