Thanks for all your help, everyone loved the house. We will be back. The house is so much closer to the beach than I was expecting" James We stayed at this property with extended family and it exceeded our expectations. The cinema room and immediate access to the beach were highlights. Loved the additional thoughtful touches such as toys for kids and beach gear including wetsuits, life vests etc. Will definitely stay here again. Great find - highly recommend.” Kristen "Stayed here for two nights in December 2014 with the extended family. Was astounded by how spacious the place was, how nicely furnished it was and how nice the bathrooms were (better than some of the 5-star hotels I've stayed at!). The beach access from the backyard was great. I only got to visit the beach once but it was like having our own private beach. The recreation gear and toys provided (preschool toys to gaming consoles) was greatly appreciated. It really made it feel like a home away from home (though I'd happily swap my home for yours any time!). Only regret was that I didn't get stay longer and make the most of the place. Didn't even get a chance to watch a movie in the awesome cinema room. Will definitely be back!” Jane Walter "We booked Silverdreams for three nights, we were blessed with beautiful weather, many a happy hour was spent sitting on the balcony enjoying a glass of wine overlooking the ocean,Silverleaves beach is so close to the rear of the house, we wondered down at regular intervals to the flat family friendly beach, the house is beautiful and the facilities are excellent, we are already talking about a return visit.” Karen & Frank - Melbourne

As well as a queen bed this room also contains a single bed, and has its own TV if you want complete privacy. The second bedroom contains a queen size bed. As well as the lounge room, there is an open study area. There are no kitchen facilities, but a small fridge is available for your use, as well as kettle, toaster, Lavazza coffee pod machine, microwave and a Weber Baby Q gas BBQ. Interaction with GuestsThis is our home and we live upstairs, so we should be available if you require anything. The NeighborhoodLocated just 7 kilometres from the Bass Highway, Corinella is a delightful coastal community with amazing history. It was explored by George Bass in 1797 and is the site of the first settlement in Victoria in 1826, well before Melbourne was settled. The first Government House was also built here. However, the settlement was short lived and Corinella is now a quiet haven. There are kilometres of walking trails which can be accessed from opposite the house. Fishing is popular and the jetty and 24 hour boat ramp are a short distance as is the general store and post office. Other Things to NoteA light breakfast is supplied for all guests. There are not a lot of eateries in the immediate vicinity. The local store does limited take away and is open until 7.00 pm. Grantville is 12 kilometres away and has a variety of take away options. The George Bass Hotel which serves reasonably priced meals is 13 kilometres. McDonalds and a Connells Bakery outlet are located at the Caltex Service Station on the highway, about a ten minute drive. La Provincia Cafe and Bar is open Sat-Sun 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and Mondays 8.30 am to 3.30 pm. and is only 6 kilometres towards the highway.
