The SpaceMy home is my nest and I love sharing communication over a meal. On arrival You will find a welcoming environment to relax in by a wood fire in winter and a cool area in summer. I do my best to ensure there are ample choices of breakfast ingredients for guests which they can enjoy from a comfortable veranda overlooking my garden which includes a water feature, a variety of flowers and visiting fauna. The lounge area is comfortable, with television, a variety of DVD's to choose from, a stereo and facility to play music off your iphone, There is ample, safe parking space out the front, walking distance to the local Milk Bar and the cosy Tallarook Hotel where you can kick back in front of a wood fire and enjoy the many stories told by Bill, play pool, talk to the friendly local's and if musically inclined, guests can pick up an instrument at any time and feel free to play to their hearts content. In my home you may enjoy some artistic endeavours as I am constantly creating and have many mediums which I am willing to share, as well as musical instruments if you wish to dabble. There can be Wifi on request at a cost of $10 per week! Walking distance to the Tallarook Pool, Only one hours drive to Melbourne, half an hour to Yea or Kilmore and is a convenient stopover on the Hume traveling north or south! Interaction with GuestsI like to keep communication lines as open as my guests requirements are, as my guests comfort is paramount. The NeighborhoodThis is a small town where people are friendly, though there are times when passing traffic can be heard, it is generally a quiet place to stay. Getting AroundIf guests are travelling by public transport, the railway station is just across the road, with a 1 hour 20 minute ride to Southern Cross station Melbourne. 10 minute ride to Seymour, where guests can catch a train destined for Sydney or Shepparton. Other Things to NoteI have two dogs, they are friendly and love a good pat and a friendly face.

Our property is set amongst hills, the Goulburn River and the Rail Trail. We have two mountain bikes and fishing rods for your use. Our property is on ten acres with a parkland setting of beautiful gardens, with natural bushland behind us. We are only ten minutes from Seymour and twenty minutes from Yea: close enough to visit, but far enough away to enjoy the peace. We have wineries within twenty minutes drive, which provide fine dining, great quality wines and historic properties.

    Cute 2 bedroom cottage retreat in the historical heart of Avenel situated on a large block with garden. Full facilities includes working kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Air conditioning, wood fire heater, 42" television, sofa and couch, dining table for 6. Great for a weekend retreat for a couple or family, and mid-week stays for travellers and workers alike. The front is on historical Bank St, with hotel, legendary pizzaria and historical buildings nearby. The rear looks onto pasture with sheep or cows with peppercorn and elm trees. Avenel is 10-20 minutes drive from 3 of Victoria's best wineries, Tabilk, Michelton and Plunketts, all of which serve exceptional weekend lunches and cellar door. Breakfast is available at Annies' across the road. If that does not sate your appetite, Avenel is a pleasant country drive of 30 minutes to the famous Heathcote wineries. Avenel is in the heart of one of Victorias horse breeding centres, and is near the home of Black Caviar. Find the grave of Red Kelly, father of Ned in the Avenel Cemetary, check out the historical bridge, wander the country lanes. A great stay for country bicycle riders and near some of Victorias best rail trails.

Living room has a fold down double sofa bed. Towels, sheets and bedding are all included. There is a second bathroom, separate toilet, laundry and modern kitchen, well equipped for self catering. You will need to bring your own supplies - Tallarook has a Post Office/cafe/general store. Broadford has a small supermarket, butcher, baker etc. Seymour has 3 large supermarkets. The living room features a stone fireplace, wood heater, with wood supplied, and a split system for heating or cooling. Undercover alfresco area with gas BBQ and great views. Guest AccessAmple on site parking and lock up 2 car garage. Scenic views of farmland and grazing cows but no foot or vehicle access to the farm. Farmhouse is fenced, with two acres of grass land and trees. Interaction with GuestsYou will be welcomed to the house when you check in, and we will be there to accept the keys when you check out. My husband Steve and I are happy to share our local knowledge - shopping, dining, Rail Trail, Goulburn River, parks, wineries and military heritage. Firewood is supplied and we can light the fire in advance if you wish. The Neighborhood15 minutes to Seymour or Broadford, 10 minutes to Glenaroua, 20 minutes to Nagambie. The village of Tallarook is 5 minutes away, with a general store, railway station, outdoor swimming pool in a shady bush setting,pub, foodies cafe and the Great Victorian Rail Trail. Hock the Ruby cafe is fantastic for breakfast or lunch, open Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Tallarook Farmers' Market is on the first Sunday of every month, except January, and features a wide array of food stalls, music and country atmosphere. Seymour is a large rural centre with restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, specialty shops, riverside parks, outdoor swimming pool complex in a park like setting, and wineries.     The SpaceSeven Hills Tallarook, as the name suggests, sits upon seven hills, each with magnificant views overlooking Broadford, Kilmore, Puckapunyal, Seymour and the Tallarook Ranges. The acoomoadation for the cottage, sits in a fenced area with views acorss our damn and paddocks on all sides. Outside there is a covered driveway, BBQ and bonfire area for you to use at your own luxury. We are a commerical goat farm and supply Melbourne's meat trade with our farmed goat meat. We attend six farmers market a month across the Macedon Ranges and Eltham where we sell our meat further and BBQ our goat sausages, chorizo, burgers and pulled goat. We are known for "for all things goat" and are a central hub for our allicance goat growers and actively looking farmes wanting to get into goats. We are a 600 acre farm, with 7 damns, 10kms of road, 15 kms of fencing, 15 paddocks for our animals and 2kms of Sunday Creek. Our animals are free to roam around at least 300 acres of the property, with access to feed and fresh water in all paddocks and laneways. In short travelling distance you have Seymour with two major supermarkets, all major banks, swimming pools and sport centres, parks and outdoor spaces. You also have Mitchelton and Tahbilk Wineries, the Rail Trail, and over one million acres of state forrest across in the Tallarook Ranges. We have two kms of Sunday creek frontage for exploring and fishing and a list of activities for you to partake in from skeet shooting to quad bike tours. The NeighborhoodThis unique experience is situated in the heart of a private commercial goat farm. There are no neighbours to bother you which is perfect for resting and unwinding. We are 4kms from the Tallarook township and 8-10kms from both Broadford and Seymour. We have the Rail Trail close by and also close by to Tabillk and Mitchellton Wineries. Wether you want to come out and just hang in the hammock, walk, jog,run explore or ride a bike, we cater for all. Getting AroundWhen required, pick up and drop off can be arranged from the Tallarook Train Station. There is an express train that travels numerous times a day from and to Melbourne. Airport pick ups can be arranged for a fee. Most of the property is 2wd accessible but more fun with 4wd Other Things to NoteDogs are welcome with prior arrangement only and are not aloud in bedrooms. Children/small motorbikes are welcome (with the use of helmets). We have the Tallarook State Forrest which is 1000s of acres where you can ride bigger bikes at your leisure. Guests must adhere to our strict no smoking policy (especially during fire ban season) and during fire band season there is to be no open fires at all. We are completely self contained and generate our own power from wind and solar so please be mindful of our limited resources. Our water comes from rain water and underground springs. On over cast days our back up generated will run to keep you comfortable. Additional guests will be charged accordingly for over night stays.

It is 3kms from Tallarook where people begin their Victorian rail trail adventure and explore the local wineries and markets. Additional beds on request. Jocks Cabin is located on our property approximately 50meters from our home. There is a BBQ on the deck for guests who would like to cook themselves up a feast.     The SpaceBTB's Farmstay 4 is located in the "Casita" which is our cabin on the farm. This building contains two private farmstays (3 & 4). Farmstay 4 contains two bedrooms with queen size bed in one, and a queen size bed and single bed in the other. The bathroom is private, contains a bath and shower, and only shared between these two rooms. This farmstay also has a private lounge room with a double sofa bed, gas heater and a basic kitchenette (stove top, kettle, pots, fry pans, plates and cups are available). Please note due to being off-grid, there is no fridge, oven, toaster, microwave or air conditioner. This farmstay has lockable private entry. Blue Tongue Berries (BTB) is a 20 acre organic blueberry farm located near Seymour in Central Victoria. We farm premium quality organic blueberries and sell to the local region. We also produce seasonal fruit, vegetables, free-range eggs and lamb. We believe in self-sufficient living and produce our own food, power and water. The farm is completely off the grid and runs on a hybrid solar and wind power system. Our main building is constructed from strawbales and has an energy efficient design. The property overlooks the stunning Tallarook Ranges and is a short distance from the Goulburn River, Lake Nagambie and several popular wineries. The fully serviced town of Seymour with a population of over 6000 is only 5 minutes drive away and contains a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and entertainment.     The SpaceBTB's Farmstay 1 is located in the "Hacienda" which is our main building on the farm and is a hotel style private guest room with ensuite. The Hacienda is a bespoke strawbale constructed building which encompasses a passive heating and cooling design. This room has lockable private entry and access to the Great Hall lounge. Blue Tongue Berries (BTB) is a 20 acre organic blueberry farm located near Seymour in Central Victoria. We farm premium quality organic blueberries and sell to the local region. We also produce seasonal fruit, vegetables, free-range eggs and lamb. We believe in self-sufficient living and produce our own food, power and water. The farm is completely off the grid and runs on a hybrid solar and wind power system. Our main building is constructed from strawbales and has an energy efficient design. The property overlooks the stunning Tallarook Ranges and is a short distance from the Goulburn River, Lake Nagambie and several popular wineries. The fully serviced town of Seymour with a population of over 6000 is only 5 minutes drive away and contains a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and entertainment. There is a second spare room with a couch and desk which guests are able to use as their own personal space. Guest AccessMy place is close to Anzac Avenue which is one of the main streets of Seymour. Only a few minutes walk to the I.G.A and a 5 minute walk to the Railway Station and the shopping plazas. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers, Guests are welcome to park their car off the street in the driveway or on the front lawn. Interaction with GuestsI live in the house intermittently with work so I may or may not be present and occasionally I work night shift. I am always happy to be contacted by phone and can hopefully assist you with any problems or concerns. The NeighborhoodHighly recommend the Railway Hotel as a favourite for dinner, otherwise a short drive out to Avenel to try some of the local wineries and woodfire pizzas is always a must. Getting AroundIt is just a short walk down the hill to the train station and there is a bus from the end of the street. There is taxi service in town between 6am to around 1am. Other Things to NoteThis is a shared house, not a full house rental so guests will not have private use of the entire house.

      Cute 2 bedroom cottage retreat in the historical heart of Avenel situated on a large block with garden. Full facilities includes working kitchen, laundry and bathroom. The front is on historical Bank St, with hotel, legendary pizzaria and historical buildings nearby. The rear looks onto pasture with sheep or cows with peppercorn and elm trees. Avenel is 10-20 minutes drive from 3 of Victoria's best wineries, Tabilk, Michelton and Plunketts, all of which serve exceptional weekend lunches and cellar door. Breakfast is available at Annies' across the road. If that does not sate your appetite, Avenel is a pleasant country drive of 30 minutes to the famous Heathcote wineries. Avenel is in the heart of one of Victorias horse breeding centres, and is near the home of Black Caviar. Find the grave of Red Kelly, father of Ned in the Avenel Cemetary, check out the historical bridge, wander the country lanes. A great stay for country bicycle riders and near some of Victorias best rail trails.

          Situated in the heart of Avenal on historic Bank St, the Bank St Cottage is the perfect place for a quiet relaxing weekend. You can explore the town and the historic six-arch sandstone bridge, search for Red kellys grave (father of Ned Kelly) in the old cemetary, check out the original Cobb&Co coach house, or stroll the country lanes and byways. If you are feeling peckish, Avenel is 20 minutes drive from 2 of Victorias best wineries, Mitcheltons, Tahbilk and Fowels is 3 mins drive. All 3 wineries have excellent restaurants and cellar door. Or if your are feeling more adventourous, the famous Heathcote wineries are a 30 minute country drive. Follow in Ned Kellys wake and take a breathtaking drive through Kelly Country. Rocky granite outcrops separate the breathtaking countryside on the way to The Ruffy Produce Store, a highly recommended eatery. Its a lovely drive. Check out the waterfalls at Gooram Falls and follow The Hughes Creek back to Avenel. There is a popular story of how the young Kelly saved a boy from drowning in the local creek. It is said that he was rewarded with a green sash which he wore the day he was shot. Certainly there is evidence that Ned Kelly recorded his father's death at the local Court House. Fortunately, after an exhausting day sampling the regions fabloulous food and wine, you can sit back at our Avenel cottage retreat, light a fire, and recover from the days journeys with a fantastic pizza from the legendary Bank St Pizzaria 2 doors away, or sample some of Scotty's produce from Avenel Meats across the road. The cottage is a short walk from the Harvest Home boutique hotel, train station and post office Facilities The Master bedroom has a comfortable King sized bed, built in robe and sitting area. The sun comes through the Edwardian stained glass window, making a lovely retreat to read the papers or enjoy breakfast. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed, and the house is perfect for a group of three guests. Linen, doonas and towells are provided along with soaps and shampoos. Full modern kitchen facilities include the stove and gas cooktop, fridge, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, and of course cutlery and cooking equipment. The modern bathroom has shower, toilet and sink. The sitting room has a french dining table for 6, air conditioner, wood fire heater and 42" TV.           Our cottage is fully self-contained. There is a kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms and a lounge area. The master bedroom has a queen sized four poster bed. The second bedroom has two single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, gas stove with all basic essentials provided such as tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil and all utensils. The lounge area consist of dining table, couches, LCD TV, and open fire. All towels and bed linen are provied. The alfresco areas is equipped with gas BBQ, table and chairs, designated camp fire area. Also outside, there is a separate toilet block, consisting of a toilet and two showers and also a laundry. (must be booked as an additional feature, by request only) The cabin is in the heart of the farm, surrounded by paddocks which home our goats, alpacas, sheep, pigs and miniature ponies. You have access to 2km of Sunday Creek frontage. There are many activities which you are welcome to take part in - helping us out on the farm, yabbying, fishing, skeet shooting and quad bike tours (some of these come at an extra cost) Any damages/breakages are made during your stay, you will be liable for the cost of repairs.

              Brae mar is situated in Seymour, quiet country town set near the Goulburn river. We are close to the main town centre which has a variety of restaurants and hotels to choose from. The Cottage is self contained but does not have cooking facilities, oven or cook top. we supply continental breakfast for our guests as well as coffee and tea items. Seymour has two great wineries that are 25 mins from our cottage, Mitchelton and Chateau Tabhilk both have restaurants and certainly some great Victorian Wine to try. If you just need a weekend to chill out we are only 1 hour from Melbourne CBD or if your traveling from Sydney great place to rest up before heading down to Melbourne.
