Fully equipped kitchen with condiments, herbs, spices & cookware, including BBQ equipment, baking dishes, wine glasses, coffee plunger and temperature-display kettle. The open plan living overlooks a lovely garden and deck area through a wall of windows. The master bedroom looks onto the private front yard, and the 2nd bedroom has a leafy aspect. The single bed alcove, lounge sofa bed and rattan chaise longue offer a variety of sleeping options for the bigger family gathering. The decking, wooden & gas BBQs and private backyard offer perfect outdoor living for most of the year, while the wood fire, reverse-cycle air conditioner and upright heaters provide comfy warmth on your way back from a quiet beach stroll in winter. Our home is self catering, though there are a few items around. There are some basic first aid items in the bathroom cabinet. All doonas, pillows and spares are provided. BYO LINEN & TOWELS (We do have some spare linen/towels available for an additional fee of $10 per person if you forget). For longer stays, the laundry has a front-loading washing machine & dryer, and there is a clothes line in the garden. Personal hotspot internet coverage is available and USB charging ports are in the lounge. There is off-street driveway parking, and the local bus to Frankston stops 100m from the house. There will usually be someone available by phone throughout your stay, but it's your holiday... the entire house is yours! We are located one side street from the beach reserve and 250m from the local cafe and restaurant. Somers Yacht Club is just down the road, and dolphin-spotting is a regular occurance near the clubhouse. We also have koalas, kookaburras, blue-tongue lizards and possums as part of our local wildlife, along with a wonderful array of small birds, especially along the coastal foreshore. Balnarring shops are a 5mins drive away, where you can grab fish 'n chips, organic veggies & take-away meals, hire a dvd, get groceries or dine out at French or Italian Bistro. Close by are Red Hill, Balnarring & Bittern markets, numerous wineries, breweries, restaurants, farmgate produce, water sports, horse-riding, golf ranges, mineral spas, mazes, lookouts, national parks, ferries and many other attractions. Public Transport from the CBD is a train to Frankston and the 782 bus to Somers, stopping less than a minute's walk from our front door. The Peninsula Freeway is 15 mins away, making the city very accessible. Some days blocked off on the calendar ARE negotiable, so please do enquire! The SpaceAkron Beach House is a relaxed 4 bedroom, 2 living room, 2 bathroom house in Somers. It is pet-friendly by negotiation The house is just 550 metres (about a 7 min walk) from the best swimming beach in Somers, the yacht club and the Somers General Store. It is positioned in the best part of Somers: the original estate amid a beautiful natural bush setting, just minutes from the leash-free dog park, tennis club and children's playground. The house has a huge fully fenced yard with plenty of lawn for the kids to play games on, and a slide, swing-set and small sand-pit. There is a gorgeous deck with a table setting for 8 and a brand new gas BBQ. There is even an outdoor sink. Local koalas have been known to make themselves at home in the back garden! The house has an open plan living area and kitchen that opens up to the deck. There is a second lounge room that leads to a hallway, with a gorgeous open fireplace, off which run the 4 bedrooms and the main bathroom. The bedrooms and lounge room are newly carpeted. There are 4 bedrooms that sleep 8 people as follows: Bedroom 1: 1 x queen bed Bedroom 2: 1 x queen bed Bedroom 3: 2 x single beds (one is a trundle and can be raised to same height as single to create a double bed if desired) Bedroom 4: 1 x bunk bed (sleeps 2) Each bedroom has drawers and a wardrobe or clothes rack. There is a large open fireplace for use in the winter, with wood supplied. All rooms also have heaters, as well as ceiling fans or portable fans. There is also a portable cooling unit for use in the summer. The 2 generous living spaces each have comfortable couches, and a flat-screen TV with DVD player and USB ports. There is also an iPod docking station with speakers and a portable CD player . A selection of CDs and board games are available to use. The kitchen is equipped with everything that you need to prepare food for a large family, including and oven and grill, 2 fridges, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, sandwich toaster, all pots/pans, cutlery, crockery, utensils, kettle, coffee plunger etc. There is a large dining table that seats 8 people, as well as a high chair. The bathroom has a shower over bath and a separate toilet. There are bath toys for kids to play with. There is a laundry with a washer and dryer, and a clothes line in the yard. There is a second toilet and shower off the laundry, which is great for rinsing off after a trip to the beach. The house is well equipped for a family or group, with a small selection of children's books, toys, DVDs and outside play equipment for young children. Guest AccessWe provide doonas, blankets and pillows for each bed, but you need to bring your own linen (including doona covers) and towels. Interaction with GuestsWe will not be around - the house is all yours! The NeighborhoodSomers is an ideal spot for a beach holiday. Just an hour from Melbourne, it boasts one of the best bay beaches on the Mornington Peninsula. It is regularly visited by a family of dolphins that you may even get to swim with! The recently renovated Somers General Store is a great place for coffee or breakfast, and Balnarring Village is only 5 minutes up the road for all your daily needs. Award winning restaurants and wineries are only a short drive away. There are many things to see and do on the Mornington Peninsula. Pick berries at Main Ridge, enjoy a spa at the Peninsula Hot Springs, go kite-surfing at Point Leo beach, see native animals at the Moonlit Sanctuary - the opportunities are endless.

The SpaceStudio Two Flexible in design - 2, 4 or 6 guests. This studio has a spacious light wood lined interior with large sliding doors opening onto a large open air deck. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to make your food preparation a delight. There are BBQ facilities in the gardens for that fresh air experience. This studio has a dining area to chill out over breakfast with the morning paper or in the evening chatting over a glass of wine with dinner. The lounge area has large picture windows giving a wonderful view of the mature gum trees, a fire where you can snuggle up and feel contented watching foxtel or getting lost in a good book. The private bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed with quality linen & cotton bedding with your choice of natural woolen blankets or a warm cozy duvet. There is a queen size daybed in the living area for a third or fourth guest. The sofas can also convert into a double bed for extra guests. The en-suite has a walk in shower, soft fluffy towels, bathrobes and candles for the romantics. There is also a bath for that totally relaxing experience. Guest AccessThere is a shared Laundry with washing machine & dryer. Each unit has an Iron & Ironing board. There is a hair dryer in both units. Interaction with GuestsWe live on the property. For sailing enthusiasts the Somers Yacht Club is a 20 min stroll or 2 min drive. The nearby village of Balnarring provides guests with all necessary services including supermarket, butcher, cafes, restaurants and tavern. The village centre is a 5 min drive and can also be accessed from Somers via the walking / bike track. Red Hill is 10 min drive away offering guests a taste of some of Victoria's best wineries, restaurants and gourmet produce. The house is also within easy reach of the renowned golf courses, surf hot spots and scenic coastal towns of the Mornington Peninsula.     The SpaceWIMBLEDON PLACE: 2bdrm unit with surprising living space & yard. Gorgeous views. In a quiet location, 3kms from Cowes, the main shopping & restaurant area. Well located to beaches & everything on the Island. Flat block, single story, no stairs. Spa operational from 12th June. A large two bedroom unit; master with queen size bed & ensuite; a good sized 2nd bedroom with double bed and single trundle bed. An additional very large family bathroom. Amazing views and located enough out of Cowes to be away from holiday madness, but still amazingly well located to everything on the Island. 4.3kms to the Grand Prix Track. Single story property on flat block with no stairs. Guests will have a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, outdoor dining area, huge yard, bathroom + ensuite, 2 living rooms, surfing gear can be supplied. We live in the house next door, but respect the privacy of our guests and allow them to initiate as much or little contact as they like. Guests report that they the unit is very private and our proximity isn't an issue. We love the quiet, amazing views and sunsets and wildlife including regular wallabies, cockatoos, dairy cows over the fence and birdlife. We are close enough to Cowes to duck in at a moments notice, but also be removed from the holiday bedlam. A bus stop is located about 1km from the house. Cars can be parked immediately outside the unit. - Experienced holiday rental owners with consistent great reviews...check them out! We aim to provide our guests with a great experience! - Check in and out times will be flexible where there are back to back bookings - To keep nightly costs down - guests supply own top and bottom sheets, pillow cases and towels OR these can be hired for $15 per person. All beds have a mattress protector, electric blanket, doona with cover and spare blanket. Pillows have pillow protectors and there are plenty of spare pillows to find one that you like. Turn right into Anchorage Rd just before the local store. Take the first left into Lyall St and then the third on the right is Aloha Drive. We are number 15. Off street parking is available. Access is via a private walk way to the right of the house taking you to the back of the property and the staircase to your accommodation. Interaction with GuestsWe live in the main house which is completly seperate and we will respect your privacy. However we are on hand should you need anything. The NeighborhoodVentnor is central to many attractions at the far end of Phillip Island. It is a quiet suburb with a handy general store/bottle shop near by. The beach which is just at the end of Aloha Drive and of which I walk each day is never busy and most mornings I'm lucky enough to have it to myself! If the wind is blowing in the wrong direction you can head across the island to Kitty Miller or Berry's beaches which are about 10 minutes by car. On the way stop into Phillip Island Winery for yummy platters and taste their award winning wines. It is close to the Nobbies and the Penguin Parade about 10 minutes by car and the Phillip Island Circuit is also approximately a 10 minute drive. Getting AroundIf you are here during one of the events at either the Phillip Island Circuit or the Woolamai Races, there is a shuttlebus that operates with a bus stop on the corner of Lyall and Anchorage Rd. Majority of the neighbours are permanent residents meaning that there isn't loud holiday parties or people coming and going. This is our family holiday house and we have enjoyed many summers here with relaxing days on the beach and BBQ's in the warm evenings.. we hope you have the same enjoyable experience!       The SpaceRed Rocks house is situated in an older neighbourhood of Phillip Island, away from the new subdivisions, and surrounded by trees on a quiet unpaved street with little traffic or noise and lots of local birdlife. An ideal location for a short stay or longer visit on the island. The house is a modest family home, with 2 bedrooms and large open plan living, kitchen and dining area. It's been in our family for over 15 years. There is a large patio area, ideal for entertaining, outdoor meals in summer, and for families with small children or pets. A large grassy private backyard adjoins the patio. The main town of Cowes is only 4km / 10 minutes drive away, or you can take a longer walk along the beach in to town. The Penguin Parade and Seal Rocks are an easy 15 minute drive away, or you can spot koalas at the Ventnor Koala Reserve, or wallabies nearby at Flynn's beach. The Grand Prix Circuit is also only 10 minutes drive from the house. It is a short walk to Red Rocks beach, with views across to the Mornington Peninsula, which is an ideal for a day out for families, or for your morning run. For surfers it is a short drive to the more protected reef breaks such as Cat Bay, Flynn's, Right Point, Berries and Kitty Miller. A little further away are Smith's Beach where there is a surf school, and the Woolamai coast line, part of the National Surfing Reserve. Always a quiet place to relax or a happening place to participate in the activities of that moment. And that is only the beaches. There are many other things to do, see and experience on the island. Coolart is around the corner, or take 10 minutes to go to any number of local wineries, Red Hill, the Maze, Horseback winery tours, strawberry farms etc. Peninsula Spa is a 25 minute drive through glorious country. And it's all only a little over an hour from Melbourne. Getting AroundThe Flinders-Frankston 782 bus (via Balnarring and Bittern) stops at the corner. There is a train station at Bittern which will connect you to Melbourne trains at Frankston. Balnarring shopping centre is a 5 minute drive away and the Somers general store has all essentials. Bicycle paths connect you to the entire peninsula and there are even a couple of bikes and helmets you can use (at your own risk). You can walk for miles and miles along the beach. In total there are 3 beds. One of them is Queen-sized, and is in the guest bedroom. Two additional double futon beds are in the living area. The upstairs bedroom is not for guest use. Fresh linen and towels will be provided, with various pillow and duvet options. Open plan living /dining and kitchen with all you need for cooking at home. The house is 10km from Cowes central where you will find a diverse choice of awesome Cafes and Restaurants and Take-Aways, Supermarkets, Farmer's Markets, Craft Markets, Organic Shops, Boutique Clothing and Specialty shops. Living room has a DVD player / screen and other inputs, plus television. Wifi / ADSL Internet for all your Netflix needs. Bring your own devices to stream things from Wifi. In cold weather the whole house quickly gets nice & toasty with a fire burning in the wood-heater. The house also remains wonderfully cool in summer, plus nice sea breezes. It has been set up to offer a fantastic holiday for families. 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8-10), 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas and a large deck with sea views!! Upstairs is an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge room. There's a flat screen TV with many digital channels; also a DVD player and an IPOD music system. There's a large deck with BBQ, umbrella and out door setting - a perfect place to relax and have a glass of wine and enjoy the views. Upstairs also boasts a main bedroom & another smaller bedroom with a queen size beds, plus a bathroom and separate toilet. There is also a cooling and heating system upstairs. Downstairs is a lounge area with another flat screen TV & stereo. The large single room has 2 bunk beds and an additional single bed.
