The SpaceYour accommodation is on the 2nd Floor of our Home where you will not be disturbed. Your accommodation is a Queen Size bedroom; separate Bathroom, toilet and Shower Room; separate sitting room. We live on the lower floor of the house leaving guests to enjoy their own space on the upper floor. Access to the guest area is in the front door of our home and up one flight of stairs. The Guest accommodation is not self contained in the true sense, but you will not be disturbed. Car parking is available on site. Your lounge room has for your use: Refrigerator TV with DVD player ipod docking station Kettle Toaster Crockery, Cutlery and Glassware, including wine glasses Beer and wine opener!! Selection of DVDs Selection of Books Maps and Tourist information Board games International plug adaptor Unlimited quality Tea and Coffee Chilled water and Sparkling water Daily nibbles and treats! Free unlimited wi-fi access We are unable to offer in-house cooking facilities. A weber Q is available on the back deck for a BBQ meal or we will happily re-heat your own pre-prepared food for you, Free fast wi-fi is available throughout the house and on the deck. The Bathroom is supplied with Mt Romance Soap, hand and body wash. Shampoo and full set of quality towels. The new Queen size bed features quality linen and a dual control electric blanket if you find the Albany winter nights cold! Breakfast sourced from local produce is cooked to order and served in your lounge or out on the deck in summer. A daily (changing) menu is supplied every day and this is all included in the nightly price for Pukekos Nest. Saturday mornings a self-help breakfast is supplied. Guest AccessOur home is located approx 3.5kms from the Center of Town. Emu Point and Middleton Beach are within a short easy drive, or a flat level walk to either! The Guest accommodation is not self contained. Guests are provided with keys to the front door so they may come and go as they wish and a key to the bedroom which is lockable. Access is up an external staircase into our house and then an internal staircase to the top floor. Guest are welcome to use any of our outside areas. We have several protected sunny spots to while away a relaxing breakfast or rest in the summer! We are approved by the local Council to operate as a BnB and hold property and public liability insurance coverage for our guests. We are not able to offer in-house cooking facilities. At times we can offer laundry facilities. Interaction with GuestsWe are always happy to pass on our local knowledge to guests to enhance their stay in Albany and The Great Southern/ We can provide you with maps, ideas for day trips and places to eat. We'll even tell you our favourite secret spots! Find us on the most popular social media site with a quick search! The NeighborhoodThe area is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful natural bush and a plethora of native animals and birds. There is very little road traffic. Be aware that our location is very much a bush setting, but only minutes by car from the beach or CBD for a night out! Consequently we have neither shops or restaurants on our doorstep. Middleton Beach and its facilities is only a walk away through bushland and wetlands. The upside to our location is the peace, quiet and wildlife that surrounds us. Parrots and currawongs visit, Carneby Cockatoos roost in the tall Redgums at the back - you'll know when they are there, their chatter is deafening!. Occasionally a roo will come and drink out of the pond and a Pukeko will be found on the driveway being skittish. In October/November, long neck turtles can be found making their up and through the property to lay their eggs higher up...we open the gates for them to make life easier..its a hard enough climb as it is!!! I have witnessed them laying eggs in the holes they dig at the bottom of the property...a very special experience. Getting AroundTo enjoy the area a car is really needed. Certainly for trips along the coast or inland. The area has much to offer, many activities and of course its renowned beauty, beaches, fishing, sailing, golf and of course fantastic food and wine! And now of course the National Anzac Center on Mt Adelaide! Other Things to NoteWe enjoy great food and wine in this area and only shop and buy locally grown, fresh and in season. Your Breakfast choices can vary day by day and season to season. All dependant on what is fresh, local and seasonal from our local farmers. The SpaceOur lovely home sits high on the hill overlooking King George Sound. A popular place is the warm sunroom to enjoy a coffee, breakfast or simply a quiet place to sit and relax while you watch whatever boating activity is happening in the Sound. Your private room has quality bedding to ensure a great nights sleep and your own bathroom is only three steps away. In the cooler months an electric blanket is available if you like to be extra cozy and warm. A second bedroom is available within the same booking upon request if required. There will be a large selection available for you to enjoy a continental breakfast each morning. Fresh fruit, selection of breads and muffins, cereal selections, fruit juice, jams, yoghurts and coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of teas. This is a great place for you to base yourself whether you are in Albany for a few days of leisure or perhaps visit on a regularly for business. Guest AccessYou have access to full kitchen facilities including an automatic coffee machine. You are free to use washing, ironing and laundry facilities. A big BBQ and outdoor area is available. The NeighborhoodOur home is in a quiet cul-de-sac street which is located between the town centre and the beach. Its a short 2.5 km walk to either Middleton Beach or Emu Point or just a few minutes drive. A large supermarket is located 1.5km away for any groceries you may want and the main shopping and town centre is approximately 4km. The hospital is less than 5 minute walk. Getting AroundAlbany is easy driving and tourist information is available in your room. There are public buses that operate from within a 2-3 min walk away that can take you to the town centre if required. Other Things to NoteMurray and I use Airbnb for our own travel arrangements so we have become very familiar with the things that make our stays enjoyable. We do our very best to give you all the comforts of home, information, assistance and hospitality that will ensure you have a great stay whether it be for business or leisure. We do have a cat called Muggles that is part of the family, but its unlikely you'll get to see him as he tends to make himself invisible whenever extra people are around.

The SpaceThe Castle Albany was built in 1870 by one of the early settlers Alexander Moir, and over the past few years we have lovingly restored it. The front of the home has high ceilings, original fire places and large jarrah, french windows. Care has been taken to bring it back to its original form. The large kitchen is central to the home and we have chosen quality utensils, pots,pans and dinner service as we too like nice things. The large fridge has cold filtered water and an ice maker for your convenience. At the rear of the property is a large deck, outdoor setting and a bbq for summer entertaining. Apartment 109 of the Foreshore House complex is situated in Albanys historic tourist precinct on Princess Royal Harbour, a minutes walk from the town centre. Just a short stroll away from the Albany Visitor Centre for your sight-seeing information, IGA Supermarket (open daily 7am-9pm for all your provisions), and the new Entertainment Centre and marina to take in the beautiful harbour sunset or enjoy a show and/or dinner. Albany is a port city in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, some 418 km SE of Perth, the state capital. Located high on a hill over the road from Bluff Rock Reserve, it is walking distance to local gourmet and supply shops close, and is a short drive to beaches, numerous good cafes and the CBD. The SpaceThe bedroom is right next to the front door so you don't have to walk through the house to get there. The bed is queen size and very comfy with a private ensuite bathroom. There is a tv so you can watch in bed if you are just wanting some rest. You are welcome to use my main lounge room also or go out onto the back deck for tea/ coffee etc. Guest AccessI usually meet guests but if not I provide easy instructions on how to find my house and where the key can be found. You will be provided with a key upon arrival and the wifi code; often a cup of tea or coffee if required! The bike path is just meters away from house which takes you to the beach or into town. Getting AroundYou will need a car or bicycle to get around from here. My place is on the way to Nanarup and Little Beach. Other Things to NoteThe cover picture is the beach close by but it is not out my window. It is a 12 minute walk. This is my home which is relaxed and comfy. It is not a five star hotel so please don't expect it to be. You will find it simple, friendly and comfortable.

It is a roomy 120 sq. meters in size. There are swings for the kids, they are welcome! No pets inside, but a large kennel is available for dogs. No smoking inside. Excellent laundry facilities available. You will have your own private alcove to sit outside and full access to enjoy our large patio. Complimentary breakfast food supplied for your first morning! Free wifi for downloading data. Little Grove is a quiet suburb, approx 10 km from Albany CBD. It is quite safe, close to a national park, beaches, golf course and The Gap!

      Stay in our home-style accomodation on the top floor of our Candian Cedar home in queen sized bedroom, separate Bathroom, separate toilet, separate shower together with a dedicated lounge area. These are all on the top floor of our home where you will not have to share any facilities or areas on this floor. It will be your own aerie!           The SpaceAmity Cottage is a very comfortable, fully self contained, deco style 3 bedroom cottage, located in the residential heart of inner city Albany. Facilities for 6 persons include 3 bedrooms, each with a Queensize bed and dual control electric blankets. A baby portacot and high chair is also provided free of charge, guests to provide their own cot linen and cot blankets. A large TV, NetFlix, DVD, and free WiFi Internet is provided. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, sunroom, bathroom (with bath / shower), second toilet in laundry, clothes dryer, patio with outdoors setting and a small electric BBQ. There's a reverse cycle Air Conditioner and plenty of hot water. All bed linen and towels are provided and have been professionaly cleaned. You only need to bring Beach Towels. Very safe area for parking no through road so very little traffic. Room 3 is our best room with expansive views of the Harbour and beyond. Sitting on the veranda in the evening watching the sun set or waking up and seeing the hills shrouded in mist is not unlike a fairy story. It really is a special part of the world. Guest AccessAccess is easy and parking available and all totally safe. We live in a very quiet part of the city with a no-thru road for access. Interaction with GuestsWe are always ready to interact with our guests, however we are mindful of their privacy and will only enter their rooms when they require something done. eg fresh towels etc. We always greet our guest with a warm welcome and breakfast provides such an opportunity. We generally offer help with food choices and important things to see. There is always a full breakfast available each morning with a variety of options. Getting AroundThere is limited public transport in the town but a good Taxi service available at most times. Other Things to NoteThere are many different attractions in Albany: During spring the wildflowers are truly awesome especially at the wind farm. Whale world an international attraction. The Forts museum just recently opened a new section on The Anzac tradition is state of the art facilitity. Little beach is listed as one of the top 10 beaches in Aus.           The SpaceClose to city centre whilst being set in a quiet and peaceful location and bush walks right at your back door. The famous Bibbulman Track is just 2 metres from our access road. We live on a no-thru road so traffic is at a minimum and we have plenty of room for parking. Getting AroundThere is limited public transport but a good taxi service as well as hire cars. However you will need a car if you are to visit the many attractions Albany has to offer. Other Things to NoteAlbany and the great southern is without doubt one of the most naturally beautiful parts of Australia.During summer it usually has a modest temperature range and because we are so close to the Harbour very few days are unbearably hot and even when it gets around the 39 to 40 degrees the water off the harbour keeps the house cool.

The complex has a security gate for cars that closes at night but we will give you an access pad which also allows you to get into the garage. We can add a small fridge to the room and we have a kettle and coffee press with cups. We have a friendly dog on the premises and other well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay and we have a kennel for them. Sorry, no dogs inside, for the consideration of other guests who may have allergies. We have ample parking on our block so if you have an RV or larger vehicle there is plenty of room for parking. Guest AccessYou will be in a seperate area to the house but if we are around you can organise to utilise our kitchen or laundry. There is a large verandah on the main house and a small area outside your space with chairs to use. There is a bbq available for use also Interaction with GuestsWe will generally be around and can show you lovely walks to the harbour or around the semi rural area which is really quiet and great to walk or cycle. We are only 5kms from the CBD where there are lots of resturants and we are on the way to Frenchman Bay which has the best swimming beaches. The NeighborhoodThe harbour is only 1km away and there is a great circuit walk there and back. On the way is the Great Southern Distillery which has great coffee and award winning whiskey. Getting AroundThere is no public transport to town so your own transport is important. Other Things to NoteWe re sorry but we do not have internet available. The upstairs is now fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom/laundry, and bedrooms. Our home is a piece of Albany's history. It was built in 1897 and is a large stone and double brick house. Originally built as a farmhouse it has all the quaint features you'd expect. Located 250m from the main shopping district, you can walk anywhere whilst staying with us! Guest AccessOur house is split level. I live with my husband and two cats downstairs in my own self contained area. I access my part of the house through the bottom door. Upstairs is fully contained with a large kitchen, micro wave oven and cooking facilities. This is what you as our guest will have full access to (barring other rooms ). There is a laundry. Shared bathroom and guest bedrooms. The access to this part of the house is through the main front door. Interaction with GuestsI live a very busy lifestyle, as I work full time as a nurse. I swim regularly after work with friends. In addition I regularly go to Perth to look after my grandchildren. With all these commitments I may not be around very much, but I am available on the phone and also you will hear me tinkering downstairs. The beaches on this peninsula are 5-10 10 kms away and are, we believe, amongst Albany's finest and maybe even the finest in the world ( but maybe we are biased!) .

I live with my husband and two cats downstairs in my own self contained area. I access my part of the house through the bottom door. The upstairs is fully contained also and this is what you as a guest will have full access to (barring other rooms ). The upstairs has a large kitchen, bathroom and guest bedrooms. The access to this part of the house is through the main front door. Interaction with GuestsI live a very busy lifestyle, as I work full time as a nurse. I also am busy with swimming with friends. In addition I regularly go to Perth to look after my grandson. With all these commitments I may not be around very much, but I am available on the phone and also you will hear me tinkering downstairs. I also spend a lot of time in the garden looking after my roses and veggies. The NeighborhoodWe live 250m from the main street in Albany. On this street you will find shops and cafe's (and I will be happy to recommend my favourites to you). It is a 10 minute walk to the harbour where you can enjoy such attractions as the ANZAC Peace Park, the historic Amity recreation, the museum, and walking along the jetty. Down this part of town is also our entertainment centre & Coffee for the early (EMAIL HIDDEN) Opens at 0600 As we are a corner house just down one road from the house is a Coles, which is located in the Albany Plaza & a 2-3 min walk down the other road is the Amcal chemist open till 2100 daily.
