Pedigreed Private dining and spa suites. Travelers have stopped for rest and refreshment at the hamlet of Mullalyup since the 1860's where innkeepers Thomas Maslin ran the Blackwood Inn. This tradition of hospitality continues today with the Innkeepers house created by your hosts George and Gillian Lang. Our pedigree in hospitality spans decades (we ran the Blackwood Inn next door for many years) and today we offer an exclusive experience for just two couples at a time which includes superb accommodation and private dining. The new Innkeepers House is built in the heritage style and offers the superb Davenport Spa Suite, blessed with a dreamy four poster bed, or the Maslin Spa Suite with a generous Queen bed. Each room has its own lounge with a gas log fire and a marvelous spa ensuite. Each room has its own entrance of a shady veranda where guests can enjoy their privacy. The only other character you'll meet is the Innkeepers adorable cat Ginger, the house mascot. What makes this experience so engaging for discerning guests is the private dining experience offered by your hosts. Having run one of regional WA's notable inns for many years our attention is now focused on giving guests a boutique dining experience. If your life includes a lot of dining in crowded restaurants, this exquisite candlelit, fireside repast of three generous courses will impress.

A beautiful pavilion with its own private garden, summer house and entry situated on an 120 year old property. Surrounded by mature European trees this is an escape from the pressures of the city with magnificent valley views in all directions. The extra good news is that this property is also pet friendly and your dog is very welcome. For small dogs, up to two dogs are welcome. Though this is negotiable - so if you have two large dogs, please contact us to discuss. There is no extra charge for bringing your pet and they are allowed indoors at all times. Rest and Relaxation The only sounds you will hear are from birds in the property's gardens - blue wrens, magpies, western honey eaters and silver eyes just four of some 60 species. Occasionally in summer you will hear the sounds of stone fruit being transported to market from the magnificent orchard alongside. It feels like Provence or Tuscany! Stunning valley views Floor to ceiling windows look down to the Balingup Brook bridge - from another, a majestic hill and valley falls away to the orchard. The private bathroom big window looks out onto the summer house and secluded courtyard. As you take a bath you commune with nature.
