Other Things to NoteWe have 2 extra bedrooms, one adjacent to the main bedroom (at extra cost) and another bedroom (Garden View room, listed seperately) with its own bathroom and King size bed (convertible to 2 singles). These are available at extra cost if you have children or your own guests. This in effect can make into a 3 bedroom apartment, if required.     I have a beautiful character house located in COMO BEACH, close to the city and well anywhere in Perth. I have a spare bedroom which houses a queen size bed. You will have your own bathroom as well as sharing the living spaces, which include lounge and a massive kitchen. Easy access to public transport and the beautiful Swan River! I have a dog who is adorable of course! My house is a 5-10 minute walk from the local shops and train station and the Swan River. The Zoo is on the same road as my house and there is easy access to public transport to get to all area's of Perth.

    The SpaceThe house is a free standing villa. It has a great living room area and the master bedroom has a super comfortable king size bed with plenty of room. The spare room is a nursery. It is set up with a cot and change table. We have a comfortable spare matters that can be placed in this room if required. Overall, the energy and lighting in the house make it comfortable and cosy. The entire house and a small eating area outside. As much or as little as the guests require. It's quiet, close to a lovely park with an awesome playground. Other Things to NoteThe tv can be turned on by switching on the power switch underneath the right hand side of the monitor. When using the shower please ensure to have the hot water tap turned all the way up so that the heating does not cut out during your shower.

Getting AroundThere is a bus stop on the corner that will take you to the city busport in 10 minutes and also direct to Curtin University. A bike path starts just outside the building. Curtin University is only a five minute walk from my home and the Collier Park 18 hole golf course and Perth Lawn Tennis Club are just a few streets away. Como is also close to the Swan and Canning rivers and there are some really nice parks and places to go walking, running, and cycling - or perhaps hire a kayak or a catamaran and get out on the river. There is a lovely coffee shop, beautiful gift shop, plus a convenience store just a few minutes walk away. Nearby attractions include: Curtin & Burswood Outdoor Cinemas, the Swan River & Ferry trips, Kings Park, Perth Zoo, Crown Casino, City, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and shopping precincts. Getting AroundIt's a 10 minute drive to the city. Public bus transport is available within a 5 minute walk and the Canning train station is just a few kms away - timetables available for your convenience.       The SpaceThe compact house is light and bright within a garden suburb setting. The spaces flow together and all converge on the shaded entertainment courtyard. The fully rennovated space is great in this much sort after central location. BEDROOMS There is a queen sized bed in the master bedroom with adjacent bathroom. The linen is light and colourful to compliment the space and very comfortable with the 500 thread count sheets. A spare blanket is stored in the wardrobe with spare towels for longer stays. The second bedroom has a brand new double bed with complimenting light linen and lovely garden view. A Porta-Cot can be arranged for travel with small children. BATHROOM The bathroom comes off the small hallway and has a seperate shower and toilet (as you would hope and expect!). I provide shampoo and body wash in the shower, with premium Australian hand soap for the vanity. There is also a hairdryer just in case you get caught short before an event! LIVING ROOM The 3 seat sofa and side chair provides an ideal spot to rest and put your feet up after a long day working or seeing the sights. The TV has free to air stations and unlimited WIFI internet is available. Reverse cycle airconditioning is great for the hot summer days or cool winter nights. DINING ROOM Seating for 4 is provided with te afternoon sun streaming in the table for those who love the rays whilst reading a newspaper. KITCHEN The kitchen is equipped for a coffee or tea through to a full meal. Frypans, chopping boards along with plates and cutlery are provided. I always make sure a small carton of milk in the fridge for your arrival, just in case you can't get to the shops until the morning. The kitchen has a large fridge and dishwasher along with oven and gas cooktop. LAUNDRY There is a washing machine with powder and iron & board. There are clothes hourses for smalls and an outside line for larger items. Guest AccessFree car parking is available for 2 cars with ample free on street bays. The house is secure with screen doors and locked gates. Interaction with GuestsI work and live nearby the house so can assist with any meet and greet for first time travellers to Perth. If this is not necessary, a lock box can be arranged on site for simple 24hr access at a time that suits. The NeighborhoodThe house is located in Como, directly below South perth where there are ample food and beverage opportunities. Walks down to the river are short and many busses stop nearby for trips to the city or fremantle. There are conveinience stores open until late along with Perths largest number of Pizza shops within a weirdly close proximity (not quite sure why there are so many!). Getting AroundCar transport is best, alternatively the 34 and 32 bus head into the city with the 106 heading to Fremantle. Taxi or Uber are great for short trips into teh city for dinner or drinks.

Fremantle is a 25 minute drive where you can enjoy such restaurants as Cicerellos and Kailis situated on the waterfront. Enjoy their delicious fish and chip meals and platters. Burswood Crown Casino is a 15 minute drive away. If you love wine, then the Swan Valley is the place to visit with easy access along Great Eastern Highway, through Midland. There are many places to visit in the Swan Valley such as wineries, two Chocolate Factories, Yahava Coffee shop, cheese factories and many more. The Swan River and Canning River beautify the views of our city. You can take a ferry ride up the Swan River to the Swan Valley area. Lunch is provided. Or, if you prefer, take a ferry ride to Fremantle or across to Rottnest Island as a day trip or stay a night or two. Getting AroundPublic transport is close by with a bus stand 2 minutes walk around the corner. A ten minute walk will get you to the train station which is only one stop from the city. There are parking facilities near the station in the suburban street. The ferry which is ten minutes drive from us will take you into the city.

                The SpaceFormally a post WW2 nurses post this early 1950s complex has beautiful gardens charming internal spaces and quality fitout. It was refurbished in 2005 but it still carries through some art deco style. The complex is fully secure with a electric gate. The home is located on the ground floor with an incredible private garden sanctuary that is tranquill and relaxing with good northern aspect. It has high ceilings, polished jarrah floor boards and quality joinery with stone bench tops. Capture the breezes though the louvres with the water feature drowning the buzz of city life. Turn the stereo on and enjoy lazying around out here with a platter after a day of exploring!! The master bedroom is large and outlook into the private sunken garden. The second bedroom is a more casual affair with a very comfy adjustable designer sofa bed (it is firm but i love snoozing on it while reading some of the art cultural or architecture books). Its a space that transforms from a second living,study,craft, reading room to bedroom at night. Inside the seperate dining and kitchen can seat upto 8 but is best with 6. A large fridge is in there and there will be plenty of space. A seperate small freezer section will be made available and theres always plenty of ice. The living room has super comfy vintage couches that are in immaculate condition(and clean). Throw a dvd on, or play some playstation or just watch the news the space is very relaxed. Bathrooms includes the laundry is large and easy to use. Guest AccessAs the italians would say " mi casa su casa" which means my house is your house. This means that anything without a lock on can be used. I have body boards, kayak and snorkelling equip if you would like to use. Bus number 30 and 31 can be caught at the bus stop nearest to the corner of Preston Street and Labouchere Road (on the same side as the shopping centre).
