It is only a 5 min walk to The Herdsman Lake Tavern, BWS, Glendalough Shopping Center (IGA, Pharmacy, Hairdresser, Newsagents) & public transport. You'll feel right at home with the 'Pear'fect Pantry Cafe practically at your doorstep, and only an 8 minute drive from Perth's beautiful beaches and the heart of Subiaco & Leederville, which have some of Perth's best restaurants, cafe's, bars, pubs and shops. There is public transport available directly in front of the complex, which gives you access to all areas and attractions in Perth. Getting AroundOur apartment is located right near a bus stop that takes you straight into the city. Free parking is available at the rear of the complex if you have a car or motorcycle. It is about a $40-$50 taxi ride from the Domestic and International airports to the apartment. Alternatively you can arrange transport with Ellie for a smaller fee than a taxi. The SpaceI finally sorted out some WiFi: we get to share about 20gb per month, so it will be fine for your emails, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), online banking and the like but if you like to stream movies or TV, or like online gaming, we might end up running out. Its a small but clean comfy room in a unit in a large complex on a pleasant, leafy street. The complex backs onto Herdsman Lake and is just across from Lake Monger, one of the most beautiful walk routes in Perth. We don't have aircon, only fans, but its top floor so we do catch a breeze. Location: slightly less than 2km from Subiaco central, about the same from Leederville strip, a 12 minute walk from Glendalough train station and theres a bus to the city right outside. Cinema and Westfield shopping is on the other side of the lake. You will be sharing with me: mid 40s UK female. I'm not a staid old lady, so don't assume that if you're a youngster, you won't be welcome. We are next door to a pub with a decent bistro too, if you don't fancy cooking. Theres a massive bathroom. Bit of a waste of space, really. Guest AccessThere is non-allocated covered parking, so there will be a spot for your car. A pedestrian gate buzzer comes with your keys. I have a decent TV but no Foxtel, I don't watch enough to justify it. The sofa is really comfortable, there is an office space for use if you need it, and an empty shelf in the food cupboard and the fridge for your stuff. I'm a decent cook, so you might get lucky. Tea/Coffee is on offer in the mornings, but breakfast isn't, you're on your own there :) There is a gas station and IGA about 6 minutes walk away on the way to Glendalough, with a pizza shop, subway, bottle shop. Theres a lunchbar too but they have offensively bad chips. Interaction with GuestsI am around in the evenings a bit after the day is done, but I am easy whether you want to chat and watch TV in the lounge or be in your room. I wont get in the way if you need to work, as there is an office space off the lounge for you to beaver away in if needed. The NeighborhoodIts very green, leafy and tree-ey around here; there are two beautiful lakes and we are a city to surf suburb that borders posh Subiaco and trendy Leederville with all the fabulous cafes and venues they have there. So whether you are a shopper, nature lover or café society face, there's something nearby for you. Getting AroundBus stop that shuttles between Glendalough station and Perth central is right outside the gates. Glendalough lies on the North-South train line and is 3 stops out of the city centre where you can change for everywhere. If you hire a car, there is parking. I get around on a bike and generally head south to Subiaco, as the route is beautiful around the lake. So maybe borrow/hire a bike because around here is just gorgeous for that. Other Things to NoteI occasionally foster small kittens that need a bit of help getting a start in life. They generally aren't much hassle, and I clean up after them as much as possible so unless you hate cats or are allergic to them, they shouldn't trouble you. Just check with me if there are likely to be any: sometimes I don't have any for a couple of weeks.

      The SpaceThe space is small but light and airy, cool during the summer and close enough to all that Perth has to offer! Scarborough beach is a 15 minute buss ride and the city is a stone's through. The bedroom has a converter bed which allows for you to have either single or double bed, and a cupboard to hang all your necessaries! Guest AccessThe only room off limits is the main bedroom, the rest of the house is yours at your leisure... Interaction with GuestsI work full time, so during the week I am not at home. You'll have a key and remote to come and go as you will. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is vibrant! We are situated on a large park which provides for a fantastic early morning walk, it's roughly 11km around the lake and all sort of wildlife come to greet you! There's also another lake across the road which houses some beautiful black swans and for the not so enthusiastic, it's about 4km around. The shops are only a stones through away and for the serious shopper, the city is about 15mins or so by bus. The public transport pickup and drop off location is right by the front of the complex, so just need to get your Trans Perth application and you're on you're way!

The townhouse itself is a nice 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom place with a beautiful courtyard and public transport right on the doorstep. Guest AccessYou will have a private room (with queen size bed), your own set of keys, fast WiFi (although please don't use it for streaming videos or music due to me only having a small monthly data allowance) and a shared bathroom, laundry, kitchen, etc. The only room that is off limits is the main bedroom (mine). The rest of the house is yours to be enjoyed at your leisure. Interaction with GuestsYou can choose to interact with me as much or as little as you like. Due to my work, I am generally away during the day. However, if you have any queries I am only a quick phone call or email away. You'll have a key to come and go as you please and there is an undercover car bay available if you want to use it. The NeighborhoodThe place is situated on the edge of a large park and lake (Herdsman Lake), which provides for a fantastic early morning walk or run (it's about 11km around the lake and there is all sorts of native wildlife to see). There's another lake (Lake Monger) just across the road, which has some beautiful black swans and is only about 3km around. The local shops are within easy walking distance (~5 minutes) and the city is only about 15 minutes away by bus. Getting AroundThe public transport pickup and drop off location is right by the front of the complex, so you can be on your way to the city within minutes of walking out the front. Alternatively, using Uber is really cheap and extremely quick. There is an undercover car bay here for your use too if you would like to use it.               The SpaceEnjoy this beautifully furnished boutique townhouse with an airy and spacious master bedroom and free WIFI internet connection. Both heating and cooling are available on the ground floor and in the master bedroom. Situated in a modern complex with only 8 units, access to the complex is via security gates and there is undercover parking for one car right next to the unit. Short walk to both train and bus as well as bakery and supermarket. Though tucked away in a quiet street, it is only 2 minutes drive to the freeway and another 5 to the CBD. The master bedroom is very spacious and features a queen bed. Living area adjoining master bedroom has a double-sized sofa bed and panelled screen is available to provide some privacy.
