The SpaceThe room is simple and pleasant with a very comfortable bed and all that is necessary. Our house is aesthetically pleasing throughout, quiet, calm, very clean and very comfortable. We love our home and enjoy having others share it with us. There is tea and coffee (espresso) and a microwave available in the kitchen. You have the use of our living room which we rarely use, and which has a working fireplace for cool winter evenings. In the bathroom we provide soap, shampoo, hotel style dressing gowns, hair dryer, etc. The bathroom is almost exclusively yours as Inge and I use our outside hot and cold shower all year round. We only use natural products in both our home and garden making our environment hypoallergenic and toxin free. Our dog does not shed his hair and is hypoallergenic. Please note that we do not serve breakfast. There are numerous cafes, restaurants, deli (The Boatshed - see below ), supermarket in Cottesloe village, a few hundred metres away. We are situated between the Indian Ocean and the beautiful Swan River and Peppermint Grove. It is an easy walk to both of these. We are only 250 metres from Cottesloe Village, Cottesloe's commercial centre (see below). Iconic beautiful Cottesloe Beach, a few minutes away, on the Indian Ocean, is the one most popular in the area with its walks, surf, restaurants, parrots, and sunsets. These include the famous Indiana Tea House and the Cottesloe Beach Hotel. Cottesloe,known for its Norfolk Pines that line many of its streets, also has a golf course with incredible views of the Indian Ocean( just 300 metres up the road). Cottesloe Village is a few minutes walk away. You can choose between 7 different restaurants (Fusion Australian, Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Pub Food, Winebar, Healthy Burgers), numerous cafes, boutique shopping, The Boatshed, banks, post office, library, sport stores, liquor stores, day spas, massage, and many more. Cottesloe train station is in the heart of the village as well as the bus stops to all areas of Perth. Getting AroundFrom the train station in the village, trains leave for Fremantle and the city of Perth every 10 to 15 minutes and there are buses to all parts of the Perth area just a hop, skip and jump away from the house. Historic Fremantle, full of restaurants, coffee shops, beautiful old buildings, market, festivals, is 10 minutes by train. Peppermint Grove and Swan river with its famous black swans is a 10 minute walk to the East. Downtown Perth with all its amenities is only 25 minutes on the train. The SpaceThe home is a 3 bedroom + 2 Reception Edwardian era family home in the beachside Town of Cottesloe, sitting between the Indian Ocean & the adjacent town of Peppermint Grove. The Swan River & Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club are less than 4 minutes drive away. The house is located in the heart of Cottesloe, Jarrad Street. A 4 minute walk west will take you to Cottesloe Oval, Seaview Golf course, Dutchman’s Point, Cottesloe Beach, Cottesloe Civic Centre & Marine Parade. 3 minutes walk east will take you to the train station, Perth’s best food hall Boatshed Markets & Napoleon Street’s bars, cafes and shops. The home is a heritage listed Australian beach house with high ceilings, polished Jarrah floor boards and a timber verandah to the front of the property. The 3 main bedrooms are large with a clean contemporary look. The main bedroom has a king-sized bed and northerly aspect that catches the morning sunlight. The second bedroom has a double bed and 2 large free-standing clothing cupboards. The third bedroom has 2 single beds and a walk in wardrobe. The house can sleep two couples and 2 children in beds. Additional sleeping spaces are available via a pull out trundle bed in the children’s bedroom & the sofa in the study can be converted to a double bed if required. There are 2 living areas, the first in the older historic part of the home, great for reading & in summer for relaxing on the verandah. The second living area is to the rear of house and has a six-seat dining table, sofa & coffee table. Adjacent to the dining area is a utility / self-contained study with bathroom. Garden access is through the rear living room and has a small saltwater pool on a raised terrace. The kitchen has great cupboard space, fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven & Miele dishwasher. The house has central air-conditioning for both cooling & warming. In summer, the house, typical of the design era is naturally cool and well ventilated. In winter there are electric stand heaters available for each bedroom. Guest AccessGuests will have the run of our home with free internet for the duration of their booking and free parking. Its is close to almost everything Perth has to offer. Guests should make use of the both parts of Cottesloe, beachside & townside. Both within very short walking distance from house. Getting AroundThere is ample verge parking for 2/3 cars in front of the property. Transport to Perth or Fremantle is regular and will take ~ 15/20 minutes by train. Cottesloe is around 45minutes drive from Perth Airport, or around $60 in a licensed taxi. Other Things to NoteAt dawn and sunset have a run, surf or bike by the beach. Have a coffee in one of Napoleon Streets numerous cafes and fish and chips down by the beachside restaurants . At sundown make way to Marine Parade to see thousands of parrots bed down for the evening in the Western Australian Pines.

The SpaceOn the ground level of a small development, this spacious two bedroom apartment is protected from the elements yet still enjoys the benefits of being a very short walk to famous Cottesloe Beach. Recently renovated, the Fox Den has a free flowing open plan design. Enhanced by bi-fold doors from the living area which opens onto a paved landscaped alfresco area which includes outdoor furniture, umbrella and BBQ creating an indoor - outdoor transition. Although it is a common area the table, brolley and BBQ are for our guests use only. The tastefully appointed open plan kitchen is well equipped with electric cooktop/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee plunger and plenty of good quality kitchenware. There is also an assortment of basic groceries items - tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper etc. The living area is comfortable with lounge, dining table, reverse cycle split system, additional ceiling fan, iPod dock, flat screen television and Blu-ray DVD player. A generous sized master bedroom, with queen bed and good quality linen, has built in robes, bedside tables, reverse cycle split system, ceiling fan and a wall mounted television/DVD player. The second bedroom has two single beds again with good quality linen and ceiling fan. Ideal for two adults and two children. The Fox Den is well set up for small children with a cot, high chair, a stroller and a few books and toys all available for your use. By placing a plug in the shower little people can enjoy a fun shaped bath. The bathroom/laundry is well equipped with front loading washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board and hair dryer. The toilet is separate. Direct access from the shared undercover carport to the front entrance makes moving luggage easy. Superbly positioned close to the beach, train, playgrounds, beachfront cafes, restaurants and shopping the Fox Den is the perfect beach holiday pad and we hope you love it as much as we do! The NeighborhoodWe love the 'mojo' of Cottesloe - the fabulous beaches, the smell of the ocean, the big ships coming and going from Fremantle Port, seeing Rottnest Island on a beautiful clear day, walking to cafes or restaurants, being able to jump on a train to explore Perth and Fremantle. I have pinpointed a number of local eateries and shops on the guidebook. What more can a visitor wish for? :-) Getting AroundThe Fox Den is easy to find on the south side of Rosendo Street between Avonmore and Broome Streets. An easy 3 minute stroll down the hill takes you to south Cottesloe Beach and a children's playground. A stroll north takes you to the hub of Cottesloe’s beachfront eateries and more playgrounds. If you are a keen golfer the Sea View golf course is within walking distance. Clubs are available for hire. The Perth/Fremantle train station - Mosman Park station is a few minutes away and can take you to Claremont for shopping, to Subiaco for an AFL football game, to Perth city or south to Fremantle where you can catch a ferry to Rottnest Island. The main Cottesloe shopping precinct is about a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk. There you will find an amazing gourmet food market, plenty of fabulous shops, coffee shops, cafes and restaurants/bars. Perths international and domestic airports are approximately 45 minutes away - prepare for longer in peak hour traffic. It is advisable to book taxis well in advance. The SpaceThe studio, is light and airy, compact (small), beautiful and romantic. It is decorated in a cool beach style which makes the most of its lofted ceiling and bamboo floor. It contains, bed, wardrobe, table chairs. The studio has a small en suite bathroom, with shower, basin and toilet, off to the side through a curtained doorway. Although the studio contains no formal kitchen, we provide dinnerware,cutlery, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, espresso machine, a blender for smoothies,filtered water and an outside electric barbecue - any dirty dishes, etc. are replaced daily. We also provide coffee, milk, sugar, honey, various teas, herbal teas too and unlimited filtered water. We also provide beach towels and his and hers hotel style dressing gowns. The studio has its own outside table, chairs and sun umbrella, set in the morning sun / afternoon shade, surrounded by flowers. It has it's own entrance out the rear of our property into the lane way behind. We provide soap, shampoo, hotel style dressing gowns, hair dryer, etc. In Summer, studio gets the afternoon breeze from the ocean and cools down quickly and as a result it does not have air conditioning. In fact, air conditioning is seldom needed - for example in our the house during the summer of 2014/15 we only turned the air conditioner on a handful of times. Our house and garden are totally organic, hypoallergenic and toxin free. Our dog does not shed his hair and is hypoallergenic. Location, location, location! Peppermint Grove and Swan River with its famous black swans is a 10 minute walk to the East. Downtown Perth with all its amenities is only 25 minutes on the train. Cottesloe is the best beach location in Perth, and from the top balcony (level 3 of the townhouse) you can sip your sunset drinks whilst watching the sun set over Rottnest Island. The property is 3-levels and we've arranged the rooms to match the activity and weather. Ground-floor is an open-plan kitchen, dining room with 6 chairs, sofa, flat-screen TV, and connects to a laundry with washing machine and dryer, mop, broom, buckets and laundry baskets. Within the laundry you will find a set of cupboards containing laundry supplies, BBQ supplies, a light for the BBQ at night (clips onto the glass walls) with extension cord, spare light bulbs and batteries, and a basic tool kit. The lower level is air conditioned. The ground floor area opens out on the back terrace through sliding doors to an outdoor entertaining area with garden furniture that includes an umbrella, BBQ, drinks cooler, table, chairs (8). The garden contains a massive Magnolia tree, and one of the largest Dragon Trees found in Cottesloe. The first floor comprises a bathroom with bath, a double bedroom, and a twin-share bedroom. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes. Within which you will find ample supply of coat hangers and a fan. The twin-share bedroom has an air conditioner and both bedrooms have sliding doors leading out onto a west facing adjoined balcony. The upper floor comprises the main living room and master bedroom with views across the ocean to Rottnest Island. The living room is furnished with large sofa's, a large flat-screen TV, a DVD player, stereo system, and soft lighting. The room is air conditioned and leads onto the upper balcony through sliding doors. The balcony has a large pillowed sofa around a coffee table and chairs. Guest AccessThe property will be all yours for your stay. There is a twin carport at the ground level, and neighbours are great. There is further parking for visitors at the front. The back terrace has a BBQ and a full set of garden furniture and a drinks cooler. The watering is on auto-reticulation and the gardener comes in once a month to clean up leaves and attend to the plants. Interaction with GuestsWe are available to help out with any request. The NeighborhoodCottesloe beach and the boardwalk along the coast is the highlight of living or staying in Cott. There are two playgrounds for the little ones within a few hundred meters, and others about a km away in front of the main Cottesloe beach. Outside you have Cottesloe at your disposal. In summer it is just gorgeous, with days on a protected beach. Fish & Chips on the grass areas are a must, and you can witness the arrival of thousands of local parrots and parakeets into the Norfolk pines that line the beach front. In winter the kite surfers and windsurfers are out in force, and you revert to the heated areas of the pubs. Two hotels/pubs have patios with direct views over the swells, and summer finds them packed with beach goers. The Cottesloe Hotel is upscale and has an excellent menu with an excellent back terrace area that is also heated for cooler periods. The OBH is rowdier and allows access in beach wear. There is a walking/running/biking track all the way along the beach front and no matter what time of the year you will see people out in force keeping fit, taking walks with friends and family, and enjoying the fresh air. The train ride to Fremantle is only 4 stops and to Perth central city 20mins. The closest main shopping is in Claremont at the Claremont Quarter and it is a direct train access. You will see plenty of people enjoying the beach lifestyle, with the mornings busy with people out walking, running, swimming, and surfing. If it's flat there are a host of paddle-boards out. When the swell picks up the breaks are busy with both short and long boards. And when the wind picks up the kite-surfers and wind-surfers are out in force. There are many cafe's serving the locals. On the beach side you have Il Lido (also great for lunches and dinners), Indiana, John Street Cafe (one of our favourites), Bluewaters, Beaches Cafe, Barchetta, and the The Blue Duck. In Cottesloe main shopping around Napoleon Street there is Van's Cafe, The Dome, Barista Cafe, Cimbalino Cottesloe, and a few other restaurants and small food outlets. Rap-n-Rice Thai cafe is worth a visit if you are a purest for an espresso. They have nice takeaway also. For food, there are too many options to list but some of our favourites within walking distance so that you can have a few drinks, are The Two Fat Indians, Il Lido, and Lamont's Wine Store. Station Street has Afinity Day spa and another small nail salon. For shopping we use Napolean street to browse around, and head to Claremont for a larger selection. Getting AroundThe closest train station is Mosman Park, a 550m walk from door to platform. Tickets you can buy at the station. Direct access South to Freemantle, and North to Claremont which is the nearest major shopping area. The CBD is also on the North run. The SpaceThe Lane is situated in a quiet lane only 200 metres from the train station which will quickly get you to the city of Perth (25 minutes) or Fremantle (5 minutes). But you don't need to travel - Cottesloe beach, the Swan river and lots of cool shops and cafes are all within 10 minutes walk. The beach, the river, some of the best restaurants and shopping centres in Perth. We try to stay away unless you need us, of course! Mosman Park is regarded by many as the most liveable suburb in Perth. The Lane offers all the best things about living in the western suburbs of Perth without the beach front prices. Getting around is easy. You can walk to everything you need, but if you want to go further afield the train station is only 200 metres away. There is also a free bus which takes a constant loop around Perth and Fremantle. If you do have a car, we have space for 2 cars We have been leasing this property for over 3 years now, with 85% occupancy and nothing but positive reviews. The SpaceA converted squash court! This recently renovated and conveniently located (2 minutes to train and bus) apartment is in a small, quiet and secure complex. The non-smoking unit is allergy friendly with fresh floor boards throughout. Walk to restaurants and the beach. The apartment is not suitable for children under six years old. Restaurants and cafe's are in abundance along the stunning coast line which is a favourite for kite surfers, surfers and swimmers. Alternatively, pack a picnic and your champers and head in the opposite direction to take in the buzz of activities on the beautiful Swan River. Keep your eye out and you may spot a dolphin or two. Getting AroundMosman Park is easily accessible by road being around 35-45 minutes drive from Perth's Domestic and International Airport, or around 25 minutes from Perth City. Taxis are readily available from the airport. Within 2 minutes walking is Mosman Park Station on the Fremantle to Perth train line. Approximate travel time from Mosman Park to Perth city is 20 minutes to the North, and historical Fremantle is less than 10 minutes South. Buses also run from Perth to Fremantle along Stirling Highway with stops within 2 minutes walk from the apartment. The SpaceIn response to the review left by my last host: cockroaches have been eliminated by pets controls in the whole building, The TV shown on the picture works fine so is the fridge. Extra pillow have been provided for extra confort. Breakfast won't be provided, there all you need to be relax and enjoy Perth ( beach, city, river, Fremantle..) but if it is not a 5 stars hotel room :-)))) The NeighborhoodThe train station ( Victoria Street) and bus stops ( 99, 103) are at 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The City Center is at 30 min by train . Fremantle is at 10 min by train. The beach and the river are at 7 min walk. Supermarket and shops( Coles, bakery, post office, little shops, parks) are at 5 min walk.

The bedroom is equipped with a wardrobe, bedside table with light and a desk. Downstairs, where I live, there is a tidy fully equipped kitchen and laundry guests may use. Guests are welcome to anything in the kitchen to eat or cook. If anything else is needed the shops are a 5 min walk away. Other Features Include LCD TV DVD system and reverse-cycle air conditioning. The room will be provided with fresh towels and linen for your stay. Coffee and tea in the kitchen as well as upstairs for your convenience. The Neighbourhood This home is located in a fantastic residential neighbourhood only a 7 minute walk from the train station. This train line is a 25 minute direct ride to Perth City and 5minutes to Fremantle, with many other connections for buses and other train lines from Perth that will get you anywhere in the metropolitan area. For convenience there are grocery stores, restaurants, takeaway food, outdoor cinema (summer only), fashion stores, art galleries and cafes within a few blocks of the house. Other Attractions The premiere Perth beaches and the Swan River are only a short walk away for those who enjoy the outdoors. This includes the famous Cottesloe Beach and the adjoining coffee strip! If you're in to surfing, kiteboarding, diving, swimming or walking all of these sports can be found in the area. In Fremantle you will find the Market Street alfresco coffee strip, bars, weekend markets, live music/busking, art house movies, restaurants, Maritime Museum and the Prison and much much more. If you have a car it can be parked on the street safely. Otherwise walking to Cottesloe is 20-30 minutes, to the beach 10 minutes. Other Things to NoteGuests are welcome to use any food in the kitchen but I am gluten free so no bread is in the house. The shops are very close and a new cafe/deli is to open a few house sometime in Jan/Feb 2015. A general caution. If traveling here in the summer please come prepared for the sun. I use sun screen, a hat, long sleeve cotton shirts with collars etc. on a regular basis. It sounds excessive but you won't be sorry to have these things just in case. You might also consider long loose cotton pants.

The SpaceThis unit provides a spacious open plan living/dining area and breathtaking views of the Ocean from every window! A short walk to the beach, Victoria train station, and shops. There is even a bus stop right out the front of the complex. All linen, and towels are supplied. Some basics like salt and pepper, sugar, oil, detergents etc are kept in stock. The closest beaches from the unit are: Mosman Park - 20 minute walk (Just down the road - peaceful and quiet) Leighton - 28 minute walk Cottesloe (Iconic) - 40 minute walk As lucky as we are to have the glorious Indian Ocean to our west, we also have the Swan River just a short (5 minute) drive to the east. This is a beautiful river that meanders through Perth providing some stunning views and wonderful picnic spots. Kid friendly with high chair, DVDs, books, and pool available. A new kitchen with bamboo flooring, marble countertops, double door fridge, dishwasher, forced fan oven, and microwave have been installed. Reverse cycle air con! The complex is very secure, with an allocated car port, in ground pool, laundry, bike room and gardens. You can have the whole unit to yourselves. The beach is just across the street!     The SpaceBeautiful home in Cottesloe near world famous Cottesloe Beach on the Indian Ocean. Comfortable private home, cool in summer (air conditioned), warm in winter (gas heated). Original features include very high ornate ceilings, jarrah floorboards, a fireplace in every room. It has a modern well equipped kitchen, French doors open onto garden courtyard with shaded outdoor dining area, fountain and gardens. There is an outdoor shower. Our home has two living spaces, three bedrooms, plus a studio, with its own en-suite bathroom, in the garden. We are also interested in long term rentals of two months or more at current furnished house rents for Perth. Cottesloe, which is the one of the most desirable suburbs in Australia. From our door, it is 500m to Cottesloe Beach on the Indian ocean (voted 2nd best beach in the world by Lonely Planet), 300m to Boatshed Market for fresh food and provisions (equivalent to Dean and Deluca in NYC) plus cafes, restaurants, shopping. 450m to the golf course overlooking the Ocean and Rottnest Island, 300m to the local commuter train. It is 10km to Perth City CBD, 5km to Fremantle plus its port and marinas. A 10 minute walk takes you to the Swan River (where the black swans breed) through Peppermint Grove, one of Perth's oldest and most beautiful suburbs. Swan Valley vineyards are a 30 minute drive as are the Perth hills. The world famous Margaret River wine region and surfing mecca is a 3 hour drive. As well as the attractions listed below there is/are: outdoor movie theatres, river cruises, wind-surfing, kite-surfing, paddling, long beach walks and the up-scale Claremont Mall. You can walk to Mosman Beach in 10 minutes or drive to the famous Cottesloe beach in 5 minutes. The best part is you are only 150 metres from the beach. You will be seconds away from beautiful swimming and reef in a gazetted marine sanctuary. The centre of Fremantle is less than a 15 minute drive or a short train ride. The beautiful Deane Street is situated off Marine Parade, just one street from the Sea View Golf Course and only a short distance from Cottesloe Beach. Walk to trains (heading to Fremantle or the city) or over 20 restaurants, pubs, the best shops and playgrounds.The solid double brick 4x2 house has been renovated and has two new bathrooms. The open living area is at the back of the house, and overlooks the garden. The back lane leads to a peaceful sandy bay on the beach, which is only minutes from the back gate. Getting AroundVery convenient, there is a bus stop within 100m of our house, which can get you to the main areas such as Fremantle, Cottesloe, Perth City, Claremont, Subiaco, you name it! Or you walk for around 10 minutes to get to the highway bus stop (to above destinations also), as well as to the train station. This means, that you can go out till late at night and still manage to take public transport home, saving you those precious dollars on a taxi for something else!

          The SpaceThe price is special. But so is my home. People always comment on how nice the "vibe" is.. the "energy". It's a colourful flat, and it is very relaxing...whether you are reading, listening to music, cooking. You have ample space to relax, shades for the heat and fans if you need. And the wonderful Fremantle Doctor / sea breeze that comes in! So, keep your eye on the front door slamming behind you if you step out! ;-) Winter stays include cozy oil heaters on timers so you can sleep and wake to heat as you desire.. Plus woollen doonas and many blankets for couch snoozing - dvd's in the coffee table drawer ;-) I have only ever been asked by friends if they can stay longer...which I love. I'm a traveller, and I love that my flat can provide accommodation to others while i do the same overseas... I have it professionally cleaned between visits + my wonderful neighbour upstairs manages everything when I'm away. I really hope you get a chance to enjoy my little Ocean Paradiso... It's so good for the Soul... Getting AroundA half-hourly bus service is a five minute walk fro, our place, up a hill and the train station on the Fremantle-Perth train line is a 20 minute hilly walk away. Other Things to NoteIt would be appreciated if our garden could have a splash of water if the plants look dry.

The NeighborhoodMosman Park is in the Western Suburbs of Perth and is near both the Swan River and Indian Ocean. A peaceful suburb with lush trees and beautiful parks. It is well located in between Perth and Fremantle. You can stroll to ocean in 15 minutes and walk along WA's beautiful coastline. There are a range of restaurants within walking distance to suit everyone's budget. If your looking for something for that special occassion Mosman Park has one one Perth's best restaurant - Tsunami and if you have the time please visit it! Furthermore there is an outdoor cinema in the summer only a walk from the apartment. A supermarket and local shops are a 5 minute walk. Getting AroundThe apartment is a 10 minute walk to the train station. In 10 minutes (2 stops later), you are in the heart of Fremantle. If you jump on the train in the opposite direction you will be in Perth City in 25 minutes. From Fremantle you can hop on a ferry to the famous Rottnest Island. Rotto (as the locals call it) is a Class A nature reserve and has some of the most tranquil and secluded beaches in Australia. No cars are allowed on the Island so it is truly a get away from the city! Free street parking is on offer, if you plan to drive. So close to everything, and yet so quiet and peaceful!

The beach in front of us is used for supping/kite surfing/wind surfing and surfing so plenty to do! If you are not the ocean dipping type the cycles and walks are amazing. Getting Around10 minute walk to Mosman Park train station. The train will take you into the city or to Fremantle. There are also buses to Kings Park etc. Phone an Uber to go up to Hillaries for sunset drinks or hire bicycles from Cottesloe to spin up and down the coast. We will leave an info pack for you. Other Things to NoteThe apartment is on the 3rd floor and is a walk up so it is not suitable for a wheelchair unfortunately. We have a lovely mixture of neighbours, young and old so it is not party central:)
