The SpaceLovely Accommodates 2 to 6 people. Very quiet and private space. Mt Lawley is a charming established inner city suburb with fantastic access to all of the city area and beaches. 2 minutes walk to the bus (very frequent service) and eight minutes to the train station. Well known café strip and Restaurants only 2 minutes walk. Various unique small wine bars are dotted through the strip for a bit of night life too. The Swan Valley wine area is only 25 min drive, with historic Guildford a stop along the way. Guest AccessLawley Villa is fully equipped private accommodation. High quality furnishings and floor rugs, and appliances such as La Germania gas stove-Bosch front loading washing machine and dryer. All the rooms have ceiling fans plus the house is airconditioned. Heating is reverse cycle or gas. Big flat screen TV plus DVD. An enclosed sun room gives extra space. Interaction with GuestsOur policy is to respect the privacy of our guests at all times though to be available for any requests. We very much enjoy the interaction we have had with guests with other airbnb sites, however, it is the guest who determines the level of contact. We offer a lot of local information and assist when required. When guest are visiting family they often have a full schedule- otherwise it is just really nice to chat or even have a coffee etc. The Neighborhood Friendly people walking their dogs or just heading off to enjoy the day! The park over the road- tree lined streets with lovely old homes and gardens, many heritage listed. Getting AroundPublic transport is the best! Frequent service buses to the city and beyond- linking with the CAT service. Trains will take you in any direction including the port city of Fremantle and western beaches. Other Things to NoteQuick and easy to every where- central location but still quiet and relaxing. For the gym junkies and swimmers we have Beatty park centre close by and numerous gyms within walking distance.

The SpaceYou are welcome to stay in a bright, comfortable room in a funky green home close to the Perth CBD, public transport, river walks and the trendy Mt Lawley cafe strip. Your spacious room comes with eclectic decor and artwork, a comfortable queen-size bed and a Mac computer with reliable wifi. The bathroom is directly opposite your room. Our property has a huge wild backyard with a mini eucalyptus forest, productive banana trees and 2 natural springs. The benches in our kitchen are made of wood from a Queensland Mahogany planted in our yard over 30 years ago. A balcony set in the treetops is a perfect spot to take in the unique surroundings. Breakfast is a 'help-yourself' choice of vegan food including muesli, toast and fruits. A range of teas and (plunger) coffee is always available. You are welcome to use the kitchen any time, including the Thermomix! All linen and towels are provided. Our home is semi-detached - the duplex next door is also available for short stays on Airbnb (see our 2nd listing). Ten years ago we built (with our own hands!) our master bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Oliva, our loveable 20yo son, lives upstairs and speaks pretty good Italian. Lola, our golden cocker spaniel, will also delight! Our solar-powered electricity, rain water collection, recycling and composting will appeal to guests seeking green-accommodation. The Swan River is at the end of our street ~ a gorgeous walk (or bike ride) in one direction takes you to the free CAT bus in East Perth, inlet cafes, Perth City Farm* and the Perth CBD. The pathway in the other direction meanders for miles through wetlands and parks. Our canoe, called 'Carrot', and a range of push bikes & helmets are available to use. The duplex is just 10mins drive from the domestic airport (20mins from the international) and 3mins from the interstate train station. Off road parking is available at the front of the duplex. * Perth City Farm has a fabulous coffee shop and organic produce markets on every Saturday from 7am - noon.

We are located in the heart of Beaufort Street in Mount Lawley, with a high-frequency bus to Perth CBD only 100m from our door. You will stay in a small bedroom that is perfect for one person and fine for two. The room has: • double bed (137 x 187cm) with linen, blankets and towels • your own private bathroom (shower, sink, toilet, soap, shampoo, conditioner, basic hair dryer, hair straightener) • good WIFI (100GB/month) • cupboard with hanging space and shelves • bedside table • window to recess between the four apartments • ducted air-conditioning (heat/cool) in room • stand-up fan (on request) • information on activities in Perth and WA. Some info provided when you book. • Smartriders for the bus/train (10% discount off public transport). We also quite enjoy chatting about Australian society. The NeighborhoodMount Lawley is a funky area known for its cafes, restaurants, bars and the Astor Theatre. The apartment is less than 100m from the centre of the café strip on Beaufort Street. A highlight for us is the many tasty takeaway and dining out options nearby. We are also one minute walk from two supermarkets (IGA is OK priced and Fresh Provisions is an expensive gourmet option), along with a 24-hour chemist/pharmacy. The beautiful Hyde Park is only 10 minutes walk. Most recently our local area has become a haven for cool street art. We can send you on a walking tour to see our latest local urban art if you are interested. This is a unique opportunity to have accommodation in the centre of the Beaufort Street area. Our home has a walk score of 90, meaning errands can be done on foot and we are a 'walker's paradise'. That is a high score for Perth which is often quite car dependent. Getting AroundWalk to Beaufort Street in one minute. From there catch a high frequency bus (950) to Perth CBD (including links to trains), Morley and the University of Western Australia. The bus takes about 10 minutes to reach the city dependent on traffic and costs $2.90 (sometimes $2.10). It is about a 25 minute walk to the city. 10 minutes walk from Mount Lawley train station. By taxi, it is 15 minutes from the domestic airport (Terminals 3 and 4) and about 20-25 minutes from the international airport (Terminals 1 and 2). It costs approximately $25-$30 from T3/T4 and $30-40 from T1/T2. By bus you can take the 40 from the T3/T4 airport to the city, and then the 950 to Morley to our place ($4.50 total and more than an hour). Further directions to reach our apartment will be provided when you book, this includes if you are arriving on the Indian Pacific or Prospector trains at the East Perth train station. Other Things to Note• We are close to the action in Mt Lawley which means we are near a main road and there is some traffic noise if you sleep with the window open. There are disposable earplugs in your room for you to use if you need. • We don't have a TV. • The apartment is up a flight of stairs. Please reconsider booking if you are unable to use the stairs. • This is a small bedroom, but you have access to the rest of the house. • Please make sure you are happy to share a bed if 2 guests are booking. • We tend to hang out our clothes (after a full load of washing) on the airer rather than use the dryer because Perth is generally a dry and warm climate. • Our non-childproof home is open to any guests (maximum of 2) 18 years of age or older, but not to pets. We don't have any pets. • We are open to guests of all nationalities, beliefs and are LGBT friendly. • We are committed to improving our community. The Swan River is only a 10min stroll from my place; this beautiful river gracefully meanders its way through Perth until it finally reaches the Indian Ocean at Fremantle. For the Noongar people, who have resided in the region over forty thousand years, the river was a source of life and sustenance, as well as a place of deep spiritual and cultural significance. Cycling and walking, this area is blessed with heaps of fabulous cycle and walking paths, and the riverbanks of the Swan boast some of the most scenic in the city, with many meandering through beautiful parklands and remnants of native bush. Cycling and walking along the Swan River are also great ways to appreciate Perth's unique flora and fauna. The birdlife along the river is prolific, and black cockatoos, pelicans, and parrots are just a few of the many species you'll see as you make your way along the paths. If you're fortunate, you may also catch a glimpse of some of the dolphins which live in the river. We have personally seen them on our walks, so it's well worth looking out for them. Getting AroundThe train station & bus stop is only a 2 min stroll from my place and the city is only 2 stops away with the train. Street parking is also available right outside the house. If you are seeking an alternative way to travel The Indian Pacific leaves from the station right near our place. Your epic journey will take you through the picturesque and fertile Avon Valley, the dusty goldfields around Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, across the vast, empty and ancient desert of the Nullarbor Plains, and the magnificent and once-impenetrable Blue Mountains outside Sydney. The Indian Pacific offers travellers four days and three nights of one of the most impressive and indulgent ways to explore the vastness of Australia.         The renovation for this amazing fully self-contained studio apartment is at last complete! You won't get anything quite as unique and perfectly placed to discover Perth from. Built in the 1960's the apartment has an original parquetry floor, generous storage spaces, a queen size bed and leafy views from all windows. Undoubtedly the feature of the space is the cheetah billboard that stretches 6.5mtr across the living area. Second to this is the beautifully crafted clay plaster wall that soaks up plastic out-gassing and creates a natural air-conditioning. The floor to ceiling glass tiling in the bathroom is also pretty awesome! The apartment is located just a short walk from the trendy Beaufort Street cafe strip as well as bus stops and the East Perth (trans-Australia) train station. Via public transport the city is just 5mins away and 15 on foot. Situated on the first floor in a small complex of 38, the apartment has easy and direct foot access from the street (up 4 steps). Secure parking is also available for guests with cars (locked gate). The total space 40sq mtrs. The park next door has a play-ground and a free BBQ ~ excellent for entertaining friends with little ones and pets. Short walk to supermarket, restaurants, cafes, bars, fashion, design and gifts shops. Borrow my bike or jump on a bus 10 mins to the city. My place is very comfortable with a nice vibe. The 2 guest bedrooms are large to medium in size with air conditioning, comfy double bed, leafy rooftop views, bedside tables and lamps and BIR empty for guest use. Lounge living area offers a comfy modular lounge with good size Tele. Kitchen and laundry has everything you need to cook, BBQ and do your own thing. A favourite space with guests to hang is the outdoor garden and undercover decking area with alfresco dining setting, BBQ, sun bed and undercover spa. Outside gas heater available for the winter months. I live 5-10 minutes away and rent my place on AirBNB. I like to keep it clean and tidy for my airBNB guests to enjoy. I have personal things around to make it homely and inviting and provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's urban living offering a relaxing, cool vibe. Friends and guests who stay have been pretty happy with their stay. It's a three bedroom townhouse however I only offer two bedrooms. The third room is used for my personal storage. Downstairs I also have a desk set up under the stairs where you can work from if need be. I have an older style large outside heated undercover Spa which is very relaxing. It only has the one setting (there is no booster pump that provides the bigger bubbles) but its still very nice to relax in - I use it lot in summer. I also have a professional SPA man come in once a month to check and clean the spa for me. Please let me know if you will be using the spa so I can check the chemicals for you. The timer comes on twice a day so its usable/ at a nice temperature most times of the day. My garden area is leafy, green, and at times a bit wild which adds to the charm. It's a lovely private area to just be you. I generally garden once month, do a good sweep and give my plants some love. I am happy to meet you and introduce you to the neighbourhood or give you total privacy, it's totally up to you. Should you need anything I am only a phone call away :-). My Neigbour Murray is kept aware of my AirBNB bookings and keeps an eye on things for me when I am not there. Mount Lawley is well positioned to take advantage of public transport in Perth. Mount Lawley train station is in the east of the suburb and provides access to the Midland railway line. This will also include separate bathroom with two sinks, a shower and a washing machine just across the hall from your bedroom. The living space is a large open plan area with a cinema (projector and cinema couch for up to four people) which can play movies off your laptop or you can project the tv. This living space includes a kitchen table which sits up to 6 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, oven, microwave, bread maker, slow-cooker etc. There is also a french press coffee plunger and a drip coffee machine for your use. The open plan living area opens up into a beautiful small garden with an outdoor lounge suite which seats up to 6 people. It gets lots of sun during the day but has some shade for those hot Perth days. Guest AccessYou will have your own key to come and go as you please. Interaction with GuestsWe are often out playing sports or visiting friends, and we have another living room and bathroom for our own use. The NeighborhoodMount Lawley/Highgate is a vibrant inner city suburb. It hosts many Australian style pubs, a range of restaurants with international cuisine and some of the best coffee in Perth. Many people who live in other suburbs frequent Mount Lawley for food or to socialise with friends. There is also a few odd nightclubs and late night bars but we are three blocks away in a wide, quiet, tree-lined suburb so you can join in if you like or relax in your quiet, private home. Getting AroundThe house is close to many buses which take you into the city in minutes and to the train station which can take you to Fremantle or Cottesloe Beach. There are also many places to have dinner or brunch in our actual suburb so you may not need to walk far for what you need. There is a chemist really close and a supermarket about a 7 minute walk away. Other Things to NoteThere is free on-street parking. All linen, including bath towels and beach towels are included. There is a washing machine for your use (no dryer as we encourage using Perth's lovely weather and protecting the environment). In winter there is a gas heater that we can put on for you but it is rarely needed. There is also the opportunity for two single mattress to be put out in the living room if there are two more guests (ideal for kids). We also have another queen guest bedroom which can be made available if requested. We are not always able to offer this option to please check in advance.

          The SpaceOur house on Alma street is a beautiful, brand new house in mount lawley, just minutes from the city centre in a quiet neighbourhood. The house has two levels with the owners living upstairs and the seperately keyed downstairs area available for our guests. The downstairs level has 2 large bedrooms (1 with ensuite and the other with a small courtyard), both with queen beds, and a further washroom and toilet. There is also a theatre room for you to relax in following your day exploring, with foxtel (pay tv) included so you have hundreds of channels to choose from! The kitchen downstairs is partially outdoors, and includes a quality bbq, oven, microwave, fridge, dishes, cutlery - basically everything you will need! It is a true alfresco kitchen with a lovely outdoor eating area .There is also a beautiful plunge pool to cool off in the summer months while enjoying an outdoor bbq. The house is just a short walk (or an even shorter drive) to the vibrant beaufort street strip, with cafes, pubs, shopping and nightlife. The house is also: 5 minute walk to northbridge (for food and nightlife); 5 minutes walk to Highgate; 5 minutes walk to North Perth (and only 2 minutes walk to the local Coles (to get all your grocery needs); 15 minute walk to Mt Hawthorn for shopping and cafes; 15 minutes drive to the beach; and 10 minute walk into the CDB. Sit down to accomplish the needful things at the corner-office-sized desk. With a fast wired or wireless network connection, an extra monitor and a mouse and keyboard you can be done with work in time to enjoy your stay. The rest of the house is fully equipped, and you are welcome to make efficient and conservative use of the amenities as you wish. Guest AccessYou will have your own key and can come and go as you please. In addition to your own room, you are invited to use the common areas of the house: lounge, kitchen, dining room, laundry and front courtyard. I'm always available via text or phone if you need anything. The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is safe and friendly. There are two excellent bakeries just outside the door who will serve you delicious coffee and baked treats every day that isn't a Monday. If you walk 10 minutes north-east you'll end up on Beaufort St, home of some of Perth's best cafes, restaurants, bars, boutiques and salons. Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at The Merchant, unwind with a pint at The Queens, or catch up over late-night coffee at Zeo's. Walking 10 minutes south-west leads to Northbridge which is Perth's nightclub district and cultural precinct, via William St which has loads of terrific Asian food. Enjoy Perth's best chicken rice at Tak Chee House, watch (and devour) gorgeous Japanese food artistry at Aisuru, and pay a visit to the museum, art gallery and theatres. All the while surrounded by quirky fashion stores, trendy wine bars and pumping night clubs. One of Perth's best inner-city parks is just over the road. Enjoy a jog (or stroll) around the lakes, soak up some sun, spot the local bird life, cook a feast on the free BBQs or relax under a shady tree. My wi-fi even reaches there if you want to take your work outside or show your buddies what a black swan looks like. Getting AroundThe area is very walkable and visitors are encouraged to explore the city on foot or by bicycle. I can provide free bikes for guests to use and getting around Perth by bike is easy and convenient. Bus stops are literally just outside and will get you into the CBD or to a suburban shopping precinct in 10 to 20 minutes. Bus or walk to the central train station for suburban and inter-urban trains. A "SmartRider" stored-value fare card can be provided. The public transport operator is called TransPerth, check their website for timetable and route information, or look in G Maps. There is free parking available on the street outside, but be sure to check the signs and put the visitor permit on your dash if needed. No off-street parking is available for guests. Uber operates in Perth, download the app on your smartphone for convenient and cheap on-demand transport. Other Things to NoteThis is where I live, and sometimes it can seem a little cluttered. I've heard it described as half guesthouse, half bachelor pad. Perth has a very limited water supply and guests are asked to be as frugal as possible: * Limit showers to 4 minutes maximum. * Please leave used dishes in the dishwasher, which will be started when full. * Wait until you have a full load of laundry before using the washing machine. * Hang your towels to dry and replenish them weekly. My work is varied and occasionally it requires me to work from home. I will endeavour to keep the disruption to a minimum though. My house is also my workshop, some areas occasionally have limited access due to projects and materials being stored there, some areas can seem cluttered with art supplies or a work in progress. None of this impacts the liveability of the place though.

Located between William and Beaufort streets the street is unbelievably quiet and and yet only a few minutes walk to great coffee shops and the buzz of trendy bars and restaurants. Centrally located 10 min walk to: Perth City, Museum, Art Centre, Library, huge variety of restaurants, taverns, wine bars, walk to Northbridge and China Town. The NIB Stadium is easy walking distance in Bulwer Street and the beautiful Hyde Park is available just around the corner for an early morning walk or jog with a stop off at the Chu Bakery for some amazing almond filled croissants and sensational coffee. Getting AroundShort walk to so many attractions (as listed above), or catch a Transperth bus in William or Beaufort streets 2 min walk or 8 min walk to FREE City Cat buses. Its even only a 10min walk to either the East Perth or central Perth Train Stations. Another excellent pub nearby is "The Queens" on Beaufort St. The closest breakfast café is "Stirling St Café" - on Stirling St. 5min walk away. Closest shop is the Caltex service / gas station on the corner of Bulwer st & Beaufort St - 5 minute walk towards Beaufort St from the house. The closest supermarket is the Supa IGA on corner of Beaufort St & Newcastle St - 10 minute walk. Walk towards Beaufort St and then take a left and walk towards the city down Beaufort St. Once you reach McDonalds on the left, you are 30m away from the IGA. Getting AroundVery close to public transport (buses/train). 5 minute walk to bus stop. There is one on Lord Street and one on Beaufort street. Both will take you straight into the city for about AUD $2. 1 off street car park available in garage (2 cars can even be accommodated if required). I recommend using Uber - I use it all the time. Other Things to NoteThe house is very much a lived in home. It's tidy and reasonably clean but not immaculate. I'm a pretty relaxed person so you don't need to worry about some neat freak chasing you around the place. I may not always put my dishes away.... that's all I'm saying.....I'll try! There is a Nespresso machine and you're more than welcome to help yourself to coffee, tea, milk and any bread/toast for brekkie (if I remember to buy some). I have a TV in my bedroom so when I have guests in residence I mostly like to leave the main TV room at the front of house for guests to use. Help yourself, I may be in there sometimes but I'll just shut the door if I want to use the TV room on my own. The control panel for the airconditoning / heating is in the kitchen on the wall. Please do ensure all windows are shut if you are turning the cooling/heating on. On the day you check-out just leave the keys in an obvious place (your room or the hallstand) and pull the front door shut as you leave - easy.
