Just ten minutes by car to the city of Perth and walking distance to the University of Western Australia and the Swan River. 12 minutes by car to the famous Perth beaches, "Strickland park" ( as it has been named for 110 years) is in the centre of everything! A short two minute walk from the home will take you to a bus stop, with bus services running every three minutes to Perth, Cottesloe and Fremantle. We have rented the home for over two years and we have happy guests that come and stay again and again and treat it like their very own home.

She is very familiar with Perth as a long time resident so a good resource for your enquiries. The garden is full of Australian natives and potted fruit trees and roses. She knows the University of Western Australia both as a current postgraduate student and former lecturer. Your room has a queen sized bed with all bedding provided and an electric blanket for winter. It has an air conditioner as well as a fan. There is a tv with Apple tv available which gives you all the smart tv functions. Fast internet! The NeighborhoodThe house is in a leafy, quiet street in historic Claremont with shady, safe, unlimited and free street parking outside the house available for your car. Cottesloe Beach is a 15-minute bike or bus ride away. UWA is 10 minutes by a bus with the bus stop 3 minutes walk away. Perth and Fremantle are easily accessible by nearby buses or trains. Claremont Showgrounds are a 10-minute walk away. It is a 10 minute walk to the Swan river foreshore and there are many excellent places for walking, biking and jogging. It is a 5 minute walk to 2 gyms, one an excellent general gym, Essence gym, the other specialising in Pilates, Bodywise. For delicious breakfasts and lunches It is a 5 minute shady walk to Domain on Loch (URL HIDDEN) "Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and coffee from 7 am. Check out the guidebook, as I have quite a few suggestions of attractions nearby. The NeighborhoodThere are many things within close proximity, such as a movie theatre 5 minutes walk away. There are some wonderful restaurants a short walk away. Perth city, with its new bars and restaurants is a 10 minute drive. The port town of Fremantle is a 20 minute drive. Two IGA grocery stores are a 10 minute walk away. Getting AroundThe bus stop is one block away, which has numerous buses that will take you to the Perth, Fremantle, Subiaco and beyond. The bus takes less than 15 minutes to the city, or the drive only 10 minutes. Psst! Good car rentals at fair prices from these guys! (Bayswater Car Hire) Other Things to NoteThere is ducted air conditioning and heating on a central thermostat so please send me a message if you would like the temperature hotter or colder. There is also a gas heater for you to use. Laundry can be done for an extra charge.

This will connect guests to public transport that will take them to the CBD, Cottesloe Beach, Claremont shopping precinct and Fremantle, within 10-15 mins. Once in Claremont, guests can catch a train to many more tourist areas.

          This is a fabulous, spacious family home. We have completely renovated the house in recent years and it has a well-equipped kitchen, 2 x modern bathrooms, 2 living areas both with tv and 3 spacious bedrooms. The back yard is exceptional with a huge covered alfresco, bbq, pizza oven, sparkling pool and in-ground trampoline. It has all the extras that will make your holiday - wifi, ducted aircon, laundry, boardgames, dvds, bikes etc. Perfect for families with kids!
