Rockingham is well placed for convenient and easy access to WA’s major industrial estate the Western Trade Coast and its four primary estates comprising Kwinana Industrial Area, Latitude 32 Industry Zone, Rockingham Industry Zone and the Australian Marine Complex at Henderson, additionally the Royal Australian Navy’s HMAS Stirling and Fleet Base West.
Here in Rockingham it will be hard not to find a great stretch of beach which is ideal for small children to swim, as it is protected from boats driving past, sunbathe, or just relax in the lawn areas under the shade.
The foreshore is perfect for the scenic morning walks or bike rides on the wide footpaths provided that run along the foreshore. Along the way you will find various playgrounds some with BBQ facilities and gazebos close by, great to have picnics and people watch. Getting AroundRockingham is a seaside suburb and Regional centre 47km SSW of Perth, and 28km South of Fremantle. To west of Rockingham lies the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, with nearby Safety Bay being ideal for kitesurfing and windsurfing. A 45 minute train trip will take you into the heart of Perth city, driving is approximately 50 minutes but that does depend on the traffic at the time of day you are travelling. Other Things to NoteTownhouse 2/13 is ideally suited for two couples with two children due to the bedding configuration, however if you require accommodation for 8 people we are happy to allow this with the additional bedding option being a double sofa bed so the level of comfort for extra guests may not be premium.
