The SpaceIn the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region, a 10 minute drive from the vibrant activity of Margaret River township, you will discover your own private Farmstay Bed and Breakfast.
We are a family of 4 (Benji, Helen, Emma who is 7 and Jack who is 5), who open our doors to guests to rediscover the peace and tranquility of living on a farm in the heart of Margaret River. We only have two rooms which are only occupied by one family, a couple or a group of 6 at any one time. Guests enjoy the exclusive use of our charming and spacious accommodation with their own living area or you can join in with our family. Imagine you could escape from the frantic pace of your daily life and simply relax and “restore" yourself on a farm. Guests are welcome to walk all over the farm - down to the Margaret River (which is at the foot of the farm), chat with the horses, pigs, chooks, "mini cows", sheep - anyone you wish;)
For your convenience, we also provide a breakfast hamper so whenever you choose to start your day, you can be sure that breakfast is waiting. Naturally we include as much farm produce with your breakfast hamper as possible, subject to seasons and availability, supporting our local farmers/ producers.
Continental Breakfast hamper - all the usuals sourced locally and from the farm when available/ in season: milk, jam, butter, honey, marmalade, peanut butter, muesli, cornflakes, fresh fruit, sultanas, yoghurt, fresh juice and bread.
Gluten Free and Dairy free options available, please request at the time of your booking.
Acres of gardens surround the farm house rich in native birds and animals. The wonderful wildlife that unobtrusively finds a haven here is a delight to everyone. With plenty of space to run and play, children also love to play in the garden, use the trampoline or dig in the shaded sandpit nearby.
Exercising at Olive Hill Farm is a pleasure. Walk 2.3 kms through the native bushland, along a quiet gravel road and reward yourself with a beer or meal at the renowned Colonial Brewery. Enjoy a peaceful stroll in the olive groves on the farm or walk around the farm and down to the Margaret River, taking in all of nature's beauty. For the more adventurous, a refreshing swim in the expansive Margaret River pools is invigorating.
With poorTV reception and limited Telstra mobile reception (there is now reception at the accommodation but it is limited on the farm in areas), should you need an excuse to be unavailable to answer to your hectic lifestyle, this is your opportunity to feel time slowing down, capturing quality time for yourself with loved ones.
