Interaction with GuestsWe will greet you and show you how everything works and can help you with any aspect of your visit. We will also be available if you have any queries during your stay. We also speak French, Spanish and German. The NeighborhoodThe cottage is in a quiet leafy street in the old part of Subiaco which is one of the closest residential areas to the Perth CBD and all its major attractions. It is close to the major hospitals including Princess Margaret Children's Hospital, King Edward. Sir Charles Gairdner and St John of God. King's Park with its cycle and walking paths is a 10 minute walk from the cottage as is Rokeby Road which has numerous cafes, restaurants and shops. Nearby smaller parks include Subiaco Theatre Gardens, Lake Jualbup (Shenton Park Lake) and Rosalie Park. The Region The city of Perth is known as one of the most isolated in the world, mainly due to the sheer size of this beautiful country of ours, Australia. This isolation ensures we have some of the most pristine landscape in the world. Our multitude of endless white sandy beaches are a truly wonderful way to see us at our best, and only a 15 minute drive from the centre of the city. Perth is situated on a large expanse of river land called the Swan River, which meanders comfortably inland from the historic port city of Fremantle. Perth City itself is situated some 15 kms upstream from Fremantle and the river then continues it's way up through our beautiful Swan Valley, complete with it's vibrant wine industry, and then into the picturesque Perth hills area. Getting AroundThe bus into the city and other destinations is less than 2 minutes away. The closest train station into the city or down to the beach at Cottesloe and Fremantle is a short 5-10 minute walk. The simplest way to get here from the airport is by taxi which costs about $50. Other Things to NoteWe do not charge a cleaning fee but do ask you to leave the cottage clean and tidy.

The SpacePositioned in Subiaco's most desirable pocket, known locally as "the golden triangle", this home is located on Axon Street, just near the intersection with Park Street, in the centre of "old Subiaco" and only 200m to Rokeby Road. It is a lovely comfortable split level townhouse with it's own private front, side and rear courtyards, with pretty gardens to sit in and enjoy. The house has it's own street frontage with undercover parking for 2 vehicles. It has three bedrooms, the master with a queen bed and the two others with double beds. The master bedroom is huge, with it's own sitting area and 2 balconies. We have one very large bathroom complete with bath tub and shower, loads of natural light and en-suite access to the master bedroom. There are 2 toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs in the large laundry area. The house also has a separate study on the lowest level, just off the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The rear courtyard has a bbq and outdoor dining area. Tea Tree Terrace also houses an interesting and eclectic collection of original artworks from the owner's private collection. Mostly Australian pieces, these beautiful collectibles add a wonderful uniqueness to this house. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do. This is a very nice house and our price of $280 per night is for 6 people. If you are interested in staying at Tea Tree Terrace and can guarantee you dont need all three bedrooms, we are happy to negotiate a cheaper rate for you. Axon Street runs parallel to Rokeby Road, which is one of Perth's favourite shopping areas with restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, fashion, supermarkets and fresh food markets, all within a very short walk from the house. Our properties are all fully "self catered" - once you arrive and settle in we won't interrupt you with cleaning and servicing. If you would like your bed made and your house cleaned, please let us know and we would be happy to come and do your housework for you at a cost of $100 per time. If you would just like a quick tidy up and your beds made, it would be $40 per hour. The house is also located centrally and close to 5 major hospitals – St John of God, King Edward Memorial, Princess Margaret Children's Hospital, Sir Charles Gardiner and Royal Perth. It is only a short walk to Patterson Stadium (formerly Subiaco Oval), 2km to the Perth CBD and 5km to delightful Matilda Bay and the University of Western Australia. Also just a short distance away are the Perth Convention Centre, the new Perth Arena complex, the Perth Theatre Centre, His Majesty's Theatre, the Perth Museum and the Art Gallery of Western Australia. Strictly non smoking and sorry but no parties or noisy gatherings. We like to respect our neighbours rights to a peaceful life in beautiful Subiaco :) The NeighborhoodWithout fail, the best part about Subiaco, and in particular this area of Subiaco, is the close proximity to all the services you could want or need. Plus the friendly local community. You will be nestled in amongst historic residential homes, large and small, fancy and quaint, strong and remodelled or slightly worn and a bit crooked - the area abounds in character. Full of restaurants, cafes, shops, parks and friendly locals, you will love your stay in Subiaco, whether for business or holiday. Trains and buses are also close by for that visit to any of Perth's fabulous iconic pristine beaches or perhaps the historic port city of Fremantle. Other Things to NoteWifi and Foxtel (cable TV) are included in the price. We do ask that you dont make any large downloads though please, such as movies, games or TV series. We also have portable baby cots for a one off hire fee of $30 for the cot and linen.

The SpaceA unique 2 bedroom 2 storey warehouse style home in the heart of historic Subiaco. 3 night minimum stay required. The Daisy House is one of Subiaco's most unique properties, being designed and hand built by award winning Perth architect Brian Klopper in 1978. Featured in “A Short History of Western Australian Architecture” by Geoffrey London, the Daisy House was one of the first homes in Western Australia to use recycled bricks in its construction and amazingly it also uses old steel railway line from the 1850s as floor joists and door and window lintels. Old wooden telephone poles and giant wooden beams salvaged from the old Busselton jetty in our south west are also used throughout as structural features. The house takes its name from a beautiful large daisy leadlight window designed and built by Brian. It is truly an intriguing building. The Daisy House is a 2 storey dwelling with 2 queen beds upstairs and is located in the western end of Park Street, only 200 metres from all the facilities of Rokeby Road. Rokeby Road is one of Perth's favourite shopping areas with restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, fashion, supermarkets and fresh food markets, all within a very short walk from the Daisy House. Our properties are all fully "self catered" - once you arrive and settle in we won't interrupt you with cleaning and servicing. If you would like your bed made and your house cleaned, please let us know and we would be happy to come and do your housework for you at a cost of $40 per hour. The Daisy House is also just several doors from a beautiful small pocket park which is a mecca for locals, with their families and dogs, and is home to a fairly significant local bird population including a wonderful family of kookaburras. The park is lovely and peaceful during the day, becoming busier later in the day with kids, dogs, ball games, locals with coffee or a glass of wine in hand, and then peaceful again early evening. It is a nice spot to sit with a cold drink on a warm day and enjoy the bbq facilities and commune with the locals. There is also a nice roomy courtyard garden at the Daisy House with it's own bbq if you wish to dine or relax at “home”. The Daisy House – a very unique alternative to the hotel lifestyle. Strictly non smoking and sorry but no parties or noisy gatherings because we are in the heart of a peaceful residential neighbourhood. The NeighborhoodWithout fail, the best part about Subiaco, and in particular this area of Subiaco, is the close proximity to all the services you could want or need. Other Things to NoteWIFI: We do have portable wifi modems (Telstra) available. These cost $20 and will be preloaded with 250MB - you can then log on and recharge them yourself using your credit card if you need more download. If you have hired one of these, please make sure you leave it in the house when you depart. We also have portable baby cots for a one off hire fee of $30 for the cot and linen.

The SpaceA delightful modern terrace house less than 100 metres from the restaurants, coffee shops and shopping of Rokeby Road – the centre of Subiaco. We do have a strict 3 night minimum stay. Terrace One is in the western end of Churchill Avenue, in the heart of older Subiaco. Churchill Avenue runs into Rokeby Road, which is one of Perth’s favourite shopping areas with restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, fashion, supermarkets and fresh food markets within a very short walk from the house. Terrace One is a beautiful modern 3 level townhouse with it’s own private front and rear courtyards, 2 balconies and it’s own street frontage. It has two master bedrooms, both with queen beds and ensuite bathrooms. There is also a separate study on the lowest level with it’s own courtyard and ensuite which, with the added bonus of a double sofa bed, can easily be used as a 3rd bedroom. The house is fully air-conditioned and has 2 undercover secure parking bays. The rear courtyard has a bbq and outdoor dining area, and there is also seating on both balconies, which look over the street and into the canopy of trees along Churchill Avenue. The house is also located centrally and close to 5 major hospitals – St John of God, King Edward Memorial, Princess Margaret Children’s Hospital, Sir Charles Gardiner and Royal Perth. Churchill Avenue is only a short walk to Patterson Stadium (formerly Subiaco Oval), 2km to the Perth CBD and 5km to delightful Matilda Bay and the University of Western Australia. Also just a short distance away are the Perth Convention Centre, the new Perth Arena complex, the Perth Theatre Centre, His Majesty’s Theatre, the Perth Museum and the Art Gallery of Western Australia. Our properties are all fully “self catered” – once you arrive and settle in we won’t interrupt you with cleaning and servicing. The SpacePositioned in Subiaco's most desirable pocket, known locally as "the golden triangle", this adorable little home is located on Park Street, one of Subiaco's most sought after streets for real estate with it's collection of historic cottages and semi-detached homes together with some interesting more modern homes. Park Lane cottage is a delightful little house. Originally built in 1903 as a "workers cottage" for the timber industry which thrived in Subiaco through the late 1800's until early 1900's, Park Lane cottage has seen many renovations and restorations in it's more than 100 year history. The latest of these renovations is only months old and offers a magnificent sparkling white modern open plan kitchen which opens up the entire width of the house to a north facing rear deck overlooking a courtyard garden. There is also a lovely new bathroom, also sparking white. The central lounge room is in keeping with the character of the home (except for the large flat screen TV) and has comfortable traditional leather furniture and a wonderful natural gas coal fire which springs to life with the press of a button. The house has it's own street frontage with undercover parking for 1 vehicle at the rear. It has two bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and the other with a double. Only 2 doors from the house is Richard Diggins park, a wonderful green space which is a mecca for locals with their dogs and children. It also has some wonderful quiet times during the day and is the perfect spot to sit on a park bench or on the lush green lawns and read a book, or just sit and take in the clear blue skies and wonderful weather which we are so proud of here in our lovely city of Perth. Park Street runs west to Rokeby Road, which is one of Perth's favourite shopping areas with restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, fashion, supermarkets and fresh food markets, all within a very short walk from the house. A gorgeous little 100 year old cottage, 2 bedrooms, completely remodelled and fresh, in a superb location, just waiting to be your home away from home. Positioned in Subiaco's most desirable pocket, known locally as "the golden triangle", this adorable little home is located on Park Street, one of Subiaco's most sought after streets for real estate with it's collection of historic cottages and semi-detached homes together with some interesting more modern homes. There is plenty of house left for you to enjoy your holiday. Interaction with GuestsOur phone number will be supplied in case you need us. The NeighborhoodPositioned in Subiaco's most desirable pocket, known locally as "the golden triangle", this home is located on the cnr of Bedford Avenue and Park Street in the centre of "old Subiaco" and only a few minutes walk to Rokeby Road. Rokeby Road is one of Perth's favourite shopping areas with restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, fashion, supermarkets and fresh food markets. The house is fully "self catered" - once you arrive and settle in we won't interrupt you with cleaning and servicing. If you would like your bed made and your house cleaned, please let us know and we would be happy to come and do your housework for you at a cost of $40 per hour. The house is also located centrally and close to 5 major hospitals – St John of God, King Edward Memorial, Princess Margaret Children's Hospital, Sir Charles Gardiner and Royal Perth. It is only a short walk to Domain Stadium (formerly Subiaco Oval), 2km to the Perth CBD and 5km to delightful Matilda Bay and the University of Western Australia. We like to respect our neighbours rights to a peaceful life in beautiful Subiaco :) Getting AroundThe free city transit bus route is only a couple of blocks walk away and this bus runs approx every 20 minutes, into and out of the city. There is also the train system, with several stations about a 10-15 minute walk away. The train can take you directly into the city, or south to Fremantle, our historic port city, and of course everywhere in between. You can also reach the northern suburbs and the southern suburbs down to Mandurah on this rail system. Other Things to NoteThe house is in a very quiet residential neighbourhood and is right on the edge of a small pocket park. The road was closed years ago and turned into this park. Just step out your side gate into the lawn and trees of this small green space. There are also swings and a slide in this park if you have any little ones. There is one road which runs at the front of the house but it is a very small road with a single lane "kink" in it to slow cars to walking pace going thru the park area.
