This lovely two storeys 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom townhouse is just across the road of swan river, also 2 mins walk to bus stop and 5 mins drive to Perth CBD (city) area. The location is fantastic! 5 mins walk to the river, you can enjoy yourself there either go for a walk or run or even a BBQ with a beautiful view and relaxing atmosphere. 5 mins drive to the city or 15 mins walk. It also closes to supermarket and shopping centre, approximately 3 mins drive to supermarket, 10 mins drive to one of the biggest shopping canter in Perth (inc Hoyts Cinema). 2 mins walk to the bus stop, which takes you directly to Perth City or Fremantle. The room is large and bright, with a private balcony. It has its own bathroom, shower and build in wardrobe. The room is fully furnished, including a king size bed, study desk, cabinet and chairs. Towel and bedding will be provided, as well as shampoo and body wash for a short-term stay. An air-conditioner is also available to use, thus, no need to worry about the heat in summer. "So close to everything" I have lived in Kensington for 10 years on and off and love the area, everything is so close, shops, good restaurants and take away places. My kids both went to Kensington Primary, great school we also have a pre-primary. Lots of young families and a nice park with a play ground. Ideal area for young executive couple, the city is only 5 mins by car and public transport is easily. The freeway also 5 mins to go either north or south. Airport access is easy, taxi fares from the domestic or international terminals will cost between $25-30, and take approx 20 minutes. Or you can catch bus number 37, and hop off at the Canning Highway interchange and grab any bus up Shepparton Rd asking the driver to let you off at Ursula Frayne College. The unit is 2 minutes away. The ensuite bathroom is fitted with a bath and a separate shower. The ground floor is an open plan living area with 2 bed rooms and a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for guests who want to cook their own meals just like at home. Or indulge in culinary experience with many cafes and eateries around. A courtyard visible from the kitchen and living area allows you to enjoy breakfast in the sun or a barbeque under the umbrella. If preparing a breakfast is not your kind of thing there is a little cafe two doors down the street. Public transport in Perth isn't great, you are better off with a car if possible. Other Things to NoteWe have a cat that lives with us. We will provide plenty of dry cat food if you can please just fill her bowl with biscuits and water every few days. She is very friendly and lets herself in and out via her own door.

We prefer to keep our space and your space totally separate for your full privacy. I spend a lot of time in my kitchen so I do not share it and I do not allow use of our laundry. Interaction with GuestsWe are finding that we aren't even meeting a lot of our mid-week guests. We both work full time and are very busy and active people. We get up very early to exercise and go to bed pretty early, so you may not bump into us during the week! This suits guests who prefer their privacy and more of a 'self contained' experience than a 'home stay' experience. We will stay out of your space and give you your complete privacy unless you initiate a chat, and we are always available via Airbnb messaging, text or phone call if you need anything at all from us. The NeighborhoodVictoria Park has recently become a much cooler neighborhood to live and hang out in Perth. A quick walk to the end of our street will bring you to Albany Highway. You can turn left or right to walk to an endless supply of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. About a 1km walk away at John McMillan Park, the TGIF Hawkers Markets are on every Friday evening 5pm - 9pm. Lots of affordable yummy food options and live music. At the same park every Sunday morning is the Vic Park Farmers Markets from 8am - 12 noon. Great breakfast, coffee, local produce and artisan stalls. A 2km walk brings you to the Swan River for scenic walking, riding, dolphin spotting, picnics or a BBQ. Ask me for any recommendations for where to go in the area. I am passionate about Vic Park and supporting the businesses within it. Getting AroundIf you want to just chill out and look around Vic Park, you can walk pretty much anywhere. If you're heading to the city or elsewhere via the city, a few hundred metres away is a bus stop which takes you straight into the heart of the CBD. If you want to go elsewhere, stay on the bus until it stops at the bus port. There you will find help and information on how to get anywhere else in Perth via public transport. Alternatively, we are a 1km walk to Victoria Park train station. For those who don't mind a good walk, the city is a 5km lovely scenic walk down Albany Highway, across the Causeway Bridge and along the edge of the river. If you're lucky you might see our river dolphins! You can also see Kangaroo's on Heirisson Island on the way. If you are bringing a car, please park it on the right hand side in our carport. If you are coming from the airport, Uber will cost you about AUD30 and a taxi will cost approx. AUD40. Code is: janem1235ue Other Things to NoteWe have 2 small dogs who will be kept out of your area but will bark when you arrive, and each time you get home! Once they are used to hearing you move around your end of the house, they are relatively quiet most of the time. Our life must go on during your stay and we are very early risers. We try to keep noise to a minimum until a reasonable hour, but our house is old with creaky floorboards, so if you are a light sleeper and want to sleep in during our working week, bear this in mind! However when you are in your bedroom there are 2 closed doors between us and you and no guests have complained about any noise to date. I thoroughly clean the space between bookings but whether you want to clean at all during your stay is up to you and your own responsibility. Our house is old and breezy. It remains relatively cool in summer but can get VERY cold in winter. We have found some international guests are surprised how cold it can get in Perth in winter. We provide a small room heater but there is no heating other than that, so bring more warm clothes than you think!

              The SpaceThe townhouse offers plenty of space to both share and socialise. It is very central and in an ideal location within minutes from everything you will need for your stay, whether as a tourist or for business. It is rented as a whole townhouse for your exclusive use. The kitchen is equipped with fan forced oven, microwave, coffee machine, the usual toaster & kettle, electric wok and electric frypan, and a full family sized fridge. The lower living area and courtyard enjoy a vista over the adjoining park and magnificent Morton Bay fig, which comes alive morning and night with birdsong. Double sliding doors downstairs and in the master bedroom upstairs bring the outside in – a joy all year round.
