The SpaceBusselton is at the gateway to world class wineries and boutique breweries, restaurants and cafes. Visit the historical Busselton Jetty (1.7 km long) - take a walk or catch a train to the end. Visit the underwater observatory and see the incredible fish swimming by. Visit us in Spring and marvel at the prolific wild flowers as you walk through the bush. Swimming is at your doorstep - laze in the tranquil waters of Geographe Bay and relax in the sun. A cycleway is located at the back gate. There is so much to see and do - so make sure you to stay long enough to see it all. The large well appointed bedrooms have queen size beds and we are also able to accommodate 2 children with a portable cot available. Baby sitting can be arranged. The lounge has a flat screen TV/DVD and there is an ipod docking station for you favourite music. The kitchen has a cooktop,fridge and microwave, cutlery and crockery. Relax on your private balcony with a glass of local wine in the evening listening to the waves on the beach. Guest AccessYou are able to access the beach simply by walking through the native bush - no roads to cross. No amenities are shared - the apartment is separate from the host accommodation. A variety of cereals, bread, butter,spreads,milk and orange juice are placed in the apartment for your breakfast. The apartment is on the first floor and you can be assured of your privacy to relax and enjoy your stay. The NeighborhoodSandpiper apartment is situated in a quiet, peaceful area and all you can hear are the lapping of the waves. The property backs on to native bushland which takes you down to the waters edge. The wineries are less than 20 minutes drive away - Dunsborough is only 10 minutes and Busselton 5 minutes away by car. Take a bike and ride into Busselton ( about 20 minutes) and enjoy the restaurants and cafes. A short stroll along the sandy cove (5 minutes from your back door) is a beach café, wine bar and restaurant for lunch or evening entertainment. Getting AroundThe apartment is approximately two and half hours drive south of Perth. An easy drive down the freeway to Busselton. Once in Busselton take the Bussell Highway towards Dunsborough for about 5 kms. Turn right into Alan Street and second right into Sandpiper Cove. The property is located down a driveway behind No. 10. Secure off road parking is available on arrival. Other Things to NoteWe have bikes and kayaks for you to use.

Whether you are holidaying, seeing the sights of Busselton (and the surrounding areas) or going to a family catch up you'll find all the comforts of home and more. Outside blue wrens, frogs and other wildlife that live on the wetland are ever present. In our Eco friendly space we aim to create a lighter footprint. We have created this relaxing space using natural paints, we use human friendly cleaners, locally made natural soaps and shampoos and used and provided here. THERE ARE TWO DOUBLE BEDROOMS & AN ADDITIONAL DOUBLE BED IN THE LOUNGE ROOM. THIS IS FOR A MAXIMUM OF 6 PEOPLE - 3 COUPLES OR 3 SINGLES OR SIMILAR. Having a bed in the lounge room is very workable as there are 2 other spaces to socialise and relax in. Guest AccessThe Sun Room that overlooks the garden and wetland is ideal to sit and read a book or just relax or have breakfast or dinner. There are lots of places to eat out or you can fire up the BBQ or cook something at home in the fully equipped kitchen. Whether you decide to sit outside on the patio and have your meals or eat indoors you will be surrounded by the gardens and Mother Nature. Car parking space for up to 4 cars or a car and caravan. Enjoy the BBQ facilities and make yourself at home. There are veggie beds and you're welcome to pick veggies and herbs from the garden. I live on site in a separate space and will greet and welcome you and show you the house and help you to settle in and then leave you to enjoy your holiday. There are possums that live here and I am always happy to help you spot them and tell you where you can see other native animals in our pristine local environment. The NeighborhoodMy neighbourhood is very friendly. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes and visit the wetland morning and afternoon and see the Kangaroos feeding. There is a large array of birds that visit Overnight Stop as we have gardens all around and we are on the Wetland. Busselton is the regional event capital of the Australia and is central to Dunsborough Margaret River Bunbury. There is so much to do and see here. Visit the Underwater Observatory or go diving at the end of the Busselton Jetty it's one of the 10 top dive spots in the world. Explore the Wonnerup Vasse Bird-hides this area is of International significance for its water birds and take one of the many walking trails. You can cycle along the seaside path from Busselton to Dunsborough. Visit the Caves, the Wineries or eat out at the many gourmet restaurants and cafes. Take a short walk and have a swim and enjoy the breathe taking sunsets, and lots more .... Getting AroundYou can get to Busselton by bus from Perth but once you are here a car is needed to be able to see the sights. From this central location you can see and experience most of what the South West has to offer easily. If you intend to do site seeing you will need a vehicle. There is a lot to see in the South West and Busselton is central to the numerous attractions. People frequently tell me that they intend to walk to the wineries from Margaret River - this is just not possible. Between the many and varied places to see is expanses of beautiful bush and farms. Other Things to NoteBusselton Eco Overnighter is Eco friendly accommodation - your health and the environment are important to us. When you stay at Overnight Stop you will enjoy the frog and native animal friendly garden. We have created habitats for my native neighbours in this chemical free environment - all water coming into the property is micro filtered. Humans and frogs are affected by chlorine and other chemicals I am doing my bit for the Eco system. You will benefit because a rest from chemicals gives your body a chance to rejuvenate and people with allergies and asthma often get welcomed relief.

    The SpaceThis private room in my quaint, well loved home is cosy and comfortable, with a double bed. It is perfect for the solo traveller. Enquire if a date is unavailable on the calendar, as I am often able to open extra dates, or extend a stay. Guest AccessGuests are welcome to share my bathroom and living rooms, as well as relax in my colourful garden where wild birds and possums come to be fed. There is off road, undercover parking. I provide coffee and tea making facilities, as well as breakfast supplies, but ask that guests do not use my kitchen for cooking. I am happy to prepare guests meals with my home grown produce at a minimal cost. I donate 10% of my AIRBNB takings to a charity or worthy cause, so you will also be making a difference to the world by staying here. Over the past year donations have been made to The Salvation Army, World Vision, The Fred Hollows Foundation and Medecins Sans Frontieres Australia. Interaction with GuestsI lead a busy life, and am often out and about, but am usually not far away. Guests will have a key, and can come and go as they please. The NeighborhoodThe lovely Geographe Bay is only a 2 minute walk way, and it is an easy 20 minute stroll to our iconic Busselton Jetty which is the perfect spot to watch the sun set.     The SpaceAIRBNB sent us this message recently that we are very proud of........ Overall Experience Great work! Your last 10 ratings were each 5 stars. Overall, you’ve received 5 stars 90% of the time. On average, hosts near you get 5 stars 70% of the time. The ratings come from our Guests, so thank you very much!!! One of the things we enjoy most is the peace and quite, you get used to going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the Ocean and the birds! The photos give a good indication as to what you can expect, but like all photos it is always better once you are standing there! The 3 Bedrooms can sleep up to 8 people. The Master Bedroom has a Queen Bed and a Spa En-suite, the Second Bedroom has a Queen Bed, and the Third Bedroom upstairs has 2 single beds and bunks. There is a Second Bathroom which also has a Washing Machine and Dryer and a second Toilet is adjacent. There are uninterrupted Ocean views from the 2 downstairs Bedrooms, Kitchen, Dining and Lounge areas. The 3rd Bedroom is upstairs, perfect for the kids to relax with games or to watch a movie, whilst the adults enjoy the privacy of downstairs. The Lounge area has a very comfortable suite to curl up on for a nap, have a chat, enjoy the Ocean view or turn on the 42' TV and watch a movie. There is a fantastic outdoor Swimming Pool, children's Playground, Gym and Electric BBQ's for your use. Our Apartment is located 10 minutes west of Busselton, 30 minutes from Margaret River, 10 minutes from Dunsborough, 20 minutes from Smiths Beach and 45 minutes from Augusta. All of Western Australia's top Wineries are within 35 minutes from the Apartment. Busselton has all major Supermarkets and lots of specialty shops as well. There is a Deli, Wood Fired Pizza Cafe and Liquor Store within walking distance. One of the loveliest things about staying there is sitting on the balcony and enjoying the magnificent view, looking for dolphins swimming by and enjoying the fun water skiers, fisherman and people crabbing have on the water. You can walk along the beach for miles in either direction, even into Busselton if you like. If you take bikes down you can use the bike path in both directions too! I have compiled over the years a guide to all the must see Attractions, Wineries, Restaurants and Cafe's which I can email you if you would like me to. They can sleep in the attached garage and run in and out to the large secure backyard at will, and be seen by you. Bikes provided (3 adult & 2 children's).

    The SpaceMy cabin was converted from a double garage and everything used for the conversion was recycled, upcycled or reused, and sourced locally. Solar panels contribute to the electricity. I am proud to have works by local artists and craftsmen in use and on display which are also available for sale. Guests have separate access to the cabin, and off road parking, as well as sole use of a private courtyard, where wild birds and possums come to be fed. The cabin is self contained with a kitchenette and bathroom. I want my guests to treat my cabin as their own home so will greet them on arrival if possible, then leave them alone to relax and enjoy. My home is a separate building on the same property, so I am usually close by if needed. The lovely Geographe Bay is only a few minutes walk away, and it is an easy 30 minute stroll along the beach to our iconic Busselton Jetty, which is the perfect spot to watch the sun set. The yacht club, shops and hospital within 5 minutes walk. If you want to drive, the centre of Busselton is a few minutes away, or cycle along the network of cycle paths, which are at the door step. Day trips to wineries, caves, art galleries will keep you busy exploring. Bring back a natural treasure you find at the beach or the bush and add it to the collection in the garden left by previous guests.     The SpaceOur space has a huge living area ,garden and is a 3 minute walk to the beach and a comfortable walk to town and the Busselton (URL HIDDEN) has a big tilefire and two comfortable lounges in the living area. Busselton Hospital is just across the New River, a 5 minute walk away. There is plenty of space for four people but we are happy to just accommodate two. Guest AccessYou will have access to the entire 1/2 house it is entirely private and has everything you will need and free wifi. There are two bedrooms with comfortable beds, one double, one queen size with a bathroom and separate toilet in between.A mini kitchen and dining table. There is a slate pool table in the living area to use and free wifi and TV. Interaction with GuestsWe live in the front half of the house, so will be available if you need anything but will respect your privacy. We enjoy travelling and love walking and cycling holidays . We both work so won't be available office hours but will be happy to share information about our lovely city and things to do. There are bikes in the shed, a kayak and we have a friendly dog and a free range rabbit. The NeighborhoodBusselton is a brilliant place to stay, summer or winter ,we have lovely beaches and the Busselton jetty, with Margaret River only 40 minutes away and Dunsborough just down the road, you can ride there on the new cycle track. The lovely Geographe Bay is only a 2 minute walk away, and it is an easy 20 minute stroll along the beach to our iconic Busselton Jetty, and the town centre. Take a bottle of wine down the beach it's the perfect spot to watch the sun set. The yacht club, shops and hospital are within 5 minutes walk. By car, the centre of Busselton is a few minutes away. Cycle along the network of cycle paths. Day trips to wineries, caves and art galleries will keep you busy exploring the South West. Getting AroundYour own car is the best way to get around this region. Cycling is also enjoyable as it is very flat and we have a great network of cycleways. There are buses 3 minutes walk away to town and Dunsborough. We have two bikes available for your use. Other Things to NoteSorry, no smoking and no pets. "Beach Buoys House" is spacious and very well appointed throughout, but perhaps one of the most outstanding features of this holiday home is the fact that it has absolute beach frontage and the ocean literally laps at the edge of the garden. There is a large outdoor kitchen and barbeque area, three separate living rooms with large LCD TVs, and double bedrooms and bathrooms which is very unique and appealing to family groups. You can soak up the relaxing atmosphere and be as lazy as you want and spend your days reading on the beach, catching some fish and eating wonderful fresh seafood caught right on your front doorstep or take your boat out for a cruise with the family... Or be as busy as you want and start the day early with a jog along the wonderful beach, then snorkelling or diving, play table tennis, discover the Busselton Jetty and Underwater Observatory, put the Nautical Lady Entertainment World on the agenda, wine and dine in one of the many vineyard restaurants, have a mid afternoon cricket game with the kids and then finish off another perfect day eating fresh pizza straight from the pizza oven and watching the sun set over the ocean. However you wish to spend your holiday, "Beach Buoys House" is the ultimate beachfront escape. Note: This house is for family holidays only (as are all of our holiday homes), and is not a venue for functions, party house or to be used for social gatherings. The NeighborhoodBusselton is located 222km from Perth or 2.5 hrs driving. It is home to the longest timber-plied jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, at a huge 1.8km long! Take a walk or the jetty train to the end of the jetty where you can visit the fascinating Underwater Observatory. Enjoy a meal or do some shopping in the lively city centre. Busselton has many peaceful walking trails and picnic areas in the Tuart National Forest, where you can be at peace with the 300-400 year old trees. Stroll or cycle along a seemingly endless white, sandy beach towards Cape Naturaliste which is 30km to the west. The calm, protected waters of the bay make Busselton perfect for swimming, snorkeling, sailing, diving, rowing, fishing or water-skiing. The famous Busselton Ironman is held here bi-annually in May & December - but this is not for the faint hearted! Getting AroundCar hire is highly recommended when visiting the South West. It is definitely the best way to go exploring. You can also take the train to Bunbury and then a bus to Busselton, or a bus the whole way. The NeighborhoodMargaret Street is recognised as Busselton's 'best street' with immediate access to the beach and very little traffic as its a 'No Through Way' and mainly used by the residents only, of which there are only four permanent (URL HIDDEN) nice and quiet. It's also just a 20 minute beach walk to The Busselton Jetty and there is a cycle path that can be followed all the way to Dunsborough. Getting AroundThere is a Bus Stop/Service about 5 mins walk away that can take you to Busselton/Dunsborough/Margaret River etc. Bus timetables can be found in your bedside table, or you can rent our push bikes for $15 per day! Other Things to NoteONLY if available, we could make available to you our fully equipped outdoor kitchen with BBQ's and Pizza Oven etc. Use of this would attract an extra charge of $30 for the cleaning service etc. Weather- and availability permitting, you can also book a half day sail (3-3.5hrs) on our 31ft Hunter sail yacht incl. with light lunch served onboard, enjoying beautiful Geographe Bay for only $299 for up to 2 persons. $10 charge for access to a nearby (100m) fully equipped neighbourhood gym.

      This first floor apartment is a little piece of heaven set in quiet gardens backing on to a beach reserve . Sit on the sheltered balcony overlooking the pool and listen to the waves gently breaking on the shore. Take a walk through the peppermint trees and in a minute you are on the beach looking at beautiful Geographe Bay. Borrow the kayaks or stand up board and take a paddle on the calm waters. Beach chairs, beach umbrella and towels are provided for your convenience. There are two bikes to use as there is a bike path at the back of the property. Head into Busselton (20 minute ride) or Dunsborough (1 and half hour ride). Either way you ride you will be amazed at the scenery and the beautiful tranquil bay. You can be assured of peace and seclusion in this private apartment.The apartment has a spacious lounge/dining area, a large TV and DVD player (wide range of DVD's to choose from), dining table with seating for 4 overlooking the garden/pool area. There is a 3 seater sofa and armchair to put your feet up and relax. The kitchen has a full size fridge, convection microwave oven, two hotplates, electric wok, frypan, sandwich press, rice cooker, kettle and toaster and crockery and cutlery. Coffee and a variety of teas are supplied, plus homemade slice on arrival. The bedrooms have queen sized beds, overhead fans, bedside lamps and electric blankets for those chilly winter nights. In the master bedroom you will find a security safe, iron and ironing board. All rooms are tastefully furnished and decorated. There is a trundle bed and portable cot available if required. All areas have gas central heating and there is a portable air conditioner. The bathroom is modern and bright with shower, toilet, complimentary toiletries and hair dryer. There is also a powder room with separate toilet.The balcony overlooks the native peppermint trees and pool area. A bbq is provided with an outside alfresco area. Sit and listen to the gentle sounds of the waves and native birds in the trees. The perfect place to unwind at the end of a busy day of exploring with a glass of local wine.Sandpiper is so close to everything you will want to see and experience – just a short drive away. This is the perfect destination to take day trips and return to relax and put your feet up. Busselton town centre and famous wooden jetty is only 5 minutes drive away. Port Geographe Marina and Deck restaurant is only 15 minutes drive. A drive to Dunsborough is only 10 minutes away and Yallingup and the wonderful surf is only another 5 minutes further on. A wonderful half day tour would be to visit the Cape Naturaliste light house and whale watching lookout. Along the way visit the numurous secluded bays, Wise Winery, Eagle Bay Brewery, Eagle Bay Olive Farm and Bunker Bay cafe. Margaret River is only just over 30 minutes drive with over 54 wineries to visit along the way! Just over an hour away is Boronup Forrest with its majestic trees - drive through the middle of the forrest and experience the peace and serenity. Throughout the area are wineries, breweries, art galleries, restaurants and cafes. There are so many things to see and do – make sure you book in for long enough to see it all.

You can have all this area to yourselves by booking one room or up to four people in the 2 bedrooms all with queen size beds. You have a living area with TV, huge private bathroom with a massive bath & separate shower, laundry with washer & drier, kitchen with mini oven & stove, toaster, kettle and fridge. You have under cover parking with your own access directly into your half the house. The NeighborhoodWe are a 20 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute drive to town but sit outside and you'll feel so relaxed in your tree laden paradise. Dunsborough is a 20 minute drive, Margaret River wine district is a short 20 minute drive with many tourist attractions in between. Other Things to NoteOur home is pet friendly with 2 small dogs and 2 cats with a few families of possums residing in the peppy trees.

              The SpaceOur cottage has two bedrooms with queen size beds, one has an ensuite, the other has a television, there are 2 single day beds, which in the winter, are positioned to capture the warm winter sun. All linen is provided. Our new lounge room has a polished concrete floor, is light filled and has an inbuilt wood fire plus reverse cycle air conditioning which penetrates the whole house. There is a large rear, north facing patio with a barbeque, the front verandah has a sofa, ideal for relaxing in summer, adjacent to the large grassed, and fully fenced front yard, (ideal for children and pets). The kitchen has filtered rain water on tap and an ILVE stove with fish burner and wok burner, to cater for cooking up all the delicious local produce. There is room in the front yard for a boat , and the closest beach has a boat launching ramp. We have provided bikes and other sporting equipment, (the bike path along the beach goes all the way from Busselton to Dunsborough), we also have books, magazines, dvd's and games for you to enjoy. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes and visit the wetland morning and afternoon and see the Kangaroos feeding. There is a large array of birds that visit Starlight Hideaway as we have gardens all around and we are on the Wetland. Busselton is the regional event capital of the Australia and is central to Dunsborough Margaret River Bunbury. There is so much to do and see here. Visit the Underwater Observatory or go diving at the end of the Busselton Jetty it's one of the 10 top dive spots in the world. Explore the Wonnerup Vasse Bird-hides this area is of International significance for its water birds and take one of the many walking trails. You can cycle along the seaside path from Busselton to Dunsborough. Visit the Caves, the Wineries or eat out at the many gourmet restaurants and cafes. Take a short walk and have a swim and enjoy the breathe taking sunsets, and lots more .... Getting AroundYou can get to Busselton by bus from Perth but once you are here a car is needed to be able to see the sights. From this central location you can see and experience most of what the South West has to offer easily. If you intend to do site seeing you will need a vehicle. There is a lot to see in the South West and Busselton is central to the numerous attractions. People frequently tell me that they intend to walk to the wineries from Margaret River - this is just not possible. Between the many and varied places to see is expanses of beautiful bush and farms. When you stay at Starlight Hideaway you will enjoy the frog and native animal friendly garden. I have created habitats for my native neighbours in this chemical free environment - all water coming into the property is micro filtered. Humans and frogs are affected by chlorine and other chemicals I am doing my bit for the Eco system. You will benefit because a rest from chemicals gives your body a chance to rejuvenate and people with allergies and asthma often get welcomed relief.

                  The SpaceThis Modern home has a 50 sqm deck overlooking Geographe bay. The main bedroom looks over the water, with one way windows, to lay back in bed and watch the world go by in peace. House is designed as open living plan beach house. It has Tuart wood floors throughout the living areas. So easy to keep clean, even when you've been at the beach all day. There are three (3) other bedrooms in the main house. Bedroom 2 is a queen size bed, Bedroom 3 can be a King bed or two singles, and Bedroom 4 is two singles. Therefore the house can easily accommodate 8 people. There is a fully self contained (air conditioned) modern sleep out with a King bed (or two singles), small Kitchenette, and modern bathroom. It has a TV and is completely separate from main house. It is private and is great if a couple wants their own space from the rest of the group. This can be used instead of one of the rooms in the house. Use of this facility incurs an extra charge of $30 per night. (please note using this facility doesn't allow for you to have more than 8 people it just allows the group to be spread out a little more.) There is a 10m x 4m swimming pool for those not into the ocean. Table tennis, Golf clubs, darts, surf ski, stand-up paddle board, snorkelling equipment and fishing gear can also be arranged at no extra charge. Just let me know your desires. You will thoroughly enjoy this beautiful part of Western Australia. The great thing about this property is you don't need to go searching for things to do. It's all at the doorstep. We have a 2 night minimum stay period during regular periods and a 3 night stay period during holidays periods. This is not a party house. Neighbours rights are to be respected as if you lived here. Noise must be taken inside at a reasonable hour (9.30-10pm). This is not a suitable destination for hens and bucks nights, engagement parties and the like and we do not accept bookings for leavers week under any circumstances. Thank you for your understanding. Also Please note. Even when using the unit the total number of people staying at the property CANNOT exceed 8 persons, including children and babies. Getting AroundGo for beach walks, bring or hire a bicycle. Geographe Bay has plenty of bicycle and walk paths along the coast. The centre of town and busselton jetty is just 7kms away so having your own vehicle to drive into town and around the beautiful south west would be a preferred option. There is of road undercover parking, and a secure back yard for your bicycle I provide tea and coffee making facilities and supply breakfast, but ask that guests do not use the kitchen for cooking. I am happy to prepare meals from my home grown produce at minimal cost if required. Interaction with GuestsI lead a busy life and am often out and about, but usually nearby and contactable by phone. I meet guests on arrival, and give guests a key so they can come and go as they please.

Getting AroundPublic transport is available off the main road (Bussell Hwy). It is an easy drive into Busselton 10 mins, or Dunsborough 15mins and Margaret River 30 mins away. Local shops only 2 mins drive away or a 10 min walk. Property is also located on the cycle path which goes from Dunsborough to Busselton for those wishing to bring bikes or even walk.
