The SpaceOldTown house in the historic center of Innsbruck
In the medival oldtown of Innsbruck we live in a original, average 600 year old building,
The basement walls are ~ 850 years old
First and second floor ~600, upper floors ~ 400 years.
not concreteised, but step by step modernized, building.
still working on it :-)
Ps: we are happy to have one of the best tap water qualities in Europe, so there is no need to by bottled water, Interaction with GuestsWe have 2 shops in the building, where we work, therefore our guests may contact us there during the day,
in emergency off course anytime :-)
Else we love to have a little chat with our guests, we try to be as helpful as possible, and provide any information needed.
Sometimes if our little spare time allows it we spent more time with our guests and share different activities. The NeighborhoodEverything Innsbruck offers 1 - 5 minute walk away: eat, drink, entertainment, sightseeing, mountains, sports, travel.
In our Street
breakfast Cafe & Restaurant
Pharmacy & Doctor
our Souvenir Shop
our Playing Card and Magic Shop
Nearby: Laundry Service Saloon, Getting AroundConnectivity is supergreat, walk, bike, bus, taxi, trainstation, airport,
even a train & gondola combo is only 200meters away :-) that takes you up the mountain :-)
No cars inside the oldtown though, parking only next to old town underground parking which is a bit expensive, ~ €15 per day, getting here by car can get a little complicated. Other Things to NoteAs our house is old and as mentioned not totally modernised,
the front door has to be closed manually (not locked)
The good thing in the towncenter, there are no cars passing by, during day nor night.
Only weekdays we have some cars in the morning that can be a little noisy.
On Friday and Saturday nights, it is a bit busier on the streets, so possibly you can hear the people, but that's the town center :-)
