The SpaceA studio apartment with a bathroom, living room and a kitchen - one open space with everything located in the same area. The entire apartment is at the disposal of the guests. It is spacious and comfortable and has the feeling of home. The needs of the guests are anticipated and provided for, but if anything else is needed, it is our pleasure to accommodate. We enjoy hosting our guests, allowing privacy and welcoming interaction as guests choose. Guest Accesslocal beaches are accessible by bus or car. It is advisable to rent a car or motorcycle! Interaction with GuestsWe live on compound(apartment is next to my home) and will be present sometimes. We are sensitive to the needs of the guests and will interact as much or as little as is indicated by actions and words. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is peaceful, and quiet. There is a small minimart about two minute walking distance. There is a small food court 15 mins away but you can go to the famous Oistins for lunch or dinner . Getting AroundWe are with five minutes drive from the renowned Oistins fishing Town and about twenty-five minutes walking distance. Public transportation is within ( depending on where you want to go) five - seven minutes walking distance. It is always a good idea to rent a car however if the Guests like to see authentic Barbados, getting around by bus is advised. If I am available, I will provide transportation where possible. There is a free pick-up from the airport. However there is a small fee to drop-off at the airport. Other Things to NoteGuests are reminded that check in and check out time is 12.30 respectively. Check in between 9 a.m. and midday or check out between 1 p.m and 5 p.m will attract an additional small fee of USD$10.Generosity abounds here, but the general rule is that hot beverage is free. Kitchen is equipped for cooking if necessary.

The SpaceThe sea breeze and sunshine pass through the many windows of our 2 story home lending to its island allure. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, and a large bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. Downstairs there is a spacious living room/dining room with windows all around, a fully stocked kitchen, a sitting room and bathroom. We have wireless internet, a television, a washing machine, and a garage. Relax on the front deck and watch people walk to and from the beach or sit under the large mango and avocado trees in the backyard. Interaction with GuestsLocal Property Manager available for the duration of your stay. The NeighborhoodThe house is a 3 minute walk to the best beach on the island, Miami/Enterprise Beach. It is a 10 minute walk to Oistins fish market where you can pick up freshly caught seafood from local fisherman. Every Friday night there is the famous Oistins Fish Fry where guests enjoy the local fare, music, performances, and parties. There is a grocery store, as well as fresh fruit and vegetable stands close to the fish market. Freight's Bay, a popular surfing break (and a great spot for beginners), is also a short walk from the house. St. Lawrence Gap, a popular nightlife center, is a 5-7 minute drive from the house. Getting AroundAirport pick-up, drop off and route guide can be arranged at an additional cost. Taxis are available from the airport. The fare is about $20 U.S. ZRs are small buses that provide the most efficient and affordable form of transportation (1US/2BDS per ride) in Barbados. They pass in front of the house on a regular basis and can be flagged to get you where you need to go. Taxi services and car rentals are also available, and we can provide information about these transportation options upon request. Parking for 3 cars is available.

The SpaceThis is a large first floor apartment within 50 metres of the beach at Freights Bay. Freights Bay is very popular with surfers. It has a large front garden and 70 ft rear garden, two large balconies and wifi. It really is a deluxe apartment. C'est la vie at *Sea La Vie*! You've spent the day surfing nearby, or at the beach and now it's time to chill! Rinse off in our rain style outdoor shower... and then head to the roof! Or through french doors onto "the front porch", a secure open-air living and dining area- set in the lush garden, which offers an ocean view through the front gates. The living room has cable TV and a "concierge" desk, with a map of all my favorite spots on the island, "Ins & Outs of Barbados" magazine, maps and useful information. There is also a set of dominos, cards, scrabble and backgammon for you to enjoy! The master bedroom has a queen size bed, en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet & cable TV. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed & cable TV. The third bedroom has a queen size bed. Fourth bedroom has a double bed. There is also a single bed mattress, which can moved as needed for youngsters, or young at heart adults. All bedrooms have air conditioning, except 4th bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need; fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, food processor, coffee maker, crockery, cutlery and glassware. There are even some local jams, chutneys and pepper sauces in the fridge for you to sample! We've also just added a propane BBQ, so you can grill up fresh fish from Oistins Fish Market! Washer/dryer in the laundry room and two clothes lines for an authentic "ocean breeze"scent. "Gain" has been trying to bottle it for ages! You will have the entire place to yourself, but don't be shy... you can reach me anytime via telephone or e-mail for questions about the house, tips about the island, or recommendations on car rentals, tours, babysitters or anything else! Lovely well maintained and upscale neighborhood. Safe and family friendly. Followed by Silver sands, home of Brian Talma and Surfers point for kite and wind surfing. Miami Beach: 10 minute walk, a calm side that is shallow without waves perfect for small children and infants and a not so calm side for the rest of us. "Mr. Delicious" canteen serves up local flavours: fish cakes, flying fish cutters, rotis, Bajan lemonade, rum punch and Banks Beer. Vendors on site with chairs & umbrellas.         If you want to experience a bit of local life yet be within walking distance of the beach and the town of Oistins, then this is the place for you. The apartment has a separate kitchen, living room and dining area. As well as being air conditioned, having wifi, a television and a selection of board games. A large shopping plaza is only two minutes walk away as is the bus stop. Wotton is a quiet residential area about 15 minutes walk inland from Oistins. It is unusual in that it has a small shopping complex with a large supermarket within a few minutes walk in what is otherwise a local housing area. There are bus stops within a couple of minute walk from which can catch a bus to Oistins and Bridgetown. Oistins is a tourist area so has a variety of restaurants, shop and beaches.

There is ample parking on the property if you are renting a car with easy access to highways, otherwise public transport is readily available as there is a bus stop conveniently located nearby. Taxis can be found at the nearby shopping centre or we have listed the telephone number of a taxi driver, "Reliable Ricky" :-) as he's been named by our special repeat guest. Other Things to NoteDuring the period October 2016 to September 2017, there is construction taking place on a nearby lot so you might hear some noise. The cottage will be available for rental during this period and we have now installed air conditioning throughout the cottage for your comfort. The NeighborhoodEnterprise is an exceptionally pretty area on the South coast of Barbados where you can swim and surf with the turtles in Freights bay or relax on Miami beach which is shaded by Casuarina trees and has a great little bus that sells local food, rum punch and cold drinks - all just a few minutes walk from the house. Oistins is a couple of mins drive, or 10 mins walk along the coast road and has a big supermarket and daily fish market with local bars and great food - with a weekly `fish-fry´ on Fridays, where locals and visitors eat, meet, dance and enjoy true Barbadian hospitality. Getting AroundThe buses on the coast road are just a few mins walk away, the main buses into Bridgetown are about 7 mins walk from the house. Taxi´s from the airport cost about $20US dollars. Hire cars are delivered to the house or you can be met at the airport by the hire car company. There is a private parking space for your hire car at Driftwood. Other Things to NoteWe don´t accept bookings for the apartment for less than 3 nights and unfortunately we don't accept children. The apartment is kept cool with ceiling fans however air conditioning is available for 10$US per day, paid to Margaret the manager. It has polished wooden floors, ceiling fans in every room and a lovely large veranda overlooking the private garden which keeps the house cool on the hottest days. The short walk to the beach (100yds) means the house is perfect for families with children as they can walk to the beach in a minute or two. If you get up early enough you can sit on the terrace and watch a small family of monkeys who visit the garden early each morning in the hope of finding a gifted banana or mango. . In the very early morning (5:30) locals use the golf course pathways as part of a daily routine of excerise which you can also follow or a 5 minute drive to Miami beach you can have an early morning swim or walk up and down the beach. The golf course I think opens for a first tee time around 06:30 !! Getting AroundA very regular bus service runs from outside the complex to Ostins and Bridgetown or in the other direction to the airport. There are also a number of smaller minivans that provide the same service. I personally rent a car to explore the whole island for which my manager can also arrange if required. One of the other bedrooms has a queen size bed and the third one 2 single beds. Outside there is a splash pool and a garden. Mosquito nets and security bars in the windows. Alarm system and gate control from inside the villa. The guests have the entire villa to use. There are two villas available. The gated compoud has two private entrances equiped with code control systems. There is a parking in the house, with internal access and automatic gates.             The SpaceThree bedroom one bathroom home with a lovely balcony to the front where you can enjoy the view. The home has a living room, dining room, and a large kitchen. All of the rooms have fans. There is also access to a shower on the outside. There is a stove, oven, fridge, electric kettle, and toaster. A small tv is in the living room and there is wifi internet access. From mid-April to mid-November, $145 for 3 or less and an additional $75 for additional guests up to full capacity of 7; From mid-November to mid-April, $175 for 3 or less and an additional $100 for additional guests up to full capacity of 7; Interaction with GuestsThe owner meets the guests on arrival, as I am not the property manager. I usually meet guests on the day they arrive and can act as a link with the owner, but the guests have direct access to the owner as well. The NeighborhoodEasy walking to the popular surfing spot of Freights Bay and Miami Beach. Oistins is also just beyond Miami Beach. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop just in front of the house but buses run once an house, and this is the St. Christopher route from Oistins.             The SpaceWell kept large 2 bedroom apartment in the village area of Wotton near the famous Bajan town of Oistins. Wotton is a quiet residential area just up the hill from Oistins. Yet there is a supermarket 50 metres away and it is on the Bus route. About 15 minutes walk away is the sea front and Oistins. Oistins has a market, fish market and numerous restaurants and shops and other facilities. This two bedroom property has a separate lounge with seating for 10 people, a separate kitchen and a separate dining area. If you want to be within walking distance of the beach but yet only have the sound of the treefrogs and the crickets when you retire for the evening, then this is the place for you.
