The SpaceThree restaurants, a pub, a pharmacy, a gas station, a grocery store, Palm Grove Gardens and Verdmont Museum are all within walking distance. The main bus service is located at the entrance to the estate on the main South Shore Road. John Smith's Bay is a 5 minute bus or moped drive away. Devonshire Bay, where you can purchase local fresh fish for dinner is also within walking distance. The city of Hamilton is 10 minutes away by bus or moped. The Bermuda Aquarium is 5 minutes away on a moped as is Rustico, a great little Italian restaurant in picturesque Flatt's Village. The apartment comforts include a queen-size bed and two twin beds (converted to a King bed if you desire). It will definitely fit four people comfortably. There is a full kitchen, including glass-top stove & oven, full fridge with top freezer, toaster, microwave, coffee-maker, hand mixer, electric knife, blender and electric kettle. It is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, etc....all you need in your kitchen to cook a delicious meal......including a Bermuda Cook Book! There is also a front load washer & dryer located within the apartment (laundry detergent is supplied). The apartment also offers a table with four chairs/two stools for dining-in, a daybed with trundle bed (for that extra guest), chair & ottoman, recliner, 42" flat screen cable TV, DVD player with assortment of DVD's, wireless internet, radio/alarm clock, an ironing board/iron, hairdryer and full bathroom. There is a swimming pool on the property where you can relax and enjoy reading one of the Bermuda books to read up on the island or an assortment of regular reading books which are supplied. The apartment has reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout. There is a patio area with a table and chairs, a chiminea and a gas barbeque. A telephone is in the apartment for local use but arrangements must be made with the owner for Long Distance calls. The apartment is tiled throughout except for the larger bedroom which is carpeted. Ample linens are provided, including beach towels and beach mats. Small coolers are also provided for those cool drinks at the beach as well as a beach umbrella. Maid service is not provided. The ocean can be viewed from the queen-bed bedroom, living room and, of course, the patio area. $220 per night for one or two guests; $30 per night for each additional guest, up to a maximum of 5 guests. Pack n Play and high chair for a baby is available on request. Guest AccessPlease do not smoke in the apartment but feel free to smoke on the patio, by the pool or on the grounds. Ashtrays are provided in these areas. Plastic plates, glasses etc. are provided for use by the pool area. Forgot a particular toiletry? Don't worry, shampoo, bath gel, lotion, toothbrush/paste will be provided until you can purchase your own from the pharmacy at the bottom of the hill. Celebrating a special occasion? Please let me know this when booking. Also, let me know whether you would prefer the king bed or two singles. Interaction with GuestsI will be here to greet you upon your arrival and am always just a few steps away should you need any assistance. I have a beautiful 'blue' Great Dane who would love to make friends with you but, don't worry, he does not have access to the apartment so making of friends will be on your terms. The NeighborhoodIt is a quiet, private estate centrally located and has all amenities (grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, bar, gas station) within walking distance. As it is centrally located, access to beaches and both ends of the island are easy. Getting AroundBus stops at the bottom of the estate make access to Hamilton (capital) and St. George's quite convenient. Pre-arranged taxi service to and from the airport can be arranged at a cost of $35 US cash, payable directly to the driver upon arrival at your destination. The driver knows exactly where to come so no worries about getting lost in a taxi where the driver is unfamiliar with your desired location. The SpaceOur Bermuda cottage is centrally located in the Parish of Devonshire. We are located in a friendly residential neighborhood high on a hill enjoying beautiful unobstructed ocean views. The apartment below our cottage comfortably accommodates 2 people. The apartment is fully equipped with a small but modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots & pans, coffee maker and toaster. A bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, TV, iron & ironing board, hangers and robes. Living/dining room area with TV. One beautiful bathroom with a Kohler deep soaking tub and a hairdryer. Linen room stocked with bath towels, beach towels and blankets. For entertainment the apartment is outfitted with cable TV, wireless internet and a phone for local calls only. This is a self-catered unit but we stock a few items to help get you started. Guest AccessGuests will have access to an outdoor patio to sit and watch the sunsets or just relax. Interaction with GuestsI am available to meet and greet guests when they arrive. As I live in the main house (upstairs) I am on hand should guests have any questions. In saying this I give guests their space to explore Bermuda independently. I have no problem making recommendations for attractions or giving out contacts of trusted tour guides/taxis. I want guests to make themselves at home, as if it were their own and enjoy their visit most importantly. The NeighborhoodIt is peaceful, quiet and sits high on a hill with amazing views of the ocean. It also is situated on one of Bermuda's Historical Railway Trails which is now a walkable trail. You can walk 20 mins to the nearest beach which is Police Beach. The next beach Shelly Bay Beach is much larger and is a 10 minute drive away. The location lends itself as easy to commute to the city center, plus we sit on 3 bus lines. We are also very close to a popular 9-hole golf course called Ocean View Golf Course. We are a 5 minute walk from the neighborhood's convenience store and a 5 minute drive away from the nearest grocery store. Getting AroundThe bus stop is a 10- min walk from the property. There are 3 bus routes to choose from. The area is quite hilly in all directions so please make sure to pack your walking shoes! Other Things to NoteFrom time to time, we dog-sit a small, friendly dog (miniature schnauzer) and you may see him patrol the property, but he mainly stays in our area upstairs of the house. The SpaceWe offer yoga, meditation, kirtan, ecstatic dance, movie nights and more on our upstairs level. Downstairs is your haven for peace and relaxation. Spirit House is a wonderful place to come home to after a day of exploring the island. Your bedroom is private...you will be able to lock up. The rest of the space is somewhat shared in that a yoga teacher might make a cup of tea before their class, a student may come down to use the downstairs bathroom or have a cup of tea on the front porch. This doesn't happen very often as a rule...but just a heads up. We do have a very strict NO ALCOHOL policy which we enforce. Our space is sacred space...a place for people to come to find their inner peace so we feel very strongly about protecting the energy Guest AccessTwelve foot deep covered porch for dining and hanging out. Gardens to enjoy. Classes upstairs in group room if you wish to join in. Use of washer and dryer available up at the main house upon request. $4.00 a load for washer and dryer. $2.00 a load for washer and clothes line. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is rural but only a ten minute bus ride into Hamilton, our city. Unfortunately buses do not run at night, however, we are only a five minute taxi ride from town. The railway trail has beautiful views of the ocean and is a very short walk away; perfect for walks or runs. Beaches are 10-15 minutes away by moped or taxi. Getting AroundWe are on a bus route that offers buses during the day only. Taxis are easy to find for your ride back. Mopeds are a great way to get around... but we only recommend this option to those who already have experience with mopeds. Other Things to NotePlease visit our web-site for more information.     This beautiful property is located on the South Shore close to all the popular beaches and directly across from Warwick Long Bay which was listed by CNN as one of the top beaches in the world. Downstairs you'll find a living room and kitchen with cable TV, pull-out Queen size sofa, dishwasher, and table and chairs. Upstairs is a bright, open bedroom overlooking the garden, and a modern bathroom and walk-in closet. Guest AccessA private entrance and virtually your own backyard and waterfront access, complete with porch for outside dining/relaxing and a picnic table on the lawn. The front/lower part of the property is a marsh (environmentally protected land) in which you might spy herons, ducks, coots, turtles, dragonflies and many other beautiful signs of life! Interaction with GuestsWe live in the main house and I (Kathy) am home much of the time and happy to help with information, directions, and whatever you need. Check-in time is 3pm unless otherwise arranged. (Please let me know if you require a different check-in time.) Check-out time is 11am.         On the south shore coast in Devonshire, we are pleased to offer the Cottage which sleeps two guests only. With a pool to laze in, a beautiful garden that meanders down to the sea and the shore, the Cottage has everything a visitor to Bermuda could ask for. Cable TV and DVD player, as well as high-speed wireless internet (with your own laptop). King or Twin Beds. The bedroom is separate, with two singles beds that assemble into a King bed upon request. Maid service will be provided on a weekly basis for bookings of two weeks or more. Linens are provided, in addition to both bath and beach towels. Cottage amenities include: living room with Cable TV, high-speed wireless internet (with your own laptop), air conditioning, and a proper kitchen with fridge (freezer compartment on top) and stove with oven. There is a charcoal barbecue available as well and a microwave oven, coffee maker, iron and board, radio, tape machine etc. The living room is a separate room. There are dining facilities and a comfortable areas to relax as well. There is a private telephone line which requires BERMUDA calling card for all overseas calls. These cards are available all over the island at grocery store, gas stations etc. The private bathroom is a three-piece with large glass enclosed shower. A hairdryer is available. Located between Hungry Bay and Devonshire Bay, the property is not 10 minutes to Hamilton by moped, and the regular bus service we estimate no more than 15 minutes. Devonshire has many attractions visitors often miss: The Arboretum and the Botanical Gardens are wonderful repositories of native and imported species of trees, shrubs and flowers. The old Devonshire Church is still lit with candles for services: the original was built in 1624, then rebuilt in 1716. Rebuilt again after a disaster in 1970, the reconstructed stone building and its lovely silver from 1590 is well worth a look. Then there is the Fort on the coast at Devonshire Bay and the Ocean View Golf Course on the North Shore Road: all this is within 3 miles of your cottage! There is the opportunity to use laundry facilities for stays of a week or more (at a mutually convenient time). The swimming pool is gracefully shared with the home owners. Lindos Supermarket is one mile away and Northrock restaurant, Mr. Chicken, and Specialty Inn all less than a mile and a half way.

            The SpaceBeautiful poolside cottage with entertainment area right outside door. Property is surrounded by a tropical garden in the quiet parish of Devonshire. Bus stop is 2 minutes walking distance for both routes and only a 25 minute walk from Hamilton City. Lindos supermarket is located just under 1 mile away with laundromat in same area. The cottage is fully air- conditioned and has heat available for the winter months. It contains a fully equipped kitchen , dining area, full bathroom with towels ,plus beach towels are provided. Bedroom with queen bed / living area with sofa queen pull out bed . There is a Smart TV, cable, wireless internet, keurig coffee machine with complementary tea , coffee and creamers , plenty of drawers and closet space and an outside BBQ. Lots of out door chairs, loungers for by the pool or garden and a relaxing hammock. Sun umbrellas and one with pretty LED lights for the night time. Smoking is allowed outside and there is weekly maid service. Also included is courtesy airport pick up and drop off as well as a trip to the grocery store, please let us know if required. Guest AccessWhen you arrive the keys will be handed to you at the door of the cottage. Pool area is accessable at all times and you can freely come and go as you please. Interaction with GuestsWe will make you feel at home but will respect your privacy. We are happy to socialise and will provide you with local insight to where you should go aka beaches, restaurants, ect. The NeighborhoodVery friendly, safe, and quiet area. Many gardens and very green. Not a built up area. Beaches are close by. Getting AroundBus stop is only 2 minutes walking distance and Hamilton City is about a 25 minute walk or 5 minute bus/ taxi ride. Devonshire is THE central parish of Bermuda so everything will be easily accessible. Transport is very easy to get. Bermuda Mopeds can be rented from Hamilton City with plenty of parking at the cottage. Other Things to NoteShortly after your booking I will contact you to sort out arrival and departure times as well as if you need to go grocery shopping. Dry goods and condiments will be supplied such as salt, pepper, herbs and spices, paper towels, garbage bags etc. There is one little dog (called Bubbles) who will mostly be in the main house. She will not go near the cottage as very timid. Speaking of animals... by being a sub tropical island it means that there are a variety of insects. We do have regular pest control services but we do ask you to do your part and help by keeping surfaces clean (cleaning products will be supplied). Try not to leave food on the counters or dirty dishes in the sink. If insects, like ants, do get in there will be insect spray provided under the kitchen sink.

Not far away is Collector's Hill complex that has several restaurants, a pharmacy, gas station and supermarket. Getting AroundThere is designated parking for rental scooters and at the end of the road, there are bus stops on either side of the road heading into Hamilton or east towards the airport and St George's. Other Things to NoteWe are a pet friendly property. There are no pets in or near the private apartment rental, but the ocean deck and BBQ that might be shared with main house may also be accessed by a small dog (long-haired mexican Chihuahua) and several cats.

                This charming house has a stunning Cliffside location with an uninterrupted view across the beautiful South Shore Ocean and is located within an easy walk of Church Bay Beach, a great favourite for snorkeling. This little cove is formed by coral cliffs at the western end of the south-shore beaches. The beach park is at the top of a small hill. A steep pathway and a staircase from the park leads down to this wonderful beach. Buses on the South Road are within easy reach to Hamilton and Somerset. The casual living accommodation consists of a compact kitchen and an open plan living and dining area with cedar French doors leading out to the garden, where you can sit and relax with your own special view, including Bermuda Longtails sweeping into their nests in the cliffs below.                 The apartment is a lower, 2 bedroom, 1 full bath, apartment, located on South Shore, Devonshire, at the end of a cul-de-sac, in a quiet, private estate. Three restaurants, a pub, a pharmacy, a gas station, a grocery store, Palm Grove Gardens and Verdmont Museum are all within walking distance. The main bus service is located at the bottom of the estate, on the main South Shore Road. John Smith's Bay is a 5 minute bus or moped drive away. Devonshire Bay, where you can purchase local fresh fish for dinner, is also within walking distance. The city of Hamilton is 10 minutes away by bus or moped. The Bermuda Aquarium is 5 minutes away on a moped as is Rustico, a great little Italian restaurant in picturesque Flatt's Village. There is a swimming pool on the property and the apartment comforts include a queen-size bed and two twin beds (converted to a king size bed if required). There is a full kitchen, including glass-top stove & oven, full fridge with top freezer, toaster, microwave, coffee-maker, hand mixer, electric knife, blender and electric kettle. It is fully equipped with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, cutlery etc....all you need in your kitchen...even a Bermuda cook book! There is also a front load washer and dryer located in the kitchen and laundry detergent is supplied. The apartment also offers a table and chairs for dining-in, a daybed with trundle bed (for that extra guest), chair & ottoman, Recliner, 42” flat screen cable TV, DVD player with assortment of DVD's, wireless internet, alarm clock, an ironing board/iron and hairdryer. A small library of Bermuda books as well as an assortment of regular books is also available for your reading pleasure. The apartment has reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout. We are also very close to a popular 9-hole golf course called Ocean View Golf Course. We are a 5 minute walk from the neighborhood's supermarket called Lindo's. Getting AroundThe bus stop is a 10- min walk from the property. There are 2 bus routes to choose from. The area is quite hilly in all directions so please make sure to pack your walking shoes! Other Things to NoteLindo’s supermarket is within easy walking distance of Secret and bus stops to Hamilton or St. George's and to the beaches on South Shore. The nearest small beach is located in Devonshire Bay on South Road. There is a completely separate studio apartment downstairs which is occupied full time by the Host. This is a NO smoking house.
