Hotel Solar do Caeté works in a historic building built around 1909, situated on the edge of the river Caeté Bragança-PA in the city. Originally the residence of an influential politician named Augusto Bragantine Correa, who was mayor of the city. During World War II he worked at the site of Club 22 was frequented by U.S. soldiers and Bragantina society. After the war he worked in building schools Anita Oliveira.
