The SpaceThe suite has its own private entrance, with your own key. Your room has a private sauna, en-suite bathroom, fridge, microwave and cable on the brand new 32 inch flatscreen Tv, or simply sit back and catch up on emails with complimentary wifi. Suite comfortably sleeps 2, but also has a love seat pull out mattress for a third. Please note due to the the air circulation and safety of the sauna, the bathroom has a full privacy curtain. Guest AccessShared gym, private locked room that includes sauna, en-suite bathroom, shared laundry. Interaction with GuestsWe are available for any questions or concerns the guest may have but we want them to enjoy their privacy. The NeighborhoodWe are located in southwest Calgary. A 15 minute drive to downtown. 40 minutes to the mountains. The path to the amazing Glenmore Reservoir Loop, as well as Fish Creek Park is across the street.If you love a beautiful walk, bike ride, or rollerblade, these are Calgary's biggest attractions.Heritage Park is minutes away by car or by bike.Really nice pubs and shopping nearby. 5 minute drive to two major shopping centres- Chinook and Southcentre. The bus stop is half a block away. The area is clean and quiet. Getting AroundThe bus stop is half a block down the street at the very end of Crescent. The train station is 4 minutes away by car. We have bikes you can borrow with a deposit.

The SpacePlease message me before booking as I also take guests from other sites. Since 2010 we have welcomed guests from all over the world to our relaxing and friendly home. We genuinely enjoy meeting our guests and providing you with an at home atmosphere. You will be offered a continental breakfast and a drink centre for warm beverages which is also available for your use throughout the day. Free airport pick-up for 2 week stays or longer. Our home is a large, modern and a very clean 2 storey home (5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms). Guests may use our wonderful movie theatre for watching movies at home - there is also a private front room with T.V. for guest use only. The guest rooms are located on the second floor close to private bathroom shared only by guests. Each guest room has been tastefully decorated with your comfort in mind. Also available is a basement bedroom with double bed and private bath. Located in the quiet, beautiful and very safe community of Sundance Lake. Far enough away from the rush of downtown but with easy access to it. Close to many wonderful recreational opportunities - 2 beautiful lakes, we are on the south side of an expansive and scenic 3000 acre provincial park with an abundance of wildlife for your enjoyment - you can for hike, jog and/or bike (bikes available for guests use). There is also a YMCA within walking distance (swimming, skating, gym). Just 5 minute drive to the world famous Spruce Meadows and the Bow River. Short drive to Bragg Creek, Kananaskis Country, and not much further to Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise, and the Beautiful Rocky Mountains Walk to the c-train station which provides easy transportation to all corners of our city. We also have easy access to Heritage Park, Chinook Mall, South Centre Mall, Spruce Meadows, Flour Daniels, St. Mary's University and McLeod Trail. Street parking in front of our home is available. The SpaceWelcome to Calgary, gateway to the Rockies! You will be very comfortable is this nicely appointed, family-friendly basement suite located in the inner-city community of Renfrew (borders on the community of Bridgeland). The community is an established area well over 50 years old with beautiful tree lined streets and views of the downtown & Deerfoot valley. Easy access to major roads (Deerfoot Trail, 16 Avenue, Memorial Drive), as well as a short 5-10 minute WALK to the Calgary Zoo, Telus Spark Science Center, Zoo LRT station, restaurants, parks & coffee shops. Come enjoy the private one-bedroom basement suite in our home with separate entrance, kitchen, full bath, living room and large windows. The suite has one QUEEN bed and a comfortable pullout double sofabed in the living room. If you are a family of more than 4 and would like to stay, please feel free to ask. There is enough room to have you bring your own single air mattress and set it up in the living room for a fifth person. There is also a professional grade Tornado Foosball table in the living room for your use. The unit has hot water in-floor heating throughout to enhance your comfort. All floors are tile or parquet. Parking is on-street in front of our house. Microwave, toaster oven, cooking utensils, pots & pans, Keurig coffee maker and kettle are all in the kitchen for your convenience. Basic coffee/tea supplies provided as well as spare blankets, towels and a bathroom scale (in case you want to weigh your luggage). Access to laundry facilities, iron & ironing board can be made available upon request. THERE IS NO TV IN THE SUITE!!! Also I do not provide food/meals for guests outside of the coffee/tea/instant oatmeal I leave in the kitchen. As a guest you need to provide you own personal toiletries (razors, curling iron, etc). There is hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, facial tissue & toilet paper in the bathroom, dish soap, paper towels & tea towels in the kitchen for your use during your stay. Home owners with children reside here with our dog (the dog is not given access to the rental suite). If you have a pet that you are travelling with please inform us to get approval PRIOR to booking, we try our best to be 'pet-friendly'. All animals must be house-broken and obedient. It would also be GREATLY appreciated if you kept your pets off the furniture & beds. We live across the street from a large off-leash dog park as well which makes it extremely convenient to walk your dog daily. Pets will not be allowed in our yard however. Below are approximate distances from some major venues in Calgary: Airport - 17 kilometres (approx taxi fee from airport to our house: $40) Calgary Zoo - 2 kilometres Telus Spark Science Center - 2 kilometres Heritage Park Historical Village - 17 kilometres Fort Calgary - 4 kilometres Calgary Tower - 4 kilometres Saddledome - 4 kilometres Calgary Stampede Grounds - 4 kilometres Canada Olympic Park - 19 kilometres University Of Calgary - 11 kilometres Mount Royal University - 12 kilometres Spruce Meadows - 33 kilometres Telus Convention Center - 4 kilometres Greyhound Bus Terminal - 7 kilometers (approx $15 taxi fee from our house) Please remember to leave the suite as you found it! Host will wash all the suite laundry after you depart (towels, bedding), I just ask you DO NOT leave me a sink full of dirty dishes! Because a number of guests have started leaving me dishes to clean (or reclean), I have started to charge a $15 cleaning fee as well. Please refer to calendar for exact dates/pricing. Amount of $450 is required as a damage deposit on all stays. This will be returned, via AirBnB website, at check out provided there are no damages to the suite. Check out is 12pm (noon), Check-in 4pm-10pm. Sometimes depending on whether or not the night previous to your stay is booked I can allow for an earlier check-in, but I do not typically accept bookings where guests will arrive after 10pm. Flexible cancellation policy. Please review on AirBnB's webpage about the policy to fully understand the terms & conditions prior to booking. Security deposit of $450 is held on all stays via AirBnB's policies. This amount is not negotiable. Please read through the AirBnB FAQ's in regards to what a security deposit is & why hosts charge it to understand if you are unclear. Note: Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. Cannot accept cats due to allergies. We speak French!. Resident dog at property as well but she is not given access to the suite. Guest AccessGuests have access to the suite via a separate entrance with key or electronic code. Also laundry access if requested (washer/dryer). Guests are not given access to the yard other than the throw their garbage/recycling out. Interaction with GuestsTypically either my husband of I meet the guests upon arrival & have a chat about the suite as well as provide information about locking up etc. If I am unable to meet you in person I will give you instructions to let yourselves in. Some guests may stay and not end up meeting us in person at all if our schedules just don't end up having us cross paths. Other than that guests are free to come & go as they please. If a guest has any questions or concerns they are welcome to either come ring the doorbell to talk to us, phone or preferably send an email/text message. We're a busy family & aren't always around so an email/text is typically the best way to get in touch. The NeighborhoodRenfrew is a well established neighborhood located NE of the city's downtown core. We are a 10 min walk to either the Telus Spark Science Center and the Calgary Zoo, two of Calgary's biggest attractions. The city's train system (called the LRT) is located at the Zoo entrance and can take you too all quadrants of the city (fees apply for purchasing tickets). The park which is located across the street from our house used to be part of the Zoo as well way back in the 1950s & 1960s! Today, it is called Tom Campbell's Hill Natural Park. With FANTASTIC views of the city year round & prime views of New Years, Canada Day as well as Stampede fireworks, it is a great place to go for a walk. Just be prepared for lots of dogs because it is also a busy off-leash park. Our community is slowly being revitalized with lots of new residential construction. Go down the hill to the community of Bridgeland/Riverside for a coffee or breakfast as well. See the map on my listing for locations of recommended sights/attractions/food/beverage establishments. For your own safety please do not leave any valuables in your vehicles. We live in a safe area but leaving valuables can attract thieves anywhere. Prevention is the best action to take! Getting AroundThe city's train system, the LRT, has a stop located at the Calgary Zoo which is approximately a 15 min walk from our house. You just need to walk south across Tom Campbell Hill park then down the hill to the zoo entrance. The closest bus stop to our house is approximately 10-15 min to the north just off of Child Ave & Park Cres NE. There are a number of other bus stops to the west of our house down the hill in the community of Bridgeland (Center Ave & 12 St NE both have many bus stop locations). If you are driving, very easy & quick access to major roads such as 16 Ave (Highway 2), Deerfoot Trail (Highway 1), Memorial Drive and Edmonton Trail. As in quick, approximately a 2-5 min drive to any of these roads. Other Things to NoteWe are a busy, active family and it can get noisy in our house so guests need to be aware of this before booking so that they don't set unreasonable expectations of total silence during their stay. That being said, we try to make every effort to keep the noise level down (ie running in the house) between 7am-8pm. Just keep this in mind before you book! We are a family with School aged children who are typically up around 7am most days, especially during the school year. Although we try our best to keep the kids as quiet as we can in the mornings I cannot guarantee total silence to guests. The sound of little feet may wake you up earlier than you planned. I ask you please consider this BEFORE booking so you are making an informed decision about whether or not to book. If the sound of kids early in the morning doesn't sound appealing then it is probably best you book with another accommodation.

(generally I don't allow pets. However I'll evaluate some exceptional pet situations. You can rent this home either fully furnished, partially, or unfurnished. The rate quoted is unfurnished. Modest fee for furnished. Washer/Dryer/Dishwasher/Fridge/Stove/Microwave. Close to city core, University and hospital are 5 min walking distance. Two Large Malls close by. Alberta Children's Hospital 5 min walk or 2 min drive. Football Stadium 10 min walk. Baseball Stadium 10 min walk. Nearby Indoor public pool, Indoor Hockey Rink, Indoor Tennis Facility -- all less than 10 min walk. Central location with fast easy access to most parts of the city. 5 mins to downtown. One of the best locations in the city. This home is within the (URL HIDDEN) service area so inexpensive transportation is readily available without the high cost of analog car rental rates. Hosted by friendly and knowledgeable traveler. Currently accepts both Canadian and US dollars at par. 60 minute drive to Banff, 90 minute drive to Lake Louise. Public Transit "light rail transit" close by. Walking distance. Bus system also feeding LRT system only 3 minute walk. Also within Car2go pickup zone. Usually a car2go within a 2 minute walk. Quiet neighborhood -- mostly professionals -- pride of ownership shows as you explore this area. Nice parks, walking, hiking, biking, blading, trails. Calgary has one of the most extensive and best groomed trail systems anywhere. Canada Olympic park has luge, bobsledding, skiing, Olympic ski jumps, and a lot more. World class Kananaskis golf course is only 40 mins. Many other fine golf courses both public, semi-private, and private are scattered all over the city. Calgary has a lot of beautiful parks for walking, sightseeing, an awesome zoo, this neighborhood (known as University Heights) alone has several parks and a nicely crafted wildlife park with massive pond, ducks, geese, and many other birds. New broadloom throughout main floor, just painted, new roof. Sprinkler System, Lawn and garden care and snow shovelling done for you. Home has been upgraded every 10 years and is in very good condition. RV parking in rear for unit up to 32' long. The "hot tub" I checked off is actually a jetted tub in the bathroom. It is not a large outdoor style hot tub. While there is over 3000 square feet of space in the home only about 2400 +/- has been developed and the rest is for storage and utility space with workbench, shelving, and storage cabinets. Lots of shelving and cabinetry throughout including the storage areas. There is an additional two car garage in the rear of the property that may be rented if needed. Most people are happy with the two car attached garage and do not need the second garage so I'm currently using it for storage. However if you need the space for a workshop, studio, or just for more vehicles the extra garage is also available for a (reasonable) negotiable fee. If you don't want it but later change your mind to rent it out -- you have that option as well. Further the extra garage can be rented with or without a completed professional woodworking space complete with dust collection and a large assortment of power and hand tools. If this interests you I'll send you a full description on request.. I claimed handicap accessible because we'll put a ramp with vehicle (such as handibus) access to the ramp onto the large deck, rear entryway, and private entry to master bedroom if required. (available only with 3 year lease or greater).

The community borders onto nose Hill Park and has several green spaces along with natural coulee's located throughout the area. House is 10 minutes drive to Calgary airport, 10 minutes to UofC and 20 minutes to downtown. This house is also close to transit stop that provides good access to LRT. Superstores, bank and other essentials are just walking distance. Guest AccessGuests have entry from the main door only. As soon as you are confirmed, we can arrange a time that works for the both of us for checking in and out. Only for long term guests main door keys will be provided. Interaction with GuestsWe can interact with you as much or as little as you like. We all have pretty busy lifestyles but still like to enjoy some downtime. The NeighborhoodEdgemont is in one of the safest and highly regarded neighbourhoods in Calgary. If you like the outdoors we are only about an hour to an hour and half away from Banff and Lake Louise and about forty-five minutes to Canmore. The Dalhousie train station and Market mall & North Hill malls are both close by making it a very accessible location. There are also walkways and parks nearby for your pleasure! Getting AroundWe are about a 10 minute bus to the Dalhousie C-train Station that's connected to all of Calgary. Bus number 154 and 54 stops are 100 mts far. If you are driving, there is additional free street parking available in front of the house. All rooms are located on the top floor and directly beside a full bathroom. Plently of space and privacy in this home as well as free WiFi and use of a computer and printer. There is also a full kitchen and laundry...tons of parking, deck in a huge and secure back yard and large unfinished basement if you may need to store larger items like bicycles during your stay. There are two different living rooms on the main floor, one with tv and surround sound system as well as a wood burning fireplace and another that is large and open and great for visiting! Telus optic TV is throughout the house! The neighbourhood is amazing! Mountain "peeks" out the front windows and on the front deck and everything you could possibly want just down the street in the shopping area including all fast food restaurants, Wal-Mart, Safeway and Co-op and sooooo much more! And just up the street is an awesome pub called Denim with 9 cent wings on wednesdays, GREAT live music and a Life-size JENGA drinking game! Transit route buses go directly down Canyon Meadows Drive to the C-train (email hidden)ry quick and convenient. There are two park/playgrounds nearby, one at the beginning of the alleyway and one at the end. I'm a hairstylist so don't be afraid to get a haircut from me while you're here! :) Enjoy you're stay here in Calgary in my favourite neighbourhood in the city in my home which I absolutely love and absolutely love to share with great people from all over the world! There is an abundance of activities that can be done in this vast park including swimming, hiking, biking,fishing and just touring around with a soccer ball or baseball! Getting AroundThere is a direct, one road bus route to the C-Train station which takes only 10 minutes to downtown.

The SpaceThis is one of 3 bedrooms available in my home for nightly stays of up to three weeks at a time. It boasts a beautiful distant mountain range view on clear days, a very comfortable queen size bed that can sleep two and Telus Optic TV. The room has a closet and a small shelving unit in it and is located on the top floor along with the three other rooms available for stays and the guest bathroom. It is a perfect setting for a family coming through town or even just a single person in for a business trip! Wi-Fi is included as well as the use of a computer and printer if need be. Full laundry is available for you to use, as well as kitchen...feel free to prepare your own meals, there is more than one grocery store located within two blocks of here! There is a bus route to the nearest c-train station which is Canyon Meadows Station, and the bus stop is located just at the beginning of Deerview Drive at Canyon Meadows Drive. Super convenient access to downtown, but without being in the rush of downtown. The house is all free range so guests are more than welcome to not just stay cooped up in their room. Think of my home like a very comfortable and quiet hostel! Fun! The SpaceBasement suite with private living room and kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The suite is downstairs and a flight of stairs gets you to your suite. We have one bedroom with a Queen bed. We love families and are happy to accommodate the kids. An air mattress can be set up for extra guests at no charge. You have a full kitchen including a full size fridge and stove, and space to store food items. Guest AccessWe provide free wifi, street parking, and shared entrance and laundry facilities. There is a TV with VCR, and standard channels. Interaction with GuestsWe love to visit with our guests and would love to get to know you a little as you come in and out of the house. Feel free to come up and visit anytime, or ask for anything you might need. However, we will respect your privacy when you are in your suite and will not enter it when you are away under normal circumstances. The NeighborhoodWe are located on a side street in an established and quiet neighborhood. Kids can play in the backyard. You can walk down to the river or easily access a bike path. Getting AroundSteps to public transit and all that Calgary has to offer; there is a bus stop just at the top of the street, about 10 minute ride to the C-train. From the train the whole city is at your fingertips, it's a short ride to the Stampede Grounds. Street parking available. Walking distance to the river pathway. The SpaceLGBTQ Friendly home! This is a positive vibe home meant for good energy and great people! Absolutely everything in our home is yours while you are here and you should integrate yourself or keep to yourself as much as your feel comfortable. Hang out in the living room, deck or your room. It's all common space. Apartment has all kitchen amenities, washer and dryer, tv and Apple TV, Netflix, fireplace and a lovely patio for sunny afternoon chill time. Your room is suited up funky and comfortable with a very comfortable day bed, art, big closet and dresser. We recently did a complete redo on this room and it's our favourite place in our house. You can't step in here and not feel a little more relaxed. A great little space to come home to after a long day of work or a day in the mountains. Our bliss room was inspired by some of the things we love most (mountains, adventure travel, and vw vans!) and a general desire to create intentional spaces that make people happy! We are very open and open-minded, and love to share the space as long as it is respected. That means leaving rooms how you found them and cleaning up after yourself in common areas! If you are in Calgary to party, this is probably not the place for you. We are busy professionals and have very full schedules so we hope to attract the same. It doesn't take much longer than driving and has very few stops. We always get off at the Calgary Tower. The 300 bus costs $9.50 per person and you can catch a cab easily from Calgary Tower (9 ave & Centre St) to our place and the cab would be about $10. Depending on your energy and how much luggage you have, you could even walk to our place from there south up 1 Street SW (1 block west of the busstop) and it would take you about 30 minutes. Do you have gps? 3. Or, if we're available, (may not know until the day before) we can come get you from the airport for $50 as long as you keep us updated about whether the flight is landing on time. Safe, close-in, yet peaceful and quiet. We live across the street from the actual "Elbow Park" which has a hill, clay tennis courts, and hockey and skating rinks in the winter. Close to Talisman Centre, Stampede grounds, Glencoe Club, Chinook Centre shopping, transportation, and the list goes on. Some good places for steak are Vintage Chophouse, Saltlik, Redwater Grille, Cactus Club, Murietta's, and Open Range. Calgary attractions: - Calgary is the perfect base for four southern Alberta World heritage UNESCO sites. - Model Milk was voted one of the top 10 restaurants in the world and is located a few blocks away on 17th Ave., Southwest - Calgary's Monogram coffee employs the third best barrista (awarded in June 2016) in the world, Ben Pot. - Go for a short and beautiful road trip to Cochrane (NW of Calgary) and be sure to get an ice cream cone at MacKays Ice Cream shop on Main Street. - Calgary is well known for its wide variety of craft beers. Getting Around#3 Bus stop is 3 blocks away (5 minute walk) and C-train to about a 30 minute walk. We keep bus schedules for different routes in the bedroom for your convenience. Lots of amenities are within 15 minutes walking distance, 5-10 min biking distance, and car parking is free right across the street where there are no houses. Like I said, this is a sweet, desirable location! There is a beautiful walking path around Elbow River that takes 40 minutes from our house. AIRPORT transportation: Airport to here info 1. Taking a taxi is easy and fast and costs about $50-60.2. You could also take the Calgary transit route 300 bus directly from the airport to downtown. Ask someone at the airport where to catch it. It doesn't take much longer than driving and has very few stops. We always get off at the Calgary Tower. The 300 bus costs $9.50 per person and you can catch a cab easily from Calgary Tower (9 ave & Centre St) to our place and the cab would be about $10. Depending on your energy and how much luggage you have, you could even walk to our place from there south up 1 Street SW (1 block west of the busstop) and it would take you about 30 minutes. Do you have gps? 3. Or, if we're available, (may not know until the day before) we can come get you from the airport for $50 as long as you keep us updated about whether the flight is landing on time. The original portion of the house was built in 1928 and was a farmhouse that lay between what was then Calgary and the town of Bowness; Bowness is now a community within Calgary and the house is surrounded by a bustling city. The house has been lived in and added on to making it a unique blend of the old and new. In the winter there are lots of cosy spaces to warm up in. In the summer there is an amazing perennial flower garden to enjoy outside. Our space comfortably fits one person or a couple. If the couple has a young child the room will also accommodate. Aside from the private room and private bathroom, guests will have shared access to the main level of the house including the kitchen and dining area, the living room and entertainment room. The outside space is also shared. There is a private driveway reserved for guests in the front of the house. Off limit spaces include the upper level, basement and garage. There is a coffee maker available and for those that are familiar with espresso makers we have one of those too. There is always fair-trade coffee in the house. We live normal lives and will come and go during your stay. Our hope is to be around to give you a tour of the home when you arrive and be available if you have any questions during your stay. The SpaceThis newly renovated modern home includes 2 bedrooms with queen-sized beds, a spacious living room, kitchen and large backyard. The SpaceJust far enough from downtown to be quiet is a beautiful main floor of a home with a private, full garden back yard. This home is tastefully decorated and well maintained with exposed brick and travertine / hardwood flooring. An organic feel, 1 bedroom and french doors that open to a large back yard. In suite washer and dryer, full kitchen. You may choose, however, to walk 4 short blocks to world competing Phil and Sebastian coffee or local shopping. You may choose to walk 4 blocks in the other direction to Sandy Beach and Riverpark. If you want to stick close to home, just turn the corner to see neighbourhood tennis courts and a community pool. Downtown is a short bus ride from the end of your block (the number 7) and if you walk it will be approx. 30 minutes. Please respect that this entire property is strictly no smoking and unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate pets at this time. ***Depending on your request date I may be present during your stay in which case the space will be private room, shared space. The NeighborhoodWe live in the SW part of the city in the aptly named Lakeview. Right on the reservoir and the Elbow River we are a 10 minute walk from the Weaselhead Nature reserve and the Grey Eagle Casino and only a 10 minute drive from downtown Calgary. People who visit with us are shocked by how close to downtown Calgary we are with hiking and cross country skiing trails and canoeing only minutes away. You get the best of both worlds. You are welcome to take out our canoe or borrow our x-country skiis for the afternoon and we provide a commuter bike free of charge. Getting AroundWe have a bus stop right at our door and Calgary provides an impressive smart car sharing program that we have found to be user friendly and affordable. Because we are still technically in the inner city, cab fare is quite reasonable as well. We are a quick drive out of the city and into the mountains and minutes away from some pretty fantastic restaurants, nightlife and shopping. Other Things to NoteWe have a lovely golden doodle named Darwin. He is friendly, hypoallergenic and on the larger end. He weighs 70 lbs. He will get excited when he meets you or may bark when the mailman comes around, but otherwise, he keeps to himself. Your private suite is on the basement level. We have a beautiful little girl who is now 6 months old. She sleeps through the night and is a very happy baby. Her room is the farthest from yours and we have not had any complaints about noise.

Inspired by some fab hotels I've stayed in, I wanted to give our guests all the creature comforts you'll expect in a home (where's that coffee machine, toaster & egg skillet in the morning) with the perks you also expect from a really nice hotel (toiletries, stocked fridge, TV, unlimited 25mbps High-Speed Internet, and free parking! We took loads of pride and joy to create this space just for AirBNB and we hope that you'll have the most fabulous and relaxed time with us in Calgary! Guest AccessOur fridge is stocked with drinks, and there are a variety of snacks in the cupboards for your enjoyment. But, unlike most hotels, there is NO CHARGE for any of the food/drinks you consume. All we ask is that you place a donation (there is box just above the toaster) to our selected charity, the "Calgary Dream Centre" for the cost of the food/drinks consumed & 100% of the profits will go there! There is a full laundry area, for our staff to do linens and for our cleaning tools. If you have loads of laundry to do, you can also do your own. Same deal as our food, whatever laundry products you use, we ask for a donation to the charity. If you'll like laundry done for you, speak to us before you arrive and we can arrange our staff to handle your laundry as well for a nominal charge. Crescent Heights has always been one of the best neighbourhoods; its proximity to Bridgeland's restaurants, the 10min walk to downtown, the old & mature treeline of the neighbourhood & large parks can't be beat. Getting AroundLocated just 2 mins from Centre Steet & literally 15 secs to Edmonton Trail, you have all your public transportation needs at your fingertips. The local Smartcar, "Car2Go" has plenty of little rental cars scattered around the neighbourhood too! Other Things to NoteIf you have a vehicle, you can park at the back on the parking pad next to our garage. There is also plenty of free parking in front of our house. Easy access to major roads, 10-15 minutes from downtown when there's no heavy traffic, which is not bad considering that Calgary's surface is comparable to the land surface of New York City. Other Things to NoteCommon sense. Please use your common sense and if unsure ask first....Like before you decide to rearrange the furniture. Or decorate the place to fit with the season or YOUR religious holiday.... And if not sure, please ask. Although we always mentioned this in the description, a couple of previous guests seemed to think that 15 minutes drive or half an hour by transit is a little too far from downtown. Please get informed about the place you intend to visit, you're not visiting a village in the sticks; surface wise, Calgary is the 3rd largest city in Canada and the largest in Alberta, and definitely a driving city, although Calgary Transit is excellent and the bus stop is less than 1 minute walk away. FYI, Calgary's LAND surface(729 sq km) exceeds the land area of Toronto(630 sq km) and is comparable to the LAND surface of New York City(789 sq km). So, 15 minutes drive or 30 minutes by transit is not a far commute for any major city in the world, but if you need to be any closer to downtown please book a different place that IS LOCATED DOWNTOWN.

    The SpaceCome stay in our fully furnished 2 bedroom basement suite that is located in the sought after neighbourhood of Inglewood. Bright, clean and only minutes from downtown! Suite includes private entrance, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms - one with a double bed, the other with a single bed. Large windows allow lots of natural light throughout the suite. You will be provided with bedding, towels and a fully equipped kitchen including a full sized fridge and stove, basic condiments and spices, microwave, blender, coffee maker and coffee, kettle, utensils and pots and pans for cooking. If there is anything you find is missing, please ask, as we likely have it upstairs and would be happy to lend anything out! There is free hi-speed wifi and a TV with free cable provided, as well we have left you our collection of DVD's for the days you feel like staying in and watching some movie's. If you enjoy reading please ask to borrow a book from our large book collection upstairs! The laundry area is shared and detergent if provided. The large backyard with deck and bbq are also shared so make yourselves at home on the deck in the summer, and help yourself to the bbq year round. If you drive, there are parking spaces available beside the garage to the back of the house, or street parking at the front of the house is also available. If not, we are only a couple minutes (walking) from the closest bus stop that takes you directly downtown. Please bring adequate warm clothing for your stay such as sweaters, slippers etc. Basement suites by nature are cooler than a main floor of a house or apartment. We have adjusted our furnace so that it heats up the basement first before sending hot air upstairs, so that the basement will always be warm enough for you. However if you are used to living in a house in the winter where it is plus 25 and you can wear shorts and a tshirt, that unfortunately will not happen here. Today, Inglewood is a vibrant, eclectic and ever-evolving arts and culture-filled district with more than 100 shops, boutiques and eateries attracting locals and tourists alike. It has been referred to as Calgary's hub of local music thanks to venues like the Ironwood Stage and Grill, and Blues Can Inglewood is also home to Sunfest, a one-day affair that attracts more than 30,000 people to the community for activities such as outdoor shopping, live musical performances and a country-themed celebrity pie-eating competition. Since Inglewood is in an environmentally sensitive area at the confluence of the Elbow and the Bow rivers, it is also home to several nature preserves. These include the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary, the Bow Habitat Station, Inglewood Wildlands Park, and the Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery. Other Things to NotePots, pans, plates, cups, and cutlery are all provided for you to cook and eat with, however there is not enough room in the basement suite for a kitchen table, so you would have to eat on your lap in the living room. If you are not from Calgary and are unfamiliar with our winters, please note it can get quite cold here! Please bring adequate warm clothing for your stay such as sweaters, slippers etc. Basement suites by nature are cooler than a main floor of a house or apartment. We have adjusted our furnace so that it heats up the basement first before sending hot air upstairs, so that the basement will always be warm enough for you. However if you are used to living in a house in the winter where it is plus 25 and you can wear shorts and a tshirt, that unfortunately will not happen here. Please dress appropriately :)

This apartment is located on a quiet street, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. One parking space is provided if needed with an outlet for the winter, and there is ample street parking out front. Public transit is nearby, and you are central enough to get around the city very easily.
