The SpaceLarge quiet house, decorated tastefully, large garden with patio. Double room on the third floor fully equipped with desk and wifi . refurbished in 2015 communal areas - living room/dining room/bathroom/downstairs toilet/garden. We live in the house my daughter and our family cat . I work from home 3 days close to city centre but feels like you are in the country.. a quiet leafy area of south manchester. city centre and airport are both easily accessible ( bus 30 mins - 10 minute walk to the bus stop, buses every 5 minutes or less) or train is one stop away either direction ( mauldeth road train station is a 10 minute walk from the house). Area is cosmopolitan - young people and professionals plus families. lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance including local pub - the red lion pub 10 minute walk away, shopping/post office /bank in withington village ( 10 minute walk away) we have a friendly black and white cat Guests staying for 1 week plus to keep their room clean ( dust / Hoover / tidy / change sheets every week and throw rubbish in appropriate recycling or rubbish bins outside) As the top two rooms are just recently refurbished I do not allow drinks other than water to be taken upstairs to avoid spillages / stains on carpets, bed or furnishings . If staying longer than 3 days and guests want to use the kitchen to prepare meals we would agree slots in the kitchen . Also we would agree bathroom slots for morning showers . Guests to provide their own laundry detergent and to use machine to wash a full load ( not overfull ) and to plan laundry to hang it out on dry days in the summer ( May to October ) Please note there is no bathroom on the third floor - the family bathroom is one floor below this room ! Walk all the way to the end of this road then turn right onto Parrswood road. Keep on walking till you get to Horwood Crescent which will be on your left. It is number 17. Please specify when booking what time window you will be arriving so that somebody can be available to give you access to our home. The SpaceOur apartment is on Burton Road in West Didsbury surrounded by cafes, delis, bars, wonderful restaurants, parks, walks and more!We are situated on the first floor above a little shop and it is very quiet with only two other flats in the building (all professionals). I love to cook and so there is a well equipped kitchen plus a lovely dining table. There is a very big lounge with lots of lovely comfy seating+sofa and a BIG window to sit and have your morning coffee by (great for people watching!) TV has SKY (plus all sports), there is full internet and wifi and gas central heating. There are lots of lovely features in the flat including stripped floors, original fire places and an old record player and collection which you are free to use! The NeighborhoodThis is THE most exciting spot to be in the suburbs of Manchester. You can lose yourself in the endless independent shops and boutiques, pick up dinner at the local deli, book for dinner at the amazing 'The Rose Garden' (across the road from the apartment) or try out the many cafes and bars -all quirky and focusing on fresh, local food and drink. Getting AroundA wealth of transport serves the road. Buses are every ten minutes into Manchester Centre, Stockport, Didsbury Village and more. The new metrolink that runs from the end of Burton Road will have you in MCR Centre in 10-15 minute. Lots of local taxis too. Other Things to NoteAs we are on Burton Road, Friday and Saturday evenings can come with the occasional noise. Never a problem though.

The SpaceI live with my husband and 24 year old son. We have a spacious house with 4 bedrooms. We are offering our spare bedroom which has 3/4 size bed than can be folded into a sofa for extra space. The room is bright and clean with lots of drawer space and a big desk. The house has free WiFi. Guests should expect their own private room and a welcoming family atmosphere. The neighbour hood is very safe and close to the city centre with good transport links, with buses and trains very close by. There are shops, restaurants and bars all in close proximity and the University of Manchester itself is very close. We are easy to reach from most of Manchester including the airport. We ensure that your stay will be comfortable and relaxing and welcome your arrival. As this is a family home we do ask that only members with photos and a brief description about themselves contact us.

The SpaceHi, my name is Joanne. I live in a really peaceful block of flats in Didsbury (on the ground floor), a walk away from Didsbury Village and West Didsbury where you will find a huge range of independent restaurants, bars, shops, cafes and pubs. I am also very close to the city centre where you will have access to art galleries (Manchester Art Gallery, The Lowry to name just a few), theatres, clubs and all the activities the city centre can offer you. Chorlton is also near by. Didsbury is a in the suburbs, far enough from the city centre, with lots of parks and green spaces around but close enough to get around and see the sights. Your room has a comfy double bed, and is nice and quite (a rest bite after a days trekking around the city). With a built in wardrobe, and shelving there is plenty of space to pack away your clothes and store your belongings. You will have access to the the living room where you are welcome to watch a bit of TV if you wish or just chill out. I also provide towels so you don't need to bring them along. The kitchen has a washing machine should you need it plus all the things you would need to cook dinner or make yourself lunch if you prefer to buy food from the many supermarkets in the area. There is a really nice Deli around the corner that does the most amazing samosas! And did i mention there is a cheese hamlet in Didsbury village! The whole flat has central heating so no worries about being cold. And of course WIFI access. My flat is just off Wilmslow Road, a road where you will find buses that take you straight into the city centre (42, 142) and with no traffic can take 20 minutes. A new tram stop has just been built in Didsbury which can take you straight to Salford Quays (the home of the new BBC), Trafford Park (home of Man United) and also straight into the city centre. Pretty much transport here can take you anywhere! You can also get the train straight from Manchester Airport or Manchester Piccadilly to a station near me called Didsbury station - then you can get the bus or its a 20 minute walk. I have lived here for 10 years so am happy to recommend nice places to eat/drink/visit! If you do have any questions please contact me and i'll happily answer them. Didsbury is a leafy, affluent suburb very popular with families and anybody that enjoys a village feel yet likes to have access to everything a big city has to offer. The high street, a 5 min stroll from the house, offers more then 15 different eateries including Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Argentinian, Modern British Restaurants as well as a number of traditional pubs, bars, cafes (independent and chains). There are a number of supermarkets on the high street. Getting AroundDidsbury Village tram station is less then a 5 min walk away with easy access to the city centre. Trams run every 12 min and will get you directly into the city centre with an estimated journey time of 20 min. Old Trafford can also easily be reached by tram so can parts of South Manchester including Altrincham. There is a direct bus taking guests to The Trafford Centre. The airport is a 15 min taxi ride away, the cost of a taxi is between £12-£15. depending on what company you use. There is also a direct train taking you to and from the airport. The SpaceThe Pad has been designed (by us!) with luxury, comfort and elegant touches for the overnight guest or guests (2 max). With a palette of greys and pops of colour, the room is warm and welcoming as well as super stylish. The bed is wonderfully comfy, the furnishings unique and bespoke, and the kitchen well equipped for an overnight stay or longer. The images reflect the high standards of the accommodation, which also benefits from a beautiful garden area downstairs. Lots of drawer and clothes hanging has been included, surface areas for your bits and bobs, plus there is a freeview TV and wireless internet. And the most gorgeous rocking chair this side of heaven ;) Guest AccessTea and coffee making facilities are available, as well as a fridge and microwave, sink and cupboard space for longer stays. No amenities are shared, this is a private self contained studio apartment. There is a caretaker on site and food / refreshments can be arranged on arrival. Strictly no smoking / pets. Free off road car parking available, plus free on street parking available. Interaction with GuestsWe can welcome guests between 2pm and 7pm, outside these times by request. Bags can be stored if needed before this time and if the Pad is free the night before the booking, access is possible before 2pm. Later access than 7pm is available via the on site caretaker for the building, with prior notice, up to 11pm. The NeighborhoodWest Didsbury is an amazing, indie trader filled suburb of South Manchester with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants to enjoy, plus we know most of the owners so can arrange meals etc for you if help is required. We offer 10% discounts at Thyme Out (breakfasts to die for 5min walk away) and at Taste Of Honey (stunning cheeses, meats and platters). You could come for a weekend in West Didsbury and not have to leave, it's that great but Manchester is only a short bus / tram ride away. (URL HIDDEN) Getting AroundThe Pad is literally two minutes walk from the Burton Road Manchester Metro tram stop, plus on a very handy bus route. The SpaceThe unique and spacious apartment is perfectly sized for a family/group of 4 with 2 double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a private garden. There is plenty of space to cook and/ or relax in the open plan kitchen / lounge area, with home touches to make your stay feel like a home-from-home. Parking is available in front of the house along the road. Interaction with GuestsYou will be able to contact us at any time before or during your stay. The NeighborhoodOur apartment is located in a little suburb of South Manchester called West Didsbury. It is a bustling, friendly and safe area, full of quaint and original shops to lose an entire day in and upmarket bars you will want to stay in all night. There are plenty of cafes, parks and restaurants within a 5 minute walk, with even more to choose from in the surrounding areas such as Chorlton, Altrincham and Hale. The apartment is also conveniently located close to the Didsbury tram metro link making Manchester city centre and/or Manchester airport easy to reach. Getting AroundWe are closely situated between bus stops and tram stops with easy access into Manchester city centre. We're also a 5 minute drive away from the motorway, making it easy to escape to the countryside or catch a plane. Other Things to NoteWhen we don’t have guest we do live in this apartment- therefore our things will still be there, however we do ensure there is plenty of space. We have a kitten called Stanley who we book into a cattery when we have guests. However if you are cat friendly and don’t mind him keeping you company please let us know.

The SpaceWe have three rooms that are listed on Airbnb. Two are large en-suite rooms and there is a smaller room, which is not en-suite but which has an attractive adjacent bathroom. The other rooms are listed under "Large Room good access city centre" and "Comfortable en-suite room, Didsbury". The room you are viewing is our smallest room. It is equipped with a small wardrobe and has a UK standard sized double bed and a small table. The bathroom that goes with this room is large and modern and has a bath with a shower over. A buffet style breakfast is included consisting of home made breads, cereals, fruit and yoghurt. Getting AroundThe house is well located for Manchester Airport, which can be reached by train, Metrolink or bus, and for the universities. Parking is on-street but safe and there is plenty of space. The main buses into the city centre are the 43, 41 and 143. The journey takes about 40 minutes, less at the weekends.

The SpaceWe would love to to welcome you to our home! We live in a great apartment in Didsbury Village, on the first floor of a building formerly known as the 'Clock Tower'. Apart from the guest bedroom (equipped with an ensuite bathroom), there is also a huge open plan living space for you to enjoy. The apartment is usually flooded with light due to the 8 large bay windows in the main room, overlooking the village. Guest AccessYour bedroom is at the other end of the flat, and is completely soundproof, should you wish to retreat. Along with an newly renovated ensuite, there is a comfy double bed, and underfloor heating to keep you toast warm in the winter. There is also an additional mattress for you to use, should you wish to stay in separate beds. We also have wireless fibre-optic internet, free for you to use. Interaction with GuestsWe are both musicians, so there is generally music of some description playing - the living room is equipped with some pretty great speakers, as well as a plethora of books, and two vintage red chesterfield couches on which to enjoy them. When we are not playing music, chances are someone is probably cooking - we like to eat well, and you are welcome to join us for any meals that we get happening. Breakfast is included every day, and usually consists of sourdough toast, eggs, muesli with fruit and yoghurt, fresh baked goods, or porridge. Please let us know if you have any specific requests, or a preference for a particular type of milk - we will always do our best to accommodate these requests. The NeighborhoodWe are super close to a number of great galleries, bars, restaurants, and museums, including the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester Art Gallery, and Manchester Museum. In addition to this, we have loads of personal recommendations, so ask away and we will do our best to help you out! Soph and I are both freelance musicians, working with the BBC Phil, Hallé, and Royal Liverpool Phil amongst others, so we also have a pretty good handle on the music scene. Getting AroundWe are about 20 minutes out of the CBD, which means that the area is quiet, but close enough to commute easily should you want to see the sights. The 142 and 42 buses into town stop directly outside the apartment, so transport is a cinch. Didsbury Village Tram stop is just over the road, so that also opens up a gamut of travel options. We also have buses nearby that take you straight to the Trafford Centre, should you be in the mood for a monster shopping trip! Finally, there is a cab company just down the road that will take you to Manchester Airport for £12, and pick you up whenever is convenient. The trip takes about 15 mins. The SpaceI live in a luxury open-plan apartment on the second floor of a building formerly known as the 'Clock Tower'. The apartment is made up of two bedrooms (both with ensuites), and a large living space/kitchen - the apartment is usually flooded with light due to the 8 large bay windows in the main room, overlooking the rooftops and out to the hills. The location is the thing. Right on Didsbury Village High Street, full of cafes and bars. A particular favourite pub is the Dog and Partridge across the road, and the Deli cafe is a fantastic place for lunches and all-day breakfasts 2 minutes down the road. We can cook together if I'm around, but the high street does tend to tempt you out ... Your room is ensuite with a large single (1.2) bed, table with 2 drawers, and with underfloor heating, and you have full use of the living room/kitchen of course. This is furnished with vintage 50s G-Plan sideboard, table and easy chair, and a modern comfy chaise longue. Broadband is easy to connect and the music system is via Sonos. I am a freelance marketing consultant sometimes called to far flung places, so prefer to have a minimum stay of 3 nights because this is easier to manage for me right now! Then you have Aldi, Tesco, M&S and Co-op on top of those. And if you're not eating in, same walking distance there are around 10 different places to eat out. Getting AroundThe East Didsbury tram line is a 2 minute walk (Didsbury Village). Several buses go past the door. East Didsbury train station (10 mins to Piccadilly) is a 15 minute walk. Manchester Airport is a 10 minute taxi ride, about £12. Parking is in local side streets.

Getting AroundThis super apartment is situated in South Manchester on the border of East Didsbury and has a fantastic location for public transport. Across the road is East Didsbury Metrolink station where you can take a comfortable tram in to the city centre and beyond. Manchester City Centre is 6 miles away and you can also get there in about 15 minutes from nearby East Didsbury train station which is a 5 minute walk away. Just a 400m walk away is Parrs Wood cinema and entertainment complex with several family-style restaurants as well as Parrs Wood bus terminus. Stockport is 3 miles from the apartment. Didsbury village, a mile away, is a very lively, cosmopolitan area of South Manchester. There are countless restaurants, pubs and coffee shops as well as some great speciality food shops, an M&S food store and all local amenities. The apartment is ideally situated for the Christie Hospital which is less than 2 miles away. Manchester Airport is accessible in 15 minutes by car or train. The Trafford Centre shopping experience is just down the M60 motorway and can be reached in under 15 minutes. Further afield, the beautiful Peak District is just a short drive of under an hour, whilst the fabulous Lake District is a little further but still less than 2 hours drive.

The SpaceThe house is perfectly sized for a family/group of 4 with 2 double bedrooms. Happy to take an extra guest by making use of our comfortable sofa. There is plenty of space to cook and/ or relax in the open plan kitchen / lounge area downstairs, with home comforts and touches to make your stay feel like a home-from-home. Towels and bedding are provided so no need to worry about bringing your own. We have all the usual kitchen amenities included and available to use: double oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, smoothie maker etc, and a nespresso coffee machine (which we love!). House also includes good wifi, Freeview TV (in living room and master bedroom) with Netflix access, DVD player and Wii console (great for children). We want our guests to be able to truly make theirselves at home, and welcome feedback if anything is missing or could be improved. Guest AccessYou will have the entire house to yourselves including the garden and patio area. This includes use of BBQ for the summer months - we can arrange if asked in advance. Parking is available in front of the house at no cost and can accommodate multiple vehicles. It is also conveniently located to reach Manchester city centre, with 2 tram stops only a short walk away and quick tram journey to town. The tram line is also well connected to Old Trafford - a popular destination for Man Utd fans! For fitness fans: a new leisure centre has just recently been built nearby which includes large swimming pool, health suite, gym and classes - all of which can be booked pay as you go. Also for keen cyclists, we are lucky to have Transpenine Cycle Network and River Mersey on our doorstep, with many routes to choose from and explore. Getting AroundWe are closely situated between 2 tram stops with easy access into Manchester city centre. We're also 5 minute drive away from the motorway, making it easy to escape to the countryside and Greater Manchester area. And less than 10 minute drive to Manchester airport.     The SpaceWe have spent the last 9 months renovating our Victorian house which has been a really fun project - we are happy with the result and want to share it with others! The house has a lot of character and is very warm. We also have a 1 1/2 year old Spaniel called Dexter who is very friendly and loves people and attention in case you would like to give him any! Your bedroom is a large, newly decorated double, bright and airy with high ceilings and bay windows. The morning sun streams through the windows. have your own brand new deluxe bathroom with bath and rainforest shower. You also will have exclusive use of a beautiful characterful living room complete with wood burner and cable tv. Guest AccessYou will also have free access to our modern kitchen diner including dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, dryer, wine fridge and we even have a nutribullet if you enjoy juicing! We just ask that you keep the kitchen clean and clear up after yourself. We are vegetarian so please make sure in particular that if you eat meat you cover it properly and wash up after yourself. We will be away during this period and you will be sharing the house with our dog and our friendly, clean 26 year old Italian au pair. Your room and bath are very private as they are on the first floor and hers is in the basement. We love meeting new people and have lots of info about the local area if you need it, but will, of course, respect your privacy and your needs. The NeighborhoodWhen we moved to Manchester from London we chose West Didsbury as we think it is by far the best place to live. It is a buzzing, friendly area. It has lots of green spaces and Victorian houses, and Burton road is full of independent shops, restaurants and bars. Getting to central Manchester is easy so it has the best of both worlds! We are more than happy to give you restaurant, bar and shopping recommendations. Getting AroundWe are 7 minutes walk from Burton Road tram stop, which takes you into central Manchester in 15-20 minutes. There are also numerous buses at the end of our road which go to central Manchester, Wythenshawe, the Trafford Centre, Stockport and more. We are very close to the M60 and M56 motorways (though not so close that you can hear them :-)) and Manchester airport is a 15 minute drive away. A cab from the airport costs less than £20. This unique architect designed property has been fitted out to a very high standard in both materials & furnishings, all the spaces are luxurious & relaxing. The building is very highly insulated with thermostatically controlled underfloor heating on the ground floor & the heating / hot water is ecologically produced from an air source heat pump. The property also has two designated off road parking spaces. Everything in the house is there for your enjoyment. Included in the tariff is free wifi, 'youview' tv, with tv & dvd players (in both the living space & master bedroom), i-pod dock, fully fitted kitchen with all neff appliances & washing machine. The cottage is child friendly with lots of board games, a travel cot, high chair & stair gate which can be fitted on request. The property is a whole house let, so guests will be left in peace unless they require any additional local information, advice or help etc. We live close by, so any problems that may arise can be swiftly dealt with. We do want our guests to feel very much at home from the moment they arrive so we make sure you have all the basic provisions such as tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil and the like at no extra charge. We've splendid parks in Fletcher Moss and Marie Louise gardens. On the last Sunday of the month we hold a Makers Market on Burton Rd with live music, street food and craft stalls all day. All within five or ten minutes walk. The apartment itself however is on a really nice, quiet and leafy street tucked away behind Didsbury village. Getting AroundTrams to Manchester every 12 minutes.     The Space*Please message me for good weekly rates, if you are a business or family needing to visit the area, week nights can be offered at a lower rate for two or more days.* The Cube is the perfect balance of modern and comfort. With its sociable open plan kitchen and lounge to its second floor master bedroom with large balcony en suite, dressing room and king size bed, it has a lot to offer. Most of the rooms have large flat screen tvs, sky television and fast wifi. Ground floor: The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make cooking easy and enjoyable. The high gloss kitchen table even extends to give you more room for entertaining. The double doors open out onto an urban garden with designer cube furniture, tall trees and plants. The lounge is an enjoyable room to relax in and entertain with underfloor heating below a solid oak floor-perfect for winter evenings with the candles lit. There is a spacious bathroom on the ground floor. First Floor: There are two bedrooms on this floor one double room and a cinema room come bedroom, this room can sleep two people comfortably as the bed is nearly the size of the room with big sumptuous cushions that make a back rest and then give the appearance of a large sofa, if you fancy watching a movie or playing Xbox games on a three metre screen then you are in for a treat! There is a large bathroom with designer built in bath/shower with heated towel rails. The bedroom is filled with modern art and a comfortable double bed that has always had rave reviews for comfort! The cinema room come bedroom has a vast choice of movies from sky powered by an xbox meaning you can play your favourite video games on an extra large screen- movie nights will never be the same again! The way that this room is designed is that all the furniture comes together to make one huge bed, so if there are children or adults that dont mind sharing it is a perfect way of utilising the space. Full cotton bedding is also provided should you wish to use this space, the bed can be made up in advance. Second Floor: The master suite boasts a dressing room, an ensuite with large designer walk in shower and a south facing balcony with black out curtains. The king size bed with oversized chesterfield leather headboard and surround was custom made for the room giving maximum impact and comfort. All rooms have blackout curtains or blinds and super high quality linen. Both the first and second floor are carpeted for bare foot comfort. Outside there is off road parking for three cars, a very rare find in West Didsbury. The Cube is detached and is the end house of a cul de sac making noise levels a minimum. The NeighborhoodWest Didsbury is one of the most sought after Manchester locations to live in. With over ten top restaurants and cafes, including Sunday Brunch, Celebrity Chef Simon Rimmer's Vegetarian restaurant, Greens, The Lime Tree, a multi award winning restaurant in the top ten of Manchester restaurants, Picolinos and The Rose Garden to name a few. There are also some beautiful furniture, jewellery,gift shops, designer clothing and vintage clothing stores lining the streets of Burton Road and Lapwing Lane that are all a stones through away from The Cube. Burton Road boasts five vibrant late night bars all individual, with special ales and cocktails to choose from. Plus the infamous Metropolitan Pub is less than a 20 second walk away. If this isnt enough to entertain you there is a metro line that can take you to Didsbury Village (East Didsbury) for shops bars and cafes that are similar to West Didsbury. The Burton Road stop and the West Didsbury stop are both 20 metres either side of The Cube. It is also a £10, 10 minute, taxi ride into the city centre, or again The Metro can take you there in 20 minutes. Manchester Airport is less than 10 minutes away in clear traffic. Manchester United is only 15 minutes away as is Manchester City. The Trafford Centre is a short 15 minute where you will find all kinds of stores all with free parking. Liverpool is 25 miles.               A unique architect designed & newly built boutique self-catering mews cottage located on a private road in the Conservation Area of the fashionable & vibrant Manchester suburb of West Didsbury. The cottage is close to some of Manchester's top restaurants, an eclectic mix of bars, wonderful independent shops & is also convenient for the motorway network, airport & just a short drive or tram trip into the city centre. The cottage has a large open plan living space with vaulted ceiling & fully fitted kitchen with all neff appliances, two bedrooms - one has a king size double bed & the other two single beds, it also has a bathroom, wc & two designated off road parking spaces. The cottage has been fitted out to a very high standard in both materials & furnishings, all the spaces are luxurious & relaxing. The building is very highly insulated with thermostatically controlled underfloor heating on the ground floor & the heating / hot water is ecologically produced from an air source heat pump. We do want our guests to feel very much at home from the moment they arrive so we make sure you have all the basic provisions such as tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil and the like at no extra charge. Toiletries from The Bath House are also provided. For a small extra charge, we can also arrange for food & wine to be in the fridge for your arrival. The standard tariff is based on a rate of £150 per night inclusive. Bookings can be made for 3, 4 or 7 nights. The minimum stay of three nights runs from Friday to Monday and the four night stay is mid-week from Monday to Friday. A seven night stay can commence on Friday or Monday and is priced at £950.00. Bookings in excess of seven nights are inclusive of a weekly clean and linen change. We welcome children of all ages but unfortunately not dogs. We have equipped the property to a high standard so we do also require a refundable breakage deposit of £500.00 but this will be repaid in full through Holiday Lettings within 10 working days of departure assuming no damages or breakages have occurred during the stay. The house is non-smoking & since it is located down a private road we ask you to respect the neighbours. West Didsbury is a very vibrant & exciting area with a real sense of community & a destination in it's own right. The river Mersey & water parks are only a short walk away & you can go walk / run / cycle along the banks or even take a canoe trip which is a great way to see the wildlife!
