Family of five, we have three young children that live with us upstairs in our two storey home on the southside of the city (three boys ages 12, 9, and 6. New home, fully developed and furnished basement where the guest would stay, we will accept smokers however only smoking in the garage. Our home is 2 minutes away from a bus terminal and many stores close by to shop for clothes/groceries or do schoolwork in a coffee shop if desired. We would love to offer a student looking for a good place to live while they complete their studies. Our boys are responsible, friendly, and do chores daily, our home is kept clean and tidy. Perfect environment for a student, internet, TV, and meals provided, along with whatever else we can accommodate for the student guest we would be willing to do.

We live in a 25 year old home with rustic lime stone pillars. There are 2 large bedrooms for guests, 1 1/2 bathrooms, laundry facilities on the main floor, cathedral ceiling, a spacious open floor plan with living room, kitchen, dining and family room. The kitchen opens to a patio that is perfect for barbecues in the summer and the hot tub in the winter. We have 3 young adult children. Our daughters, Alexis and Mackenzie, are newly married and our son, Chris, is working in Saskatchewan. I love baking and cooking so you can enjoy some tasty treats from time to time! Our children are grown and we have no pets but plenty of hospitality to share with you!

The SpaceA three bedroom condo which is on a bus route that takes you to both bus stations in Sherwood Park. My place is off the main road and quiet. It backs onto a church yard and a local park with two large lakes which are nice to walk around. Guest AccessGuest will have access to my entire unit except for the master bedroom. Half of the fridge and a portion of the pantry will be made available to guest. Interaction with GuestsI am willing to interact with guest as much as they would like. I have hung out with guest in the past and also allowed them to have quiet time in their room. The NeighborhoodA quiet neighborhood which is considered to be in downtown Sherwood Park. You can have a nice walk in the park beside my place or walk over to the mall to get groceries or work out at the Glen Allen Rec Centre. Getting AroundI am 200 meters from a bus stop. The bus stop is at the entrance of the condo complex. The bus will take you to both main transit stations in Sherwood Park. From there, you have easy access to Edmonton. A bright and open kitchen, living and dining area offer continuous flow and ease for entertaining. The cozy wood burning fireplace perfectly sets the mood for either romance or family smore night. The living room has 2 chaise sofas and one of them is a sofa bed. There is Telus satellite t.v., dvd player and xbox. We have an enormous dvd and game library. The kitchen is a chefs dream with a dual convection oven, and 12' by 3' of countertop, with 3 stools around. Of course we keep the spice rack full and coffee and tea stocked. Beautiful understated finishes of brick, travertine, butcher block countertops, and hardwood floors welcomes everyone while maintaining the country vibe. The master bedroom offers 2 QUEEN sized beds, dresser, walk-in closet, and ensuite with large soaker tub and dual shower. The second room has 2 DOUBLE beds and the third room has a QUEEN bed and wardrobe. The property is on 3.3 acres featuring a large playground, 2 acres of meadows (great for quading, paint-balling, bon fires, etc.) and and acre of forest with paths throughout. This add is for the main floor of the home and my family lives in the basement suite. Honestly you might not even see us, as our 3 kids keep us very busy. Its nice that we live here to take care of things like snow removal, landscaping and fresh meal if you like. $175/night, $990/week, $3400/month

It boasts comfy reading chairs, dining room table, desk, a furnished kitchen with coffee, tea, a microwave and a bar fridge. You have your own washroom complete with shower and a bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The couch in the living room pulls out to a double sized bed. This oasis is warmed by central heating as well as a main gas fireplace and an electric fireplace in the bedroom for extra cozy warmth. There is wifi access and a tv with surround sound that is hooked up to Netflix. Guest AccessYou will be able to access the entire basement, with the exception of one storage room and under the stairs. It has a separate entrance that is keyed so you can come and go as you please. Interaction with GuestsWe are just upstairs and a phone call away. Don is an Uber driver as well so if transportation is needed, he is just a shout away. The NeighborhoodWe are in a quiet residential crescent in Sherwood Park that is very close to amenities and has friendly neighbours. Getting AroundThere is one parking spot available on our driveway, if you would like your car parked inside, please let us know and we will see if we can make arrangements. The bus stop is just around the corner - about a 3 minute walk - and the bus line takes you to the main bus terminal that connects to buses anywhere in Sherwood Park or downtown Edmonton. Other Things to NoteAlthough we have a pug upstairs, they have never been allowed downstairs so we would appreciate no pets. We are non-smoking as well and expect our guests to go elsewhere if they wish to smoke (this includes the driveway etc as our neighbours are not fans of cigarette butts) No additional heating or cooking appliances are allowed. No unauthorized guests without prior arrangement.

      The SpaceWe have tons of trails on our property for walking and quading or snowshoeing and sledding in the winter. Our trails lead out to a small lake where bird watching can be done. You can sometimes see the Northern Lights here in the winter. We also have a 6 person hot tub with views of the Aspen Parkland for your enjoyment. There's also a large fire pit area as well. Our place is a great alternative to staying in the city or Sherwood Park. We are about 15 min from Sherwood Park so not too far from amenities. We also have a kettle, coffee maker, rice cooker, and a wok. We happily welcome families! A high chair and a pack and play can be provided if needed. Hosts have a dog and a cat. They will not enter your suite. They will be on the main level of the home. Entrance to the suite if through the hosts home. There is no separate entrance. No animals allowed - Please do not request to ask For everyone's safety our property is equipped with security cameras on the outside. Also a high quality security alarm. A temporary password will be provided for each guest.

At this time the entrance is though the hosts home and then down to the basement suite. The NeighborhoodWe live in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood! Lots of parks, green space, large trees, and walking trails. Getting AroundFrom our home it takes approximately 10 minutes to get to the East side of Edmonton. 25-30 minutes to the West Edmonton Mall by car. 25 minutes to and from the airport by car. There is a bus stop right behind our home that will bring you all over Sherwood Park and will also bring you into Edmonton. Other Things to NoteYes we have: Coffee, tea, essential condiments (spices, salt and pepper etc.) blow dryer, flat iron, curling iron, soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, extra blankets, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, extra bedding and cleaning supplies. We also have a kettle, coffee maker, rice cooker, and a wok. We happily welcome families! A high chair and a pack and play can be provided if needed. Hosts have a dog and a cat. They will not enter your suite. They will be on the main level of the home. Entrance to the suite if through the hosts home. There is no separate entrance. No animals allowed - Please do not request to ask For everyone's safety our property is equipped with security cameras on the outside. Also a high quality security alarm. A temporary password will be provided for each guest.

        Furnished House for Rent in Fort Saskatchewan with new furniture. All you need are towels and bedding for a double bed. 4 bedroom house, 1100 square feet. 3 bedrooms up and 1 down. All bedrooms have a double bed, dresser, night table, lamp and TV. Kitchen has dishes, pots & pans etc. Laundry room is downstairs. Upstairs - nice size bedrooms. All bedrooms have TV. There is a full bathroom with bath-tub and shower. Relax in the living room beside the gas fire place while watching a 55in TV. Kitchen has a dishwasher. Relax on the deck which is just off the kitchen. Throw a steak on the barbeque and enjoy a beverage on the patio. With a nice yard to relax in, it hardly feels like you're in a city. Basement - Finished Rec room in the basement gives another living space to relax and watch a 55in TV. There is also a full bathroom, with bath-tub and shower. Washer/dryer is located downstairs. Utilities, cable, internet cleaning, yard maintenance are negotiable.

I also have WiFi and I can give you the password when you get here. I have a little dog named Diego and he's very friendly because he thinks everyone that comes in our home are his friends that he hasn't seen in forever. Getting Aroundthe bus stop is fairly close but anything else you would have to drive but it's not that far away. Restaurant and shopping is fairly close but not walking distance.

The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is a nicely maintained older community that is nestled in large spruce trees and much greenery! It is peaceful and yet close to just about anything you could be looking for. Just outside of the Sherwood Park area you can find the Elk Island National Park, and other areas of interest. Festival Place (a performing arts venue) is only about a 15 minute walk away. It features many well known entertainers as well as an outdoor patio concert series and many festivals and events during the summer months. Getting AroundNearest bus stop is about 2 blocks away. This stop provides direct service to a main transit center (7 minutes away). From that center you can travel into Edmonton taking several different routes. Cab and Uber service also available. Other Things to NoteI am a reasonably quiet individual and you can be assured that you will have a peaceful environment for sleeping and relaxing! This area is very close to a Shopping Mall as well as several parks, restaurants and other entertainment. If you are driving your vehicle will be secure in my driveway, but if you require transport bus service is within short walking distance. It is a 20 minute drive to Downtown Edmonton. Escape the hustle of the city but still have full access to all it offers!
