Perfect for families, visitors, students, profs, and professionals this suite has 6 appliances in the kitchen and is beautifully decorated to enhance the natural environment. Near Pearson College, Royal Roads University, and School District #62 this is a peaceful setting ideal for studying and group planning.
For sports fans this is near to the Rugby Canada site, West Shore Arena, The Ballorama Centre with mini golf, the bowling centre, the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre, and thus accessible to the velodrome, skating, curling, hockey, baseball, golf, archery, tennis, rollerblading, soccer, lawn bowling, outdoor adventures, hiking, swimming, fishing, whale watching, mountain biking, road racing, BMXing, and the list in inexhaustible. It is ideal for winter training: triathletes, and bikers in training enjoy the mild climate here in mid winter for training.
There is a deck outside the door with a picnic area, bbq, and access to the lawn and lake. It is ideal for families who have a week or 2 to enjoy in the summer and want a place to call home in Victoria while visiting from away, and enjoying the touristic activities of this area. Also ideal for students or profs it is conducive to good studies due to the quiet and free WIFI.
We book from three days upwards and have housekeeping available. There is a $50 charge per week for housekeeping. The 5% taxes are on top of the fee listed and it is based on double occupancy. Children under 12 are free.
This waterfront property is on the famous Galloping Goose Trail and has many activities close by for all ages. The lake is perfect for swimming, boating and fishing, and the weather is often nice from March onwards to October for swimming. (Personally I generally wait a bit longer for that first plunge into the fresh water!) There garden is pretty, and the area is quiet and country like despite being 20 minutes from downtown Victoria. The Rugby capital of Canada is minutes away are are several recreation centres, golf courses, and tennis courts. Curling is available in winter, as are hockey and skating, and in summer BMX biking, lawn bowling, skeet shooting, archery, rollerblading, and many other activities. The Fort Rodd Hill, and Royal Road's Hatley Castle are available for exploration near by and the Sooke and the Victoria Museums are wonderful places to visit as well. We also have a new cinema at the nearby West Shore Mall.
