We love being able to walk down to the river and sit on the beach, and continue walking along the dykes. The quietness of our neighborhood makes for a very peaceful stay. Not only do we have our own large vegetable garden that guests can help themselves to, we have four organic farms in the neighborhood that sell their vegetables and farm fresh eggs to the public. There is nothing like sitting in the hot tub at night doing some serious star gazing. Getting AroundBy car, we are located ten minutes north of the town of Pemberton, up the Pemberton Meadows Road. The Pemberton Valley is not serviced by BC Transit buses. Pemberton Meadows Road is a popular biking road, with many people biking to the town and back. It is a three hour drive by car or bus from YVR to Pemberton passing through Whistler. Other Things to NoteThere is an extra charge if guests wish to host a social function on site. Interaction with GuestsI walk daily in the crown land back of the lake — and in the Marble Range too — and often get asked to show others 1 to 2 hours routes they can explore and get their exercize at the same time. For those staying a minimum length (4 nights) I could stay with a friend at the lake and lead a daily hike. Price ... no doubt a case of red wine would do it. Getting Around30 to 40 minutes to nearest store, so make your list and check it twice. Other Things to NoteThe lake has a 10k speed limit. Hence no towing like water skiing.
