Have a real B&B experience on the beautiful Port de Grave peninsula, home of fishing longliners and rugged seascapes. Just outside of Bay Roberts, so you're close to what you may need--liquor store, restaurants, etc. We're only one hour from St. John's Airport and centrally located on the Avalon.
Our season starts with icebergs in the spring, whales into summer and beautiful, relaxing autumn with gorgeous weather. We're open all year and we keep the wood stove going all winter! Come in our off season (November to April) and also have the opportunity to choose from a selection of suppers, served in our dining room so you don't need to leave your toasty and comfortable surroundings.
This listing is for our Green's Harbour Room, queen sized bed with a private detached bathroom (no sharing of bathrooms at The Bayside), but we have other rooms available. Just call. Maximum occupancy is for two adults.

There are chairs along the edge of the hill to sit and take in the beautiful ocean views. Whales come into the bay during their season, so it's not unusual to see a Minke or a Humpback whale, just taking a leisurely swim.
During fishing season, boats will be strutting up and down the shoreline, hauling their catch up to the deck. Interaction with GuestsWe are always on the premises.

The beautiful village of Port de Grave is just up the road where the wonderful and hard working Newfoundlanders continue on in the tradition of fishing. Watch the boats come in and out of the harbour or just drive to the end of the peninsula and hike to the lighthouse.
Drive in any direction and take in more Newfoundland wonder.
St. John's is only an hour's drive so if you need a taste of the 'big city', you don't have far to go.
