The SpaceThe Erin Manor is a custom built Tudor style home designed after Elsing Hall in Wellington Country England. Its original owner hand built, and constructed this highly detailed home and even made the stain glass you will find throughout the home (along with planting every tree himself!). This home was then "let go" for a number of years and now as the new owners we have renovated and restored the Manor to its original charm with a few pretty awesome updates. The project had multiple features in a Home and Lifestyle magazine. Guest AccessYou will have access to your private room and private bathroom. You will also have access to the whole top floor of the home which includes an office space and the open concept kitchen/dining area with chalet style floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace. There is a "Drawing Room" on the lower level of the home that can be requested as well. You can also make yourself at home outdoors on the multitudes of private acreage. Interaction with GuestsWe will be here to check you in and hope to get a feel for if you desire company of not. We are happy to share a glass of wine and some stories but are also more than happy to recluse to our private space to give you total privacy which we value very much. The NeighborhoodThis place is out in the sticks. This makes the stars to die for in all seasons! Therefore, coming and simply staying here is the major adventure; however, we are still a short drive to the forks of the credit provincial park, many quaint little hamlets and towns (with restaurants and local bakeries) and moments from the cataract trail system which will entertain you for hours for those who like to walk, hike, bike, or cross-country ski! You can take a 20 minute or so bike ride down to some awesome little coffee shops and get a feel for Ontario's country lifestyle. Getting AroundAs I said, we are in the sticks! No public transit reaches here. the closest bust station would be Orangeville. A ride can be arranged at an additional cost. Otherwise, drive on down the custom made winding driveway to your free parking spot and begin your journey on your timeline. Other Things to NoteThis place is a paradise in all seasons! We are set on over 13 very private acres set well back from the road and are adjacent to over 100 acres of a secluded trail system. You can explore the property and trails for hours. You must also enjoy the flowing river that is only a hop skip and jump from our front door.

The SpaceThis getaway is not one of buzz and hustle: Au contraire! Here you can come recluse, unplug (although we do offer wifi and Netflix) and feel like you have gone back in time to the 1400's which was when the English Manor the home was custom built after was created. We are set back on many very private acres and sit directly adjacent to 100 acres of trails which you rarely see another person. You can take the open route to the trails or take the secret forest crossing to get yourself there. Relax in the open concept custom kitchen recently designed and featured in a Home & Lifestyle Magazine. Sit by the fire - downstairs or up - and enjoy a game of chess, cribbage or simply a good conversation (you know, like the ones we used to have more when our cell phones and daily grinds weren't calling?!) Embrace some music or play it if you can as guitars are available. We want you too feel inspired by your time here; we want to create a connective and unique experience for you! We are passionate cooks, travellers, animal lovers and people who deeply enjoy spending time getting to know people and sharing our home with others. Snowmobile rides into town are weather permitting! Guest AccessThe Manor is two stories, guests are welcome on the whole top floor. There are two bedrooms upstairs which are both available to rent. Each bedroom is private and comes with a private bathroom. You have full access to the open concept kitchen which is coupled with the chalet style wood burning fire place (wood included). There is also a large "drawing room" (known today as a games/family room) downstairs which is where you can watch movies and play chess on the medieval style board in front of the fire. You can embrace the warmth of this room while the wall sconces flicker and really remind you that you have stepped away from your day-to-day norms. Interaction with GuestsThere will always be one of us around (somewhere) throughout your stay. We are open socializers but really respect peoples privacy so if indicated in booking, we will check you in and then won't be seen unless desired! We are happy to show you the trails, or just explain them; the trip to town is two easy turns; we are happy to entertain or again, allow you to entertain yourself and create your own adventure out here. The NeighborhoodWell, we are in the sticks. Which means, bring your supplies but the stars are to die for! The closest run if you need it though is only about 10 minutes. Getting AroundUmmmmmmm the closest bus station may be 30 minutes away, if you are lucky. You need a car to get the feel (and access) to this place. Other Things to NoteIf you would like a home cooked dinner, we are thrilled to schedule you in (flexible timing) and make you a personally tailored evening meal (at an additional charge) as well as your breakfast (which is included). The property/trails are excellent for walks, cross country skiing, and exploring! So come ready for the outdoors if this your bag baby!
