The SpaceA second floor suite, this is adjacent to the Niagara Friendship Trail, and within minutes of local beaches. Biking, geocaching, birding, and antiquing are just some of the activities you'll enjoy. 27 minutes to Niagara Falls, Outlet malls, and 20 minutes to Fort Erie and New York State. 15 minutes to the town of Port Colborne that has great restaurants, specialty shops, YMCA, parks, and a great chance to watch the tanker ships pass through the locks as you walk along the Welland Canal. Guest AccessGuests will have access to parking, a large fenced yard, and kitchen with fridge, electric stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle, as well as dishes, cutlery, and cookware. The kitchen can be stocked ahead of time by arrangement. Breakfast and supper can also be supplied for most days for a nominal charge. We supply complimentary coffee and tea in your kitchen. We have a large fenced yard and can provide dog-sitting/walking for you.
You will have a picnic table, outdoor benches, camp chairs, and lounges. A bonfire might be available, depending on weather and wind conditions. You are free to use a table-top charcoal bar-b-q, please purchase your charcoal.
When the sky is clear, you may have guided access to a solar telescope and deep sky telescopes. Interaction with GuestsIn terms of interaction, we take our cue from you. Join us for coffee on the wrap-around front porch of the main house after supper, explore the universe from the on site observatory or outside telescopes. We can guide you on local outings, or leave you with suggested sites. We are happy to do whatever would make this a great time-away experience for you! Getting AroundWe are in a semi-rural area with no public transit. You will need a vehicle or bike to get around. Once in Niagara Falls, you can take a train or bus to Burlington, and connect to the GO train to Toronto if you crave the big city for a day. Other Things to NoteBath towels and bed linens are provided. Please bring your own beach towels if you are going to the beach. The kitchen has dishes, cups, glasses, utensils, pots and pans.
