I am a middle-aged lady with a 3-bedroom townhouse in a very quiet, well landscaped complex. I enjoy meeting new people & therefore rent out the 2 spare bedrooms. I enjoy ballroom dancing and going for long walks taking in the many green spaces in Guelph and the surrounding areas. My home is in a very quiet, well landscaped complex with a country feel. Enjoy the patio & garden in the backyard while bird watching. Conveniently located, my home is within walking distance from the world-renowned University of Guelph. If you're interested in shopping, the Stone Road Mall is only 1 block away and contains over 150 stores. While in Guelph, visit the museums, art galleries, The Arboretum, The Butterfly Conservatory, The St. Jacob's Farmer's Market and much more! With easy access to the 401, we're less than an hour west of Toronto & 1.5 hours east of London. I look forward to meeting you soon!

The SpaceThe house is an old turn of the century home that was turned into a triplex in the 1940's. Our family of 4 and cat live in the first apartment and we rent the middle 1 bedroom apartment. We use the upper 2 bedroom apt for studio/gallery/guest room and family room. The apartment boasts 2 floors. Where the bottom floor has my studio and showroom it also has a full kitchen and bathroom. The upper floor is a large open chalet/cottage like space with wide wood plank floors and sloping ceilings and dormers. Note, although our cat lives with us downstairs the dander will travel on us as we move btw apt to apt. Guest AccessThere is a full kitchen and bathroom. The upstairs has a very open space with a new flat screen TV that can sync up to your netflix or we also have basic cable. It is also full of light and lovely views being so high up. There is easy access to wifi. Since this is my working space I would ask that guests leave my workspace alone. (It's a small room with a door so easy to ignore) There will be some basic food items fruit, yogurt, bread, cheese, snacks, local eggs!, coffee and tea that you are welcome to. AND sometimes homemade granola (Yum, when possible) The bathroom has all you need as well: towels, shampoo, etc. Interaction with GuestsSince we live in the the apartment downstairs we will greet our guests and be there if they need anything. The NeighborhoodWe live in a mixed neighbourhood. With some student dwellings, apartments and many single family homes. We are very close to the downtown so accessibility to shopping and restaurants is great. We also live close by to many parks and the river is right across the street which makes for some good old walking around. We would love to let you know about where to go in Guelph as we are proud dwellers! There are many artists and festivals in this small city and we would be happy to give you any info on our exciting community. Getting AroundThere is public transit close to the house and an easy walk to the main transit hub downtown for bus service and Via and Go train service. Other Things to NoteThere can be parking available. Depending on when the guests arrive and how easily we can maneuver all the cars. We have a long narrow driveway that can hold 3 cars but has already 2. From May to October there is parking on the street.
