Welcome to The Guest House at Fishers' Paradise - A privately owned Outdoor Event and Camping Facility. The property is our home, where we host various events and travellers...You are in comfort close to wilderness with a fully furnished, three bedroom home, containing a wood stove, full kitchen and bath, and WiFi. It neighbours our family home - and we are always available for questions or to show you around. The Guest House is located on a hill overlooking a lake and forested area, where there is a private road and cleared trails meandering to the pristine river. At the river, there is a large sandy beach with gazebo, canoes, bonfire pit and picnic tables. Fishing equipment and bicycles are available at your convenience. The property is shared among guests staying at Fishers' Paradise - Guest House, Cabins, and Campsites..Each season has special opportunities in nature; including swimming, canoeing, paddle-boating, hiking, biking, star-gazing, campfires, maple syrup making, cross country skiing and snowshoeing backcountry style. We are in a small rural community with a distinct French Canadian and Aboriginal heritage, making this a unique Northern Ontario experience. We have 3 very socialized dogs who go unleashed... they are friendly and protect the area.We also host annual festivals each summer - River & Sky, and The Field FestivalFishers' Paradise won the 2013 Award of Excellence for Best New Business from the West Nipissing Chamber of Commerce.
