Stay 1 night or 1 year - any length! We live upstairs and are around 24/7. We have 3 rooms for rent in our basement. They are nice, clean and private. First come first serve - we will always put you in the best/largest room as first choice. If you need 2 or 3 rooms - please contact me and i will confirm that they are both available for the same dates. All 3 rooms have comfortable real beds large enough for 2 people. You will have full access to bathroom, shower, kitchen, washer and dryer. Wireless internet is available as well. You can request any room you prefer - and it will be available first come first serve. We are located in a nice safe quiet respected area of Saskatoon. Located within minutes of all great locations in Saskatoon including within 5 minute walk to 20 restaurants, convenience stores, gas station, church, schools and 4 parks. Only 10 blocks to main shopping and busy area. We are a 5 minute drive to downtown and Bessborough Hotel area. Taxi fare from our house to downtown is about $10.00. Available 12 months a year. I believe bus costs $2.50 per ride. Personal chauffeur - if you need rides anywhere we will drive you around for less than the cost of a taxi to save you money. We are a quiet married couple with a small non-shedding dog. If you are not familiar with Saskatoon we would be happy to explain the way around to get anywhere. Write us with any questions. We invite anyone of any age, culture or religion. We only speak english. We appreciate if you keep volume down and we will do the same. The only thing we request is that you do your smoking outside only. I keep very late hours so if you have to arrive or leave very late that is no problem. I work late nights and get to sleep about 5am. My wife Valerie wakes up early and is usually up by 7am so almost throughout the entire day one of us is around to help. You can do a search online and find maps of city bus routes and schedules. Bus stop is only 1 block away.

The SpaceA wonderfully comfortable bungalow, 1100 sq feet, fully modern. The bathroom reno was completed in early May 2015. Note: Shower only, no bathtub. Has 4 beds (3 bedrooms) - see photo as 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed. There are benches on the deck that can be turned into a picnic table. There is also a patio set on the deck. Propane BBQ, satellite tv, washer/dryer, fire pit for your use. Sheets, towels for in-cottage use only, kitchen linens are supplied. Cookware, utensils & dishes are also supplied. There is no landline as cell service is very good with most carriers - except Rogers. Just bring your food, personal items, clothing & beach towels. There are chairs at the back of the cabin that are used for sitting around the fire pit. There is a private dock on the lake available for your use as well. Please note that this is not a lake front cabin. Photo shows our private dock on the lake - not the view from the front of our cottage. We are located about 20 minutes north of the Emma Lake turnoff on the road to Waskesiu. (It takes 2 hrs 10 mins from Saskatoon.) 1 km to Elk Ridge (for golfing, restaurants, spa) and 5 kms to Waskesiu. There is a store at the corner of Hwy 2 where you turn off the highway (LT’s) for gas, drinking water jugs, food essentials, etc. I have heard that LT's has very good noodle bowls. One drinking water jug will be supplied for you. We usually go in to Waskesiu if we need anything or just to visit the beautiful beach. There is a fabulous bakery at the Trading Post in Waskesiu, a movie theatre and numerous restaurants & shops. Pete's Terrace has excellent pizza. McPhee is a small lake with many of the cottages/houses occupied year round. – including a couple of our neighbours. It is usually very quiet. The walkway to the beach is about half a block from us to the right and the walkway to the dock is half a block to the left. Renters are responsible for any damage! No Smoking Please! This is our cottage (not a rental business) & we ask that renters respect our family's property and leave it as clean & in the same condition as they find it. (We do not charge a cleaning fee, however, should you wish to NOT clean before you leave, there will be a $200 charge. Please arrange this in advance. If, upon inspection, the cabin is not clean, $200 will be deducted from your security deposit.) Please respect our neighbours! There is an additional charge of $10 per person per night after the first 4 guests (maximum 6 people total). Long weekend rates differ - please inquire. Pets MAY be allowed - please inquire. $150 Non-refundable pet fee applicable. The 1000 gallon cistern will be full and the 1000 gallon septic tank will be empty. IF you use all of the water & require a pump-out or water delivery during your stay, there will be a $65 charge per pump-out and $180 per water delivery. This should NOT be necessary if minor water conservation techniques are used. Please note our strict cancellation policy as this will be adhered to. There is a very short rental season and while every effort will be made to rent after a cancellation, it may not be possible as most people make their summer plans well in advance. Please be honest - if you book for a certain # of people, we expect only that # to stay. IF more people stay than booked, you will forfeit your deposit & be asked to leave immediately without any refund. We do try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible so please do not take advantage. Unfortunately these rules have come about due to past unpleasant experiences with renters. We respect other people's property and hope everyone will respect ours. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have so please ask! Guest AccessGuests have access to the cabin, fire pit, BBQ & dock. The garage, coverall & shed on site is private & therefore not accessible to guests. Interaction with GuestsWe usually like to meet our guests at the cabin when turning over the keys. If not possible, other arrangements will be made.

The SpaceRestored, historic 1908 house. Right on the doorstep of beautiful River Landing and Meewasin trail, Bus stop out front, 20 minute walk along the river to downtown. Immediate vicinity of farmers market, tennis courts and Riversdale Pool. Across the street from a confectionery. Wifi available. Shared bathroom. While here, expect it to be quiet, as it's just my husband and myself. Expect to feel at home, using the outdoor patio for a little relaxation, or using your computer in your room. We live in one of the core neighbourhoods of Saskatoon. We are right across the street from a beautiful park, and a walk along the trail will take you to the farmers market, or keep going until you reach downtown and the Bessborough Hotel. There are no restaurants in the immediate area, but you are just blocks away from many. The farmers market has food booths from local people. Our house is a carefully restored B.C. Mills and Timber Co. home, pre-manufactured and assembled on sight back in 1909. It was a home usually built for bank managers back in the old days, to attract them to new areas. We love ouir home and the easy going neighbourhood, with lots of mature trees.

While there is a separate private unoccupied space in the basement it is not available for use. This is not a shared accommodation and the guests have the entire house to themselves. It is a mature area of the city with wonderful trees and beautifully landscaped Getting AroundThere is a bus stop on the same street. That will take you downtown for connections. Their are also cabs and car rentals in Saskatoon. Other Things to NoteI think it should be noted that is an older home and if you are looking for a modern home this is not the house for you :).

The SpaceYou are renting our couch in our living room. So its semi-private. We do our best to stay out of there and give you privacy. We decided to make the couch available because I have had numerous requests from people so they don't need any fancy accommodation. They just need a really cheap place to sleep. So for those of you who want the cheapest possible accommodation in Saskatoon this is it. Hotels are on average $150.00 a night in Saskatoon If you just need a sleep then you will get a nice quiet peaceful clean place. You will also have access to our dining area, free internet wi-fi, bathroom and shower/tub and parking. Yes we do have full rooms available but this listing is specifically for those who want really cheap simple overnight accommodation. We recommend you bring your own sleeping bag and pillow if possible and snack food which you can keep in the fridge. Walk out the front door and stroll along the Meewasin Valley Trail system, or walk 3 blocks and enjoy one of the many coffee shops in the Broadway Avenue area. There is lots of parking on the street and in the Rotary Park Lot situated directly across from the condo complex. Enter through the separate entrance ground level front door. Comfy Natuzzi leather sectional in living area with river view, hardwood floors are throughout main living area and bedroom, cozy fully stocked (dishes, cookware, utensils) kitchen with range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge. Tassimo coffee maker for your use. Large bedroom, with queen sized bed, has a large window overlooking the South Saskatchewan River. Artwork adorns walls. The price listed does not include the cleaning fee, which is charged only once per stay.         A wonderfully comfortable bungalow, 1100 sq feet, fully modern. The bathroom was renovated last year. No bathtub - only a large shower now. Sleeps 6 adults comfortably in 4 double beds (3 bedrooms - one of the bedrooms has a double bunkbed, the other 2 have double beds). The benches in the screen porch can be turned into picnic tables if you want to eat outside. There is also a patio set on the deck. Propane BBQ, satellite tv, washer/dryer, fire pit for your use. Sheets, towels for in-cottage use only, kitchen linens are supplied. Cookware, utensils & dishes are also supplied. There is no landline as cell service is very good with most carriers - except Rogers. Just bring your food, personal items, clothing & beach towels. There are chairs at the back of the cabin that are used for sitting around the fire pit. There is a private dock on the lake available for your use as well. Please note that this is not a lake front cabin. Photo shows our private dock on the lake - not the view from the front of our cottage. McPhee Lake is located about 20 minutes north of the Emma Lake turnoff on the road to Waskesiu. (It takes 2 hrs 10 mins from Saskatoon.) 1 km to Elk Ridge (for golfing, restaurants, spa) and 5 kms to Waskesiu. There is a store at the corner of Hwy 2 where you turn off the highway (LT's) for gas, drinking water jugs, food essentials, etc. I have heard that LT's has very good noodle bowls. One drinking water jug will be supplied for you. We usually go in to Waskesiu if we need anything or just to visit the beautiful beach. There is a fabulous bakery at the Trading Post in Waskesiu, a movie theatre and numerous restaurants & shops. McPhee is a small lake with many of the cottages/houses occupied year round. – including a couple of our neighbours. It is usually very quiet. The walkway to the beach is about half a block from us to the right and the walkway to the dock is half a block to the left. Renters are responsible for any damage! No Smoking Please! This is our cottage (not a rental business) & we ask that renters respect our family's property and leave it as clean & in the same condition as they find it. (We do not charge a cleaning fee, however, should you wish to NOT clean before you leave, there will be a $150 charge. Please arrange this in advance. If, upon inspection, the cabin is not clean, $150 will be deducted from your security deposit.) Please respect our neighbours! There is an additional charge of $10 per person per night after the first 4 guests (maximum 6 adults total). Long weekend rates differ - please inquire. Pets MAY be allowed - please inquire. $150 Non-refundable pet fee applicable. The 1000 gallon cistern will be full and the 1000 gallon septic tank will be empty. The room has a Fire Code Egress Window, hard-wired smoke alarm system. Full closet with hangers, a luggage rack, laundry basket, house coats, slippers, extra blankets. Office chair, small desk, desk light, ceiling fan/light, clock, bedwarmer, night tables, and storage drawers. Air conditioning in summer. All linens and bedding supplied. Mattress and boxspring wrapped in special full-enclosed covers plus bedwarmer and mattress pad. Bedroom door has locks. The bathroom is 3 steps away from the room. Has full tub/shower and "I Forgot" Cupboard. Our home was custom built in the 1960's, added on to in 1970's and renovated in 1990's, 2005's, 2010's, 2011's, 2012's, 2013's, 2014's, 2015's - My dear husband is never going to be done! Ask him what he says he does to keep busy and his answer is "Debbie!" Guest AccessEntrance Keyless front door, you will have your own code for access. This code is removed when you check-out. Short walk to neighbourhood restaurant 40 min walk to University or 6 mins drive 2 blocks from city bus service 20 min walk to major retail mall, theatre. Getting AroundSaskatoon has great Taxi Services: Blueline/United - I know the number off by heart Comfort Cabs. From airport approp $25-30 plus tip. City Transit is 2.5 blocks away. 12 min ride to UofS. Of course you can go anywhere in the city by Transit. Printed Routes all available at house and I can help you with the city on-line link. Car Rentals - all National Brands are available in the city. Other Things to NoteIf you like to visit we are open to that. Join us in the sitting room, at the kitchen bar, in the fireplace room or outside on the deck (if it is nice).                   The SpaceYour bedroom is on the 1st floor close to the bathroom. It is simple but cosy and bright, as the rest of the townhouse. The townhouse has a nice deck and a non fenced yard. This 950 sq ft suite is beautifully furnished and includes WiFi, in suite laundry, dedicated underground parking and cable TV. Just bring your suitcase, relax and enjoy. Guest AccessBuilding features include a recreation meeting room on the top floor. Exercise room also available at the lower level. Interaction with GuestsMichelle our suites manager will show you the place and give you the keys. You will have entire privacy like in your own home. Michelle will be just a phone call away should you need anything at all during your stay. The NeighborhoodFifth Avenue Suites has now rented fully furnished, ready to go suites for many years. Our suites are located in downtown Saskatoon close to the University of Saskatchewan and two hospitals. We are minutes from commerce, shopping, dining, parks and all kinds of entertainment. The river and beautiful Meewasin bank walking, running and biking trails are 5 minutes walk from the suites. You can also walk across the train bridge and view the weir or watch the sun set. The Kinsmen Park is just around the corner, where you can cross country ski in winter on groomed trails and enjoy beautiful walks from spring to summer. Getting AroundYou well within walking distance from downtown and many amenities. Should you need to go farther, buses, Taxis and car rentals area easily accessible. Other Things to NoteCheck-In time is 3:00 PM and Check-out time is 11:00 AM to allow for professional cleaning between bookings. Additional cleaning is not provided during your stay however a contact number is given should you wish to have the suite cleaned at additional cost.
