It is located in a small townhouse complex with friendly neighbours. Getting AroundPublic bus route is a short 4 min walk from condo and taxi's are available however this can become expensive. Cayman is a safe place to drive (even if out the left hand side) and as such, we would recommend renting a car for affordable ease of access to restaurants, beaches and attractions. Other Things to NoteIf staying for longer than a few days you may want to rent a car. Weekly rate of $999 is based on two guests. For more than two guests, weekly rate increases to $1125. Also regular rate of $149 applies for 2 ppl. There is a charge of $20 per person for each additional person per night. There is a cleaning fee of $75

      The SpaceThis place is the ideal for SCUBA DIVERS since it't less than 1 mile from the public dock where most of the diving boats leave, half mile from Lighthouse Diving and 1 mile from Makabuka Divers where you can shore or boat dive. I call this place "country by the sea" because it is a big apartment "country style" with high ceilings and because it's surrounded by trees, but it's by the ocean too! You can have you breakfast in the morning chilling on the private big terrace and looking at the sea. With the word "BIG" terrace I mean 410 square feet (38 squared metres) with a 10'x3' table!! Then you can decide to use my bike to go to the close public beach (1km) or take a bus to go to the 7Mile Beach. If you stay at my place, you can travel with a light baggage since I am providing: - bed linen - bathroom towels - shampoo, body wash, soap, sunscreen, moisturizing lotion etc. - beach towels - complete snorkel gear: mask, snorkel and fins - a beach chair. I am also giving you a local mobile phone you can you can feel free to use to make local phone calls to restaurants, taxi etc. You can use the dish washing machine, the laundry and dryer and you can store your food in the fridge and in the pantry. You can use the kitchen to cook. If you are a scuba diver, you will have a lot of space to store your diving gear and to hang it to dry on the wire in the terrace. I have been leaving here for a long time so I will be more than happy to give you all the information you want on how to spend your time here, from the island attractions, the magic hidden places that few people know, the coolest or the cheapest place where to eat or drink. The apartment is licensed by the Cayman Island Department of Tourism, it has passed the Dept of Fire, Health an Tourism inspections. The final price you pay already includes the 13% tourist taxes that the tourists are requested to pay -by low- to the Dept of Tourism: nothing will be added to the final price you pay to Airbnb. The rooms are spacious, with high roofs and brilliant insulation so you won't hear a sound! The house has a real 'homely' feel to it :-) Guest AccessYou will have access to the pool which is located right outside our patio door. We will provide you with access to our kayak, snorkeling gear and beach chairs! The beach is right beside cemetery beach which is a popular beach for tourists and residents alike. The snorkeling in our 'back garden' is some of the best on Island. The Kittiwake a ship wreck and major tourist attraction is located directly in front of our beach area. Interaction with GuestsGerard and I both work office hours Monday to Friday and are usually home around 8 in the evening. We are eager to advise you on all the best restaurants, bars and must see attractions on Island. We will do our best to ensure that you enjoy this holiday of a life time, however, we will not be interrupting on your time too much :-). The NeighborhoodThe beach is the main event in our location. Residents in Cayman consider it to be the best part of the famous seven mile beach (recently voted the worlds best beach). We also have a supermarket which is just a 2 minute walk from our house. Getting AroundThe local bus stops right outside our front wall (and drops you back to the house too). Within 20 minutes from the airport (direct flights from New York, Toronto, Chicago, Miami), 5-10 minutes to Seven Mile Beach, and a few minutes to the closest dive shop, the condo is in convenient, yet private location. This is a place where R&R; is the number one priority. You can be as active, or inactive as you want. If you want to be part of the tourist scene of jet skiers, para-sailing, bars, cruise ship scene etc., Seven Mile Beach is just minutes away. If you want to sit on the beach with a good book, listen to the waves, watch the birds, dig your toes in the sand, count the shades of blue (so far, the list is at 80), and give yourself some space to re-charge, your chaise awaits you. If you are a gourmand, or just like to have a great meal, the best and most interesting restaurants are within minutes of our condo. Our guests regularly tell us that it is the best vacation that they have had, and consequently, we have many repeat visitors. At almost 3,000 sq.ft, the condo is very spacious and can sleep up to 10 in its' four bedrooms plus den/media room.The kitchen is fully equipped with top-of the-range GE appliances and furnished with everything needed for a condo of this size. Two minutes away is the Heritage Kitchen famous for its local foods - fish tea, fish and conch. Walk one more minute and you are Heritage Squatre where you can find a Medical Clinic, Pharmacy,Bankand Subway Sandwich. Further along the road you'll find Foster's Food Fair, a full scale supermarket. Taxi's (mini vans) run all the time and will pick up and drop anywhere. The snorkeling infront of Calypso Cove is spectacular. A fair swim out you can view the 'KITTYWAKE" a sunken ship teeming with fish and aquatic life. There is incredible snorkeling virtually at your front door at Villas Pappagallo. There are palm trees for shade, and a beautiful pool at your disposal. This area has a true "island" feeling!  Enjoy endless walks on the gorgeous white sand beach that neighbors a national park. Every one of the 3 spacious bedrooms has a King size bed and full balcony overlooking the ocean. There is a Queen size air mattress available for guest use, as well as a twin size rollaway bed and a pack-and-play crib for infants and small children.  A grocery store is about a five minute drive away. The larger store is about a 15 minute drive away and is easy to stop at on your way back from daily adventures. A variety of fine restaurants and many water-sport facilities are also located close by.  Being the only corner unit that rents at the Villas Pappagallo Complex, you will have views to the west, north, and east. On certain days of the year, you can watch the sunrise in the east and set in the west from the same lounge chair on the beach! And because we are an end unit, these beautiful views are completely unobstructed, a really amazing sight to see. Our villa is licensed to rent under the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism Rental Laws and we use one of the best property managers on the island. Taura will be cooling the unit as she waits for you to arrive, show you around, hand over the keys, and answer any questions you may have regarding the island, the complex, and the unit. Styled on distressed natural materials and colours, the condo blends into it's beachfront setting. With a spacious terrace, accessible from both the master bedroom and living area, relax with an evening BBQ on the private grill or sit back and enjoy the sunsets. CoCo Condo is located in the Coconut Bay development in the residential North West Point area of Grand Cayman. The site offers two swimming pools, plus some fantastic shore diving and snorkelling. Tanks and weights are available at a discount from our local resident dive operation. There are other shore dives within easy reach of the site. We are 1.5 miles from the north end of Seven Mile Beach, and are close to the Cracked Conch restaurant and Macabuca bar, offering a great place for a drink, a snack and watching our beautiful sunsets. We are less than a mile from the Cayman Turtle Farm and the Cayman Motor Museum. West Bay offers a selection of smaller, cosy restaurants like Alfresco and Heritage Kitchen, and several of the island's larger dive ops, many of which will pick you up from the condo. Other local activities, all within a 20 minute drive from our condo, include horseback riding, kayak tours, sailboat rental, golf, submarine tours, most watersport rentals, fishing charters, Stingray City tours, and of course the incredible beauty of the world-famous Seven Mile Beach. Small weights and pull up bars if you feel you need to stay in shape while on vacation. Very quiet beach with great swimming and snorkelling. The popular Alfresco's beach restaurant is across the road with a grocery store, pharmacy, Subway sandwich also within walking distance. Some of the best Dive boat operator's are also nearby. Taxis (mini vans) run all the time and will pick up and drop off anywhere along 7 mile beach. Although Calypso Cove is in a quiet residential area, all the 7 mile beach restaurants, shopping, etc, movie theatres,gyms, etc., are very conveniently located.
