Situated in San Mateo, this 3 bedroom house accommodates up to 16 guests and starts at just USD 270 per night. This house is child-friendly. It also has internet (wifi) access. It features 1 double bed, 4 single beds, and 5 bunk beds and has 4 bathrooms. Bed linens and towels are included. Additionally, it offers a kitchen with a fridge, a freezer, an oven, a coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle / water-boiler, and a washing machine. The property has a balcony, a swimming pool, a garden, parking / a garage, and a terrace. This is a no-smoking property. Pets are not permitted. Once you have booked, your host will contact you to arrange your check in.

Recently built, spacious studio cabin at Butterfly Dance Development, twelve miles west of San Ramon towards Puntarenas, off the Pan American Highway. View of the Gulf and Puntarenas from adjoining road. Furnished, sleeps 2, twin beds. Kitchen with counter and stools; bath. Ideal Central Valley location to visit most of Costa Rica: 25-30 minutes to San Ramon and Puntarenas, 1 hour to Atenas, Jaco, 1 hour 15 minutes to San Jose, La Fortuna, 2 hours plus to Manuel Antonio National Park and most Pacific and Caribbean beaches. There are direct bus connections from San Ramon to La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano) and San Jose and many buses stop on the highway outside San Ramon going to Nicoya, Liberia, Guanacaste, and Nicaragua. Safe (electronic and manual gates), rustic, very secluded and rich in fauna (deer, coati, monkeys, and toucan). Hammock on patio to relax and enjoy the tranquility. The twin beds can be combined to form one king bed. Off-road vehicle or suv advised within the development and in Costa Rica during the rainy season. Rental vehicles are available from a number of companies at the San Jose Airport and near the airport where taxis are available. Guests are encouraged to do the proper research to obtain the best deals This is a perfect location for those looking for a Walden Pond type experience and want to be close to nature. Internet is available in nearby cities and cell phones are operative. Booked guests must arrive during daylight hours (preferably before 2 pm) especially if making bus connections. Detailed directions will be given to meet the owner at the highway entrance for check-in once the arrival time is confirmed. The entrance is on an easy direct route from the airport. Buses from Alajuela (5 minutes from the airport) to San Ramon and Puntarenas pass the entrance on the highway. There are taxis from the airport (expensive) to the entrance as well as from San Ramon. You can also meet the owner in San Ramon. Guests are asked to pay a refundable deposit of $100 for the use of the electronic gate and remote key, and keys to the manual gate and cabin. It is refunded once keys are returned. Coin wash laundry facilities available in most major cities and resorts. There are many grocery stores and fine dining facilities in San Ramon, Esparza, Palmares, and Puntarenas nearby. Puntarenas has two inexpensive ferries that cross the Gulf of Nicoya on which you can take your car. This is a country setting between San Ramon and Esparza. Rio Jesus (Jesus River) is on the other side of the highway. You can hike to it off the highway if you see a dirt road further down the highway on the right. There are two roads leading into the cabin, both have gates after the electronic gate. One has a manual lock, the other opens with a push. San Ramon is a large town with many grocery stores, restaurants, the Catholic Church of St. Raymond Nonnato. Esparza is a smaller town about 15 km west before Puntarenas. There is a nice grocery store there, Compre Bien.. Puntarenas has ferries that cross the Gulf on which you can take cars and has the restaurant Casa Almendro. Palmares is a town further east before San Ramon It has an Italian Restaurant in Zaragoza called La Lira.

The house is a 25min drive to Sn Ramon if you want to shop. It is also a 45 min drive from the beach and also a 4 km walk to the river. You’ll love my place because of It's very versatility. if you want to set up your tent and camp in the lawn you can do it. Want to have a barbeque fire up the grill. the store is right next door. you can be at the beach, river or the mall in less than an hour. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and pets.
