Terms and Conditions: Letting Period: Carpe Diem will be let for periods of not less than one week unless otherwise agreed. Availability is from 15:00 on the day of arrival, you must vacate by 10:00 on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed by us. Booking Deposit: The deposit is the initial payment to secure a booking. 30% of the total booking price should be paid provided more than 56 days remain before the beginning of the holiday. Balance: Equal to the letting cost minus any deposit received is to be paid at least 56 days before the first day of the holiday. If booking 56 days or less before the first day of the holiday the full price must be paid. Procedure: 1.Complete booking form and return with deposit cheque. 2. Receive booking confirmation. 3. Receive Balance Reminder 56+ days before the balance is due. 4.Pay the balance plus damage deposit amount. 5. Receive directions to Carpe Diem and contact information. Payment & Amendments: Payment can be by bankers draft or electronic transfer in Sterling or Euro. Payment with completed booking form to: Nicola Renals, full details on booking form. Amendments: If one of your party is unable to travel you may transfer that place to another person provided that you notify us in writing (email is sufficient) of the details of the change and confirm that the replacement person has also read and agreed these terms and conditions.Additional persons may be accepted as long as the total numbers do not exceed the capacity of Carpe Diem. The preceding paragraph must be complied with and the per-person additional charge must be paid at the time of notification. You do not need to notify us in advance if fewer persons are going to travel than booked on the form. Changes to the dates of your holiday may be accepted after the booking has been agreed. In such circumstances the holiday charge will not be less than that originally booked. An admin fee €60 applies. Cancellation : By You - Unless otherwise agreed by us the deposit and/or the balance is not refundable. You should ensure that all of your party have adequate holiday insurance. Please ensure you are protected against unlikely events that may prevent you from travelling. In the event that a cancellation by you can be re-booked a refund will be made. This will be a part payment and possibly a full refund less our administrative charge of €60.00. By Us - If we cancel your holiday because of a breach by you of our terms and conditions then no refund will be made. If Carpe Diem becomes unavailable alternative accommodation will, where possible, be offered. Should you not accept this alternative accommodation then a full refund will be made. Reporting Property Defects: In the unlikely event you experience any problems with the property or its facilities, the matter should be reported at the earliest opportunity to either myself, Nicola Renals or to our local agents, Graham and Mary Stewart. Service Provision: All services (internet access, electricity, water, household linen, bedding and beach towels) are included in the rental. An allowance of 300 units of electricity per week is included. (This should be sufficient for normal usage, however if more is required this can be provided at cost.) One linen change (bedding, towels and household linen) per week is included free of charge. Additional house cleaning can be arranged at cost. Explain what you think should be done to put things right. Our agent will investigate and respond to your complaint as quickly and fully as possible. You will normally receive a full response to your complaint, either in writing or over the telephone, within 3 working days. If it is not possible to respond within 3 working days, we will let you know why and explain when you can expect to hear from us. In circumstances where an error or failure to act on our part has caused you financial loss, you may be entitled to compensation. Please set out the details of the error or failure, why it led to a direct financial loss and a breakdown of the amount you wish to claim.
