The SpaceThis is a beautiful house in the heart of the Old Town Nicosia, hidden in a quiet and safe neighborhood, but just a stone's throw away from buzzling coffeeshops, restaurants, bars, galleries and workshops. It comprises of 2,5 stories, with the main bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor, living space and kitchen on the first floor, an attic and a beautiful roof top. The house is full of natural light with beautiful views of the Old Town Nicosia with its palm trees and minarets for a skyline. So, whether you need a space to relax, have a romantic holiday, or a space of inspiration to work, this is a great place to be!! The house is fully equipped and furnished for a comfortable stay. There is underfloor heating, wireless internet, cable TV and a sound system which you can use. The main bedroom has an A/C unit. The bedroom has a double bed, the bathroom includes a bathtub and the kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook if you like -there’s a small grocery shop near by and a fresh goods market every Wednesday and Saturday. Bed linen and towels are provided. The central bus station is 20 minutes away on foot and there is a bus stop to the central station 300 meters down the road. You can walk more or less everywhere in the old town - everything is 10-20 minutes walk. The central bus station is about 15 minutes walk but there's a bus station 5 minutes from the house. Also there are communal bikes near by. To get here from Larnaca Airport, you can get a taxi for about 50-60 euro or you can get the Kapnos Airport Shuttle for about 8 euros. Then it's a short taxi ride of about 8 more euro to the house.

The SpacePenthouse B7 lies on the 5th floor of an apartment building at the most premium location in Nicosia. Facing the Venetian Walls that surrounds the Old City of Nicosia, it is 2-minute walking distance away from pedestrian crossing to the south side of Nicosia. It has a panoramic view of the city, from its 75m2 terrace. It is the house I grew up in, which has been vacant for the last 5 years. It went under a 4-month renovation and refurbishing and decorated with eclectic taste. Rooms are available to rent in other listings, however you can reserve and keep the whole flat to yourself, up to 8 people. (January 2016: As a major investment and improvement, all of the 25 year old aluminium single glass windows and doors are replaced with brand new double-glazed PVC versions for better insulation and convenience in the flat) Guest Access***Improvements since 11/2014***: -All aged windows and sliding doors (17 pieces) are replaced between 2-12 January 2016 with PVC double-glazed versions for improved insulation. (01/2016) -Washer replaced with 9kg washer and 9kg dryer added (09/2015) -AC in 3 main bedrooms (08/2015) -Electrical quartz heaters in every room and larger one in the living room. )(12/2014) -Larger water tank (11/2014) -Instant water heater for the bathroom (11/2014) The guests arrives at a place where they can find Cyprus-related magazines and maps. In the kitchen, brand new 9kg washing machine, 9kg dryer, dishwasher, fridge, cutlery is at everyone's service. 2 common WC are available to guests and there is also an en-suite room. There is wireless internet, hairdryer, 3-piece set (hand, hair, body) of clean towels, ironing facilities. There is no smoking allowed indoors. The guests chill and enjoy a great view from the terrace, drinks, and may be a cigarette! There are a guidelines list for everyone, so guests find it very easy to adapt to the penthouse life. Guests have their own set of keys, and they can access only to their rooms, and also to all common areas. For those with a car, there is open car park free of charge. I also work closely with the far leading car rental company in Cyprus. You can pick your car from the airport (if you are landing at Ercan) and drive to the house in 25-minutes. Or you can just cross the pedestrian gate on food (if you come to Nicosia with the airport shuttle + taxi) in 2-minutes. And you can just rent it the next day or not. The pictures on the walls in the rooms and common areas are works of local artists and are actually exhibited to your taste. Interaction with GuestsI do not live at the premises. However, I welcome the guests, introduce them to the flat and amenities and tips on how to enjoy Nicosia like a local (or tourist). I am on call 24/7 for any emergency. Also, I can respond to urgent needs in a very short time. The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is a calm, but lively place, surrounded by eucalyptus and other trees. The building is the 2nd highest building in the neighbourhood, so the view of the mountains on one side, and the city on the other side is just amazing. The apartment building is old and the entrance to the building needs maintenance; however, the flat is completely renovated and is as seen on the photos. There is a lift/elevator in the building which is monthly serviced. Getting AroundGetting here: From Ercan Airport: a- Airport Shuttle (KIBHAS) can take you to Kyrenia Gate. Penthouse B7 is only 5 minutes away on foot b- Taxi costs around €25 c- Sun Rent-a-car, the leading car rental company has a station at the airport. If you let me know at least 5 days prior to your arrival, a car suited to your needs can be arranged. Daily price is €27-€28. Minimum rental is 3 days. From Larnaca Airport: a- Kapnos Airport Shuttle has a service to their station in Nicosia (€8). Taxi from there to Ledra Palace gate costs about €10. You will have to cross the border on foot, which is only 8-10 minutes. No visa is necessary while crossing to the northern part. If you desire, you can also hire a car from the same company mentioned above (Sun Rent-a-car) when you cross at working hours (8.30am- 5pm). Their Nicosia branch is situated only 10 minutes walking distance from Penthouse B7. Around the flat: Another bonus of the flat is that it is only 5-minutes walking distance away from public transport area. Hence, if you choose to not rent a car, you can have access to basically everywhere. However, one should consider that in Cyprus, the web of public transport is not very sophisticated :) Other Things to NoteNightlife district is very close to the building. If you fancy locally popular bands, or restaurants, you do not have to have the toughest footwear to get there. Only in 10 minutes after dressing up, you can enjoy a quality meal at a restaurant or dance to rock or house tunes, or calmly enjoy a good drink at a cosy pub. Make sure you check out the 'Guidebook' below to see all the sighseeing and nightlife venues and that I am sincere when I say that the flat is located on a prime spot :) I should also tell you that, although this house has been newly renovated, it carries a little bit of old apartments' problems. Water pressure is not very strong. Although, I lived there for 22 years, and had no problems with it. The building, with the push of the executive board, of which I am a member of, is under an ongoing refurbishment. Maintenance of the building was kind of abandoned for 5 years, but with the help of the executive board and I, now it's getting the treatment that it deserves and getting continuously improved.

The SpaceThe apartment is in the heart of the city, 15' walk from the center of the town. It's big, with two bathrooms, great view, wireless internet, parking. There is a piano, a guitar, drums in the house. There is a big balcony from one side to the other. There's is a really nice park 3 minutes walk from here, which is 10km long. You can walk towards the center of town from there, where you can rent a public bicycle. The neighborhood is nice, it has some really beautiful old houses which were renovated recently. There are also buses passing very close to the apartment that go directly to the city center. It's on a main road so it won't be very quiet unfortunately. There is a supermarket close by. Under my apartment there is a computer shop, a DVD shop and a pharmacy. Opposite there is a sports shop, it sells gym equipment and accessories. Guest AccessThe guest can have access to the whole house except the main bedroom which is my room. The bathroom is partly shared, I try to use the second toilet and shower, but sometimes I need to use the main. They can use the kitchen and the living room. Interaction with GuestsSometimes I interact a lot with the guest and sometimes not that much. It depends on my schedule and whether the guest wishes to do that, especially if we share some common interests. I'm always present during the guest's stay, that's where I live. The NeighborhoodMy neighborhood is very beautiful, quiet and has a nice big park along the riverbed. There are a few art schools around (art, literature, dance, music etc) and a few cultural events take place there. It has some beautiful restored old buildings and a few places for having coffee, beer or food. Getting AroundThere is a bus that passes a few meters from the apartment which goes straight to the city center.

The SpaceFully furnished house with w/machine, all the major appliances, a/c c/heating, internet access. A dream house in a really special and relaxing neighborhood. There are cafes, bars, museums and generally almost anything within walking distance. I'm a person that likes making guests feel like they're at home so i don't bother them everyday!!!! you will enjoy your stay.

The SpaceI ‘m renting a room in my lovely house in Nicosia. The available room along with the bathroom are the only rooms located on the ground floor, giving guests all the privacy they need. The house comprises of 2,5 stories, with the bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, living space and kitchen on the first floor, an attic and the best roof top in town. The house is abundant with natural light and each window reveals amazing views of the Old Town Nicosia. It is situated right in the center of Nicosia and in the heart of the old town and is in short walking distance from bars, clubs, galleries and workshops, restaurants and shopping areas. The central bus station is 20 minutes away on foot. There are also public bikes to use for free, 5-10 minutes’ walk from the house. The bedroom has a large double bed, the bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and the kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook if you like -there’s a grocery shop near by. I ll be staying on the attick (2 floors above the bedroom) and will be mostly out so you 'll have all the privacy you 'll need! There is wireless internet and a sound system which you can use. The SpaceBeautiful, fully-renovated, old-style apartment in the heart of the old town of Nicosia. Location: At the end of Ledra street, in the artsy center, on the second floor of a unique 1920's building, the apartment overlooks the green line with stunning views of the surrounding area. The old town is the center for shops, historic buildings, coffee-shops, nightlife, restaurants and more. The check-point for passing into the north of the island is a 2 minute walk from your front door. Traveling by foot, bus or bicycle from here is ideal. The main bus station for traveling across the island is a five min walk away. Description: Very cozy, spacious, open plan apartment, with one bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, toilet and shower. Huge french windows lead out to two small balconies with views. Lots of natural light, wooden flooring, high ceilings, fireplace and much character. Air-conditioning in the main room and ceiling fans throughout. During your stay you will be provided with clean sheets and towels, coffee&tea and internet is accessible from the coffee-shop exactly beneath the apartment. Suitable for couples or for groups of up to three people.

The SpaceThe first renovation dates back to 1894, so the house is actually much older and it has been listed as a monument under the preserved buildings for its historical and architectural significance. It is quite spacious and also minimal regarding furniture and object arrangements. It includes furniture pieces from designers such as Nedo, J. Bini, A.G. Fronzoni, G. Paretti, M. Mattegot. Guests can enjoy peacefully art works by local artists such as like Andreas Nicolaou, Andreas Karayian, Nicolas Panayi as well as international ones such as Francesca Woodman and Masahisa Fukase. The backyard follows the tradition of older local architecture, a haven during the hotter days, as one can enjoy the peace and shade under mature palm trees and green local flowers and herbs. Guest AccessAll rooms: kitchen, lounge, yard, bedrooms, messazine, bathroom Interaction with GuestsMy gallery is located at 5 minutes distance from the house and as I am mainly out, there will be minimal interaction. I'm normally back in the house around 15:00, 6:30 and 10:00 Due to workload our interaction may be scarce and limited, however I will be happy to answer enquiries. The NeighborhoodTrypiotis church landmarks the area around the house, a back aisle to the much busier Ledras and Onasagorou streets, full of shops, cafes, bistros, bars and restaurants. Laiki Geitonia is around the corner if you want to enjoy traditional food and souvenirs and at the old town's circumference you can marvel the Venetians architectural achievement - the robust city walls. It does not get any more central than where this house is, however, it is peaceful and quiet as it is on a less-busy street. At nights and especially in the weekends the neighborhood gets more lively and it is one of the best places to be with many options available within walking distance. Although it is in the heart of the city it is located on a quiet narrow street across from Trypiotis church, close to many shops and easy access even on foot to most central places and services. Getting AroundConvenient access to all kinds of public transport and walking distance from everything in the center, bars, clubs, restaurants and museums and even close to Hamam Omerye. Walking around should be your first option, as everything is within reach without effort, including shopping, eating out, clubbing etc. The area is well-serviced by public transportation and taxi for longer distances or out of the city destinations. Other Things to NoteThe house is equipped two beds, one single one double, both from A. G. Fronzoni and a spacious sofa that a third or forth person can sleep. A 3 Series BMW could be available during your stay upon agreement. A private parking from the municipality in adjacent to the house.

The SpaceThe first renovation dates back to 1894, so the house is actually much older and it has been listed as a monument under the preserved buildings for its historical and architectural significance. It is spacious and also minimal regarding furniture and object arrangements. It includes furniture pieces from designers such as Nedo, J. Bini, A.G. Fronzoni, G. Paretti, M. Mattegot. Guests can enjoy peacefully art works by local artists such as like Andreas Nicolaou, Andreas Karayian, Nicolas Panayi as well as international ones such as Francesca Woodman and Masahisa Fukase. The backyard follows the tradition of older local architecture, a haven during the hotter days, as one can enjoy the peace and shade under mature palm trees and green local flowers and herbs. The NeighborhoodTrypiotis church landmarks the area around the house, a back aisle to the much busier Ledras and Onasagorou streets, full of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Laiki Geitonia is around the corner if you want to enjoy traditional food and souvenirs and at the old town's circumference you can marvel the Venetians architectural achievement - the robust city walls. It does not get any more central than where this house is, however, it is peaceful and quiet as it is on a less-busy street. At nights and especially in the weekends the neighborhood gets more lively and it is one of the best places to be with many options available within walking distance. Although it is in the heart of the city it is located on a quiet narrow street across from Trypiotis church, close to many shops and easy access even on foot to most central places and services. Getting AroundConvenient access to all kinds of public transport and walking distance from everything in the center, bars clubs restaurants and museums and even close to Hamam Omerye. Walking around should be your first option, as everything is within reach without effort, including shopping, eating out, clubbing etc. The area is well-serviced by public transportation for longer distances or out of the city destinations. You can always visit some sites and museums, or simply enjoy a picnic beneath the Walls. Other Things to NoteThe house is equipped two (2) beds, one single one double and a spacious sofa that a third or forth person can sleep. There is an airport shuttle from the airport into Nicosia depending on your time of arrival.

The SpaceThe double room is offered by friendly young couple with their 9 year old child and their cat Ashquito. The apartment is 135 m2,with two wc. The flat is located in the North (Turkish) part of Nicosia, just 20 mins walk from the old city and the Ledra Palace check point (the nearest beach is in Kyrenia which is about 20 mins drive away). From Ercan Airport 20 mins by car and 5 mins walk to main bus station of north Nicosia (Airport shuttle KIBHAS will bring you to Nicosia TERMINAL - the main bus station which is less then 5 mins away from our place). Families welcome, if you have a kid we can arrange a place without extra charge. Unfortunately since we are both working people, we cannot serve breakfast. However you are welcome to use our kitchen as long as you leave everything clean. You can also put your staff in our fridge. You are also welcome to make yourself tea and coffee anytime you wish. Please note that the room is ideal for all seasons except the summer (we have central heating but no air condition). Also note that the neighborhood can get quite noisy sometimes, especially the sounds of roosters and other poultry animals that a neighbor is keeping can wake you up :) so it is a good idea to bring your earplugs! We'll be happy to give you ideas about organizing your trip. If you would like to hire a car (there is plenty of parking space in front of our building), our place would be perfect. You can use it as 'home' and visit other cities knowing that you will come back to a nice and comfortable place to rest and relax. Other Things to NoteBathroom.. Please turn on the shower button next to the light on the wall. There is a sticker written shower on it. Please note that the hot water do not come immediately but in 2-3 mins. We'll give you 2 keys, one for the house one for the building. The one for our flat will be the KALE one and you need to turn the key clockwise in order to open the door. You're welcome to give it a try beforehand.

The SpaceThis cosy room with large wardrobe and window facing south of Nicosia is in Penthouse B7, which lies on the 5th floor of an apartment at the most premium location in Nicosia. Facing the Venetian Walls that surrounds the Old City of Nicosia, it is 2-minute walking distance away from pedestrian crossing to the south side of Nicosia. It has a panoramic view of the city, from its 75m2 terrace. It is the house I grew up in, which has been vacant for the last 5 years. It went under a 4-month renovation and refurbishing and decorated with eclectic taste. (January 2016: As a major investment and improvement, all of the 25 year old aluminium single glass windows and doors are replaced with brand new double-glazed PVC versions for better insulation and convenience in the flat) (August 2015: A-class air conditioners are installed in the bedrooms) Guest AccessThe guests at this cozy room can benefit the comfort of a large room, as a double or two single beds, with large wardrobe space. One bathroom with toilet and another WC is shared with other guests, if there stays any other during your stay. Guests arrive at a place where they can find Cyprus-related magazines and maps. In the kitchen, brand new washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, cutlery is at everyone's service. There is wireless internet, hairdryer, 3-piece set (hand, hair, body) of clean towels, ironing facilities. There is no smoking allowed indoors. The guests chill and enjoy a great view from the terrace, drinks, and may be a cigarette! There are a guidelines list for everyone, so guests find it very easy to adapt to the penthouse life. Guests have their own set of keys, and they can access only to their rooms, and also to all common areas. For those with a car, there is open car park free of charge. I also work closely with the far leading car rental company in Cyprus. You can pick your car from the airport (if you are landing at Ercan) and drive to the house in 25-minutes. Or you can just cross the pedestrian gate on food (if you come to Nicosia with the airport shuttle + taxi) in 2-minutes. And you can just rent it the next day or not. The pictures on the walls in the rooms and common areas are works of local artists and are actually exhibited to your taste. Interaction with GuestsI do not live at the premise. The building is the 2nd highest building in the neighbourhood, so the view of the mountains on one side, and the city on the other side is just amazing. From this cozy room window, you can view the city and see south of Cyprus. It faces towards Ledra Palace Hotel (and checkpoint). Getting AroundGetting here: From Ercan Airport: a- Airport Shuttle (KIBHAS) can take you to Kyrenia Gate. Penthouse B7 is only 5 minutes away on foot b- Taxi costs around €20-€25 c- Sun Rent-a-car, the leading car rental company has a station at the airport. If you let me know at least 5 days prior to your arrival, a car suited to your needs can be arranged. Daily price is €27-€28. Minimum rental is 3 days. From Larnaca Airport: a- Kapnos Airport Shuttle has a service to their station in Nicosia (€8). Taxi from there to Ledra Palace gate costs about €10. You will have to cross the border on foot, which is only 8-10 minutes. No visa is necessary while crossing to the northern part. If you desire, you can also hire a car from the same company mentioned above (Sun Rent-a-car) when you cross at working hours (8.30am- 5pm). Their Nicosia branch is situated only 10 minutes walking distance from Penthouse B7. Around the flat: Another bonus of the flat is that it is only 5-minutes walking distance away from public transport area. Hence, if you choose to not rent a car, you can have access to basically everywhere. However, one should consider that in Cyprus, the web of public transport is not very sophisticated :) Other Things to NoteNightlife district is very close to the building. If you fancy a locally popular bands, or restaurants, you do not have to have the toughest footwear to get there. Only in 10 minutes after dressing up, you can enjoy a quality meal at a restaurant or dance to rock tunes, or calmly enjoy a good drink at a cozy pub. The SpaceThe small house is in excellent condition and will be thoroughly cleaned before delivering to guests. There is a queen size beds, sleeps 2. One main Air-conditioner. There is a nice breeze coming in at night when windows are open. It is perfect if you are visiting Nicosia as it is quite close to the city center and many amenities are close. Perfect for short-stay business people, small families and coastal holidaymakers who want a comfortable place to stay while visiting the island's capital. The apartment has three beds: one double-bed, a double sofa-bed in a smaller room and a single, foldable bed. It can comfortably host a couple, a small family, two couples or even two business people. Depending on your sleeping plan, a maximum of five people can stay in the apartment. Prices are variable depending on the duration of your stay. Fully air-conditioned and heated with secured parking and free, high-speed wifi and cable TV. Fully equipped kitchen, perfect for self-catering. High-quality appliances, including iron, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. Panoramic views from 6th floor balcony. The location could not be more ideal. Just two minutes' walk from the historical old town, museums, the Ledra street checkpoint and the major bus station: you have the entire city on your doorstep. The entire area plays host to countless bars, restaurants and the city's financial district and government buildings. There's a mini-market across the street and a major supermarket just a few minutes' walk away. The apartment itself is on the sixth floor, with triple-glazed windows for optimised sound and temperature insulation. The secured parking is on a first-come, first-served basis and the accommodation is not liable if there is no parking available or for any damages incurred while the car is in the parking area. Securing a parking space is very easy outside business hours but it can be a little chaotic during the day. Still, there is ample, street-side and paid parking within walking distance (50m in any direction of the property) until a space becomes available. Interaction with GuestsIf a guest arrives between 8am-10.30pm, I am at the apartment to welcome guests (appointment needed). If arrival is outside hours, a key can be left in a safe box next to the door. The NeighborhoodThe Chanteclair area is central, convenient and quiet. On the street where you are staying, you can find the capital's best bookshop, a design store, a pharmacy/chemist (drugstore), several cafés and a superb wine bar. You are only seconds away from every type of eatery you can imagine -- and I haven't even mentioned the historic old town, which is just a few minutes' walk away. The apartment is 400m from the central bus station to take you to all the major cities and almost anywhere else on the island. You are a few minutes walk from the AG Leventis art gallery, the Cyprus Archaeological Museum and the lovely Municipal Gardens. There are several supermarkets in walking distance, but one special highlight is the selection of Asian markets (everything from India eastwards -- incl. Sri Lanka, Philippines, Bangladesh) right near the central bus station (Rigainis St). All shops are open until at least 1900 and offer a wide selection of special items imported to serve the needs of homesick migrant workers. With the recent addition of a grocer offering fresh fruit and vegetables, the neighbourhood is a secret treat for food adventurers. The SpaceThe apartment is very large (220 square metres) yet cosy with luxurious balcony and comfortable sofas. High quality mattresses on the 2 double beds and a large comfortable sofa for the 5th guest can be made into a great sleeping area. Getting AroundThe bus stop is just 2 minutes away which connects to the extensive bus network within Nicosia. If you have a car there are 2 parking spaces available in secured basement parking underneath the apartment. Taxis are also pretty cheap in Nicosia and will be there within 10 minutes of a phone call. Nicosia is the last divided capital city in the world, and as such has a rich cultural tapestry. Being in the middle of the Island, it is just 1 Hour drive North to the ancient harbour town of Kyrenia, 1 Hour south to the modern cultural resort of Limassol, 1 Hour East to the party town and beach resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras, plus 1.5 hours West to the ancient ex capital of Paphos! Of course Nicosia itself offers a huge variety of sights, shops, bars and of course coffeeshops (Cypriots love coffee!), so your choice of activity is limited only by your imagination!
