As the owner am happy to present Mi Playa to you, due to its superiority, comfort and detailed attention. The place looks new thanks to a wonderful helpful house keeper who keeps the house and its sorroundings. ABOUT GALAPAGOS The archipelago has two seasons; the hot-rainy season between december and may. Strong short tropical showers normally during the night, eventually during the day too. Normally after the rain the sun comes out strong again. February, March and April are the hottest moths of the year. The 'Garua' season between june and november are commonly overcast, sometimes islands are covered in a fine mist specially during the early hours of the day, the mist eventually clears up and then sun shines out which can last for days and sometimes weeks. Coolest months of the year will be september, october. Conditions of the sea will fallow the same pattern of the seasons, during the hot months of the year the winds cease and we have very calm ocean conditions perfect for traveling between islands. From june to october ocean can be a bit rough making it more difficult to travel between islands. Touristic activity never stops really and travelers take the choppy waters as adventure, normally having a lot of tales to tell... Guest AccessHOW TO GET HERE Guest first have to make it to Guayaquil City, from there there are up to 5 daily flights that bring people to Galapagos. Baltra Island is where the main airport of the islands works, from here you could take an internal short flight (30 minutes) to get to Isabela. Round trip ticket is around $ 250.00 per person. Flights need to be arranged and reserved with time, they are almost always full, specially in high season which is between November and August. You could also come by speed boat, available daily from Santa Cruz Island at $ 60.00 round trip. The house is located at exact 5 or 2 minutes taxi ride from the airport or from the main dock where the speed boats from Santa Cruz arrive. Interaction with GuestsI personally take care of reservations, inquiries and information needed to make things clear until guests are 100% sure of what they want to do. Once on the island, the house keeper welcomes guest either at airport or pier. He takes them to the house and gives them a tour to show the town around. If required I am available to guide local tours in Isabela, I am certified naturalist guide with vast experience on the islands. The NeighborhoodThe house is right in a small fishing village, very quite all the time. If you want to go out there are a couple of bars around and a salsa place. You can access all places just by walking. If you are a family with small kids, the bars and salsa place are far enough so you don´t get any of the noise they make. Getting AroundThere is no traffic on this town, most people moves around on bikes and also walking. There are cars (normally trucks) that can be used as taxis. Other Things to NoteEXTRA INFO ABOUT THNGS YOU COULD DO HERE There is a variety of daily tour activities offered in town, all of them worth doing!… prices for tours range between 40-90. You would normally be part of a tour that will include a guide. You could also arrange your own group and hire a guide to take you around.

The SpaceA home born of love is now so much more than a beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of Darwin’s inspiration. It’s a getaway from everything outside, a place for thought; a home in Eden. TAXES ARE EXCLUDED, 22% STILL DUE AFTER A RESERVATION HAS BEEN MADE. Children from 5 years on, must pay an extra bed, which means $30.00+22%. Guest AccessRestaurant, Bar, Breakfast in the Room, Library Interaction with GuestsWe offer the following services: Room Service, Tour Desk, Laundry, Ironing Service, Meeting/Banquet Facilities, Fax/Photocopying The NeighborhoodThere’s a number of ways to reach the Galapagos islands, and a couple more to La Casa de Marita that serve as a remarkable preamble to the beauty you’ll find in Isabela. Regular flights from either LAN, TAME and AEROGAL airlines are available into Baltra Island, where the archipelago’s main airport is located. From there, you may choose to come by boat or small plane, and although both experiences are highly recommended as they each present a unique view of the Galapagos, perhaps flying into Isabela for the first time is not only quicker and slightly easier, but offers an incomparable bird’s eye view of the island complex itself. If you choose to fly, seek out the EMETEBE airline’s post in Baltra airport. There are flights that depart regularly into Isabela, and the trip takes roughly about 25 minutes. Getting AroundGetting to Isabela by boat is a wonderful experience in itself. From the Baltra airport, take the bus to the ferries that cross into Puerto Ayora and, from there, take a speedboat, or “fibra” as they’re called locally, into Isabela. A 3 hour journey awaits as several islands from the archipelago pass by over the turquoise waters where pirates once sailed for shelter, and coastal birds swoop to hunt the schools of fish that swim beneath. Other Things to Note We also recommend that you bring mosquito repellent, walking or trekking shoes, pants, shorts, a bathing suit, and any other equipment you may want to fully take advantage of the Galapagos experience. Snorkels, cameras, underwater enclosures, and binoculars are good ideas. And, although books are always welcome, the surroundings are such that maybe you’ll write one while you’re here.

Other Things to NoteWe also recommend that you bring mosquito repellent, walking or trekking shoes, pants, shorts, a bathing suit, and any other equipment you may want to fully take advantage of the Galapagos experience. Snorkels, cameras, underwater enclosures, and binoculars are good ideas. And, although books are always welcome, the surroundings are such that maybe you’ll write one while you’re here.
