Growing up a few miles from Blarney Castle in Ireland and having kissed on many occasions the "Blarney stone", I have been bestowed the gift of speech as per the folklore, but I can also appreciate peoples privacy. I live on site, so I am always available to help when required. The NeighborhoodThe hotel is located in a good area of Blackpool and with in close walking distance to the above mentioned attractions , there are several cafes, fish and chip shops and gift shops on the street . A convenient store just across the road from the hotel , The Winter Gardens where you can catch a show or concert or wonder around the antiques market a shopping center all less then 5 minute walk Getting Aroundgetting around not a problem catch a bus on the street and visit fleetwood market & port or in the opposite direction go to the beautiful Lytham St,Annes with its many restaurants/bars and small boutique style shops . you are only five minute walk from the central bus station and ten minutes from the train station where you can access trains to London,Lake District,Manchester,Liverpool and Scotland .     Guest AccessGuests are able to use the bathroom and towels are provided. All of the kitchen utensils. If I am at work they are more than welcome to use my living room. I don't provide food, however there is space your your own in the fridge. Also I have a parking pass for free town centre parking. Interaction with GuestsI will be at work most week days and home at night and on the weekends. I am happy to chat and get to know my guest's and I am also happy to leave you alone if that's what you prefer. It's whatever makes you feel comfortable. Getting AroundTrain station 5 mins walk at the end of the street. Bus stop approx 10 houses away. Trams on the promenade are approx 10 mins away. Town centre shopping is a short walk 5/8 min walk. Other Things to NotePlease don't ask me to hold my room without booking. I have tried to be nice and hold for people who have not had their payments ready and then I have been let down and lost other potential bookings. This way its easier all round. Many thanks.

    The SpaceI've got a semi detached house in Blackpool, just by Stanley Park. I have room for two people to stay / rent. There is a 2nd bedroom or a downstairs room can used (but no bed in either at the moment). You'll have use of one bathroom and the kitchen. The house is very tidy and clean. It's also had the recent benefit of renovation work, and the new insulation. Being by the park, you will find it's quiet and peaceful. The t own centre is approx 1.5 miles away. The are many shops, restaurants or takeaways on nearby Whitegate Drive, as well as plenty of local pubs. A bus route into town is available, although it's a pleasant walk too. Living by Stanley Park is the most desirable place in Blackpool. This listing is NON SMOKING AND NOT A PARTY ZONE :) thanks. Any questions, please just ask.

Popular with guests on courses at Fleetwood Nautical College which is a short journey by car or take the No.14 bus, this will take you to the Nautical College. There is off street parking directly in front of the house. I have a senior Black Labrador who is very friendly and loves attention. It's a 10 minute journey into Blackpool by car or approx. 10/15 mins by bus. The No. 7 bus will take you to Blackpool airport, Lytham and St Annes. Approx. 1 hour journey. During daylight hours I suggest you use the No.14 bus to Blackpool. If using the bus at night from Blackpool I suggest you use the No. 9 bus. Fleetwood Nautical College is a 10 minute journey by car. The No.14 bus will take you to the Nautical College. For Victoria Hospital take the No. 8 bus. Currently, there a diversionary route due to a road closure. The bus fare into Blackpool is currently £2.10. Alternatively you can purchase a 3/7 day travel ticket either on the bus or via the Blackpool Transport website. The south of the Lake District is approx. 1 hours drive where you will see some beautiful scenery, especially when the weather is nice. If you enjoy walking it's an ideal place to visit. A 10 minute journey into Blackpool by car or approx 10/15 mins by bus. Parking in Blackpool town is free on the road in most places after 6pm. I can advise you of a reasonably priced car park that is 2 minutes walk into the town. Please ask for details when you arrive. There's a few different routes to take you to your destination via bus. The local bus service takes you to Blackpool, Victoria Hospital, Thornton, Cleveleys or Fleetwood and these are a short walk from my house. During daylight hours I suggest you use the No.14 bus to and from Blackpool. If using the bus at night I suggest you use the No. 9 bus from Blackpool. The no. 7 bus will take you to Lytham/St. Annes.
