The SpaceA charming small block of four apartments in the very heart of Bournemouth, just a short walk to the beach or shops. The farthings are charming and each of the apartments has their own charm and character, they are fitted out to a high standard with quality fittings and furnishings. Just perfect for a family or couples sharing, you can almost fall out of bed onto the beach. No groups please. This First Floor apartment has its own front door. There are two bedrooms, both doubles. One with an en suite bathroom and a separate shower room off the Hall. This apartment can sleep four in comfort. The main bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has a double bed. There is also a sofa bed in the sitting room but we dont provide bedding. We have private parking for each apartment, one car only and no vans or campers please as we dont have the space. We offer peace and tranquillity so this is not a place for noise. Bournemouth and Dorset are amazing, the coast is stunning with mile after mile of sandy beaches, bays and clear water. Further West is the Jurassic coast with caves, rocky cliffs and amazing coastal walks. Inland the countryside is varied with hills and pasture sprinkled with little villages and enticing market towns. Bournemouth itself offers something for everyone, coffee shops, international dining and a club life awakens at night like wellie boots on a wet day. This is an amazing place to stay, enjoy and take away in your heart. Guest AccessThe whole apartment is yours, you will have no need for anything else and nothing is shared. Every apartment has its own front door and parking space. Interaction with GuestsWe offer private self contained apartments, each with their own front doors. We try to say hello during your stay, check you are happy and offer any helpful advice. The NeighborhoodWe are so central and within walking distance of everything, beach, pier, cliff top, shops, restaurants, parks, entertainment, BIC, Pavilion, ice cream, gardens, cinema and life. Yet tucked away in a small corner. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop 30 meters away, the railway station is a 15 minute walk and the airport is a few miles to the north. There are cliff lifts close by.

The SpaceLovely large sunny bedroom within detached house with secluded garden. The bedroom has storage and hang rails for clothes. Day bed pulls out to become a comfortable double bed with memory foam mattress and so sleeps one or two persons. Pleasant, well maintained bathroom and separate shower room. Close to Bournemouth Town Centre - 30 minute stroll through the idyllic Bournemouth Gardens or the bus stop is across the street with frequent service taking just 10 minutes into Bournemouth Centre or 15mins into Poole Centre. Open top bus tours also available. Car/Taxi is a 5-7 minute ride to Bournemouth town centre where there is a vast array of lovely restaurants, shops & boutiques, bars, cinema’s, theatres and childrens activities. We are just a short 10 Minute walk from Branksome train station! WiFi is included in your stay. Free parking on the road. Hengistbury Head offer stunning walks and great views of the entire coast. Poole Quay and Poole Harbourside are also just a 10 minute drive or short bus/ train journey away with fascinating quirky shops, fabulous boats and Sunseekers. As well as an endless amount of bars and restaurants to choose from. Getting AroundBranksome Railway Station is less that 1mile walk away. Bournemouth town centre is a short bus ride away, we are located very near a bus stop and it is serviced by frequent buses, walking to the town centre can be marvelous if you go along the sea front, about 15 - 20 minutes or 10 jogging! we are not far from The New Forest, The Isle of Purbeck, The Isle of Wight, Poole Quay (7 miles) the famous Sandbanks peninsula etc...our beach is Boscombe beach, it is also a surfer's beach where you can also rent paddle boards and all manner of sporty things. We are also very conscious that this is your holiday and will respect your privacy. The NeighborhoodWe live in the Bournemouth area called Boscombe. It is well served by shops and there is a market twice a week. Chaplin's Bar is a great place to visit if you like live music and they also serve food. Pretty newly refurbished Boscombe Pier, now with twinkly musical xylophones installed. A cool restaurant, one on the beach called Urban Reef is really good, a great atmosphere as well as excellent food and drinks. There are many more Restaurants and venues we will be happy to tell you about on arrival if you need them. Bournemouth town centre has a wonderful garden that runs from the sea right up to the north to coy pond, as you get further from the sea it becomes less 'manicured' and more natural, and a wonderful place for a picnic on a sunny day. The little stream called The Bourne runs through here, this is the river after which the town is named. Getting AroundWe are very close to Bournemouth University Campus - We are located conveniently between two railway stations, and Hurn Airport is only 4.5 miles away, so about 11 minutes by car! - YES, we have an International Airport!!! Bournemouth and Christchurch stations. The main Bus station - Terminus - is located at Bournemouth station as well. There is even a direct bus service to Bournemouth Airport. Yes we do have an airport! A 7 minute walk takes you to our amazing clean and sandy beach. Many buses can be found a one minute walk away from our house. If you are driving, there is plenty of free parking near the house. Town centre for Bournemouth a very short 10 minutes bus ride and town centre Christchurch 15 minutes by bus. The New Forest is just on our doorstep, by car it is 15 minutes. The Isle of Purbeck can be reached easily by car ferry from Sandbanks which is 10 minutes away. The Isle of Wight can be reached easily from beautiful Lymington at 20 minutes away. We are an ideal base for travelling to many beauty spots that are nearby. If you are travelling to France by Ferry from Poole then we are ideally placed as Poole is only 15 minutes away from us by car or taxi. You can feel free to use the laundry machines and tumble drier as well if you need. If you need work space we have quite office room with desktop, printer and normal office supplies. Wi-Fi access covering the whole property and back garden. We have English & German Sat TV From the backyard you can find BBQ area with gas grill and small fireplace for bonfires. We also have outdoor sauna located on our backyard. We can provide off road parking for your car or motorbike. Guest AccessWe will give you key for your room and for the house. So you can come and go as you please with 24\7 access. Interaction with GuestsWe are in walking distance from the rail / bus station. But if you have heavy luggage etc. we can pick you up as well that’s not a problem. The Space"Reef Edge" is a fabulous apartment is 100 yards from the beach with its golden sands and large array of watersports. The apartment is a 5 minute walk to the local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and is ideal for families, couples and professionals. Fabulous modern apartment which is located just approximately one hundred yards from the sandy beaches, shops and cafés and Boscombe Pier. The sea off Boscombe Pier is perfect for early morning swimming, surf lessons and body boarding. There are plenty of watersports to choose from in Bournemouth and neighbouring Poole, even if you're a beginner. Boscombe Pier is an en-route stop for the summer time open top buses running between Hengistbury Head, Bournemouth and Alum Chine. The seasonal Land Train also runs along the Promenade underneath the cliffs to Bournemouth and beyond. You may stroll all the way if you wish and there is a convenient lift half way between the two piers at East Cliff. Bournemouth is famous for its Chines and Boscombe has it's very own with woodland walks where you may watch out for local wildlife. Alum Chine beach is far quieter than the beaches closer to Bournemouth town centre although is equally as sandy and inviting. Getting AroundIf you haven't got a car no worries, Bournemouth has an excellent bus service with buses running extremely frequently and late into the night! NEAREST BUS STOPS: Location: Alumhurst Rd (one road over from Alum Chine Beach House) The Yellow Bus number 24 will take you through Westbourne, Bournemouth town centre, Boscombe, Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Christchurch and finishes in Burton. Mostly, our home is very quiet at night, as we think it's only fair to other guests to keep noise down after 10pm and before 8am, so that guests get a good rest as there is little noise or traffic. It's important to us to mention that we are a vegan/ vegetarian/no alcohol/no smoking, non-partying mindful household and therefore alcoholic drinks, smoking or cooked food are not permitted in the bedrooms. We have several cats and this is their home, too - if you enjoy the therapeutic value of beautiful, gentle cats, then this place is for you, meouw and welcome! Some of our guests are allergic so you need to decide if this home is right for you, although we are very particular about cleanliness and many of our guests are fine here despite their allergies but we have allergy tablets in store just in case. Our cancellation modus is set to moderate, this means that if you cancel less than 5 days inc before your arrival date, please note you are not eligible for a full refund. On or a few days before your arrival day, you will need to let us know your ARRIVAL TIME please, and also any last minute changes via text message or call so we can be at home to accommodate you. Since we don't operate quite like a hotel, for various reasons you will not be able to turn up randomly. If you don't mind, please have a set arrival time ready for us or arrange to pick up a key with us in advance, as we want to avoid you not being able to get access and losing some of your holiday time. If you are booking one of our rooms that sleeps 4, please make sure that the sleeping arrangements within your group are discussed with us beforehand, i.e. you need to disclose who is in your party well in advance so we can prepare the rooms accordingly. This is to figure out who sleeps where as we have two comfy double pull out beds in the Garden Room and in the Sea View room there is a full King size bed and a double pull out chaise similar to a futon. An extra single bed or toddler bed can be added to either room if needed and available, but you must please ask before you arrive and state how many people in your party/what ages. We may not be able to guarantee we can accommodate you if this is not clearly discussed beforehand. Also, we serve a free and generous veggie breakfast including free coffee, tea, toast, cereals, juice etc etc. Guests say it's an amazing spread and also amazing that we do go through such lengths as we've heard that lots of hosts don't bother but we like to host and give you a good start to the day which also saves you a lot of money! You can supplement it with your own veggie items if you wish, but if for some reason our breakfast doesn't suit you, then please let us know in advance if you prefer to eat breakfast elsewhere. Normally in mornings (if the hens have laid some eggs) you can find coffee and tea accompanied by help yourself breakfast from the kitchen. You can feel free to use the laundry machines and tumble drier as well if you need. If you need work space we have quite office room with desktop, printer and normal office supplies. The SpaceHello and thank you for taking the time to look at my apartment, Life's A Beach in Bournemouth. Please note I do not accept Hen or Stag parties, pets or groups that are all aged 21 years or under. This is a modern, light and very spacious first floor apartment with lift access just a 5 minute stroll from the award winning, blue flag beaches of Southbourne, Boscombe and Bournemouth. The clifftop and pathway down to the beach are just at the end of the street. The property is situated on a very quiet, tree lined street yet the beach and other facilities such as shops, cafes and bars are just moments away. The apartment comprises of a large, sunny and airy open plan living room leading onto the kitchen diner. The lounge has double aspect windows including a bay window. The windows have both blinds and blackout curtains. There are 3 large comfortable sofas (1 is a double metal action sofa bed) surrounding a large coffee table. There are additional chairs if more seating is needed. There is a 50inch Smart LED TV with Freeview HD, a DVD player and a Nintendo Wii with games and controllers. Can watch Netflix and Amazon prime video plus all the free catch up channels on the TV. There is free WiFi broadband. I also include books, 100 DVDs, board games, a poker set, magazines and tourist information. I also provide a USB plug with a micro usb cable and an iPhone cable if you have forgotten your own. The spacious kitchen/diner features an integrated washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, 5 hob gas stove with separate oven and grill plus extractor fan. There is a dining table with seating for 6 with 3 extra folding chairs. There is plenty of cupboard space for shopping and groceries. There is a combi boiler meaning all hot water is instant. Gas, Electricity and Water Bills are included. There is a good sized fully tiled family bathroom with bath/shower, toilet, basin and heated towel rails. Please note although fully tiled, it is not a wet room. The master bedroom is very large and bright with triple aspect windows, There is a wardrobe, 4 drawer double divan bed, bedside cabinets plus a seperate single bed. There is a wall mounted 32inch Sony TV. The master also has an en-suite with a large walk in shower, toilet, basin and chrome heated towel rails. The second bedroom is a spacious double with bedside tables, touch control lamps and a wardrobe with a chest of drawers. There is a 19inch TV withe integrated DVD player and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) chromecast so you can stream catch up TV and Netflix etc from your phone. The third bedroom has bunk beds which is ideal for children. There is a hanging rail and some shelving. Bedding IS included. Towels are NOT so please bring your own. I provide some toilet rolls, shower gel and hand wash. All bedroom windows have blackout blinds and are double glazed for great heat and noise insulation. The accommodation has central heating controlled by a thermostat in the hall The apartment is neutrally decorated with tasteful, local beach themed and nautical artwork throughout Outside: There is off road parking round the back of the building for 2 vehicles and an extremely quiet and safe road to park any other vehicles on free of charge. The building is enveloped by a small, pretty communal garden which is regularly maintained. This is a no smoking property but there is an ash tray outside at the front of the building. Just around the corner from the property are private tennis courts which you can access with the fob key provided. I also provide 4 tennis rackets and tennis balls. There is also a children's playground next to the tennis courts. Bournemouth town centre is only 5 minutes away in a car or taxi. Soutbourne and Boscombe high streets with shops, cafes and bars are only short strolls away. Private beach hut available to hire. Comes with plenty of seating, tables, kettle, gas stove and pan. Tea, coffee, juice and lots of games for the beach. The NeighborhoodLocal shops and Amenities: Southbourne high street is only a 15 minute stroll away with it's charming shops, bars and cafes including the very popular Ludo Lounge and the Larder House. Cafe Riva and the Commodore pub sit on the clifftop with beautiful views over the clifftops and beaches. In the opposite direction is Boscombe high street with a large Sainsbury's, post office, coffee shops, street market on Thursday and Saturdays, restaurants and take aways (McDonalds and KFC). There is also a Wetherspoons pub and the award winning Chaplin's cellar bar with great food and live music. Situated at the end of Keswick road is the excellent Little Pickle Deli Cafe where you can buy local fresh food and drinks. Bournemouth town centre is approximately a 40minute stroll along the beach, or 10 minutes by bus or car. Here you will find cinemas, bars, nightclubs, restaurants, theatres, the BIC (international concert venue), a large selection of shops with both high street chains and designer. From the town centre, you can walk through the gardens to the pier, perhaps stopping on the way to play crazy golf or fly high in the Hot Air Balloon to get an amazing view of the area. Just around the corner from the property is Shelley Manor where there is a medical practice and pharmacy. There is also an attached theatre with local productions. Shelley Manor has a large park behind it which leads onto the clifftop and beaches. There are private tennis courts which you can access via the fob key provided. I also provide you with tennis rackets and balls. There is also a children's playground in the park with swings and climbing frames. Other nearby facilities: Just a 10 minute walk away is King's Park which is home to Bournemouth football club. There is also a skate and BMX park, crown green bowling square plus a large Athletics stadium. Just past King's park is Queen's park which has a golf club open to the public The Littledown Leisure centre is a 10 minute drive away, and has swimming pools and waterslides, outdoor and indoor football courts and gyms Next to the centre is a park with a small lake, paddling pool and the Altitude High Rope Adventure Park Just across the road from the centre is a large 24 hour Tesco superstore. Behind Tesco's is Christchurch Golf centre and driving ranges which are open to the public A further 5 minute drive from Tesco's is Castlepoint shopping centre with many large high street retailers including M&S, Next, Asda, Sports Direct, Currys, cafes and restaurants such as Nando's and Franky and Benny's To the beach: To access the beach, simply turn right out of the property and walk 200m to the end of the road and you will be on the clifftop (If you look to the East/left, you should be able to see the Isle of Wight). Turn right and walk 100m to the Manor zig-zag which takes you down to the beach. It's that easy!! At the bottom there is a small shop open in the summer months selling hot food, ice creams and drinks. There are also public toilets. If you turn right at the beach and promenade, you will see Boscombe pier. There is the excellent Urban Reef restaurant and bar and a Harvester's pub. There is Sorted Surf shop where you can hire surfboards, wetsuits, paddle boards and kayaks. Lessons are available throughout the year. If you walk past Boscombe pier, you will see Bournemouth pier in the distance. It is approximately a 30minute walk away or alternatively you can hire a bicycle from the surf school which is situated just up the hill from the pier next to another bar/restaurant. If you want to stay down the beach and enjoy the beautiful weather (fingers crossed) then you can hire some deck chairs or even a beach hut. These are available at the council office by Boscombe pier. The beautiful sandy, blue flag beach stretches for 10km from Hegistbury head in the East to Sandbanks in the West. There is a promenade along most of the stretch so walking and cycling are very easy and enjoyable. Hengistbury head is a nature reserve and is the site of an ancient settlement. There is a brand new visitor's centre which houses all the historic tools and pottery discovered by archaeologists and there are also cameras showing the nesting sites of protected birds in the area. There is also an outdoor activity centre where you can learn to sail, kayak and windsurf. The historic market town of Christchurch is nearby with it's famous Cathedral, pretty marina with restaurants and cafes. Sandbanks at the western end of the beach is known for being the 4th most expensive place on earth to live. There are beach side mansions, a few bars and cafes and a watersports centre. You can use the chain ferry to access Studland beach and further beyond is the pretty sea side town of Swanage via car or bus (number 50). As you can see, there are many things to do and places to visit around this beautiful area. We have compiled a small folder in the apartment so can you read and plan your trips in your own time If you're after clear air, sweeping cliff walks, breathtaking views and snug little towns brimming with restaurants and shops to explore, Dorset is for you! Getting AroundBournemouth has great transport links and 'LIfe's a Beach' apartment is very easily accessible by all transport types Road: Traveling from London takes under 2 hours. Travel down the M3 following signs to Southampton then at junction 13 merge onto the M27. Turn onto the A31 at Junction 1 driving through the picturesque New Forest. Turn onto the A338 at the Ashley Heath roundabout to Bournemouth. Bournemouth is signposted clearly throughout the journey. Turn onto the A35 following signs to Boscombe. Turn off the A35 (Christchurch road) onto Chessel Avenue then left onto Browning Avenue. Keswick road is on the right and the property is just 50m further along. Train: Pokesdown station is only a 10 minute walk away from the property. The station is on the direct line from London to Weymouth via Southampton. Some of the trains do not stop here so check before travel. If you get off at Bournemouth station there is a taxi rank and bus station outside the train station. The number 2 yellow bus at Stand 8 travels here. Get off the bus outside The Little Pickle Deli cafe on Christchurch Road. Then walk down Browning Avenue for 50m and Keswick Road is on the right. Walk down road for a further 50m and the property is on your right. Air: Bournemouth airport is around 8km away in Hurn. This apartment runs from one side of the building to the other with aspect onto a quiet residential road from the bedroom while the open plan lounge opens onto the chine. Ensuite bathroom has walk-in rain style shower. Fresh towels and linen are provided and for stays longer than 3 days the towels will be replaced. If you are booking this apartment for 3 guests then the sofa is extremely comfortable and large! Or alternatively we can offer a fold-away single bed is with all linens at an additional charge of £15 a night. Minimum of 3 night stay for bank holidays. Alum Chine beach is far quieter than the beaches closer to Bournemouth town centre although is equally as sandy and inviting. Getting AroundIf you haven't got a car no worries, Bournemouth has an excellent bus service with buses running extremely frequently and late into the night! Normally in mornings (if the hens have laid some eggs) you can find coffee and tea accompanied by help yourself breakfast from the kitchen. You can feel free to use the laundry machines and tumble drier as well if you need. If you need work space we have quite office room with desktop, printer and normal office supplies. The SpaceWe have two rooms which both have single beds and bedding. We find this covers most bookings but don't mind if you request the beds to be put together. Each room has a wardrobe and chest of draws and bedside lamps. We don't as yet provide a TV as most guests either have laptops or tablets and rarely spend so much time in the room other than sleeping. Guest AccessGuests have use of a shared bathroom and shower which is separate from family use. The family kitchen is there to be used if required and space can be made in the fridge and a separate storage cupboard provided. We do ask that food ( especially fresh) be kept in the kitchen as accidents happen which are best avoided. Interaction with GuestsWe have lived in Bournemouth for a number of years and like to explore ourselves. We love travellers and encourage you to talk to us about where you want to go or generally share stories, so don't be shy. Alternatively, if you prefer to keep yourselves to yourselves, we can respect that. The NeighborhoodIf you don't want to go into the busy centre at night then five minutes from our door we have the alternative Charminster with lots of local bars and restaurants. We are also 15 minutes walk from the football stadium and are surrounded by parks. Getting AroundFrom outside the house the 5a/5b bus will take you to the coach/train station or further into the centre of town. Coming back it will drop you right outside our door again. Failing that, and if your happy to stretch your legs, a wander to the beach is only 20minutes. Other Things to NoteSimple thing, if you need something, just ask. At this popular time parking a car will be difficult - if I've got a space in the road and you have a medium-sized car you can take the space that I'm currently in. The apartment has a separate WC, Bathroom, a Fully Fitted Kitchen, Hallway and a delightful balcony overlooking the Church. The flat is fully serviced and comes with Linen and Towels etc. The apartment has Broadband Internet Access with Wi-Fi, a Blueray Player, and a 32 Inch LED TV. Bournemouth's "Town Centre The Square" is right outside the block with much entertainment most weekends, Tennis Courts just 500 Metres away, Beach and Pier also 500 metres. Golf course 500 metres. Multiple Gyms and fitness centres are near the apartment. The apartment is right by the Central Bus Stops in the Town Centre and easily accessed from the Train and Bus Station by a 10 Minute Bus ride. The apartment being at the back of the block next to a Church is rarely affected by noise. Car parking at Multi Storey across the road for £18 a week (at time of writing.) Strictly no parties and no animals. I only accept bookings from Saturday to Saturday July and August. Check in time is 5PM and Check out 12 noon. My apartment is fitted out and cleaned to a standard that I would expect if I was renting an apartment.     The SpaceFirstly please note we have TWO large deluxe en-suite rooms and only one listing therefore if the dates you have in mind appear booked, please always contact us (using different dates in the inquiry) as one room could still be available. Our house is right on the border of Bournemouth and Poole, near the beach and in the quiet, leafy, conservation area of Branksome Park. It is in prime position for those visiting Bournemouth, Poole, Westbourne, Canford Cliffs, Sandbanks, Swanage or beyond. We have two large contemporary en-suite guest bedrooms on the 2nd floor. One has a King size bed, large TV and bath/shower, the other has twin beds with TV and walk-in shower. WiFi is provided throughout the house and off street parking is available for those arriving by car. We are a mainly non-meat eating household and a healthy breakfast is provided. Cereal, yoghurt, eggs (free range of course), toast, fruit, etc. - soya milk is always available and gluten free bread with notice on booking. A full English breakfast (unhealthy fry-up) can be found at nearby café's if really required. PLEASE NOTE: Our accommodation is best suited to international travellers and those seeking a restful time and setting who like to spend the days out exploring. We are not suitable for young children or families seeking ‘bucket and spade’ beach holidays or late night Bournemouth clubbers. Please check out our 'House Rules' before enquiring. The NeighborhoodFrom our house it is only a 7 minute walk through a lovely chine (see Chineland) to the fabulous Poole Bay with its 10 miles of award winning sandy blue flag beaches sheltered by the Isle of Wight to the east and the Purbeck Peninsular to the west. From the beach, you can walk 20 minutes east along the promenade to Bournemouth town centre or the same distance west to Sandbanks, passing the cliff top village of Canford Cliffs on the way. The local village of Westbourne with its eclectic mix of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars is only a short walk away and we also have a nice local pub in an Edwardian building that serves food lunch times and evenings. The ‘best ride in town’ No 50 bus (open top in summer) stops right outside us on its way from Bournemouth to Swanage and includes a free ride on the Sandbanks chain ferry, however the best way to fully appreciate the surrounding area is by car. If you drive 30 minutes east you can be in the heart of the atmospheric New Forest. If you drive 20 minutes west you are at the start of the Jurassic Coast and the 630 mile long South West Coast Path; Studland Bay, Swanage, Corfe Castle and the ghost village of Tyneham are nearby. A little further and you reach the stunning Lulworth Cove and the famous rock arch of Durdle Door - nearby are the Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World and Clouds Hill, the home and final resting place of Lawrence of Arabia. Next comes Weymouth, Chesil Beach and Dorchester, (Thomas Hardy country) Lyme Regis and beyond. If you drive north for 20 minutes into the wonderful Dorset countryside you can visit the historic town of Wimborne Minster (not missing the ancient chain library in the Minster) and a little further to the old market town of Blandford Forum passing the Roman hill fort 'Bradbury Rings' on the way. You can also visit the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury (and Stonehenge) in one day out touring by car - and maybe even fit in a stop at ‘Downton Abbey’ (Highclere Castle). Bath and Castle Combe are also accessible by car. We are truly a location for all seasons. Other Things to NotePlease note we occasionally have a small friendly dog on the premises and our accommodation is not suitable for young children or for people with mobility issues.

Our flat is one of two in a large converted Georgian house situated in a quiet neighbourhood with houses built in a similar red brick style. Around the other corner from the flat (2 minutes walk) is Bournemouth's trendy Westbourne suburb popular with young professionals. Two bathrooms feature one with a shower and the other with a bath/shower. The large 60 square metre balcony is laid out with all types of patio furniture and a permanent BBQ, and has the benefit of all day sunshine on good days. A secure garage contains a tumble dryer and is available for bike/board storage. There is free wi-fi in the flat and Sky+HD television in two rooms along with Freeview in another. All linen and towels are included in the price. The minimum stay is five days but there is a discount of 10% for 7 days or more built into the AirBnB pricing. We are very careful to look after our many varieties of wild garden birds, and a fox and squirrels too. You are welcome to sit here and enjoy breakfast Al Fresco, if the weather allows. Our beach is Boscombe beach, it is also a surfer's beach where you can also rent paddle boards and all manner of sporty things. There are a couple of Surf Schools too. The NeighborhoodWe live in the Bournemouth area called Boscombe. It is well served by shops and there is a market here twice a week. 'The Crooked Book' is a vintage wonder shop and cafe should not be missed! Chaplin's Bar is a great place to visit if you like live music and they also serve food. Pretty newly refurbished Boscombe Pier, now with twinkly musical xylophones installed. A cool restaurant, one on the beach called Urban Reef is really good, a great atmosphere as well as excellent food and drinks. Koh Thai Tapas Restaurant, is a 2 minute walk from us and serves lovely food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Getting AroundWe are located conveniently between two railway stations - Bournemouth and Pokesdown Station. The main Bus station - Terminus - is located at Bournemouth station as well. There is even a direct bus service to Bournemouth Airport. ***Yes, we even have an airport! *** Many buses can be found a one minute walk away from our house. If you are driving, there is plenty of free parking near the house. Town centre for Bournemouth a very short 10 minutes bus ride and town centre Christchurch 15 minutes by bus.     The SpaceUnique converted apartment on 4 levels in a historic 'Collcutt' designed building 5 minutes walk from Boscombe pier, beach and shopping with a great range of shops cafes and restaurants. Impressive entrance hall inside the flat, 4.5metre high ceiling with gilded Corinthian style columns and original decorative plasterwork panels; a large crystal chandelier, a pool table and a study area on mezzanine that overlooks the hall. Up a wide staircase to the large open plan Lounge/kitchen/dining area with sea glimpses. A small utility room houses the washing and drying machines and freezer. Bedroom 3 is on this level with a sky light and 'secret' stairs down to an en-suite shower room. There are also french doors that open out onto a bridge that takes you to the large sun terrace with a large circular table and plenty of chairs. 2 Bedrooms downstairs with en-suite bathrooms, both with 'his and hers' basins and a two person bath in the main one. Stairs from the main hall take you down to the Media room with electric reclining leather sofas to view DVDs or your own computer display (via HDMI) on an 75" projector screen and surround sound system. There is wireless internet that covers most of the flat. Garage under the sun terrace is used for storing bikes etc.. 2 Parking spaces. Bournemouth town centre is just over one mile away and can be accessed via bus, taxi or a lovely clifftop or beach walk. N.B. I have noticed that if you are viewing this on Android the pictures lose their captions and friends comments do not appear! The NeighborhoodBoscombe has a unique character and charm, slightly more bohemian and less hectic than Bournemouth centre but lots of restaurants, cafe's etc and lovely walks along the beach or cliff tops. Getting AroundBuses are less than 5 minutes walk and the train station is just over a mile away. Taxis are cheap and plentiful if you fancy shopping or a night out in 'the big smoke' of Bournemouth! Other Things to NoteWe will often use a key safe located inside the building, beside the front door to give you access; so checkin/out can be very flexible.

Those of you looking for more company, we'd be happy to show you round the local area and recommend all our favourite haunts :-) The NeighborhoodThe room is beautifully quiet, as we only have traffic from others living in the crescent. However, a it's just a 2 minute walk from a friendly local pub and 5-10 minute walk from a cosmopolitan high street with a great selection of restaurants and bars. The bus stop is a minute away with buses that run every 3 minutes into Bournemouth town centre and beaches (10 min journey). There are 3 parks within a 10 minute walk, one that includes the Queens Park Golf course, we also have membership at the tennis courts, which guests are welcome to use free of charge. Bournemouth airport is only 10-15 minutes drive away and if we are free I would be happy to drop you at the airport for a small additional fee and you could leave the car at ours whilst on your holiday (at your own risk). We are also walking distance to AFC Bournemouth's home ground Dean Court, perfect for all those attending Premiership matches ☺️

    The SpaceJune 2015 we have new beds in the flat along with a brand new sofa bed and a repaint to the bedrooms and kitchen. New wooden blinds have been fitted to the lounge with new venetian blinds to both bedrooms. A new microwave and kettle to make your holiday more comfortable are now in place with additional soft furnishings to brighten the holiday space. A double bedroom for two, single bedroom for one and a small double sofa bed (can sleep two smaller people but guests have suggested better for one adult) in the lounge area. One bathroom with small basin, shower and toilet and mirror plus small towel rail/radiator. The kitchen is galley style within the lounge and includes microwave and washing machine plus toaster, pans and kitchen essentials. All crockery and cutlery is provided. I will leave a few essentials to welcome you. A nice cup of tea to settle you into your holidays I can offer a travel cot and there is a high chair at the property. Bedding and towels are included as part of the cleaning and laundry fee. Please note that this flat is on the second floor and has two flights of stairs. I am at the end of the phone and live locally if you need anything. I will post the keys out to you before your stay. A stroll into town is only minutes away and the beautiful golden sands are even closer. A few shops are close by for the little extras you might need and a handful of local restaurants and cafes are on the doorstep too. We are on a bus route and minutes to the local tour bus. Local buses tend to be open air too! There is limited on street parking and local pay and display.     The SpaceThank you for taking the time to look at my apartment, Sea Dreams. Please note I do not accept Hen or Stag parties, pets or groups that are all aged 21 years are under. The apartment is located on the 1st floor of a block of just 6 luxury apartments near the beach. There is lift access. The apartment is situated on a very quiet, tree lined street in Bournemouth. At the end of the street is the clifftop and a zig-zag path down to blue flag beaches of Southbourne and Boscombe. Bournemouth beach is just a short stroll away. The apartment comprises of: A large open plan living/dining room. The room is very light with a bay window and 2 further large, double glazed windows. There are 2, 2 seater leather sofas, an arm chair, a double sofa bed, coffee table, a Samsung 32inch Freeview HD LED Smart TV and DVD player. I have also included a Sony Playstation 2 with 4 controllers and lots of top title games to play if the weather isn't great. There is a large oak dining table with 6 dining chairs and 2 further folding chairs. There is free WiFi broadband and a large bookcase containing over a 100 DVDs, board games, books and tourist information leaflets and booklets including maps. There is also a folder containing Take away menus and a list of nearby recommended restaurants if you fancy a break from cooking. I also provide a USB plug with a micro usb cable and cable for iPhone in case you forget your charger. There is a separate kitchen with a large dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, 5 hob gas stove with extractor fan and large electric oven/grill. Please note there is no washing machine but there are laundrettes locally if you so need. There is a Combi boiler meaning all hot water is instant. Gas, Electricity and Water Bills are obviously included. There is a large selection of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, kitchen utensils and other kitchen accessories for your use. The entire apartment is neutrally decorated with tasteful local beach themed artwork. Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom with a double divan bed with memory pocket sprung mattress. There are 2 bedside cabinets with touch control lamps. There is a huge mirrored sliding wardrobe with plenty of space and clothes hangers for all your belongings. There is a bedroom chair and TV with integrated DVD player. The master has an en-suite bathroom with toilet, basin, shaver socket, all modern luxury chrome fittings and walk in shower. Bedroom 2 is the smallest bedroom with a comfortable small double bed, chest of drawers and some hanging hooks. Bedroom 3 features a double bed with pocket sprung mattress, 2 bedside 3 drawer cabinets, a triple wardrobe and TV with DVD player The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, toilet, basin, 2 bathroom cabinets and heated towel rails. Although the bathroom and en-suite bathroom are fully tiled, please take care not to excessively spill water onto the floor as they are not wet rooms. BEDDING IS PROVIDED but towels and toiletries are not so please bring your own I include a Welcome pack with helpful information for your stay along with some tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits to help you settle on arrival. Outside: There is a small communal garden and one designated parking space. All other vehicles can park for free on the quiet and safe road to the front. There is always parking spaces there. There are private tennis courts less than a 5 minute walk away which you have access to with a fob key that's in the apartment. I provide 4 tennis rackets and balls. There is an intercom entry system to the building if needed. Private beach hut available to hire. Comes with lots of seating, tables, gas stove, pan, kettle, tea, coffee, juice and lots of things for the beach including lilos, frisbee, rackets, boules, cricket set, football plus lots more. In the opposite direction is Boscombe high street with a large Sainsbury's, post office, coffee shops, street market on Thursday and Saturdays, restaurants and take aways (McDonalds, Subway and KFC). There is also a Wetherspoons pub and the award winning Chaplin's cellar bar with great food and live music. Situated at the end of Keswick road is the excellent Little Pickle Deli Cafe where you can buy local food and drinks. Bournemouth town centre is approximately a 40minute stroll along the beach, or 10 minutes by bus or car. Here you will find cinemas, bars, nightclubs, restaurants, theatres, the BIC (international concert venue), a large selection of shops with both high street chains and designer. From the town centre, you can walk through the gardens to the pier, perhaps stopping on the way to play crazy golf or fly high in the Hot Air Balloon to get an amazing view of the area. For a full list of things to do and see in Bournemouth. Just around the corner from the property is Shelley Manor where there is a medical practice and pharmacy. There is also an attached theatre with local productions. Shelley Manor has a large park behind it which leads onto the clifftop and beaches. There are private tennis courts which you can access via the fob key provided. If you would like to play, please contact us and we will book you an hour slot. We can also provide you with tennis rackets and balls. There is also a children's playground in the park with swings and climbing frames. Other nearby facilities: Just a 10 minute walk away is King's Park which is home to Bournemouth football club. There is also a skate and BMX park, crown green bowling square plus a large Athletics stadium. Just past King's park is Queen's park which has a golf club open to the public The Littledown Leisure centre is a 10minute drive away, and has swimming pools and waterslides, outdoor and indoor football courts and gyms Next to the centre is a park with a small lake, paddling pool and the Altitude High Rope Adventure Park Just across the road from the centre is a large 24 hour Tesco superstore. Behind Tesco's is Christchurch Golf centre and driving ranges which are open to the public A further 5 minute drive from Tesco's is Castlepoint shopping centre with many large high street retailers including M&S, Next, Asda, Sports Direct, Currys, cafes and restaurants such as Nando's and Franky and Benny's To the beach: To access the beach, simply turn right out of the property and walk 200m to the end of the road and you will be on the clifftop.(If you look to the East / left, you should be able to see the Isle of Wight). Turn right and walk 100m to the Manor zig-zag which takes you down to the beach. It's that easy!! At the bottom there is a small shop open in the summer months selling hot food, ice creams and drinks. There are also public toilets. If you turn right at the beach and promenade, you will see Boscombe pier. There is the excellent Urban Reef restaurant and bar and a Harvester's pub. There is Sorted Surf shop where you can hire surfboards, wetsuits, paddle boards and kayaks. Lessons are available throughout the year. If you walk past Boscombe pier, you will see Bournemouth pier in the distance. It is approximately a 30minute walk away or alternatively you can hire a bicycle from the surf school which is situated just up the hill from the pier next to another bar/restaurant. If you want to stay down the beach and enjoy the beautiful weather (fingers crossed) then you can hire some deck chairs or even a beach hut The beautiful sandy, blue flag beach stretches for 10km from Hegistbury head in the East to Sandbanks in the West. There is a promenade along most of the stretch so walking and cycling are very easy and enjoyable. Hengistbury head is a nature reserve and is the site of an ancient settlement. There is a brand new visitor's centre which houses all the historic tools and pottery discovered by archaeologists and there are also cameras showing the nesting sites of protected birds in the area. There is also an outdoor activity centre where you can sail, kayak and windsurf.. Sandbanks at the western end of the beach is known for being the 4th most expensive place on earth to live. There are beach side mansions, a few bars and cafes and a watersports centre. You can use the chain ferry to access Studland beach and further beyond is the pretty sea side town of Swanage via car or bus (number 50). Getting AroundThere are bus stops at the end of the street which can take you into Bournemouth and Poole town centres or to the coach stations. Pokesdown train station is a 10 minute walk away with trains going to Weymouth, the New Forest, Southampton and London Other Things to NoteI'm afraid I do not accept Hen parties, Stag parties and groups all aged 21 years and under.
