We can accommodate up to 6 people and pets are welcome by prior arrangement. There is off road parking for two vehicles plus a pretty garden at the front and a good sized enclosed at the rear. Prices from as low as £425 per week make this property an affordable luxury getaway. Overview A cosy retreat, whether you spend the entire day relaxing in the garden or come back in the evenings from a long day at the beach, this house will accommodate all. Living Room As you enter the property all rooms lead off the spacious hallway with beautiful wooden floors running throughout. The lounge is double aspect with uninterrupted views overlooking open fields to the rear, garden and quiet lane to the front. There is a wood burner, 2 comfy sofas, one of which is a sofa bed, piano, dining table and chairs, bookshelves, coffee table and new 32” HD Freeview TV with surround sound. Patio doors allow seamless access into the rear garden with patio, BBQ and level lawn area. You can also access the villages and beaches of Croyde, Putsborough, Woolacombe. Croyde is a magical place nestling around a stream running down to the sea. This award-winning sandy beach is fine and flat, ideal for children and good for surfing. Rock pools are in abundance and the dunes are a haven for young and intrepid explorers. Local fun parks for the children such as Cascades Pool Park are a great way to spend the day. Croyde Bay is renowned as a premier surfing beach destination in England for short and long boards. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, volleyball, kayaking and horse riding is on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Croyde beach enjoy its ice cream shop, gourmet restaurants, superb village pubs, surf shops, and art gallery. You can easily walk to Putsborough beach and the North Devon coastal path, or its a short drive to the myriad of other North Devon surfing beaches. The people are friendly and the pace of life un-rushed. Getting AroundThere is a bus service between Georgeham and the neighbouring villages and towns. It operates approx hourly during the day, except Sundays and Public Holidays. Other Things to NotePlease be aware that to access the annexe you need to negotiate a short but steep set of steps. Unfortunately I am unable to accommodate children, however, infants are welcome at no extra cost and I can provide a travel cot, you just need to bring bedding.             The SpaceCroyde Barn is grade 2 listed, I renovated the property back in 2008 and 2009. There are 4 bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and 2 reception rooms and fully fitted kitchen. There is a decked are outside and a patio. There is parking for 4 or 5 cars. The reviews you see are from guests that rented the whole place. WiFi Guest AccessThere is a key safe at the property. The code will be given the day you arrive. Interaction with GuestsPlease give me a call if you need any help with anything. The NeighborhoodMy place is really close to the three pubs in Croyde, there's The Manor pub if you turn left and if you turn right into the village you have The Thatch and Billy Buds and Blue Groove cafe and bar. There's a village Post Office, shop and a few surf shops where you can rent boards and wet suits. The ice cream parlour is well worth a visit too. It takes about ten or fifteen minutes to walk to the beach or five if you run! Getting AroundBraunton is the nearest town where you can go shopping, there's a Tesco and a few cafes and restaurants. There's also a surf museum that's located in the main car park. You'll also find a pharmacy there. Saunton Sands golf course is on the way into Braunton and I'm told it's a very good course. There's a bus stop opposite Blue Groove.

If we're looking for a delicious Sunday roast and wonderful roaring fires we pop over to The Rock in Georgeham. Most of our summer evenings are spent barbecuing on Saunton, Croyde or Putsbrough beach and on a Friday night Barricane beach (tucked next to Woolacombe bay) offers a delicious Sri Lankan curry - well worth a visit! Getting AroundWithin walking distance: For walkers Georgeham village with its excellent local pubs and village store. There is the fantastic South West Coast Path just a few minutes away. Coastal and Countryside walks include the cliff coastal path to Baggy Point, Woolacombe and beyond. A cycle ride away:Braunton village, Croyde Beach, Putsborough Beach. Croyde Bay is renowned as a premier surfing beach destination in England. For the more adventurous there is kite surfing, volley ball, kayaking and horse riding. Cyclists can enjoy the 30-mile Tarka Trail tracking the scenic coastline of North Devon. Within driving distance: Putsborogh, Saunton, Woolacombe and Barnstaple. Explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Some local coastal villages include historic Clovelly, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more. Saunton Golf Course is 3 miles away with its 2 famous links courses. Putsborough 1 mile away is a classic surf beach on the North Devon coast and is surrounded by National Trust land with breathtaking views and numerous walks.             The SpaceShippen cottage is a delightful period property, stylishly appointed and with all mod cons. Set in a semi rural setting but within 5 minutes drive of the nearest town and 3 minutes from the beach, it is great place to escape the rigours of a busy life, or to just get away from it all for a while. The cottage is perfectly suited to families with your own enclosed garden and with access to a larger communal garden with picnic benches. The property has 2 bedrooms, one with a double and the second with twin beds. There is a bathroom with bath and shower attachment. I can also provide a cot and high chair for infants. My minimum stay is set at 7 days Saturday to Saturday, but if you are looking for something different please get in touch, I can generally be a bit flexible out of season. Guest AccessThere is a key safe attached to the cottage. Guests will be provided with the combination 24hrs prior to arrival. Once in it's all yours! Interaction with GuestsThis is a private cottage that you have all to yourselves, you generally won't see me, but either myself or my sister (who looks after things whilst I am away and is an experienced airbnb host) can be contacted to help out with any problems. The NeighborhoodSaunton is a small hamlet with a few farms and cottages. The nearest shops are located in Braunton which is approx 1.5 miles away. Saunton beach is within walking distance, but this is partly along the main road. Getting AroundTo fully enjoy the delights of the region I would recommend coming by car. There are local taxis available. Other Things to NoteI am happy for a dog to stay in the property, however, please let me know if you are intending to bring a pet.
