The NeighborhoodThe things I love about living here are , living in the artistic quarter of the city , with an easy relaxed feel . To be so close to the city centre , and have beautiful trees and space , and still the energy of Brighton . There are many different things to see and do within walking distance . Just across the road is Preston Park , a beautiful tree lined park , great for dog walking , picnicking , or simply relaxing and watching the sunset . It has two lovely cafes , with delicious home made cakes ! I'm a keen film buff , and it's great being just 5 minutes walk from the Duke of York Cinema , a small independent cinema where many different genres of film are shown , also small film festivals at different times of the year . Everything that I need is close by , a lovely delicatessen with worldwide treats , small restaurants and coffee shops , a flower shop , and independent stores . Also i'm a keen cyclist , its just 3 minutes to the preston Park Velodrome , which is open to everyone , and the meeting place for many Brighton cycling clubs throughout the year . From here it is a short trip and a direct route to the town centre and the seafront , about 30 minutes to walk and 15 minutes in a taxi . Just a short journey to the Pavilion , or the Pier , or the Laines . Being here I am able to access all the the city has to offer , and be in beautiful surroundings . Getting AroundThere are bus stops very close by , and many regular bus services from to all parts of the city . The London Road train station and Preston Park train station are very close by . 30 minute walk to the town centre or seafront . 15 minute taxi ride to the town centre . 10 minute taxi ride to Brighton station . 45 minute taxi ride to Gatwick airport . It is important to note that whilst guests have the house to themselves there is a self contained flat upstairs which shares the front door and has it's front door off the hallway by the doors to the downstairs bedroom. The large kitchen dinner and living room are at the back of the house. Guest AccessYou'll have access to the entire downstairs of the bungalow. Upstairs is a self contained flat which shares access through the front door. The tenant upstairs very much keeps to themselves but is very friendly and quiet and respectful. I would only welcome like minded guests. Interaction with GuestsYou will be shown how everything works when you arrive and if there are any problems help is just a phone call all away. The NeighborhoodBrighton is pretty small so everywhere is walkable. If you don't feel like venturing into town Seven Dials has loads of lovely cafes, bars and restaurants and shops. If you want nice walks you can either go to the downs, 10 mins away by car or the seafront. Getting AroundThere are lots of buses on dyke road to take you into town and walking is easy too. Taxis are quite reasonable in Brighton, around £5 from the station to chatsworth road. Other Things to NoteIf it is wet outside please avoid going on the decking as it gets very slippery

        My place is close to the city centre, music and cinema and bars. We are the house on the hill which gives you great views of the whole of Brighton from the lounge. Nearby there is Preston Park and other green spaces to walk past. My housemates are lovely and friendly and might cook you breakfast sometimes. My room is rather large so good for couples and also solo adventurers, business travellers with a beautiful peaceful view of the trees and garden and we welcome furry friends (pets).

The NeighborhoodIt is peaceful in this part of town at nighttime but such a short walk to everything! It is a beautiful area, all painted in classic white, iconic of Brighton. Getting AroundThere is the train 10min walk away. There is the main shopping area 5min walk away (Churchill square). The Laines are 10mins (right below the train station). Kemp town is 20mins walk and the sea is 5mins downhill, perhaps 10mins back uphill. Buses are easy and leave from Churchill square all the time, you shouldn't really need one. Taxis are everywhere, quick to call and turn up at the door.

A lovely quiet place to retreat to after a day out. Getting AroundThe 27 bus, a two minute walk away, will take you to the hustle and bustle of Brighton and Brighton Station in 15 to 20 mins, or you could try the 77 bus, for an open top excursion to Devils Dyke and Brighton Pier; stop off en route at the 7 Dials for more eateries, bars and access to buses to Hove. Brighton has many attractions including the magnificent Royal Pavilion, myriad bars, restaurants,cafés, galleries& theatres, cinema, shops and the famous Brighton Lanes, not forgetting the seafront with the i360 and Pier with amusements, is a diverse and Cosmopolitan city where people watching is as interesting as browsing the shops. Brighton is a place that hosts many festivals from The May Brighton Festival and Fringe Festival,which includes music, theatre, food, open houses, dance, acts, ( some off the wall but all entertaining ), to comedy, food and film and photo festivals. The famous London to Brighton old crocks race finishes at Madeira drive along the seafront, and there is also the London to Brighton bike ride and a motorbike event very year. In fact there is never a dull moment living here. Travelling to Brighton by train, a taxi here will cost approx £10 or the 27 bus stops by the station for your return journey to my house, add a PlusBus to your train ticket on purchase and you can have unlimited access for the day around Brighton and Hove to Steyning in the West of Sussex and Seaford in the East. It is a bright and spacious 2 bedroom apartment on Dyke Road, which is located just outside of the city centre. Preston Park railway station is a short walk away and there is easy access to the A27 bypass. Andre's Apartment comes with 2 private parking spaces and a bus route is located right outside the front door. From here you can easily visit the many attractions that Brighton has to offer including the North and South Laine shopping district, the Royal Pavilion and the Theatre Royal. It's a converted house (dating back to 1890) so there are 3 other flats in the house. Please, respect our neighbours and be quiet. Interaction with GuestsWe live in the flat during the week, generally. When it's available at weekends, we're never very far - usually an hour away, max. So if anything happens, we'll be there for you. The NeighborhoodGreat neighbourhood! We're located in a conservation area, our street is unique in Brighton. Everything is available to you on your doorstep. We absolutely love it because we can walk anywhere in Brighton and Hove. Getting AroundFrom the flat, you can take buses to anywhere (in town, the county and the country). You can also walk to all restaurants, clubs, bars, supermarket etc. It can't get better than that! Other Things to NoteIt's difficult to park in central Brighton so it's best if you come over by train. But if you have a car, you can park in carparks nearby (Regency for instance) or in the street... there's a ticket machine. But beware, it's very expensive.

        Looking for somewhere to stay this Christmas and New Year's in Brighton City Centre? My place will be perfect for you! Compact but perfectly formed, this flat is right in the city centre, very close to the beach, in the midst of Brighton's finest pubs and restaurants, up the road from the i360, and a stone's throw from Churchill Square Shopping Centre. It's close to all transport links across the city and Brighton train station to get up to London in 50 mins.

It goes without saying that it's not a party house. We'd expect guests to treat it as their own and respect our property and our neighbours. We all love a good stag do but this just isn't the right place for one! Getting AroundBrighton is a great place to explore on foot, but if you're in a hurry, local taxis are cheap and plentiful. If you're arriving by train, both Preston Park station and Brighton station are around a 15min walk away. If you have a small car (e.g. a Golf), there is space to park on our driveway. Alternatively we can supply day permits.

The NeighborhoodMy house is so central to Brighton. Everything is within ten minutes walk, yet the road is lovely and quiet, as it's two roads up from main road. Getting AroundPublic transport is brilliant. Regular bus services criss cross the city. Other Things to NoteParking is difficult in Brighton. It's best to arrive by public transport.
