The NeighborhoodA picturesque location, at the foot of the Stour Valley, on the North Downs, surrounded by beautiful walks through fields or woodland, including a riverside walking and cycle path, leading you all the way into the heart of the historic city of Canterbury. The Artichoke, an excellent country pub and restaurant is a 5 minute walk away (pre-booking essential, as this is a very popular pub, with a delicious food menu). Attraction leaflets, guide books and maps all available. Getting AroundExcellent public transport network in the village, by train or bus into Canterbury, Ashford and London, is just a 5 minute walk from the cottage. Convenient for travel links to the Continent, at Dover, Folkestone and Eurostar at Ashford. Along with secure storage for bikes, we also have maps of the many local cycle paths, that our two-wheeler transport guests may like to enjoy.
